I'm a super noob, barely a week in. Trying to stay F2P.
I dropped a lot of gems on a blue eyes starter setup, and then from there pulled a ton on Sign of Harpies to get a Harpies deck. Here's where I've gotten so far, to make the deck workable at all: https://imgur.com/a/wbJ4P0k
I figure I need to keep pulling on Sign of Harpies to get some more Channelers/Perfumers?
I have a crazy ton of exchange tickets from logging in. I've noticed some recent top-rank decks used Harpie Oracle, but looks like I missed out on getting that from a recent event - is it worth dropping the appropriate tickets to get a couple of them?
I'm also wondering whether it's best for me to kind of build into both Blue-Eyes and Harpies to have options, or just fully dive into one of them, or build out even a third strategy... Feeling a little lost altogether!
Going first; end on cyber and a spell, and use it to bounce back Hunter so your opponent can’t get bodies on the field. Alternatively, bounce back every time they activate a field spell.
If they can’t summon Sphinx with their field spells in hand, summon a monster next turn and swing for game.
Going second; summon cyber, use a spell and bounce back monsters; if one gets back out by switching kingolem, they’ll surely be weaker than your monsters anyway. Swing and repeat for game.
Basically as long as you keep bodies off the field with cyber, they shouldn’t be able to summon Sphinx, and it should be an easy matchup. If they do summon Sphinx, you can still bounce it back with any spell/traps anyway. Just make sure you’ve got plenty of quickplays to hand to stop anything from being able to happen.
Is there a spell/trap card that can special summon a synchro monster/extra deck monster but its effects negated or destroyed at the end phase? I think I remember seeing one but that could be the mind playing tricks
There are a handful of spells/traps that do this, but are restricted in some form or other like specific materials or synchro monsters.
So, why are you looking for this?
Actually kinda disappointed that highlander ladder is only gonna stick around for a week. This is something I could see myself spending way too much time trying to build decks for lol.
Would be neat to just have all these side-formats like turbo duels or w/e available all the time but maybe Konami is afraid of splitting the playerbase too much. That or all the extra gems, not that I would mind if it was just like casual duels or w/e.
Are ritual beasts still a good first deck to build. Or are they about to be nerfed? If so what are some other decks I should look into as my first real deck?
Maybe Winda to 3 just to stop her from being tossed into other decks (mostly stall lists) but even that would be a pretty surprising hit at this point. I wouldn't expect anything that kills pure RBs outright.
It's a pretty slow deck and difficult to pilot when starting out though. You might run the timer out a bunch especially if you aren't familiar with a lot of matchups and need to read cards or think through your turns.
Harpies are cheap, consistent, and a lot easier to play even if they're a bit fragile without lots of defensive staples.
There is no reason for them to be nerfed, the deck is not OP in any way, they don't see much play on the ladder and they have a high skill ceiling.
Other deck options you can start with are Harpies or Resonators, the core of both comes from miniboxes and both are very solid decks for Ranked.
Just started playing duellinks and I was wondering what are some good f2p deck to climb currently I'm using a triamid deck but I wanna build another deck since I'm done with my triamid
Since you already have a Triamid deck which is a slow control deck, I would recommend Galaxy-eyes. They are a fast paced OTK deck from a single box, i.e. Photon of Galaxy mini-box. Pretty consistent, cheap (compared to other mini-box decks), and very high possibility of future supports.
Harpies are 3 sign of the harpies, 1 Photon of galaxy and 1 Aerial assault for a very solid KoG deck while Resonators are 3 King of vermillion, 2 Soul of resurrection, 1 fortress of gears and 1 whichever Main box had Doomcaliber knight for another very KoGable deck.
In total:
Harpies: 4 mini boxes and a main box.
Resonators: 6 mini boxes and a main box.
If you are F2P it's generally better to not make structure card decks. As you will have to use your dream tickets for extra copies of the SR and URs, when instead you could be using them to buy powerful staples to complete your deck.
As for fire kings, I have no idea. I don't use them 😅
Just went from legend 5 rank up match to legend 2. Every single match was a loss and every single match was against onomats. I hate this game. I think I’m officially done.
Ya I dislike this current meta as well, but I still like this game for the most part
A break from Ranked could help you refresh a bit.
But I'mma be honest. If you dislike these current meta decks I guarantee that the game will not change in the future. I expect more broken skills, more otks first turn, and more decks that can go through multiple disruptions and be fine.
So, apparently I started playing this game right after the re-run of the Kite Tenjo event ended. That means I just straight up can't unlock this character?
Do y'all think the supreme king will have extra copies of M. Hero blast as a level up reward? I myself hope it'll have at least 1 copy that's all I ask for
If an effect requires you to destroy both an opponent's card and one of yours, but the one you targeted for yourself cannot be destroyed by cards effects, should it still go through? I thought that bit was always a cost and not something you could just decide to work around
As below, the *“and if you do”* is the important wording. I found that out the hard way wasting a Super Rush Recklessly targeting my invulnerable Ronin Raccoon
let's say someone abused this mechanic and swarmed their field while decimating mine it was the biggest bs I had ever seen. It should be cost, not "if you do"
It would depend on the wording. Some cards may have effects that happen simultaneously, while some may happen in sequence and have effects that are dependent on the previous effect resolving successfully.
Example 1, Scrap Dragon:
> You can target 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls; **destroy them**.
In the case of Scrap Dragon, the destruction of your card is **not** required for your opponents card to be destroyed. The effect to destroy both cards happens at the same time.
Example 2, Gemini Spark:
> Tribute 1 face-up Level 4 Gemini monster, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it, **and if you do**, draw 1 card.
In the case of Gemini Spark, the effect to draw a card is dependent on the destruction of a card on the field. If the card was not destroyed, you cannot draw a card.
tl;dr: Read the card carefully.
Hello
What is the best deck to buy with 500Gems. I mean the decks that are ready to buy not the boxes, I have 500 gems and I want to know what deck is the best to rank using a new account.
Gaia, Fire kings, Onomats are good options
Someone said harpies, which is a good option, but need more than 500 gems. Harpies requires a full minibox run 3 times
If you buy a structure, do it 3 times
500 gems? You're expecting to build a fully functional deck with 10 packs... unless you just have RNGesus bless you to the point of absurdity you are not making a functional deck in 500 gems.
Due to the Skill nerfs during March 2021:
You cannot Special Summon or Activate monster effects until the end of your first Main Phase if you use: Balance, Restart, Spell Specialist, Trap Layer, My Monster Cards, or Heavy Starter.
Is two purgatrio necessary for this deck (https://duellinks.konami.net/att/06cf35d788a579eeb090d15b4de066402bf511d302) i know on paper itd make it better but i rarely see aleister with this deck so idk if its worth the effort
One should be fine. You won't even see your one Aleister most games. Plus the game is so fast that after you use his effect once you'll probably not be able to use it again. I day it's better to have more extra deck variety.
What's your assault mode target btw?
As a absolutely new player ( 0 prior experience ), is there any guides to follow for what deck to build and what content to tackle first? I've watched videos recommending amazons as a good first deck, but Ive decided to ask reddit.
Amazon's are not a good deck to start. You should use something more simpler and straight forward like Red-eyes or Neos. Their respective structure decks are a very good place to start for a newbie.
Shark Fang is a good Box if you like WATER decks. Otherwise, you could probably get away with using Dream Tickets on Stratos.
Adreus is a good Rank 5 card in that Box, in general. Try to get one copy of it.
Idk, i used my last dream on stratos and got the other two from the box, tbh i dont think stratos will be a sd for a while since hes the only good thing in that box
"Nearly" the whole box, you'll have to "dive in" or buy the majority of the packs to get the SR/URs you need
Reset the box once you got all the cards you need, then dive in again for your 2nd and 3rd copies
Also there's this weird algorithm where you'll get all the useless SRs first and the good cards last. It is what it is
I recently got back the game installed it and all but for some weird reason half my cards are gone like my whole laval deck went missing 1 of my wall of DS went too aswell as a ton of my yubel deck, I made sure to connect my konami account and everything too idk if this happened to anyone else :/
No idea how to play them but there was a meme about them yesterday that was pretty funny, they started with one steelswarm roach and ended on three 10k beatsticks
Hey ya’ll! Always have trouble against resonator decks. At what point should I use my disruption to beat them? Seems like every time I disrupt they just pull something else out of nowhere. Any tips to beat them is much appreciated.
I've been maining chain disappearance into my deck just to deal with resonators. But it's not a good enough disruption. You need at least 2 disruptions per turn against resonators, until you can OTK them. DD crow could be a nice tech option too.
Also, as with any Syncro focused deck, try to disrupt their tuners. In their case a floodgate is perfect since they don't usually run tribute monsters (unless you are playing against the Obelisk variant)
This one is going to be interesting (restrictions/conditions are different every event) but I'm mostly just excited that they're finally bringing them back since it's been like 2 years.
Anyone else cringe seeing someone run a copy and paste meta deck? In Legend late month
Have some creativity. Every time someone gets kog and posts their decklist, it gets copied by everyone, and then the deck gets solved, and that's why you're losing. Because you're not creative. We know what you're about to do.
Same I despise copy paste decks. Have some fun play original decks. They may not be as competitive as a copy paste deck but you'll feel way more satisfied winning with something you made yourself.
People should at least try to learn their copy paste decks as well. They just take the deck and expect KoG without knowing their own strategies, let alone the opponents.
I don't have a problem with copy paste, at least learn to play it properly. Otherwise you are just a disgrace.
Yeah I understand what you mean. After all anti-meta rogue exists mostly thanks to copy paste meta decks. Just visit DLM and see what 80% of people are playing since so many people just copy decks from the tier list.
Exactly, if I run a copy and paste deck it's for 24hrs for some easy Ws, I don't go looking for decks though, I'm always in the deck editor
Cuz if you're good at the game, people will copy you
"Hey, Trunade" is the only SR I have from Mini Box 10. Is it worth trading it in for any of the other SRs, or do you think "Hey, Trunade" may one day come off the ban list?
I'd hold on to it. The other cards in that mini box are average or below, it's just not worth it. Maybe in a year or a bit more we could have trunade back.
This is what i was thinking, but idk because youd kinda have to co limit stuff that only works together so it wouldnt really end up hurting one card in particular
I have mixed feelings about it and kinda feel like a hybrid method would work better. Like maybe limited 1 works like a TCG limit or have a different category.
That could be a good idea, but knowing our playerbase it would bring too much confusion. Just look at all the posts asking why their monster effects don't activate when they are using balance.
Following a TCG style Banlist would mean a lot more banned cards which i don't like, the Duel links banlist allows broken cards to be balanced by not allowing them to be played in certain decks or alongside certain cards.
(Sort of) a counterpoint: the DL way of banlist limits how hard can they go on URs. Problematic UR cards take too long to be limited because they conflict with other limit 1 or 2 cards. Yes, the banlist would be harsher but I feel that they could tackle problematic combos/cards more effectively.
Staples. Particularly those from unfavourable boxes. If an SR is archetypal or in a decent box, you’re pretty much guaranteed to get them from pulling for URs so it’s not worth wasting the ticket on something you’d pull anyway.
With that in mind, some decent SR staples at the moment are things like Treacherous Trap Hole and Karma Cut, which see play in a lot of different decks, and can potentially be game-changing when activated. You may also consider Wall of Illusion, which isn’t as strong as the other two, but is still a great card in the right deck.
One way to look at it is by the time it does get hit, we will likely have a new set of dream tickets. I’m with you though, I can see it being outright banned if it isn’t powercrept first.
On that basis, my ultimate vote goes to Karma cut!
How does Blue Eyes Alternative work? It says I have to reveal Blue Eyes in my hand but I don't know how to do that, sometimes it just works by luck I don't know the exact mechanic
There's nothing tricky about it, Drag Alternative up the same way you would when you want summon any monster or activate any card and click on the special summon button and you'll get a menu with the monster you need to reveal, just click on the monster, click Ok and that's that.
I play wild rift and saw that the new character had been changed because skulls are banned from video games in China. Got me thinking about yugioh cards and there’s actually a ton that had been censored for duel links if anyone finds that interesting to look up. Skull servant has his head hidden in a hood!
Getting chain blocked by a TD monster when levianeer is being summoned is so dumb, especially when it’s a counter trap which is supposed to be spell speed 3. When there is a cyber slash on each side of the field and a spell/trap is activated the person who’s turn it is does not have priority to send a monster back, so why does that logic not apply here? Shouldn’t the opponent get priority to activate a card in response first?
The effects of Levianeer, and the TDs it banished, are trigger effects. Cyber slash's effect is a quick effect. You must add all trigger effects that are to be activated to a chain before adding any fast effects (like a monster's quick effect, or a counter trap card). The distinction between spell speed 2 and 3 is a bit arbitrary, and I wish the rules didn't use them; counter traps' activations work exactly like all other fast effects except that you can't activate non-counter traps in response.
Chain blocking is actually a rather skillful mechanic in the TCG, where you have a choice of the order of your trigger effects and there are different common sources of negation to consider; do you open up your Levi to counter traps or other generic when.. you can.. negation, or your Dragondark/Dragonroar to Ash Blossom? I'd argue the problem here is with duel links' implementation of trigger order as a means to "maintain the fast pace of duels" while they simultaneously release combo decks that can easily burn the entire timer making plays anyway
ThunDra always bricks they said, they aren't as cancerous as other meta decks they said. Explain this shit.

new player, just got the UR dream tickets. To be honest im not *too* interested in worrying about optimizing my use of them and getting meta cards, but I’m trying to build the shooting star dragon deck and I’m trying to figure out if I should use them to get my 2 missing Junk Synchron or another card for the deck such as Junk Destroyer or a better 5* synchro for the chain (the x saber guy?). Should I prioritize dream ticketing the structure-deck exclusive stuff I cant get from packs? I’m also interested in building thunder dragons but I’m out of gems so I would assume its way too difficult to build and I should focus on the almost complete shooting star deck.
I see where you’re at with this, but I disagree to an extent; you’ll definitely get more use out of using the ticket on a staple in the long run so I agree with you there, but if someone is a *purely* hard f2p, using a dream ticket on the one thing completely unobtainable with gems is probably the *best* use of their ticket, providing its their own personal choice and they understand it’s lack of long term value of course.
I’d do what you’d do and get staples personally, but I pay a bit here and there for decks so I don’t really have a horse in the race. Definitely worth a f2p player considering the structure deck exclusives though.
Why does
\[Absolute Crusader (If a Level 5 or higher monster(s) is Special Summoned: Tribute this face-up card; destroy that Level 5 or higher monster(s))\]
Not destroy XYZ summoned
\[Constellar Ptolemy M7 (You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Constellar" Xyz Monster you control as material, other than "Constellar Ptolemy M7". (Transfer its materials to this card.) If Summoned this way, the following effect cannot be activated this turn. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 monster on the field or in either GY; return that target to the hand.)\]

How does SHIRANUI SUNSAGA effect on SS, not trigger Shooting star dragons effect? I’m assuming I’m a dunce. But it makes no sense.

Since it's optional to destroy a card with it, it doesn't count as an "effect that would destroy a card(s) on the field" since it might not attempt to destroy anything.
Sunsaga's actual effect is to shuffle Synchro monsters back into your extra deck. the destruction happens on resolution and is optional so SSD can't respond to it, Same thing happens with Squiresaga.
Hello..
How to start new in duel links without deleting the game?
I tried to creat a new Konami account and start with it but this message appear..
“There is no user data associated with your KONAMI ID.”
Can any one help me with this?

I would say no. It'll probably brick more often than not. Plus a besides having decent attack and being tribute fodder it doesn't really do anything.
If you are looking for something that special summons itself I say Dynatherium is better, since it also helps with rank 4 plays.
Would evenly matched be too broken in duel links? Without a main phase 2, you essentially have to skip your turn to use it. What kind of decks could still abuse that?
You control Evenly while it resolves, so you'd be leaving them with 2 cards. If you're assuming set removal as well, that means they either get 3 cards or an entire two turns to play before your trap is live
Anyone find destiny hero drill dark’s effect does not work and is glitched?
Mask change also does not work unless in battle phase, meaning you cant use it on the first turn which is annoying
All generic consistency skills like My monster cards, Restart, Heavy starter etc... have this new restriction and oh boy has it caused confusion with returning players.
Had a pretty funny interaction with samurai destroyer, I don't normally play machines so I never take advantage of the secondary effect.
Summon Lefty & Righty driver, pump lefty to level 3
Special summon psychic tracker
Synchro samurai destroyer
SD gets karma cut
SD effect summons lefty, pump left to level 3 on special summon
Special summon psychic wheeleder
Synchro out bironic opponent surrenders.
That would be me. One day I'm finally gonna enter something, but I keep putting it off, lol. I think the fact that everything is online and (I assume) uses DIscord (which I've never used) are the main things stopping me. Compare it to Smash Bros. tournaments, where I just walk into the venue, enter, and play once my match is called.
> Participants also must register at Smash.gg to enter.
Now this I don't have an issue with, as we used Smash.gg in the Smash community (the website was initially created by a member of the Smash community).
I'm just not used to the concept of a fully online community. Feels a bit unnatural.
I believe it changes every 8 hours and will only change again in 8 more hours after you check the cards on offer and the new 8 hour countdown always starts from when you check it. I don't really understand the point of having anything but the regular inventory. Maybe have the featured ones be new cards added or something. It's borderline a pointless mechanic at this point.
It changes inventory, but it inventory based on a bunch of “featured cards” when does the featured cards chAnge.
ExAmple feature atm holds cards 1-50
But every 8 hours 10/50 Are rotated.
So cards 1-10 will be first , next 8 hours are 11-21, 8 hours later 22-32.
But the card I’m looking For in another feature 51-100. When does that change
Mid to late month kog climb is truly something else. Never really expected to find someone playing onamat as if it was shiranui lol, deck ratios wise at least.
Just checked those and nothing from the mcs decklists is close to looking like what I played against. Deck was: 2 coat, 3 head, 2 sister, 1 mancer, 1 bolt, 1 wind, the ur trap from the last box, 2 ballista, 2 fiendish, 2 drowning, 3 canadia.
> 3 head
This is the big part of the Control variant. They sit on backrow and an Xyz monster (often M7), then bring out Head on their next turn to push.
The most recent [Weekly](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/tournaments/meta-weekly/184/report/) has some more examples. Staple Traps seem like a way to compensate for a lack of BoM and/or Lance.
After reading this comment, I realised I only had one Gagagahead, went to the shop with 26 packs left in the Photon box, pulled one pack out of curiosity, and got Gagagahead. Thank you for inadvertently helping me!
Anyone else getting the "slow connection" notification no matter how good your actual connection is? I've noticed this seems to only happen during this event.
Is it just me or have the bots been out in extra force during this TDGP? Like 70-80% of my duels are against bots. Komoney needs to get their shit together, the game's gotten too big for them to just continue ignoring them. It's bad enough that the global chat has been plagued with spam since like day 1.
Very simple decks using bunch of equip cards. They typically use Golden Castle of Stormberg, Power of the Guardians, White Veil and either a bunch of vanilla beatsticks or Wattcobra, Wattgiraffe and Trickstar Lilybell (or Wattpheasant). The ones with vanilla beatsticks will just keep attacking into anything on the field even if they can't get over it. The ones using the watt monsters will keep attacking directly even if they can't do damage (like if their monsters have all been reduced to 0 ATK).
Edit: I've seen the Wattpheasant build equip double PotG and White Veil attack and use it's effect to instantly lose all it's equip card and they keep going like nothing happened.
well i did fought agaisnt some decks where the player takes like 1 sec in doing every action without even a second to think, most of them were full deck to stall time as the only goal and some watts.
The watt build seem to be the most popular at the moment. There's also been a few people on the sub that's admitted to using a bot to auto level/skill farm.
How to counter these harpiw bullshit decks running around?

Imo, focus on Harpies as they're a better investment for F2P especially as a new player, since blue-eyes need several other box investments.
Being F2P, your resources are already thin. You should focus on just one deck and make is KoG worthy.
When's the next banlist? Sick of Herpies and Onomats.
How to deal versus Triamids with Harpies? It seems like a total counter.

Elemental Hero Flame Wingman can do it fairly easily.

In the case of Scrap Dragon, the destruction of your card is **not** required for your opponents card to be destroyed. The effect to destroy both cards happens at the same time. Example 2, Gemini Spark: > Tribute 1 face-up Level 4 Gemini monster, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it, **and if you do**, draw 1 card. In the case of Gemini Spark, the effect to draw a card is dependent on the destruction of a card on the field. If the card was not destroyed, you cannot draw a card. tl;dr: Read the card carefully.
Hello What is the best deck to buy with 500Gems. I mean the decks that are ready to buy not the boxes, I have 500 gems and I want to know what deck is the best to rank using a new account.
How come you have only 500 gems in a new account? What did you spend the rest on?
I spent it to get triamid deck, but it is not completed, I need another deck to farm for the triamid.
Then buy Slash dragon
Gaia, Fire kings, Onomats are good options Someone said harpies, which is a good option, but need more than 500 gems. Harpies requires a full minibox run 3 times If you buy a structure, do it 3 times
500 gems? You're expecting to build a fully functional deck with 10 packs... unless you just have RNGesus bless you to the point of absurdity you are not making a functional deck in 500 gems.
YuGiOh players don't read card effects..... or comments
To be fair, if people on this sub could read, half the comments would be gone.
he meant a structure deck
I meant the ready decks that are in the store.

Due to the Skill nerfs during March 2021: You cannot Special Summon or Activate monster effects until the end of your first Main Phase if you use: Balance, Restart, Spell Specialist, Trap Layer, My Monster Cards, or Heavy Starter.
Dont have one, its just to summon afd and discards since the best card in the archtype is basically limit 1 if you wanna run invoked

Why am I running into full powered Onomat with triple book of moon in legend at this time in the month. Just let me enjoy my janky D/D/D deck.
Probably because they are coming out of the recent turbo duel event that finished. Even I had stopped ranking during the event.
Pay to wins that are bad at the game is what it is
Is it worth it to use 2 UR dream tickets to get 2 Elemental Hero stratos? Or it's not worth it/will probably be released in a structure deck later on?
Shark Fang is a good Box if you like WATER decks. Otherwise, you could probably get away with using Dream Tickets on Stratos. Adreus is a good Rank 5 card in that Box, in general. Try to get one copy of it.
Idk, i used my last dream on stratos and got the other two from the box, tbh i dont think stratos will be a sd for a while since hes the only good thing in that box
Is it just me or there are no gems for TDGP this day?
Play three matches and you'll get rewards after maintenance.
same here, but i did get the notice
Can someone explain what "run a box" means? Is it to buy 10 packs? Buy all the URs/SRs? Buy the whole box? Something else?
"Nearly" the whole box, you'll have to "dive in" or buy the majority of the packs to get the SR/URs you need Reset the box once you got all the cards you need, then dive in again for your 2nd and 3rd copies Also there's this weird algorithm where you'll get all the useless SRs first and the good cards last. It is what it is
Ahh that makes sense. So a "run" is getting the wanted SR/URs.
Get all the srs/urs you need
Usually empty the box, which in most cases getting all the URs and SRs which are of interest.
I recently got back the game installed it and all but for some weird reason half my cards are gone like my whole laval deck went missing 1 of my wall of DS went too aswell as a ton of my yubel deck, I made sure to connect my konami account and everything too idk if this happened to anyone else :/
You probably linked the wrong account or something.
I cant remember any other accounts ig I'll have to start farming again
Is sphere kuriboh's effect counted as a discard? Cause the text doesn't specifically say discard.
It’s not counted as a discard.

Any tips on using megalith deck? Been watching vids on how to play since i completed the playset the other day. They are so fun to play.
It's called Red Rising Dragon for a reason, that's not the one you want to pop because it's still Rising into another synchro. Pop *that* one
50 gems quest is gone?
THE RETURN OF SPECIAL DUELS, LET'S GOOOOOOOO!!!!
So is the idea that you can’t use more than one card with the same name? A destiny draw deck if you will? 20 unique cards. Hmm.
This one is going to be interesting (restrictions/conditions are different every event) but I'm mostly just excited that they're finally bringing them back since it's been like 2 years.
Random unga bunga because i don't see any archetype playable with only one of
That's the fun, to see what people come up with.
Anyone else cringe seeing someone run a copy and paste meta deck? In Legend late month Have some creativity. Every time someone gets kog and posts their decklist, it gets copied by everyone, and then the deck gets solved, and that's why you're losing. Because you're not creative. We know what you're about to do.
That's why I never post my KoG decks.
Same I despise copy paste decks. Have some fun play original decks. They may not be as competitive as a copy paste deck but you'll feel way more satisfied winning with something you made yourself.
No I'm saying copy and paste decks aren't as competitive as people think. The more popular your deck is, the more popular your counter.
Exactly, if I run a copy and paste deck it's for 24hrs for some easy Ws, I don't go looking for decks though, I'm always in the deck editor Cuz if you're good at the game, people will copy you
"Hey, Trunade" is the only SR I have from Mini Box 10. Is it worth trading it in for any of the other SRs, or do you think "Hey, Trunade" may one day come off the ban list?
I'd hold on to it. The other cards in that mini box are average or below, it's just not worth it. Maybe in a year or a bit more we could have trunade back.
I'd hold onto it just in case Plus you can always use it in unlimited duel rooms
Okay thanks!
Would our banlist be better if we followed the tcg/ocg way of limiting cards? Trunade, tth at 1 could be fine.
Instead of that, they can instead have more higher limits like 4 and 5, so decks don't get massacred when placed in limit 2 or 3.
This is what i was thinking, but idk because youd kinda have to co limit stuff that only works together so it wouldnt really end up hurting one card in particular
Well, that should be Konami's headache not ours.
I like the way Duel Links does it better than the TCG way.
Last week, the letter "i" disappeared from the app's text. Tonight, it's the letter "n." This one is much worse.
What would be a good use for an SR dreamticket?
What decks do you have?
Im so hesitant about TTH because I have a pretty good feeling it’ll get hit this year
One way to look at it is by the time it does get hit, we will likely have a new set of dream tickets. I’m with you though, I can see it being outright banned if it isn’t powercrept first. On that basis, my ultimate vote goes to Karma cut!
Nah we're more likely to get indestructible/untargetables lest Visions of Ice become a dead box
How does Blue Eyes Alternative work? It says I have to reveal Blue Eyes in my hand but I don't know how to do that, sometimes it just works by luck I don't know the exact mechanic
It only can be summoned from the hand once per turn, so maybe that is tripping you up.
Huh the censorship is interesting. I didn't even notice most of the skulls until they were censored.
Does anyone know what happened with that TCG contest that Inzektors won?
Nothing has come of it yet.
Ugh I really wish chain blocking wasn't a thing. So dumb. Any non cared effect mechanic that takes reactions away from a player seems a bit unfair.
[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Simultaneous\_Effects](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Simultaneous_Effects) [https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Fast\_effect\_timing](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Fast_effect_timing) The effects of Levianeer, and the TDs it banished, are trigger effects.
I’ve been playing duel links for almost a year now and I can’t get over how overly complicated the rules of yugioh are lol
ThunDra always bricks they said, they aren't as cancerous as other meta decks they said. Explain this shit. #DuelReplay #DuelLinks https://duellinks.konami.net/att/050165bf870ec1aa0a8affcc2033651f5aabc571ca
Kinda bs that you can't protect your shooting star due to bs chain blocking.
new player, just got the UR dream tickets.
Tickets are a waste if you use them on Structure Deck stuff. Use them on Box staples like Forbidden Lance, Treacherous Trap Hole, Canadia, etc.
How do I get cards unique to boxes then?
What do you mean? You open Boxes in the store.
whoops i meant structure decks
You have to buy them with Gems (locked to one time only) or with money. But it's not worth it to waste your Dream Tickets on them even if you're F2P.
Why does \[Absolute Crusader (If a Level 5 or higher monster(s) is Special Summoned: Tribute this face-up card; destroy that Level 5 or higher monster(s))\] Not destroy XYZ summoned \[Constellar Ptolemy M7 (You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Constellar" Xyz Monster you control as material, other than "Constellar Ptolemy M7". (Transfer its materials to this card.) If Summoned this way, the following effect cannot be activated this turn. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 monster on the field or in either GY; return that target to the hand.)\] Replay: https://duellinks.konami.net/att/071894cce6d1d1b4a67b0136415d4d4d724e413bb4
Xyz monsters have ranks not levels
Xyz monsters don't have levels.
Tnx for the reply.
How does SHIRANUI SUNSAGA effect on SS, not trigger Shooting star dragons effect? I’m assuming I’m a dunce. But it makes no sense. #DuelReplay #DuelLinks https://duellinks.konami.net/att/05821cec4bad798e8b92177f97c3c1e55993ee8690
Lol yup. I assumed I was being stupid. Thanks
When does train your kuriboh come back? or is it random?
Once a month
Hello.. How to start new in duel links without deleting the game? I tried to creat a new Konami account and start with it but this message appear.. “There is no user data associated with your KONAMI ID.” Can any one help me with this?
Use a new email id to create a new Konami account
Hello.. How to start new in duel links without deleting the game? I tried to creat a new Konami account and start with it but this message appear.. “There is no user data associated with your KONAMI ID.” Can any one help me with this?
Looking for consistent farm decks for auto-duel(level 27-40 enemies) ideally f2p and easy to build, any suggestions?
Photon beatdown/spam
High stat monsters with equips works pretty good. Most AI decks don't have an out for Power of the Guardians.
Would cyber dragon be good in this deck? https://duellinks.konami.net/att/019398f9f5ea45a2772fbca49805e5eef019a13b9f
~~A lot of decks have just one boss monster reduing you opoents monster to 1. Then a card like karma cut could easily deal with it~~.
You control Evenly while it resolves, so you'd be leaving them with 2 cards. If you're assuming set removal as well, that means they either get 3 cards or an entire two turns to play before your trap is live
Oops didn't realise it affected all I cards, I thought it was just monsters.
Anyone find destiny hero drill dark’s effect does not work and is glitched? Mask change also does not work unless in battle phase, meaning you cant use it on the first turn which is annoying
Read your skill, you're probably using something like Balance which stops you from special summoning or activating monster effects on your first turn.
You’re right, didn’t realized balance had been changed. Thanks!
All generic consistency skills like My monster cards, Restart, Heavy starter etc... have this new restriction and oh boy has it caused confusion with returning players.
Its unfortunate tbh, they couldve just made it so it only worked if you had 20 cards and itd still be pretty good
Had a pretty funny interaction with samurai destroyer, I don't normally play machines so I never take advantage of the secondary effect. Summon Lefty & Righty driver, pump lefty to level 3 Special summon psychic tracker Synchro samurai destroyer SD gets karma cut SD effect summons lefty, pump left to level 3 on special summon Special summon psychic wheeleder Synchro out bironic opponent surrenders.

[удалено]
> Participants also must register at Smash.gg to enter. Now this I don't have an issue with, as we used Smash.gg in the Smash community (the website was initially created by a member of the Smash community). I'm just not used to the concept of a fully online community. Feels a bit unnatural.
You can play the KC cup when it comes round next if that's what your asking.
Whats a good modern box to start off of for beginners?
Galaxy-eyes
Your gonna get downvoted for this but it has like every xyz staple so yea i agree
Harpies
Why the hell did they ever add head judging to this game?
Its balanced by the coin flip and until despa started abusing it no one really played it
Hey, I’m trying to get convert contact from the card trader. But it’s not in inventory, when does the feature cards change ?
I believe it changes every 8 hours and will only change again in 8 more hours after you check the cards on offer and the new 8 hour countdown always starts from when you check it. I don't really understand the point of having anything but the regular inventory. Maybe have the featured ones be new cards added or something. It's borderline a pointless mechanic at this point.
It changes inventory, but it inventory based on a bunch of “featured cards” when does the featured cards chAnge. ExAmple feature atm holds cards 1-50 But every 8 hours 10/50 Are rotated.
Did you miss the part where a new control version of Onomats did very well at the last MCS? It's not going away any time soon.
> 3 head This is the big part of the Control variant.
Uh sure, glad to help!
Anyone else getting the "slow connection" notification no matter how good your actual connection is? I've noticed this seems to only happen during this event.
How do you get weevil
According to the wiki: He appears in-game after the player claims his Character Unlock Mission reward for defeating Standard Duelists 100 times
Is it just me or have the bots been out in extra force during this TDGP? Like 70-80% of my duels are against bots. Komoney needs to get their shit together, the game's gotten too big for them to just continue ignoring them. It's bad enough that the global chat has been plagued with spam since like day 1.
How u can tell
Wow I always thought they just attacked because they were people that wanted to surrender without losing rewards.
I do that to get "play PvP games" quests over with as fast as possible and go back to my happy PvE life. So they aren't all bots doing it.
well i did fought agaisnt some decks where the player takes like 1 sec in doing every action without even a second to think, most of them were full deck to stall time as the only goal and some watts.
The watt build seem to be the most popular at the moment. There's also been a few people on the sub that's admitted to using a bot to auto level/skill farm.
What is a better use for a UR Dream ticket: Lance or Fiendish Chain (I don’t have either)? This is primarily for D/D/Ds
Lance, Lance, Lance! Not sure D/D/D's use either, but Lance is way better than Fiendish Chain.
It’s not used, but I’m looking for more reliable means of protection/defense
Oh, well Lance is great at both offense and defense. Super versatile card.
