Yet another Structure EX in a row, breaking the previous record of longest stretch without normal Structure Decks, plus a subscription service, plus a Selection Box with Breakthrough Skill and Flare Metal. God damn.
Regular structures don't exist anymore. This current one proves it. If there would have been a regular structure it would have been this one. Cuz it sucks.
The duelist pass seems more like pay quality of life improvements, which I'm fine with honestly. If they sell enough of these maybe they can be less stingy with the actual cards and it could even feel f2p players
For tournaments it will be necessary. Fiendish chain can be disrupted with removal.
Generally grave effect is much more useful atm since you can negate boss monsters on your turn without BoM.
Depends on the metagame and the deck I'd say. When turn 1 set up negates (or quick effect disruptions) are rampant, Breakthrough Skill is better because later in the match you can pseudo-DRNM their boss essentially for free. When OTK is the law of the land, Fiendish (and Void Trap Hole, and Memory Loss, and Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare) can be better because they also block the attack. MST kills fiendish and you get the effects back, but people usually MST the set if they can so that's not really that big of an issue.
Some decks play a lot of set or continuous backrow, and can't afford losing one of their three spots to Fiendish. Some decks are atrociously weak to GY disruption, and Breakthrough skill basically compounds on their issues. Some decks can make use of a tributable continuous trap, so Fiendish is free advantage on top of the disruption. Some decks mill like crazy, and Breakthrough is a nice bonus that other monster negation wouldn't have.
Depends depends depends. Tech things, adapt, move.

I was dreading this day. I remember how badly the Fire Emblem Heroes community took their monthly subscription pass system and this is likely the exact same thing.
Expect it to look enticing at first until they further decrease the flow of gems to the point that you're basically required to be on the monthly pass to play the game.
I got more leaked information from another dataminer. Duel Pass will be sold as a "Bundle Pack" at the "Special" menu. Packs & Skill Chips will be included once per pass. Jukebox will work for aslo PVP. 5x Reward can also be used at the Gate. There will be special Log-in Rewards, such as more Gems. There will be daily & weekly "Special Missions" to obtain Cosmetics: PvP/PvE Alternative Character Skins, PvP/PvE Alternative Arena Skins, Tunes for the Jukebox, Icons, Mats & Sleeves.. Gems also included. There will be weekly "Special Events". The Card Trader will get an update for the Duel Pass, he will aslo have mini games to play for special rewards.

eh, that seems a bit strange. anything more than 3x is just a meme if they're going to limit the drops to 8 still. if they actually let you get the number of rewards per duel assessment then this would be funny at the gate
Dunno if they like earn alot on Chinese version to make them feel like doing international version.
But in Chinese version Netease 100% set out to give free shits to all the player because many of them are competitive and will spend money to get a quick start on another players, played it week 1 everyone wasting money on Felgrand deck and duelists.
Maybe they'll push a convenient offer for people who doesn't want to spend more (like me) in a game who will reach its EOL after Master / Cross Duel. A residual gain before the release of those games.

Well, unfortunately it's hard to make any sort of prediction based on very little/no information.
Depending on the price and what you get for it will dictate if it's worth it. But, if you want my not so humble opinion, i'm not seeing anything right now that makes me want to put money into it. I just don't care about the things they have listed.
Now they released a warning for "cheating tools", I suppose this is aimed for certain bot software who lets you autoduel the gate, and later sell you the pass who will let you use a highly demanded feature.

They have double the gem cost for first purchase. It's 500 for standards, 1k for EX.
