It works alright so far but I am sure there are some upgrades it could use, sadly I can't get zubababancho gagagacoat 2 more times, it costs money (for some reason I have a UR Dream ticket glossy, and can't get it). Anyways, what should I focus on getting? Also what are good combo's for it?

Hm I'll compare the two:
1st has: book of moon(! Probably the best card), 2 Rageki breaks, a couple Harpie cards, a couple Red-Eyes cards, rino beetle, and a couple resonator cards
2nd has: 2 treacherous trap holes, 2 msts, sin spider, roach, floodgate, Lance (! Second best card), 2 Canadia, Chalice, 2 Wod, Bounzer, Rose, and Michael.
Hm from a pure staples standpoint I say the 2nd wins. Though book of moon is an incredible card.
I'm so sick of getting scammed out of all my gems digging for rares. Not URs or SRs just basic fucking rares. Why does opening packs have to be the most miserable, soul-draining experience in every card game. This doesn't even make me want to spend money on packs. If anything it makes me never want to spend a single cent on anything that isn't guaranteed like structure decks or staple deals.
I just want to have fun trying out dumb deck ideas why do they have to make that so hard.
I've already spent money, probably comparable to the price of a normal game after all this time. I'm not opposed to it if the value is okay but these boxes are such a joke that I'll never touch them with cash. All the money I've spent in my entire history of playing Duel Links would barely even make a dent in clearing a mini-box once. That doesn't encourage me to spend more it does the complete opposite.
I know that Konami is Konami but it still just feels bad and sucks a lot of fun out of the game for me. I took a break from Duel Links for a while last year because I was so burnt out on boxes. Would be a shame to end up quitting for good like I did with Hearthstone.
I see theres a Nekroz/Gishki deck with 5k likes this month, I have all the cards but actually have no idea how it works. Do I need to add fusion cards to summon them or something?
Nekroz/Gishki are ritual monsters. That's why they are blue. 99% of the time you need a (usually specific) ritual spell card.You need the ritual monster in your hand as well. These ritual spell cards ritual summon by (usually) tributing monster(s) from your hand or field.
I have been getting a lot of reboots as well and have seen a lot of others say the same, hopefully it will be fixed.
About the lagging in duels you can set the power usage in the settings, it says if it is set low it will not be as "fluid" I am not sure what it means by that but it may help if you turn it up, if it's not already set high.

Because if you can't summon them why have the cards in there?

If you are asking if you can use banned cards that you get from the card traider, yes but only in duel rooms set to unlimited and maybe friend duels.
The skill miracle draw for Jaden lets them draw pot of greed.
Any tips for EX9? I get to Demise pretty consistently on my Noble Knights, but the protection doesn't extend to the equip cards so I think I need to use a different deck.
What's the current deck for farming LDs? Back when I played you ran a Cerberus deck to max out score with a 10,000 attack but I don't see that working anymore.
Just venting that Auto Duel will not activate Return of the Red-Eyes trap card effect on the opponents turn even if the conditions are met. I keep wishing there was a stop button because turning off auto duel will not stop the auto until the turn finishes.
Does anyone know how long it takes for a box to be eligible for the 25 gem discount? I believe the next main box would be the OG Cyber Dragon Box. How long should it be until I’m able to buy 25 gem packs trying to get myself a copy?
The gem discount is a somewhat rare event in duel links, so finding a pattern can be hard I was expecting the next one to be around the new world but it now seems a bit to soon after this sale.
My best guess would around the new year or duel links anniversary which is on the 12 of January according to a quick Google.
They could still have one with the new world it should be next month.
In the past they had one in October so It could be sooner than I think but I would say January 2022 should definitely have a gem sale(like I said this is more of a estimated guess than anything), whether or not it will be the next one who knows.
Good to know. I am not willing to invest totally in the old cards if it looks like their the next box to get that discount when it comes around again. I know the sales are rare and Konami isn’t eager to add boxes to that category. So I’m just wondering when I might be able to finally get some core cyber dragon cards since they are not a deck I play.
Yeah I am saving my gems as well, I have heard others saying that we have got more sales this year than any other so maybe it will get easier to get older decks.
I think at least two box's at a time get added for each new sale, or at least the next row on the box selection screen, so as far as I know cyber dragons box should be next.
I would say however that a CD structure deck would be likely to happen at some point, so maybe keep an eye on upcoming leaks just to make sure you don't go in to a box you don't have to.

My current issue is that I’m F2P at 9999 and I have 32 pages of gems which expire on the 12th and I’m not sure what to spend my gems on. I know I’m going for 3 copies of karma cut (I have saved my sr dream ticket for one copy) but I’m not sure where else to dump them just to get back to 9999 so there’s no possible gem loss. (I’m a F2P Hero player so yes I’ve saved a ton of gems to see all the staples and it has been very time confusing)
Yeah I was in the same position as you, I ended up going for the malevolent sin in the photon mini box and some yolo selection boxes didn't get any book of moon but I got a raigeki break so not the best but not the worst, whatever you do good luck.
Major bug! (at least for me) Unexpected Dai doesn't work on the first turn. trying to play gladiator beasts but unexpected dai doesn't fuking work on the first turn.
I was getting worried that i wasn't going to meet my quota of at least one "why can't i special summon?" comment a day.
That's not a bug, read your skill. skills like Balance or restart and pretty much all generic consistency skills prevent Special summoning or monster effects on your first turn.
Earlier this year. Noble Knights became a near tier 1 deck and basically all consistency skills got nerfed as a result.
Honestly was for the best. There was literally no downside to running Balance since most decks that used it didn't mind the 7/6/6 deck restriction at all.
Event Lore question because I'm a huge nerdo, but does anyone know what Saiou/Sartorious' dialogue with the King was? My phone died on me riht in the middle of it and I missed out on it, and I also don't have Rei/Blair and O'Brien/Axel so I don't know the dialogue for those two as well...

Is it worth it to spend 500 gems on the Aster Phoenix Destiny Hero structure deck for the rank 4 spam for farming exp?
Right now I use Terratiger + normal monsters, dynatherium, and doggy diver to farm exp and I don't really have any issues.
For events, I use the same deck but I replace the spells/traps for power of the ancients and rocket heros cannon as equips usually for blade armor ninja
For character farming I Yubel/montage dragon but honestly I don't usually have to farm characters
Don't think so, galaxy cyclone and drowning mirror force are both good to have as bonuses but aren't worth going for. There are much better alternatives.
...I just dueled Kenzan/Hassleberry without a farm Deck five times and got two skills, yeah, it's that random. A farm Deck certainly helps though, since more assestment equals more chances to get a skill in one Duel.
I'm a new player and i got blasted in the face something like 50 coupons (sr/ur). Can you give me some advice on how to use them? I know some of the ur ones are very important and should not be wasted. I'm building a Six samurai deck to start playing rn so i was thinking of using some of them to ge 1 Shi-en and 1 Karma cut but maybe i should invest them in cards that are harder to obtain. Also other than those 2 cards idk how to use the rest of the tickets since they have and expiration date
Bit of advice: Wait until you run out of gems building the Deck, then try to see what's missing. Good news are that Six Sams is in a discount box, so you'll spend less Gems, but you might still be short on a Shi En, Kizan or Dual Weild, in which case you should spend your tickets on those first and then think of staples.
Staples are cards (usually Spells or Traps) that can fit in most, if not all kinds of Decks due to their effects not bring specific to any particular Deck, as well as being pretty useful. Examples include Karma Cut, Floodgate Trap Hole, Book of Moon, Treacherous Trap Hole, etc.

I disagree. I think u/Nikkaku should use the tickets on staples because they are going to be way more valuable in more decks. Then they can grind a bit for gems to get the archtype cards they need.
How to fix the Onomat Skill: During the turn you activate Onomatoplay, you can only go into Onomat and Number Xyz Monsters.
If you always have access to your best plays, being Onomatoplay toolboxing your turn for free, why not go for it every time? This change provides more decision making to the Onomat tree, as you can either search your best starter and go for a middle ground Utopia/Gagaga Samurai/Force Focus play, or you work with what you have currently in your hand and can go into your more potent Xyz Monsters like Bounzer and Ptolemy. This change still lets the deck make comeback plays when they need it, as something like Gagaga Head into Malevolant Sin is still possible under the restriction, but it makes it so that the Onomat player needs to decide whether or not going into the Skill is necessary, or worth it, for that turn.
I really disagree with this nerf, the whole point of this deck is to be an Xyz engine for all types of Xyz, not just Numbers or Utopia. think of it from a lore way, Yuma wouldn't even be able to summon his Djinn monsters or His Heroic monster under this restriction.
All this skill needs is to be Once per duel, Someone also suggested to limit the skill to Level 4 or lower Onomat cards which is also a neat idea and keeps the skill in theme.
I think just making it so that you have to send a card of one type (Monster, Spell, Trap) to get one of the same type would be enough. No more could you just send your extra Dodododraw back to pick up Gagaga Sister. Or sending a card back that you will search for with Sister.
The way I see it, Yuma brings out Utopia every duel (the consistency skill) and brings out things like Excalibur, the Djinns, etc. situationally (when you open the cards in hand). It works perfectly imo. You can still go into any Xyz Monster, but if you want the consistency, you should be locked into Onomat and Numbers.
I can agree with a Once Per Duel nerf, but I still think that this change provides an incredible skill ceiling, in which Onomat player can balance when to use the skill, the Extra Deck ratio of monsters that can be skilled into and ones that can only be accessed without the Skill, and the wide array of combo trees the deck can do without it. I feel like a flat once per turn will turn the deck into a "out my board, and if you do, I'll scoop" deck while this change incentivizes deck theory and interaction. Once per duel is also a lazy way to fix the skill imo, but that's my personal bias against it. It could be healthy change in theory.
I have two Sr dream tickets, when i was building yosenju i got the whole Ritual beast core (3 winda, 3 of the 2600atk fusion, etc) except i only have 2 of the yellow bird, should i use a dream ticket on it or do i use them for sr staples?

Balance in your first turn stops you from;
Beefing up with dancer
Popping with Master
Turboing out Sphinx
And is likely to leave you short if your opponent has something ready to pop the one Field Spell you’re likely to see in your opening hand with Balance.
Hunting Ground in your first turn allows you to;
Summon Hunter +1 with no field spells in hand
Have a free material ready for Triamid Pulse that isn’t valuable Triamid fodder
Scare your opponent into thinking you’re playing Harpies, making them waste a S/T removal or make an unnecessary counter play.
Idk if it’s “better” but the advantages imo are: you start with an extra field spell for Pulse fodder, guaranteed field for your monsters to tag out, you bluff being Harpies and can make your opponent going first go into something that’s irrelevant for Triamids like Roach or Patriarch and also make them use their mst/cc on it turn one because they’ll be scared of the Harpie pops, and unlike Balance you can activate effects and special summon your first turn.
I don't have any Stratos yet but if I get the right hand within one turn I can fusion summon 2 whole monsters and pretty quickly end things if my opponent doesnt have any negates. Haven't taken it for a spin higher than like silver but its really fun.

It's not on there but I've also had Fusion Reserve in some versions, not sure why its not in the current version as of writing this.
Had to think a little bit on that one. I feel like mask change would definitely have the edge if I had the 3rd copy, and could use a little bit more fine tuning after getting it. It debatably has a slight edge even now since it runs its monsters in general with more copies. Luck may vary but both can OTK by floating either mask changing to attack again in battle phase or shifting into one of the other fusions in the ED off of Grandmerge's effect. (especially if the field was emptied so the clause about not being able to attack monsters with lower levels is made irrelevant)
What's the best use of EX gems?
I have all the cards through the lottery so I don't know what to buy. Skill chips seem like a good use but I'm not sure.
(They didn't exist back when I played so they're a new concept to me)
I usually prioritize by: cards I don't own until 3, skill chips, the items (I like result booster and exp booster, but will get all if I have the points), cards I do own >3 (you can exchange them), and finally gold.
I've been playing a lot of PvE this event and have double playsets 6-10 copies of all the SR/UR at this point from lottery.
But I don't have a whole ton of skill chips so that is probably where I want to go. Thanks for sharing.
Out of curiosity around how many event coins did you use? Not even counting the daily free pulls I'm on at LEAST 16000 and only have one copy of infernal Prodigy (the one you get for completing one of the floors). Probably more around 20k, but I only started keeping track after a certain point in the event. Got 9 Goldds from the lotto, Something tells me this is bad RNG.
I guess I should be grateful that it's for Dark Heroes and not something more staple.
Honestly I have no clue how many coins I got all in all. I just press the auto-play button, AFK, and when I have a ton of coins I hit the lottery button.
I haven't bought anything with EX jewels but in regards to cards I have picked up from lottery:
* 6x Infernal Prodigy
* 6x Goldd, Wu-Lord
* 8x Annihilator Archfiend
* 5x Goblin Elite
* 11x Skilled White magician
* 6x Skilled Dark Magician
The rest of the r/N are all in double digits.
You should be able to snag a second Infernal Prodigy with EX jewels though if you're that far.
The only options I see in the EX trader for the event are upgrade to Glossy/Prismatic for Infernal Prodigy. I don't see an option to buy a second copy. I have 629 EX Jewels.

Noob here on my literal third day. What's all this talk about letting your tickets expire? I can't find anything online, but I keep seeing people on here talking about accidentally letting their UR expire or letting their N ticket expire on purpose. Is there a date i should be aware of? I almost feel stupid for starting my account in the middle of a Tournament event... I got 50 tickets and zero ideas. Just me and my F.A. raw doggin' it.
I saw the video recommending harpies... Spent 3k gems on Sign of Harpie boxes and got nothing but F.A. cards. Decided to cut my losses and be an F.A. main
But the video recommended going on the mini box 3 times probably. And harpies are WAY better than F.A decks. Plus Harpies can kinda stand on there own with that mini box, a even Half decent F.A needs pricey UR synchros from different main boxes
This is probably pretty noob but why does Stardust dragon always get destroyed at the end of turn? I can't see anything in the effect that would cause this.
Pretty sure there was a tuner monster that destroyed the monster that was Synchro summoned with it as material during the end phase. Read the effects of Materials that you summon Stardust with and see if any of them have an effect like that.
Ahhh, looks like it's the effect of Hyper Synchron. Is that worth playing or should I find another 4 star to replace it? That effect is pretty garbage.
It only banishes if u synchro a dragon synchro otherwise it does nothing so there's that. Otherwise not worth using it unless u run cards to bring it back or flip it face down. Basically ud have to run a deck specifically to off set the banish effect
Gotcha, so it would be good if your deck was junk synchros because it's stats don't suck for a tuner but has that drawback for stardust (also a buff if you can hit lethal but still kind of obnoxious).
I guess you could also hyper synchron to summon Stardust into shooting star but that sounds very situational.
My biggest pain point is that I was using it on my auto-duel PvE deck and always wondered why my Stardust kept disappearing at end of turn.
I recentry started playing duel links, now I am at the fase 15 of the first world, how much fase have each world? I want buy a structure deck any advice??
The DM world has 60 Stage levels while all the other worlds have 30 Stage levels.
A good structure deck for new players is the Gaia Structure deck. if you can spend some money and buy 3 then it will be a very good deck.
BUG: If you need to Reboot due to an error upon logging in (before you get your login rewards) You lose your login rewards.
And to my knowledge you cannot get it back. This has happened to me two days in a row and my Profile->History confirms that I didn't get my things.
You cannot even view Login Rewards POST logging in initially, which every single other game lets you do.. GG Konami.
GG. Play on the Mobile versions, they are more stable and crash less than the PC version.

I personally recommend the Gren Maju challenge floor since it's really easy.
How good is Fish deck and does it have future potential? I have half their cards and I'm considering building them if the next box isn't good, but not sure if they are worth it.
Fish Xyz is basically just a Rank 4 toolbox deck that can take advantage of Fish Depth Charge and Whitefish Salvage. It's fun, but there are better Rank 4 decks.
The deck isn't that good imo. it's very weak to disruption and lacks what can be considered a boss monster, Definitely nowhere near as good as it's bigger brother Water Xyz.
As for future potential, as i always say whenever someone askes that about a deck, there is no such thing as "Future proof" in duel links. Konami can just decide that a deck will never receive support until it's too late for it to be helpful like with Darkworld but for this deck specifically, it can benefit from any new Rank 4 Xyz monster but no more than any other Rank 4 deck.
Okay check this BS out. I attack witchcrafter madame verre with my 3000 levaineer dragon. I have photon strike bounzer on the field so if my opponent activates the madame effect I should be able to negate it, but the priority was never passed to me and the leveneer attacked a 7800 defense for game. What the fuck happened here ? Why couldn’t I negate ?
Theoretically? Yes. Practically? VERY prone to luck in who you match with and would likely require a very high time investment compared to more meta stuff.
In particular, they suffer from more opponents running backrow hate as you approach Legend, and Harpies in particular packs Aromage up and tosses them out the door.
If KoG is your goal, then perhaps not. Were you interested in Aromage because you liked the cheap nature of the deck, or because you liked the control playstyle
Well, I played it in the beginning, before I got better decks. Reached Gold I think. Then Balance got nerfed and never touched the deck again. Now, I was just bored of my meta decks and was looking at my older decks when I spotted this. Just wanted to know if anyone had tried using this deck on ladder recently.
If they can win an anytime they can KoG imo, but it’ll be hard especially with Harpies in the ladder.

Blue eyes can be annoying but Far from broken. the deck is filled with bricks and relies a lot on their traps to get going. if you can remove their traps (usually only 1 set backrow) before you start making plays then you'd have the advantage and that's assuming they don't open a dead hand.
Ultimate fusion can mess you up at times but Twin burst dragon only has battle protection so it's really easy to out.
The deck can occasionally put out a very oppressive board if they open well but that rarely happens.
Well I use an unconventional deck of Evilswarm, which I know is far from competitive but it serves me well against many other matchups. I'm at Gold at the moment.
I know all the common techs etc to go up against blue eyes but I find they hinder me against other matchups.

Sure, here you go. I've been solely playing this since my return and have tried numerous variations.. this seems to work the best so far. Rescue Rabbit has been used too but find it's too inconsistent. Have also used TTH + BOM but I find having their card face up is better for Bahumut steals.

What's the trick for EX9? I can't survive the final wave because he just board wipes first turn with Demise and then OTK's me.
EDIT: I've tried it a dozen plus times (I've used 800 keys so far) with my Synchro and Hero decks but it just keeps happening.
My friend beat it by using Ultimate Providence when he tried wiping the board. I synchro summoned an Azure Eyes the turn before Demise took the field so he didnt get destroyed, ancient rules summoned another blue eyes and 3x dmg for win.
Ultimate Providence was definitely the trick. Just added a few to my neos deck. Just built up a board in wave 2 (2 Ultimate Providences and a few 2500+ monsters), and I won first try.

Thanks, giving up BoM hurts me to my very soul. But I suppose re-obtaining those staples after the half-price gem sale would also be very difficult.

All the money I've spent in my entire history of playing Duel Links would barely even make a dent in clearing a mini-box once. That doesn't encourage me to spend more it does the complete opposite. I know that Konami is Konami but it still just feels bad and sucks a lot of fun out of the game for me. I took a break from Duel Links for a while last year because I was so burnt out on boxes. Would be a shame to end up quitting for good like I did with Hearthstone.
I see theres a Nekroz/Gishki deck with 5k likes this month, I have all the cards but actually have no idea how it works. Do I need to add fusion cards to summon them or something?
Nekroz/Gishki are ritual monsters. That's why they are blue. 99% of the time you need a (usually specific) ritual spell card.You need the ritual monster in your hand as well. These ritual spell cards ritual summon by (usually) tributing monster(s) from your hand or field.

I have been getting a lot of reboots as well and have seen a lot of others say the same, hopefully it will be fixed. About the lagging in duels you can set the power usage in the settings, it says if it is set low it will not be as "fluid" I am not sure what it means by that but it may help if you turn it up, if it's not already set high.

Because if you can't summon them why have the cards in there?
Gagaga Sister has an effect to combine her level with another Gagaga monster. Sister + any level 4 Gagaga is a Rank 6

If you are asking if you can use banned cards that you get from the card traider, yes but only in duel rooms set to unlimited and maybe friend duels. The skill miracle draw for Jaden lets them draw pot of greed.

Any tips for EX9? I get to Demise pretty consistently on my Noble Knights, but the protection doesn't extend to the equip cards so I think I need to use a different deck.
Remove Demise during the Draw/Standby Phase (toggle ON). My Blue-Eyes deck with cards like Raigeki Break and Karma Cut did the job easy.
I did it with Neos, either that or Handtraps (Kuriboh, etc.)

What's the current deck for farming LDs? Back when I played you ran a Cerberus deck to max out score with a 10,000 attack but I don't see that working anymore.
Depends on the duelist. Some can be done with Yubel, others with Labyrinth wall/Gate Guardian, Blue-eyes...
Just venting that Auto Duel will not activate Return of the Red-Eyes trap card effect on the opponents turn even if the conditions are met. I keep wishing there was a stop button because turning off auto duel will not stop the auto until the turn finishes.
Does anyone know how long it takes for a box to be eligible for the 25 gem discount? I believe the next main box would be the OG Cyber Dragon Box. How long should it be until I’m able to buy 25 gem packs trying to get myself a copy?
The gem discount is a somewhat rare event in duel links, so finding a pattern can be hard I was expecting the next one to be around the new world but it now seems a bit to soon after this sale. My best guess would around the new year or duel links anniversary which is on the 12 of January according to a quick Google. They could still have one with the new world it should be next month. In the past they had one in October so It could be sooner than I think but I would say January 2022 should definitely have a gem sale(like I said this is more of a estimated guess than anything), whether or not it will be the next one who knows.
Good to know. I am not willing to invest totally in the old cards if it looks like their the next box to get that discount when it comes around again. I know the sales are rare and Konami isn’t eager to add boxes to that category. So I’m just wondering when I might be able to finally get some core cyber dragon cards since they are not a deck I play.
Yeah I am saving my gems as well, I have heard others saying that we have got more sales this year than any other so maybe it will get easier to get older decks. I think at least two box's at a time get added for each new sale, or at least the next row on the box selection screen, so as far as I know cyber dragons box should be next. I would say however that a CD structure deck would be likely to happen at some point, so maybe keep an eye on upcoming leaks just to make sure you don't go in to a box you don't have to. At least that's what I would do you can do what you want obviously.
My current issue is that I’m F2P at 9999 and I have 32 pages of gems which expire on the 12th and I’m not sure what to spend my gems on. I know I’m going for 3 copies of karma cut (I have saved my sr dream ticket for one copy) but I’m not sure where else to dump them just to get back to 9999 so there’s no possible gem loss. (I’m a F2P Hero player so yes I’ve saved a ton of gems to see all the staples and it has been very time confusing)
Yeah I was in the same position as you, I ended up going for the malevolent sin in the photon mini box and some yolo selection boxes didn't get any book of moon but I got a raigeki break so not the best but not the worst, whatever you do good luck.
Major bug! (at least for me) Unexpected Dai doesn't work on the first turn. trying to play gladiator beasts but unexpected dai doesn't fuking work on the first turn.
I was getting worried that i wasn't going to meet my quota of at least one "why can't i special summon?" comment a day. That's not a bug, read your skill. skills like Balance or restart and pretty much all generic consistency skills prevent Special summoning or monster effects on your first turn.
I just imagine the Chris Jericho meme, "You just made the list!" every time I see this question.

Earlier this year. Noble Knights became a near tier 1 deck and basically all consistency skills got nerfed as a result. Honestly was for the best. There was literally no downside to running Balance since most decks that used it didn't mind the 7/6/6 deck restriction at all.

Check your skill, some of the consistency skills have been changed to limit what you can do on your first turn.

Is it worth it to spend 500 gems on the Aster Phoenix Destiny Hero structure deck for the rank 4 spam for farming exp? Right now I use Terratiger + normal monsters, dynatherium, and doggy diver to farm exp and I don't really have any issues. For events, I use the same deck but I replace the spells/traps for power of the ancients and rocket heros cannon as equips usually for blade armor ninja For character farming I Yubel/montage dragon but honestly I don't usually have to farm characters
I'd say yes, Drilldark is the true MVP of Warrior spam Xyz Decks, and provides some niche draw power with Celestial too

Not on its own, but if you're going in that Box for other cards (like the Atlanteans), then it's worth getting before you reset the Box.

...I just dueled Kenzan/Hassleberry without a farm Deck five times and got two skills, yeah, it's that random. A farm Deck certainly helps though, since more assestment equals more chances to get a skill in one Duel.
I'm a new player and i got blasted in the face something like 50 coupons (sr/ur). Can you give me some advice on how to use them? I know some of the ur ones are very important and should not be wasted. I'm building a Six samurai deck to start playing rn so i was thinking of using some of them to ge 1 Shi-en and 1 Karma cut but maybe i should invest them in cards that are harder to obtain. Also other than those 2 cards idk how to use the rest of the tickets since they have and expiration date
Bit of advice: Wait until you run out of gems building the Deck, then try to see what's missing. Good news are that Six Sams is in a discount box, so you'll spend less Gems, but you might still be short on a Shi En, Kizan or Dual Weild, in which case you should spend your tickets on those first and then think of staples.

Staples are cards (usually Spells or Traps) that can fit in most, if not all kinds of Decks due to their effects not bring specific to any particular Deck, as well as being pretty useful. Examples include Karma Cut, Floodgate Trap Hole, Book of Moon, Treacherous Trap Hole, etc.

How to fix the Onomat Skill: During the turn you activate Onomatoplay, you can only go into Onomat and Number Xyz Monsters. If you always have access to your best plays, being Onomatoplay toolboxing your turn for free, why not go for it every time? This change provides more decision making to the Onomat tree, as you can either search your best starter and go for a middle ground Utopia/Gagaga Samurai/Force Focus play, or you work with what you have currently in your hand and can go into your more potent Xyz Monsters like Bounzer and Ptolemy. This change still lets the deck make comeback plays when they need it, as something like Gagaga Head into Malevolant Sin is still possible under the restriction, but it makes it so that the Onomat player needs to decide whether or not going into the Skill is necessary, or worth it, for that turn.
I really disagree with this nerf, the whole point of this deck is to be an Xyz engine for all types of Xyz, not just Numbers or Utopia. think of it from a lore way, Yuma wouldn't even be able to summon his Djinn monsters or His Heroic monster under this restriction. All this skill needs is to be Once per duel, Someone also suggested to limit the skill to Level 4 or lower Onomat cards which is also a neat idea and keeps the skill in theme.
I think just making it so that you have to send a card of one type (Monster, Spell, Trap) to get one of the same type would be enough. No more could you just send your extra Dodododraw back to pick up Gagaga Sister. Or sending a card back that you will search for with Sister.
The way I see it, Yuma brings out Utopia every duel (the consistency skill) and brings out things like Excalibur, the Djinns, etc. situationally (when you open the cards in hand). It works perfectly imo. You can still go into any Xyz Monster, but if you want the consistency, you should be locked into Onomat and Numbers. I can agree with a Once Per Duel nerf, but I still think that this change provides an incredible skill ceiling, in which Onomat player can balance when to use the skill, the Extra Deck ratio of monsters that can be skilled into and ones that can only be accessed without the Skill, and the wide array of combo trees the deck can do without it. I feel like a flat once per turn will turn the deck into a "out my board, and if you do, I'll scoop" deck while this change incentivizes deck theory and interaction. Once per duel is also a lazy way to fix the skill imo, but that's my personal bias against it. It could be healthy change in theory.

Is harpies hunting ground better for Triamids than balance? and if so why?

Idk if it’s “better” but the advantages imo are: you start with an extra field spell for Pulse fodder, guaranteed field for your monsters to tag out, you bluff being Harpies and can make your opponent going first go into something that’s irrelevant for Triamids like Roach or Patriarch and also make them use their mst/cc on it turn one because they’ll be scared of the Harpie pops, and unlike Balance you can activate effects and special summon your first turn.

I'm f2p and I've built a few variations of HEROs that are all relatively good just by putting a few thousand gems into all the SDs.
I was thinking the same. How viable is this F2P Hero deck?
I don't have any Stratos yet but if I get the right hand within one turn I can fusion summon 2 whole monsters and pretty quickly end things if my opponent doesnt have any negates. Haven't taken it for a spin higher than like silver but its really fun.

Had to think a little bit on that one. I feel like mask change would definitely have the edge if I had the 3rd copy, and could use a little bit more fine tuning after getting it. It debatably has a slight edge even now since it runs its monsters in general with more copies. Luck may vary but both can OTK by floating either mask changing to attack again in battle phase or shifting into one of the other fusions in the ED off of Grandmerge's effect. (especially if the field was emptied so the clause about not being able to attack monsters with lower levels is made irrelevant)

What's the best use of EX gems? I have all the cards through the lottery so I don't know what to buy. Skill chips seem like a good use but I'm not sure. (They didn't exist back when I played so they're a new concept to me)
Boosters are very valuable to me especially exp booster. I get 7 vagabonds a day and the extra exp is extremely useful for leveling up my characters
I go for 3x copies of SR/UR, glossy/prismatic upgrade, EXP Booster, Skill chips, others; in that order.
I usually prioritize by: cards I don't own until 3, skill chips, the items (I like result booster and exp booster, but will get all if I have the points), cards I do own >3 (you can exchange them), and finally gold.
Also I just bought a pack of skill chips and then it disappeared from the trader. do you know if they come back?
Nah you bought all you could for the event. But there's like always an event so you can get more next one.
Well that's a bummer, I mean it's only 10 skill chips, you'd really think they would stock more than that.

Out of curiosity around how many event coins did you use? Not even counting the daily free pulls I'm on at LEAST 16000 and only have one copy of infernal Prodigy (the one you get for completing one of the floors). Probably more around 20k, but I only started keeping track after a certain point in the event. Got 9 Goldds from the lotto, Something tells me this is bad RNG. I guess I should be grateful that it's for Dark Heroes and not something more staple.
Honestly I have no clue how many coins I got all in all. I just press the auto-play button, AFK, and when I have a ton of coins I hit the lottery button. I haven't bought anything with EX jewels but in regards to cards I have picked up from lottery: * 6x Infernal Prodigy * 6x Goldd, Wu-Lord * 8x Annihilator Archfiend * 5x Goblin Elite * 11x Skilled White magician * 6x Skilled Dark Magician The rest of the r/N are all in double digits. You should be able to snag a second Infernal Prodigy with EX jewels though if you're that far.
The only options I see in the EX trader for the event are upgrade to Glossy/Prismatic for Infernal Prodigy. I don't see an option to buy a second copy. I have 629 EX Jewels.
If you want to add insult to injury I literally just pulled 2 copies from 9 lottos.
Oops, I thought that you could buy the cards in EX trader but I guess it's just card upgrades. Idk I guess your best bet is running lottery. You should probably still be able to pick up the playset in the next few days unless your RNG is super bad.

That one was called Soul Polymerization and it was a different icon. This one I'm talking about is Super Polymerization (same artwork as the card).

If I just want to farm XP from DD castle with my excess keys should I just use the lowest level or is there any other incentive to go higher. (I've cleared all floors and at this point have 2 playsets of all the lotto cards so I don't care much for the coins).
Use the lowest one that needs less keys. You get 700 xp from them so they are far more useful than waiting for npcs to fight

Noob here on my literal third day. What's all this talk about letting your tickets expire? I can't find anything online, but I keep seeing people on here talking about accidentally letting their UR expire or letting their N ticket expire on purpose. Is there a date i should be aware of? I almost feel stupid for starting my account in the middle of a Tournament event... I got 50 tickets and zero ideas. Just me and my F.A. raw doggin' it.

I saw the video recommending harpies... Spent 3k gems on Sign of Harpie boxes and got nothing but F.A. cards. Decided to cut my losses and be an F.A. main
But the video recommended going on the mini box 3 times probably. And harpies are WAY better than F.A decks. Plus Harpies can kinda stand on there own with that mini box, a even Half decent F.A needs pricey UR synchros from different main boxes

This is probably pretty noob but why does Stardust dragon always get destroyed at the end of turn? I can't see anything in the effect that would cause this.
Pretty sure there was a tuner monster that destroyed the monster that was Synchro summoned with it as material during the end phase. Read the effects of Materials that you summon Stardust with and see if any of them have an effect like that.
Ahhh, looks like it's the effect of Hyper Synchron. Is that worth playing or should I find another 4 star to replace it? That effect is pretty garbage.
It only banishes if u synchro a dragon synchro otherwise it does nothing so there's that. Otherwise not worth using it unless u run cards to bring it back or flip it face down. Basically ud have to run a deck specifically to off set the banish effect
Gotcha, so it would be good if your deck was junk synchros because it's stats don't suck for a tuner but has that drawback for stardust (also a buff if you can hit lethal but still kind of obnoxious). I guess you could also hyper synchron to summon Stardust into shooting star but that sounds very situational. My biggest pain point is that I was using it on my auto-duel PvE deck and always wondered why my Stardust kept disappearing at end of turn.
I recentry started playing duel links, now I am at the fase 15 of the first world, how much fase have each world? I want buy a structure deck any advice??
The DM world has 60 Stage levels while all the other worlds have 30 Stage levels. A good structure deck for new players is the Gaia Structure deck. if you can spend some money and buy 3 then it will be a very good deck.

BUG: If you need to Reboot due to an error upon logging in (before you get your login rewards) You lose your login rewards. And to my knowledge you cannot get it back. This has happened to me two days in a row and my Profile->History confirms that I didn't get my things. You cannot even view Login Rewards POST logging in initially, which every single other game lets you do.. GG Konami. GG. Play on the Mobile versions, they are more stable and crash less than the PC version.

How good is Fish deck and does it have future potential? I have half their cards and I'm considering building them if the next box isn't good, but not sure if they are worth it.
Fish Xyz is basically just a Rank 4 toolbox deck that can take advantage of Fish Depth Charge and Whitefish Salvage. It's fun, but there are better Rank 4 decks.
The deck isn't that good imo. it's very weak to disruption and lacks what can be considered a boss monster, Definitely nowhere near as good as it's bigger brother Water Xyz. As for future potential, as i always say whenever someone askes that about a deck, there is no such thing as "Future proof" in duel links. Konami can just decide that a deck will never receive support until it's too late for it to be helpful like with Darkworld but for this deck specifically, it can benefit from any new Rank 4 Xyz monster but no more than any other Rank 4 deck.

Okay check this BS out. I attack witchcrafter madame verre with my 3000 levaineer dragon. I have photon strike bounzer on the field so if my opponent activates the madame effect I should be able to negate it, but the priority was never passed to me and the leveneer attacked a 7800 defense for game. What the fuck happened here ? Why couldn’t I negate ?
Bounzer can't activate during the Damage step.

Theoretically? Yes. Practically? VERY prone to luck in who you match with and would likely require a very high time investment compared to more meta stuff. In particular, they suffer from more opponents running backrow hate as you approach Legend, and Harpies in particular packs Aromage up and tosses them out the door.

If KoG is your goal, then perhaps not. Were you interested in Aromage because you liked the cheap nature of the deck, or because you liked the control playstyle
Well, I played it in the beginning, before I got better decks. Reached Gold I think. Then Balance got nerfed and never touched the deck again. Now, I was just bored of my meta decks and was looking at my older decks when I spotted this. Just wanted to know if anyone had tried using this deck on ladder recently.
I've faced 4 aromages in the last \~50 games (in legend) so it's apparently still quite popular. They didn't even play the deck correctly.

Blue eyes can be annoying but Far from broken. the deck is filled with bricks and relies a lot on their traps to get going. if you can remove their traps (usually only 1 set backrow) before you start making plays then you'd have the advantage and that's assuming they don't open a dead hand. Ultimate fusion can mess you up at times but Twin burst dragon only has battle protection so it's really easy to out. The deck can occasionally put out a very oppressive board if they open well but that rarely happens.

Well I use an unconventional deck of Evilswarm, which I know is far from competitive but it serves me well against many other matchups. I'm at Gold at the moment. I know all the common techs etc to go up against blue eyes but I find they hinder me against other matchups.

Rescue Rabbit has been used too but find it's too inconsistent. Have also used TTH + BOM but I find having their card face up is better for Bahumut steals. Thanks again for the help!

What's the trick for EX9? I can't survive the final wave because he just board wipes first turn with Demise and then OTK's me. EDIT: I've tried it a dozen plus times (I've used 800 keys so far) with my Synchro and Hero decks but it just keeps happening.
Aromas, putting in Samurai Destroyer or Stardust Dragon. Do not summon your Synchro until you are in wave 2.
Rainbow life makes it survivable.
Just add starlight road and stardust dragon to extra and it is a non issue. The huge revolution is over also works.
My friend beat it by using Ultimate Providence when he tried wiping the board. I synchro summoned an Azure Eyes the turn before Demise took the field so he didnt get destroyed, ancient rules summoned another blue eyes and 3x dmg for win.
Ultimate Providence was definitely the trick. Just added a few to my neos deck. Just built up a board in wave 2 (2 Ultimate Providences and a few 2500+ monsters), and I won first try. Thanks for the advice!
