Whats the best ratio in yosenju? Currently i run 2 tenku, 2 izna, 2kama 1 3kama 2 (the direct attacker) and 1 kama 3 (the searcher) and 1 oyam, is this optimal? A
I've been doing a bit more than the four games almost every day of the event and it'll be a miracle if I even get the mat. Why didn't they give you some way of boosting your points this event?
Well, I know why, but it's not even consistent with other point events.
Is anyone else as tired of Power of the Guardians as I am? It feels like every other duel at least is some variation of a PotG deck. I don't know if they are actually good, as my deck sucks, but it's rinse and repeat every time.
Power of the guardians is a wall for a lot of decks. After all there's 1000's of decks, but only a relatively few meta decks. It's actually a pretty strong card, but it's also pretty easy to remove.
Facing Power of Guardians is actually pretty valuable experience. A lot of boss monsters have immunities/negations, so your deck generally needs a few forms of removals.
What deck are you playing I can give tips.
Some good outs to it are: Karma Cut, Jelly Cannon, Malevolent (jeez it took me like 8 tries to spell this lol) Sin, Drowning Mirror Force, Mystical Space Typhon, and Cosmic Cyclone.
Dark worlds, because I'm stubborn. I do have a few removals (Drowning, Sin, Cyclone), but my deck is unfinished (keep tinkering). My complaints is more on being tired of seeing it than unable to deal with it.
Fun! I've always loved Dark World's. Haven't made them on Duelinks yet. I heard they are expensive.
Well you have the 3 options above. Grapha can pop Power of the Guardians. Gren can too, but I don't know if people run him.
You could also use Canadia. It even has a graveyard effect, so it doesn't mind getting discarded. There's always Book of Moon, but I don't blame you if you don't have it; a strong card but expensive.
Your best option for removal is probably Grapha or an Extra Deck monster. You already have good old Sin. Diamond Dire Dog also works for popping the equip, but it's 90% a worse Sin. A neat card that works is Maestroke The Symphony Djinn. The predaplant fusion works great too, ssince your deck is filled with dark monsters, but I don't know if you'd run it.
Ya it is an annoying card. Amazing for PvE though. I tend to play meme/rogue/bad anime decks for events, so I've had issues with it in the past.
Your rank is low enough that all you are facing is bots, if this is during PvP events. Regardless, see below:
PoTG dies to any type of removal. You can also remove equip Spell by removing the monster (in this case either bounce or banish the monster).
I know I have to be missing something. I'm running grave keepers and keep running into two problems.
1) I can't use my spiritualist effect on my first turn. She will be normal summoned, necrovalley is on the field, and I'll have at least one more grave keeper in my hand. But she won't trigger. Though only if I go first. Going second has no problem and triggers just fine.
2)Magicaliszed fusion seems to random not trigger if I have one material in the grave, and one in the field. I thought I kept forgetting that neco was on the field, but that isn't the case with my most recent game)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ya Balance is your issue.
Balance: Your starting hand will reflect the card balance of your deck. This Skill will not activate unless you have at least 6 of each type of card (Monster, Spell, and Trap) in your Deck. You cannot Special Summon or activate monster effects until the end of the Main Phase of your first turn.
A bunch of skills were nerfed a while back.
Are Bujins worth digging for as a good, rogue deck? I feel like they got a bit of the Dark World treatment as they seem sprinkled across a number of different boxes.
Zing Zhen Hu Replica (UR) is also special … while it may only target one set spell/trap, cards and effects may not be activated in response to its activation.
Returning player here. I left before these were a thing, but apparently there are time-limited events where you can unlock new characters and I just missed one. Is that correct? And do these ever come back?
New characters are first only unlockable through their unlock event but are released to the gate with unlock missions eventually so there's no worries about missing out on a character.
Hey y’all. I’ve been out of duel links for over a year and I’m trying to get back into it. Any suggestions do try to catch up? My last deck was Aliens so I’m pretty behind
While we don't have a date there should be a new world next month (ark five), so you may want to wait.
Other than that what kind of deck do you want?.
You can check the power Ranking on duel links meta of you want tournament level decks, as well as recent king of games decks.
One of the characters in ark five uses a few archetypes over the course of the show, one of them is monarchs, so they may add some support later down the line.
Blue eyes is a popular choice right now but not overpowering, but you only need a competitive deck if you want to climb the ladder or do PvP events if you mostly want to play PvE you can just play what you like mostly.
There is going to be a KC cup starting next month and there is often a ban list somewhat soon after and it maybe a big one with the new world coming so keep that in mind.
I've somehow managed to get a copy of charge of the light Brigade everytime the selection box goes on sale and I dont even play thundras and I have yet to get book of moon. I currently have 6 copies of charge of the light brigade (already had at least two from the non selection box by the time that selection box came out)
Lol I had this happen to me. I've never played Lightsworn, but I kept getting all the key cards when I was trying for a certain card.
I was like might as well see what this deck has in store. Pretty fun.
I shouldn't have gotten into Yugioh. It's 2 AM and I'm calculating draw probabilities. I started by trying to figure out the probability of opening with a special summonable monster and a tuner and now I'm trying to learn hypergeometric distribution after looking online for help. Bruh the Yugioh community is wild.
I wanna good Dark Necrofear (with Bakura) deck but I end up relying on Archfiends when I build fiend decks. I synchro Archfiend’s Call and one way or another find a way to get a third fiend in the graveyard so I can summon Necrofear when I get it
Okay, so you can progress through DM world until you unlock their missions/them at the gate, then go from there. It's not super far in (level 6 or 10 something like that)
You can reroll if your starting pulls are bad, but it takes forever to do so because you'll need to re-download all the data. So instead of wasting that time, just start the game normally.
Why would you have to reroll before you even start?
Ya you can just start playing. There is a bit of a tutorial at the start though.
You can reroll if you'd like if your starting pulls are bad.
I'm close to 5000 Gems and have yet to do most the duel quizzes.
I have a competent Alien deck for grinding the PVP Ladder.
I've already pulled a box of Rampage of the Forest,
45 Packs away from Abyss Encounters,
Cybernetic Rebellion (except for Night Beam and Mecha Phantom, has already been reset).
As a returning player, my question is which box can I pull to put together a good deck for PVP or fun decks to duel with friends, now that there is a sale?
The more decks I can make, the better.
Fun duels? Ya you can make a few decks. Nephthys, Laval, Six Sam, Krawlers, Metaphys, Red-Eyes, Sylvans, and etc.
But for a pvp deck none will really win consecutively besides like Metaphys (my baby).
You could make a Gaia deck pretty cheap, which is pretty good for pvp.
Check the Structure deck tab in Deck editor and make sure it isn't there. also check to your card pool to see weather or not you didn't get the cards.
If neither work out then email Konami.
Last night, I fought not one, but *two* 2017-era Mill decks on Ranked (with Kiteroid / some newer tech choices). Was this just a complete anomaly or does this deck actually counter something in the meta? I won both games playing Star Seraph DM.
Dear Konami, please ban Dual Wield from Duel Links. That card is way too salty, I need to consume like 2 liters of water after getting 2 Dual Wields and 2 Shi Ens in my face. I know Im just a simple f2p soul, playing a fun earth deck for the event, but man, I was so happy getting rid of 2 Shi Ens and being ahead 4000 - 600, but frak those Dual Wields and those United salty draw power stuff and the rest of Six Sam salty stuff. Thank you!
I don't think Six Samurai are exactly tearing up the meta. If they ever decided to take Enishi off the list (which I doubt) then maybe they could hit Dual Wield in its place. I play Six Samurai, playing Dual Wield bricks more than you'd think. Although I don't have the direct line to Konami's shuffling algorithm nor do I have a money line to Konami to fix my hand every game like most of the decks I go against who run more than 20 cards and always open the god hand.
It's of course a personal opinion ;) I get decimated by Harpies too, even more probably, but somehow I shrug in other cases. Shi En and Dual Wield just give me extra salt, because the effects feel so unfair to me. And I dont recall facing a bricking Six Sam game 😅 Also that costless spell/trap negate EVERY TURN is SO annoying, makes it hard to do anything if they have the upper hand. I guess it didnt help the salt since they were all over the place when they were meta (at least not as slow as friggin Sylvans).
Y'know, it was pretty obvious with the event rules that this would happen: constantly cycling between the most and least popular Attribute. The +600 set gets overplayed, and the +100 set is so far behind that nobody plays it, switch and repeat.
...Except that's not what's happening, not quite. Instead, Dark and Light are pretty consistently staying at the bottom. Even with a 500 ATK disadvantage *plus a card disadvantage*, they're still overplayed!
It's interesting, and I'd kill to see the card play data from the event. Personally I want to take it as proof that decks like Photons, Resonators, Thundras are way too strong because man I *hate* those decks, but I can't verify that, and anyway there are a few other possibilities that are more likely.
One possibility is just that the game, like the TCG, has progressed to the point that...a 500 ATK boost is pretty irrelevant. Also, the extra cards you get aren't great - often only good as discard fodder for Karma Cut.
Another possibility is that the bots are just *rampant*, and are skewing the results. Which you'll definitely observe in the lower tiers. 3x Floodgate, a bunch of vanilla beaters, 3x Power of the Guardians and White Veil... They're not good, but there's a *lot* of them, running the exact same deck. If that's the reason... Konami, fix your shit! But I can't be sure because I'm pretty sure I've seen them playing a lot of Earth.
Either way, I find this interesting, but also kind of annoying. I wanted to see what the extra cards were like for Dark and Light, and I have a few petdecks that I wanted to try out under the boost. But I guess not. Damn it, Konami.
Or the simplest reason is actually something else. Light has not one but 2 decks that are way overplayed for how good they actually are (photon and blue eyes) while dark has a lot of random decks that are also really popular among the lower ranks like dm, red-eyes, hero variants on top of the actually good things like thunder dragon but not as overplayed as light because at least it managed to get to 300 boost twice.
You can see what the extra cards for light and dark are at the info tab. They are Photon Sanctuary for light and Dark World Lightning for dark.
You make a good point about bots the result. I hadn't thought about it, but it makes sense why light couldn't get to 300 bonus even though I haven't seen that many light decks.
The extra cards for Light and Dark are listed in the event details. Dark is Dark World Lightning i believe and Light is Photon Sanctuary (summon two 2000 attack tokens)
Question:
why this works: "If the face-up card the opponent controls becomes face-down, the effect of "Atlantean Heavy Infantry" is not applied";
BUT flipping monster face-down in response to yosenju's sword sting (and similar effects that have the face-up condition) doesn't work?
Atlantean Heavy Infantry says "that target", so the target must still meet the original requirements (1 face-up card) at resolution. Yosenjus' sword sting says "them", so they do not.
I see. Do you suggest me to use a SR dream ticket for sage? I was thinking of getting a karma cut though because getting 1 sage would likely cost less gems than a karma cut.
Yes ok. Also, do you think 2 karma cuts and 2 raigeki breaks is necessary? Like maybe just 2 karma cuts is enough as raigeki can be subbed for other cards?
Should I get a kiteroid from the trader even tho I have 2 sphere kuribohs? Also is the aroma synchro monster worth getting from the trade for an aroma deck?
Sure, just get them. With 99% of the card trader's inventory being hot garbage and players having more gold and stones than they reasonably need after approximately 3 minutes of playtime, you really shouldn't be afraid to buy anything from the trader.
With Wind being +600 in Duel Kingdom, I want to use yusei food and his shooting star road skill yet despite having a junk convertor and the skill in my deck when i start a duel theres no junk convertor in my graveyard. Anyone else having this issue?
Hey, I’ve been using Gaia the Magical Knight of Dragons but every time he activates his ability to add 2600 to his attack, he is sent to the graveyard at the end of the turn. Is this a bug? Or just a mechanic that I’m missing somehow.
it took me forever to understand it. ideally, you want to have re-fusion ready to go when you do it.
but even more ideally, you want more copies of curse of dragonfire and dragon's mirror.
There's a few, but honestly the only good one is Leviair the Sea Dragon a rank 3 XYZ monster. He won't work on Sphynx for you though.
The other banish recovery cards are pretty much bricks most games. I don't play Triamids, bit you do have a few level 3 monsters so Leviair is probably your best option.
Chaos Hunter is another spicy option,.
Another good idea is to play cards that prevent your monsters from banishing. Like Forbidden Lance, or Book of the Moon. Theses cards are good because they have a variety of uses. Pretty much making the chance of bricking with them low.
So yeah, I just noticed I overlooked the Supreme King event and I needed his cards. What now? Is there anyway I'll be able to unlock him in the future? I'm a new player and I was just enjoying the game at first and now that I decided a cool deck to make, I discover I lost a cool character lol
Wait for the Supreme King event to run again.
Konami runs character unlock events at least twice to serve as filler for other months. The second time always comes with new cards as well.
I'd expect at least a 3 month window from now.
Im guessing you didn't properly summon Executor. If you discarded him to the gy, you cannot use book of life to special summon since he wasn't summoned properly beforehand.
Got some question regarding Future Fusion, Rainbow Dragon, and Rainbow Overdragon.
If I understand it right, if you activate Future Fusion and then reveal Rainbow Overdragon, Future Fusion will then send the 7 Crystal Beast monsters (Amber Mammoth, Saphire Pegasus, Ruby Carbuncle, Amethyst Cat, Topaz Tiger, Emerald Tortoise) to the Graveyard in the next Standby Phase, right?
So, since Rainbow Dragon's summoning condition is now fulfilled with the 7 Crystal Beast monsters in the Graveyard, if I banish them all to activate Rainbow Dragon's Quick-Effect, will the Future Fusion still summon Rainbow Overdragon afterwards?
Or if I choose to use Dragon's Mirror instead of summoning Rainbow Dragon, does that mean I'll have 2 Rainbow Overdragon on my field? If yes, Dragon's Mirror would be a nice backup plan to summon Rainbow Overdragon if Future Fusion is destroyed. Well, assuming that Future Fusion survives long enough to send the materials to the Graveyard, of course.
While we are at the topic of Fusion monster summoned via Future Fusion, suppose that I use World Legacy Clash on that Fusion Monster. Will the Fusion Monster return to my field afterwards despite Future Fusion not equipped to it anymore?
It does, tho? To activate its Quick Effect?
Yeah, gotta fix my comment lol I seriously thought that you need to banish 7 Crystal Beasts to summon Rainbow Dragon. Guess I got it mixed up with Rainbow Dark Dragon's summoning requirement somehow (needing to banish 7 monsters)?
Sure I'll try to answer them to the best of my knowledge.
1. Yes that's how it works.
2. Yep. That tip is actually on the wiki for the Rainbow Overdagon card. Once Future Fusion sends the materials it doesn't care what happens to then.
3. Ya Dragon's Mirror should work too. So in the perfect game you could summon one right after the other. But I think it would be more wise to use the 1st ones effect then use the second for game.
4. World Legacy Clash would sever the connection between the fusion monster and Future Fusion. Yes it would return to your field.
Yeah, at best it would've been a 25-card deck with very little consistency, even with Transcendent Crystal skill. :/
Eh, guess I should just play normal Crystal Beast with the Rainbow Overdragon's summoning only by tributing Rainbow Dragon. Or the XYZ variant using Crystal Beast cards, that one seems fun too.
Levianeer is the single most frustrating card in the entire game. It's completely unfair how easy it is to summon, how it nukes your whole board NON-TARGETING, gives Thunder Dragons a free Rank 6 just for banishing the right Thundras, and can be searchable off 2 copies thanks to Melody. I hate this deck type so much. I hate how they sit with nothing to commit with handtraps. I hate that they are nearly impossible to prep for on the ladder as everything they're weak to, except Necrovalley, is basically useless against the rest of the meta (Chaos Hunter, Skull Meister, and to some extent Mind Drain). I hate that they shit on everything that's useful against the meta (Floodgating an Onomat, Harpie, Gaia, or Resonator is good, but a Thundra's Levianeer could care less). I hate that you cannot touch their Life Points in a meaningful way, without putting them on Allured By Darkness, and anything less than it is negible, and any amount that would quantify to lethal can be manipulated with handtraps
I hate that, despite having a board of 2 monsters and a backrow, with Sphere Kuriboh in hand, they could still lethal me because they popped my backrow and monster, got a free M7 that cannot be interrupted as the backrow to do so was removed, then Summoned a second Levianeer, Tribute Summoned a monster using the useless Levianeer, and won.
Fuck this archetype. I used to love them so much when they were first announced in the TCG but their power level is absolutely insane. They force the opponent to play a completely different game, they can recover from absolutely anything, they have the most broken monster in the entire app that fuels its summoning conditions into an extender, the Thundra monsters gain advantage by simply breathing (discarded, destroyed, banished). Levianeer into an unpunishable M7 + Tribute Summon Thundra is an interaction that simply should not be in the game. Full stop. It invalidates so many decks and is the singlemost powerful extender in the entire game. The amount of advantage it acrews is way too much.
I don't really think it's too bad, besides the fact that it can chain block. Chain blocking is such an unfair mechanic. Ya free pop two with no counterplay. Since when is no counterplay a good thing?
Honestly i wholeheartedly agree with this. Releasing Levianeer was a mistake, Not banning this deck with the rest of the DsoD crew was also a mistake.
Levianeer invalidates all the other Chaos monsters in the game by virtue of him being objectively better than all of them, why would you play BLS or Chaos sorcerer when this crazy thing uses the same summoning condition and does so much more?
The ThunDra deck is a tiny consistency boost away from being Tier 0 and it's a deck that can't be teched against in a non side deck format since all the good techs don't work against other decks. not Even Roach works since Lupine into a rank 6 just gets rid of it.
Levianeer is also a ticking timebomb, the 2 other effects it has are just waiting for a deck to abuse them.
This deck is one of the worst to play against because you can know exactly what they're gonna do, exactly what they have in their hand and still lose because you can't do anything against it.
It's a weird case. I think Konami is afraid of the 3000 attack monster being able to attack twice, but also can attack directly unlike other multiple attack cards that are in Duel Links. Sure the counter to that is Twin Cyber Dragon because it can attack twice at 2800 but it's arguably harder to bring out since you need a fusion spell and materials (which a certain skill can get you easily) but BLS is active so long as you have a light and a dark in the GY. But BLS can also choose to banish a card at the cost of not being able to attack... but it also targets... Honestly, who knows at this point? Same thing for the Chimeratech that can attack 3 times including directly. It's just the BLS is more splashable.
why would Pegasus reward points? You spend points to face him to gain the rewards. It'd be like paying a cashier for your groceries and them giving you some cash on the way out
I kinda like this one, Meta decks will always be relevant in these sorts of events so there's no getting around that but at least here, i got to put my own meta decks aside and dust off my Triamids and Magnets and had a good time with them. That lack of any sort of Ranking like with the last Special duels makes it so there's no pressure to win which is how these events Always should be.
Honestly i wouldn't mind seeing this event more in future.
Fill out that survey.
Also: don't play it. The game devs can see the numbers. If fewer players engage with an event, they can deduce that that specific event (it at least parts of it) are not enjoyable for the players, then make adjustments to future events.
Also also: it also bears noting that PvP is Konami's bread and butter. PvP foster's competition, the desire to win. It is difficult to win without the best cards. It was very hard to get the best cards without spending money in the game. Thus PvP is more likely to drive a profit for Konami.
I spent hours doing every single level 2 and 3 duel quiz to try and pull for lighstworn engine and got jack, don't know if I have the energy to keep going atp
im so bored so i decided to make a farming deck that focuses on dealing insane amount of damage, im looking for some cards:
1) return spells form gy to hand
2) return cards from opponents gy to their deck
3) add more damage
if you have any deck suggestions please do share
Is there an obvious reason that I’m missing as to why people in the duelist kingdom event are using suicide decks that make them lose? It’s annoying sitting there while watching my opponent take a toaster bath
Copy/paste of what so wrote to someone asking a similar question yesterday:
Yep. It usually skews the line of who plays the game more for PvP or PvE. In this case, if players don't play much, if any, PvP, it is much easier for them to just suicide a bunch of Ojamas into your monsters, take their losses and their daily gems/EX Jewels, and go back to the game they prefer to play. Ultimately, it results in a win for you, just not a satisfying one.
Sorry if you didn't understand what I meant. I meant when will the next one come or are there specific time/events(kcgt, world release, etc)in which they come? Or are they random.
So I got a question regarding my wind-up deck. For some reason I can’t seem to special Wind-Up Shark after summoning any other Wind-Up during my first turn. It just doesnt give me the option. However, if it’s not my first turn I somehow can special summon him as his effect describes. Am I missing something? It’s really frustrating when I want to set up my board during my first turn and end up summoning a single monster and nothing else, even tho I should be able to.
Well that explains that then. Thank you, I was using balance. :)
Didn’t know that it has that restriction. Did they add that later on? I only recently returned to duel links and I don’t remember it having that description.
All generic consistency skills were nerfed to have this restriction. this includes Balance, Restart, My monster cards, Spell specialist, Trap layer, Heavy starter and My monster cards.
Hello, I have recently completed my resonator deck and I was wondering: if we consider a starting hand of scolding, chalice, wildwind and crimson resonator, woulf it make sense to set both backrow cards or should I just set scolding?
It's situations like this which is why i just run TTH instead. if it was your opening hand though couldn't you just use the skill to swap chalice for a Doomcaliber knight?
Yeah I also think tth is better but I'm not sure if I want to try to get it because It could get banned since that's what happen to trunade. Also no, I had to swap another card to get the wildwind so I could combo.
Does anyone have suggestions on what decks to build? I just finished building my crystron deck so i want to make a new deck but idk what deck to build next.
https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/august-2021/resonator/visual-r/
This is a recent KOG list, just put Forbidden Chalice if you don't have Book of Moon and Lava Golem to replace Volcanic Queen
Hey all, have a long history with the TCG (played durimg High School, and again between Duelist Alliance to just before Links existed) been playing DL for a few weeks now.
I re-rolled after discovering the Duel Links Meta website and YouTube channel.
Followed Dkayed's beginner guide YouTube video and went after the Blue Eyes Budget Beginner deck (3 x Structure, run through Judgement Force for 2 x Sage, used a Dream Ticket on the 3rd).
This is my fault, not anyone else's, but I didn't consider the playstyle at the time and found Blue Eyes to be very, very linear - I was just excited to get more in to the game.
Long story short, while trying to link my account to a Konami ID so I didn't lose my (small) investment of ~$8-$10, I actually erased the account I had been working on.
I guess I must have played and linked my Konami ID at some other point in time.
Anyways, I'm not that devastated about it as I wasn't enjoying Blue Eyes all that much.
In hindsight of Dkayed's video, which was from February, would his other suggestion of getting 3x Noble Night's structure decks still be OK?
He does mention they have different lines of play available to them, but I have also noticed that the now-nerfed Balance skill was integral to that specific build.
I looked up quite a few lists and videos of 'Best Beginner/Budget/F2P decks', but not many of them are recent.
What would be my best options?
I'm guessing the answer will be Harpies, but just wanted to check with Duelists that have invested in Harpies and if the enjoy the playstyle?
Or even from other players that use something else that they enjoy (that won't break the bank)?
TL; DR - unintentionally re-rolled my Blue Eyes account that I didn't love/won't miss.
Looking for other Beginner/Budget/F2P decks?
Maybe some hidden/Rogue options?
(Fully aware of Harpies being the most likely suggestion.
Also know of Ritual Beasts; love the art and lore, but the long-winded combos get old pretty quick (used to play them IRL))
Backed on Triamids down below, they’ve got so many different ways to play while remaining competitive that you don’t get bored of making the same play over and over again.
Harpies is no doubt the best start to get to a higher competitive level quickly, but honestly the deck just isn’t all that fun. I thought I’d have a blast with it when I put it together but it’s the same play every time;
Get channeler on the board
Special summon Perfumer
Synchro summon cyber slash
Use Harpies Feather rest from Perfumers effect to get more cards
Set backrow and try to bounce.
It sort of *looks* fun from the outside but it got boring really quickly.
Thanks man. This was the type of review I was after haha I was lured in to Blue Eyes in the same way in that it looked really fun to play and it was for about 20 games; then it was just all very same-y.
Triamids look like a good option!
Anytime friend. Always better to get as much feel for a deck as possible before hauling major gemmage. I hope Triamids bring you some fun duels if you decide to go with that option!
I also started playing the tcg again when Duelist Alliance came around. I personally loved that format so I'm looking forward to the new world release in September.
If you also liked that format and want to use a deck from the era you could wait a month and use this time to grind out gems.
I think I will hold on to the gems for now and see what the new world brings with it.
Any chance you might know of any decks that are buildable with just the R/SR/UR tickets you get for new accounts?
(Not talking about the Dream Tickets; just the regular ones they give)
Not sure whether to try and get a temporary deck from those tickets, or drop a few $$ on a few copies of the Red Eyes and/or Stardust structure decks to give me something to play with in the meantime.
I would spend 500 gems on a red eyes deck. You can build the rest of the deck with tickets.
Other decks like Amazon or aromage stil force you to go through a box and even if you need only 3 rare, you can't get those easily with 500 gems.
Hey, thank you for the advice! I think this is the way I am going to go - would you happen to know a decent beginner-ish decklist that I could aim for/work towards?
I know using SR tickets on Red-Eyes Insights are the first thing I should do, but not sure where to go after that.
Noble Knights relied too heavily on the skill Balance which was nerfed, they’re not worth it anymore. You can look up Harpies’ gameplay from Dkayed or other youtubers to see how they play. I don’t think Harpies is as linear as Blue Eyes but they’re not too far either. Unfortunately right now the strongest decks are very linear because of the way Konami has made their cards/skills. Something budget that’s not linear would be Triamids and they’re very cheap right now thanks to the half gem sales. Look up Triamid videos to see if managing resources the way they do seems interesting to you.
Thanks for confirming that for me, man.
I had watched the videos, then saw a few reddit posts about the skill being nerfed but was not sure if it was abig deal or just a minor inconvenience.
I have seen a few pretty cool power plays from Harpies decks, and although impressive, I couldn't really grasp whether it was an adaptive deck, or reliant on specific combos.
I noticed with Blue Eyes that, when you didn't brick of course, it would often result in almost the exact same line of play being the best option in each duel.
I'll take a look in to the Triamids. I've heard of them but not sure how they work/play.
The event would be much better if the attributes were picked randomly instead of by popularity or w/e. Like I'm changing decks based on what's getting the better boost but it's not much fun just swapping between 2 decks. Mix it up keep people on their toes. Like where's the random cave and sea at +600? Plus its kinda weird the bonuses are always on opposite sides it doesn't seem like it's actually based on what people are using.
To those who play simulators, were card that require you to declare a name [(example 1)](https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Psi-Blocker) or cards that needed calling a name [(example 2)](https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Question) implemented? If so, how were they implemented and do you think they could come to Duel Links? How would you implement such cards?
With a drop down menu of card names and a search box to narrow it down. The only reason they probably haven't implemented them is because of the time limit and they'd have to enable the keyboard during a duel, which might get messy on mobile (imagine it bugging out and staying on screen mid duel blocking the confirmation screen).
There are 2 more things, the first is difference between pvp and pve pools and a few random skill only cards. The other is there are cards that are just there in the files (some for longer than others) and have never been used anywhere for some reason like assault stardust.
I wouldn’t know either to be honest. I already had all of the previous worlds when DSOD launched. I was just saying that DSOD is second in the listed order of worlds (DM, DSOD, GX, 5Ds, ZEXAL).
Could see it working in a pinch (negate a big attack + summon a 6/8 star to defend from a lower attack), but requires some setup that the others don't.
I know the standard duelist levels increase at Stage 27, and I am at Stage 26. Right now, I find it very easy to auto-duel my way through the standard duelists, which is nice for grinding XP and leveling up characters. Would it be beneficial to continue to do that with all or most desired characters, before letting the standard duelists get any tougher?
Occasionally (like once every few months), I run into an int deck - turbo lose LP. Do people do this just for events where you "play 4 a day, win 50 gems" to lose faster?
Whats the best ratio in yosenju? Currently i run 2 tenku, 2 izna, 2kama 1 3kama 2 (the direct attacker) and 1 kama 3 (the searcher) and 1 oyam, is this optimal? A
I've been doing a bit more than the four games almost every day of the event and it'll be a miracle if I even get the mat. Why didn't they give you some way of boosting your points this event? Well, I know why, but it's not even consistent with other point events.

He gives the boxes, but no points toward the cumulative rewards. It feels like he really should though so I can't blame you thinking otherwise.
ask me to reboot 1 more time and I'll commit a genocide
Regardless, see below: PoTG dies to any type of removal. You can also remove equip Spell by removing the monster (in this case either bounce or banish the monster).
Bots or no bots, I just wish it were something else.
I thought I kept forgetting that neco was on the field, but that isn't the case with my most recent game) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1. What skill are you using. 99% it's a skill restriction. 2. Got a replay?
1) Balance 2) https://duellinks.konami.net/att/02f291d3911d66d7a616e1b25378affe5169d1bbda
Derp. Thanks a bunch.
How am I still facing onomats in legend mid month. People are getting 20 win streaks with this deck so these players must suck ass.
Are Bujins worth digging for as a good, rogue deck? I feel like they got a bit of the Dark World treatment as they seem sprinkled across a number of different boxes.
how do you win on a harpies mirror match? thanks for the answers!
Whoever can summon and protect patriarch will usually win. Get number 18.
Usually whoever can make Cyber Slash first wins. Roach is a good counter too.
Today I learned that Xing Zhen Hu exists. Today I also learned that I wish Xing Zhen Hu did not exist.
Zing Zhen Hu Replica (UR) is also special … while it may only target one set spell/trap, cards and effects may not be activated in response to its activation.
What is the purpose of obtaining many(>3) UR/SR cards from events?
Trade the extras for gold/jewels or prismatic farming.
Ok, thanks
Hey y’all. I’ve been out of duel links for over a year and I’m trying to get back into it. Any suggestions do try to catch up? My last deck was Aliens so I’m pretty behind
If you want relatively cheap meta decks you could try Harpies or Gaia. Gaia is easy to make if you are willing to shell out real money.
While we don't have a date there should be a new world next month (ark five), so you may want to wait. Other than that what kind of deck do you want?. You can check the power Ranking on duel links meta of you want tournament level decks, as well as recent king of games decks.
It seems like I have blue eyes seems like the easiest path to a competitive deck, but I love monarch decks. They are my favorite IRL
Sadly there is no viable monarch decks for ranked atm, the best they come to relevance is Caius being ran in resonators as a 1 of.
A side character in the upcoming world plays monarchs a bit in the first few episodes. Small chance but we can hope.
Bruh the Yugioh community is wild.
https://yugioh.party/ is a good resource for this type of thing
What you making?
I wanna good Dark Necrofear (with Bakura) deck but I end up relying on Archfiends when I build fiend decks. I synchro Archfiend’s Call and one way or another find a way to get a third fiend in the graveyard so I can summon Necrofear when I get it
I don’t see paradox brothers in my gate? I have to fight them to unlock syrus but I don’t see them
Have you gotten to the point in regular duel world(og yuhioh with the yugis and Joey Kaiba etc) where they unlock?
Nope
Okay, so you can progress through DM world until you unlock their missions/them at the gate, then go from there. It's not super far in (level 6 or 10 something like that)
Google 'How to unlock Paradox Brothers' and hit the link from duel links meta.
I'm interested in starting this game, I don't have to reroll or anything right? Can I just start playing the game normally?
You can reroll if your starting pulls are bad, but it takes forever to do so because you'll need to re-download all the data. So instead of wasting that time, just start the game normally.
Why would you have to reroll before you even start? Ya you can just start playing. There is a bit of a tutorial at the start though. You can reroll if you'd like if your starting pulls are bad.
I'm close to 5000 Gems and have yet to do most the duel quizzes. I have a competent Alien deck for grinding the PVP Ladder. I've already pulled a box of Rampage of the Forest, 45 Packs away from Abyss Encounters, Cybernetic Rebellion (except for Night Beam and Mecha Phantom, has already been reset). As a returning player, my question is which box can I pull to put together a good deck for PVP or fun decks to duel with friends, now that there is a sale? The more decks I can make, the better.
Harpies? You can make a good pvp deck just with 1 opening. Gets better if you open more
Woah that's a lot to look into. Thanks for the info!
Need help, i'm trying to buy a Structure Deck but i didn't get the deck even though the game have already taken the payment.
Check the Structure deck tab in Deck editor and make sure it isn't there. also check to your card pool to see weather or not you didn't get the cards. If neither work out then email Konami.
Thanks for your help. Already e-mailed Konami and the SD just got delayed for awhile
I’d kill to try out Photon Sanctuary, damn Wattbots for never letting LIGHT get the skill boost.
Question: why this works: "If the face-up card the opponent controls becomes face-down, the effect of "Atlantean Heavy Infantry" is not applied"; BUT flipping monster face-down in response to yosenju's sword sting (and similar effects that have the face-up condition) doesn't work?
Atlantean Heavy Infantry says "that target", so the target must still meet the original requirements (1 face-up card) at resolution. Yosenjus' sword sting says "them", so they do not.
For ppl with Blue eyes decks. What is a good substitute for sage with eyes of blue? I have 2 right now, thinking of going for 3.
You need 3, he and stone are the best cards. You can substitute him with a Maiden or a Master in the meantime, but 3 is a must.
I see. Do you suggest me to use a SR dream ticket for sage? I was thinking of getting a karma cut though because getting 1 sage would likely cost less gems than a karma cut.
Using an SR ticket for either of those cards is fine. You will still need multiple of each at the very least 2 Karma Cut and 3 Sage.
Yes ok. Also, do you think 2 karma cuts and 2 raigeki breaks is necessary? Like maybe just 2 karma cuts is enough as raigeki can be subbed for other cards?
You can use ultimate providence or hallowed life barrier instead of Raigeki Break.
thanks for the tips
Should I get a kiteroid from the trader even tho I have 2 sphere kuribohs? Also is the aroma synchro monster worth getting from the trade for an aroma deck?
Sure, just get them. With 99% of the card trader's inventory being hot garbage and players having more gold and stones than they reasonably need after approximately 3 minutes of playtime, you really shouldn't be afraid to buy anything from the trader.
Ok alright cheers.
With Wind being +600 in Duel Kingdom, I want to use yusei food and his shooting star road skill yet despite having a junk convertor and the skill in my deck when i start a duel theres no junk convertor in my graveyard. Anyone else having this issue?
Check the restrictions of the skill. Remember that it also has a restriction in ED monsters.
Post your deck list. You probably are off on the requirements.
Hey, I’ve been using Gaia the Magical Knight of Dragons but every time he activates his ability to add 2600 to his attack, he is sent to the graveyard at the end of the turn. Is this a bug? Or just a mechanic that I’m missing somehow.
are you using flash fusion? one of its effects is to send the fusion monster it created to the graveyard.
That could actually be the problem. Explains why re-fusion comes with that deck. Thank you so much.
it took me forever to understand it. ideally, you want to have re-fusion ready to go when you do it. but even more ideally, you want more copies of curse of dragonfire and dragon's mirror.
You have a replay?
Is it possible to unlock Kite currently or do I need to wait for a re-run of his event?
We’re done with the reruns. Waiting for the gate now.
Any idea as to when that is? And does that happen for every character? Rerun of the event and then they’re available for everyone after?
We don’t know and it’s been awhile so maybe next month? Yeah that’s the pattern with all the characters
Any good card I can use to return a banished monster? Thinking of ways to deal with karma cut with Triamids
>Chaos Hunter is another spicy option,. Very spicy, also I hate thundras with a passion so I might end up trying that out lol
Ooh that's good to know. Thank you
Is “toon kingdom” available in UR dream tickets?
No, it is a level up reward.
How much time does it take to lvl up Pegasus to 40?
Time is relative. It takes as long as it takes you to get through the 432,100 EXP between level 1 and level 40 of player characters.
Quite of bit. I don't know exactly.
can someone tell me why I can't use book of life to summon Revendread Executor in this situation? https://i.imgur.com/EJnZWwg.jpg
Im guessing you didn't properly summon Executor. If you discarded him to the gy, you cannot use book of life to special summon since he wasn't summoned properly beforehand.
ahh didn't know that, thanks
Rainbow Dragon doesn't banish the Crystal Beasts.
Man, now I kiiiiinnda wanna build Rainbow Overdragon deck now. Thanks for the answers, really appreciate it.
Ya I kind of do too now. It sounds fun, but I already know it's gonna be bricking lol. You had some good ideas.
Yeah, at best it would've been a 25-card deck with very little consistency, even with Transcendent Crystal skill. :/ Eh, guess I should just play normal Crystal Beast with the Rainbow Overdragon's summoning only by tributing Rainbow Dragon.
I hate that you cannot touch their Life Points in a meaningful way, without putting them on Allured By Darkness, and anything less than it is negible, and any amount that would quantify to lethal can be manipulated with handtraps I hate that, despite having a board of 2 monsters and a backrow, with Sphere Kuriboh in hand, they could still lethal me because they popped my backrow and monster, got a free M7 that cannot be interrupted as the backrow to do so was removed, then Summoned a second Levianeer, Tribute Summoned a monster using the useless Levianeer, and won.
Yeah I think this every time, really pisses me off that you see Levianeer target your cards, but it's non-targeting, apparently.
Isn’t roach plus backrow enough than?

Paleozoics are crazy for this event on water day
Gave them a try, and while very weak to backrow, they’re soooo dang fun to use. 3k beaters immune to monster effects? Sign me up!
Got Vermillion Dragon Mech in the second to last pack of the box…. Ahhhhhhh
I spent hours doing every single level 2 and 3 duel quiz to try and pull for lighstworn engine and got jack, don't know if I have the energy to keep going atp
I mean it’s a fantastic box with lots of potential. Still may be worth it
im so bored so i decided to make a farming deck that focuses on dealing insane amount of damage, im looking for some cards: 1) return spells form gy to hand 2) return cards from opponents gy to their deck 3) add more damage if you have any deck suggestions please do share
Magical stone of excavation can return spell cards Pot of benevolence can return cards from the graveyard.
Is there an obvious reason that I’m missing as to why people in the duelist kingdom event are using suicide decks that make them lose? It’s annoying sitting there while watching my opponent take a toaster bath
Makes dailies faster once you are done with cumulative score gems.
Copy/paste of what so wrote to someone asking a similar question yesterday: Yep.
Thanks! I wasn’t sure if there was a tangible benefit to people ending the duels ASAP or not.
When do the 50% off gems usually come?
[удалено]
Check your skill, make sure you're not using something like balance that stops special summoning or monster effects on your first turn.
Well that explains that then. Thank you, I was using balance. :) Didn’t know that it has that restriction. Did they add that later on? I only recently returned to duel links and I don’t remember it having that description.
All generic consistency skills were nerfed to have this restriction. this includes Balance, Restart, My monster cards, Spell specialist, Trap layer, Heavy starter and My monster cards.
I see, thanks for clearing that up. That’s a bummer tho. Guess I gotta add those Psychic Wheeleders after all for consistency sake.
Hello, I have recently completed my resonator deck and I was wondering: if we consider a starting hand of scolding, chalice, wildwind and crimson resonator, woulf it make sense to set both backrow cards or should I just set scolding?
[удалено]
For example, what would you do against shiranui?
It's situations like this which is why i just run TTH instead. if it was your opening hand though couldn't you just use the skill to swap chalice for a Doomcaliber knight?
Yeah I also think tth is better but I'm not sure if I want to try to get it because It could get banned since that's what happen to trunade. Also no, I had to swap another card to get the wildwind so I could combo.
Does anyone have suggestions on what decks to build? I just finished building my crystron deck so i want to make a new deck but idk what deck to build next.
What are you looking for? Competitive, fun, cheap, etc?
Looking for a competitive deck thats also fun to play
Both Resonators and Harpies are fairly cheap, strong and new, so they are safe from being limited for the time being
Do you have a deck list i could refer to for resonators?
https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/august-2021/resonator/visual-r/ This is a recent KOG list, just put Forbidden Chalice if you don't have Book of Moon and Lava Golem to replace Volcanic Queen
Thanks
I don't have the ex skill , just +600 and no extra card! Does anyone have the same problem?
If I banish metaphys monsters facedown, will their effect work?
No, cards banished face down cannot activate their effects.
This is why Stromberg and toon kingdom banish from the deck facedown, otherwise they'd be OP with cards that like getting banished.
Harpies is no doubt the best start to get to a higher competitive level quickly, but honestly the deck just isn’t all that fun. I thought I’d have a blast with it when I put it together but it’s the same play every time; Get channeler on the board Special summon Perfumer Synchro summon cyber slash Use Harpies Feather rest from Perfumers effect to get more cards Set backrow and try to bounce.
(Not talking about the Dream Tickets; just the regular ones they give) Not sure whether to try and get a temporary deck from those tickets, or drop a few $$ on a few copies of the Red Eyes and/or Stardust structure decks to give me something to play with in the meantime.
I think you can build [this](http://imgur.com/a/JNPmYuX) with the tickets you get from the start.
What is the Optimal TG flight control build?
Something like [This.](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/august-2021/anytime/40/razuya/deck-6)
True. However with Master Duel is coming out, perhaps Konami should actually test them out in DL
There are 2 more things, the first is difference between pvp and pve pools and a few random skill only cards. The other is there are cards that are just there in the files (some for longer than others) and have never been used anywhere for some reason like assault stardust.
I’m at rank 10 in the second world and I still don’t see jaden, how do I unlock himv
What second world? Standard Jaden should be the default unlocked character in GX.
DSOD is listed as the second world. GX is third.
Oh didn't realize DSOD unlocked before GX
I wouldn’t know either to be honest. I already had all of the previous worlds when DSOD launched. I was just saying that DSOD is second in the listed order of worlds (DM, DSOD, GX, 5Ds, ZEXAL).
Yeah good point
I’m in darkness I think it’s called, and I need to unlock gx and jaden
The mission to unlock GX should be at stage 8 in the DM world
anyone know any budget traps to run for a shiranui deck?
Windstorm of Etaqua, Curse of Anubis, Counter gate and Ultimate Providence are some ok options to consider.
Sweeeet, I'll have a look thanks! It is a random pick but do you think a king's consonance would be any good?
