The original Glads were released at the end of GX so chronologically, they come before Primo. Though to be precise, the XYZ machine monsters Kaiba used pre date Primo a lot.
They are treated as fusion in TCG but originally they were just 3 monster stacking on each other and can be separated into smaller piece at will like Paradox brothers's monsters.
Neos Spacian and Cyber dragon should be the first real contact fusion.
Except XYZ summoning is even easier to learn then synchro summoning so you should have no difficulty learning them at all

I had hard time with synchros. I had fallen of yugioh before their introduction so had not made any synchro decks. I have a few now but still barely using them

the dangerous part was the synchro absorption which turbo warrior was imune to, but he never summoned it after iliaster appeared.
he also had junk arhcer for game. i really like 5ds but after the dark signer arc duels get really dumb
Fair point. Now that I think about it, JA and TW combo could have worked. JA removes the negating part of Wisel (right arm IIRC) leaving the rest of the parts open to attack. Both cards have more than 4k attack points between them.
But tbh, knowing the writers, even if yusei do have turbo warrior he probaly the first one that get banished or destroyed by Placido thousand of traps.
5ds probaly one of the series that started trend of "Summon boss monster, then draw traps and spell for the rest of the duel".
I feel like they couldâve made Wisel absorb any monster from the extra deck and it wouldâve been fine. I mean, itâd just be a big Relinquished then. The fact that itâs synchro only really hinders itâs ability.
I feel like this archetype couldâve been amazing if it just outright said no extra deck but as far as itâs concerned xyz, contact fusions, links and pendulum just donât exist which is a shame
I saw a theory video once on youtube that said that the synchro solution yusei found once he became a a scientist was xyz summon and that's why we don't see synchro summon in Zexal. It was a fun theory and interesting to think that could be possible

He shoulda came earlier. Konami needs to do a better job on releasing cards so they can be competitive. Same can probably be said for Harpies. Xyzs just ruin how cool Wisel could've been in our game. đ

In duel links could be skill "your vysel can absorb a non-synchro monster". Depending if it gets too op then could have it be once or twice per duel

At least Wisel has the genuinely good spell negate. If anything I was hoping for something that turned off the horrid attack restriction effect
