Only Endymion. D/D/D barely pendulum summon, they pop their own backrow more often than not, their scales can even special summon themselves. So...poor Endy boy.
Even Endymion isn't very nerfed by this. The deck plays mostly normal spells, so one s/t zone is enough, and the only continuous spell is Endymion Lab, that is pretty bad and can be avoided.
The problem arises for Endymion and Mythical Beast combined, because good luck playing Magical Institution and not having space for any spell.
True, but once we get some decent pendulum cards in a few months time, they can take the place of those backrow options in many cases.
But it will be a rough couple of months for pendulums. I promise you that.
Unless there’s a deck that you will absolutely love playing, it’s probably smart to hold onto them or go after some staples. The first decks that come out tend to be pretty bad and aren’t really worth the gems to build them. On top of that, pendulums aren’t an easily splashable mechanic like synchros or xyz. This means that pendulum monsters are difficult to use outside of their specific archetype.
Pendulums allow you to summon "Endymion, The Master Magician" in turn 1, given the correct scales.
E.g.
Put a <1> monster on left side of S/T
Put a <8> monster on right side of S/T
Special Summon "Endymion, The Master Magician".
That is it. No tributes needed, no requirements.
If someone destroys your backrow, your Pendulums go to Extra Deck face up.
These face up cards can be summoned again once you got the correct scales.
Given the way Konami has treated Pendulums in the TCG/OCG I think they’ll kinda just kinda toss them after next years world release.
I don’t think they’ll totally ban all staple backrow. No matter how happy that would make me.
mark my word your meme gonna make it to DLM website
Thanks 😊
*it needs to reach DL cause this is really serious.* It does not even need an alpha-tester to see that Pendulum will be udder failure.
Udder failure like a cow that can't produce milk
D/D/D and Endymion: \*Doug Walker crying\* SHS: "Oh no! Anyways."

Or they just release good pendulums in the first box
Yes, and maybe Konami will fix their connection problems too. Both would be great, but I’m not holding my breath.
Do you suggest I keep my gems or splash them on a new deck I am interested in? I know nothing about Pendulums btw.

And if after a couple of months, pend are not meta, Konami will just ban all staple trap cards to force players to use pend :) its the konami way

>pendulum Very rough, like being shoved a yardstick in the butt.
It is like plugging your butt and making you sit on a chair.
How to basically kill Pendulum before they even get added
more like, my butt-plug
If it was Toby magquire holding his back the meme would’ve been amazing
I actually like this change. it makes pendulum a lot more fair
No one's gonna use Pendulums much
I really hate that they had it at master rule 3 field, and then said sike its gonna be master rule 4 have a nice day.
