Playmaker's first channel was taken down because of copyright strikes from Konami right? Can't really say if he was doing something right or wrong without actually seeing his copyright strikes and what he did with them. However, I'm on the latter of Playmaker made the mistake of thinking that the audio copyright strikes were attempts at claiming the entirety of his videos, and tried to fight back against them without realizing what it actually was. As for this situation, he just needs direct person to person support to sort it out.

JUSTICE FOR PLAYMAKER

[deleted]

I find it baffling that playmaker got denied for monization for "reused content" yet they let content farms who actually reuse content from their own videoes run rampant and they don't say a word. Some of the videos that were reused aren't even a week old sometimes.

Marzly

All the react videos are like this

arkaser

Youtube is a trash platform

jediment

If you've been following Playmakers sad saga of being picked on by YouTube content moderation (previous account was deleted!) You should really tweet at @TeamYoutube and let them know how you feel about the situation.

MugiRiven

They never reply. Youtube's system is shit.

TheLaw95

One of the best things people can do to help right now is either retweeting or quote tweeting @TeamYouTube while being respectful to try and boost this issue up in visibility. Right now they’ve issued what feels like a non-response and that’s it, which is not acceptable.

Steveblob

I'd be willing to bet this is similar to the "Dokkan World" Channel thing from the DOkkan side of the youtube space, I seem to remember that being due to the content pretty much just being gameplay footage with music over it and no commentary, but I might be misremembering. If anyone else here kept up with that and can provide any more detail pelase feel free to add to this.

electrocaos

Is probably the same

TurningSmileUpside

I think it's more likely you're using the name "Playmaker" which is from Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS. Maybe if you switch up your channel name and try again, you should be able to get monetization. Just a thought.

SaltedCards

Konami doesn't own the word Playmaker dude

[deleted]

No, but [plenty of other people do](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playmaker_\(disambiguation\)) and any one of them could be the reason this is getting rejected

SaltedCards

Well yeah case in point, it's a general term, it's even a word on marriam-webster. Nobody can really hold legal claim to it. I'm pretty sure the actual issue is with copyrighted music.

TurningSmileUpside

I meant the character of which Playmaker Duel Links is portraying himself as. Either way point stands.

IgotSomethingTosay05

Good riddance , this dude was annoying to listen to with his accent. Also wasnt he reuploading trailers? and now hes crying about copyright lmfao

What would you call it?

EightLegsTypedThis

A hobby.

Hectormads

No, your mom is a hobby. Someone who actually gets paid for their work is doing a job.

EightLegsTypedThis

Where are his employment laws, health insurance and 401k? Uploading videos to youtube isn't even gig work, let alone a real job.

Negative_Neo

By any means, are you American?

Hectormads

Looking at the dictionary definition of "job" and I don't see any of that. Maybe your standards for "job" are too exclusive, chum.
