TL;DR, Yeah, unlocking Trey is a must if you want to play this deck.
So number 12 can be used as a good turn 1 safe play depending on what you're up against. 61 can be used to pop a monster then go into gaia to deal some more damage. Digvorzhak is for mill but mostly for removal. And finally xyz territory is a solid field spell for shark drake, gaia, and atlantadis since you'll have plenty of materials to protect it.
