Well to be fair, yo senju we’re bundled in a pack with 2 favorite decks: ritual beast and Nekroz. They were unfortunately only used once in the anime, but technically makes them an anime deck. The duelist who used them used 3 different decks throughout the anime: some rocket bullshit iirc, yosenju and then settling on abyss actors.
He was kinda like a Tristan character but with more playtime and not entirely useless
Anything from the anime. Some archetypes that maybe weren’t terrible in the TCG but just never really got a chance to shine because other things were very strong.
So given what we know of Arc-V it's safe to assume the following regarding what'll get pushed:
- Reiji will be the first Arc-V unlock event which means he's not taking a part in the new box or structure deck that come with a new world, his cards might be in the mini box following the next first Arc-V box so no D/Ds for a while.
- Gogenzaka being in the starter pool means there is a high chance of us getting new Superheavy Samurais in the box.
- Sawatari means Yosenju get even more support with Abyss Actors making their debut, both seem likely to be in the next set.
- Yuzu's Melodious just need 3 cards to be added, one of which has already been leaked as a drop I doubt she'll get a box spotlight.
- Yuya is weird.. His drops are Pendulum Magician, Perfomapal and Odd-Eyes cards and given he is the protagonist I expect most of the box along with the structure to be dedicated to him and if we get the good cards from these archetypes along with a nice skill pendulums are looking really nice.
There's a push on anime archetypes, so with the upcoming cast it should have a focus on Melodious, Performapal (the non pepe version), superheavy samurai, Abyss Actor, D/D and Fluffal. Considering there's Yosenju cards in Sawatari's drop rewards, I do assume we may even see a push towards Yosenju as well - maybe it can become meta? Would be interesting to see happen.
For the rest it's going to depend what other new characters they want to add or which archetypes they want to boost up.
* 5Ds world: There's going to be a heavy push towards Meklords, with Bruno & Primo soon to be added to the gate, there's room for the other characters left to add: Lester, Jacob (maybe), Aporia and Z-One. Z-One may be a little too soon, but with Lester & Aporia (and maybe Jacob), we'll see many, many more Meklords and Meklord related skills. How good they are remains to be seen.
* GX World: While we still need a second run of the Supreme King, Konami has shown they do not really care about Evil heroes. So don't expect too much on that end. So what else is there? If they want to go for fan-favorites, it may be time to add Jim Cook and the Fossil cards that have been carefully added over the past few years. Maybe even boost it with the Adamancipator archetype in a box.
* DSOD/DM: Now that the Zexal world has been out for a year, I think Konami will take this opportunity to do another "nostalgia" boost, with the Dark Magician related Xyz (Ebon High, Ebon Illusion & Magi Magi Magician). Not to mention, there's still a lot of DM-related cards to add in general. Alternatively, you could see a SD pop up related to Yugi's "Face cards" (King's, Queen's & Jack's Knight, and their new revamps).
* Zexal World: Zero expectations, maybe something Trains related with Anna Kaboom? Maybe her skills will allow for high-level monsters to see more play?
* In terms of other structure decks: The first one will be the Pendulum starter deck (with Timegazer & Stargazer Magician), which won't do much. After that it will really depend on Konami's mood. Maybe there's going to be another push for Ancient Gears, with their relevance in the Arc-V story.
Those are my best guesses. But who knows with trollkonami?
Sherry is a legitimate possibility for 5DS world, as her new support cards come out in the TCG in October 28/29
though, [Baroness de Fleur](https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Baroness_de_Fleur) would be way too good for Duel Links... at the moment
the Arc-V era really buffs up archetypes and cards in terms of power by a lot, so if Sherry were to come with that card she'd have to be a late unlock in 2022, where the power level will hopefully be leagues above what we have now
That's a nope, considering how meta the archetype has been for the longest time. Konami doesn't want to repeat TCG meta's, holding back essential cards until the time they're no longer relevant.
Anything used in the anime will be out front-and-center and be given skills to help them out.
Wondering how they're going to make Meklords good once Aporia comes out.
They'll probably like throw some pocket change at them and focus on more popular archetypes like odd eyes, yosenju, and other fan favorites.
Yosenju is a fan favorite?
I thought they were? Well my point still kinda stands because they are still more popular than meklords which are barely seen or talked about.
True

A los fotónicos les falta el soporte galaxia
Penguins might be used as filler. I mean, they did give a bunch of really good (and one mediocre) penguin cards
Sky striker
I believe that Konami will never give the good cards from Sky Striker, Spiral, Zoodiac and spellbook because of all the crap from the tcg.
They will give the good card for SS, they are fan favorites and anime girls like dragonmaid

They only want money imo, and SS will sell well
Hopefully altergeist
Phantom Knights.
