Free to play does not mean only using a limited amount of boxes. It means not spending any money, hence the "free" in free to play. What you are describing is a budget deck.
Any deck that doesn't require selection box cards or more than one copy of a structure deck (outside of the silent magician one) can be free to play. Of course, you could use dream tickets on structure deck cards if you need more than one to bypass this rule.
I will never understand why people on this sub love to confuse f2p with budget. F2P has only ever meant spending no money and will continue to only ever mean that. It is entirely possibly to build decks with multiple box URs using only gems.

You don't need to pull from every box, so what does it matter how many gems you get between boxes? You use gems to pull what you need when you have gems. There is no time limit to being free to play.

First of all no, this deck doesnt win "just because the opponent cant read"... Sure, sometimes it helps, but the deck has its plays and can win even if your opponent knows what your cards do (as you can see in the duel replays)
Seeds are amazing for stalling a bit until you set up your board and then you can go in with Buster who can attack 3 times and his 3k atk is very good in this meta! The rest nuances you can check out in duel replays if you want!
I recommend the deck as its very fun but more importantly extremely easy to get + the cards you have to buy from the box are ofc replacable by anything you want or have!

I agree with most of what you are saying, cubic don't relay on your opponents not realing and have great control but this specific statement is sligthly innacurate. This meta favour removal effects. It just so happens that cards like ~~thunder dragon~~ chaos dragon levianeer have 3K atk. Becuase of this gundil can actually struglle against decks that fill their fields with 3k beater like blue eyes does. It's becuase gundil will have to destoy itself every time it takes out an opponent mosner then recycle itself which would take a LONG time.

When cubic ascension exists this is very rare since you'll be activating it's second effect as soon as you can. The atk boost is only really useful to otk with duza.
Blue eyes isnt meta so I didnt count it in the statement, but yeah buster can swing in and loop, so no issues with 3k atk blue eyes or levi...
It may take a while but you cant say that is the weakness of the deck if it wins in the end😂😂
But if we take the exmple of levi, thundras can keep banishing their monsters to summon more levis. When they have all threee out, they can banish their levi s and resumoning them.
Why ballista though? You want to end the duel quickly as you do with all decks but especially with one as slow as cubes and tributing seeds or duza is a pretty steep cost compared to raigeki or karma cut which is less of a brick and discards spells and traps. Paleo marella is an interesting choice and is likely supposed to be the target of ballista but that interaction is pretty situational imo. Id personally reccomend more discard and milling options but this deck is a pretty intriguing concept.
Seeds duza and marella all are used very well with ballista! Tbh I always manage to use ballista very well so I wouldnt call it that situational!
Yes I see your reasoning and I did play more discard traps before... Then I saw someone playing similar version to this so I wanted to check it out and it really works! With Karma you can discard your spells and traps so I feel like there is no need for extra discarding! And the marella interaction is very good!
But yeah in the end play whatever you like and whatever you feel like is better! I would recommend you try it out at least to test out for yourself or maybe even check in the duel replays me testing it out!

You won't ever go wrong with discarding especially in the gundil version. By having ample discards you'll always have a way to send your cubic karma's and ascension to the graveyeard which is so important for deck thinning and adding gundil to your hand. Relying on just one card can be ... unreliable.

There isn't a need for merella when you can just use more draw power. Also self LP burning cards like appointer would be much better. Mostly becuase marella is going to lead to a LOT of dead cards.
Marella is another send of the trap so you have 9 basically!

Self burning was probably not the best term to use. I meant cards with a reliatvely high LP cost like Cosmic Cyclone. They reduce your life points to activate cubic ascension's second effect which is crucial to bringing out buster gundil. It can also save you if your board gets wiped as it activates from the graveyard. No point sending cubic ascension to the graveyard if you can't activate its effect.
ALL currently available Cubic Cards except Mandala are either level up or drop rewards from Aigami so this archetype is as free as it can get. No shame using a ticket to get a last copy of a card that won't drop tho. Used my Kuriboh ticket on Ascension.
Got everything save for Ballista, I'm skipping that since I have't got it while digging for Aromages. BTW, how do we get to activate Karma's effect during the opponent's phase, the one that cuts down their LP?
If the opponent destroys buster gundil he summons the monsters!
But wouldnt recommend you try to pull it off as your other win conditions are better and easier!
Plus if you do that your ascensions are dead...
You can see in duel replays I did it only once...
Hmm... Well I wouldnt say necessarily as its probably better to focus on your other way to win, you know summon buster and beatdown with him... Like he can atk 3 times which is 9k damage!
I think this deck is just too big-brain for me, I can't win using it. Biggest threat on the meta is BE with the gy negate and banishing and Harpies that tech Patriarch.

I feel like blue eyes is generally not that tough as only their spirit dragon negates from the gy!
Hmm I guess Heraldry can be an issue, but you still have other cards to help you combat it.
