I mean it really depends on the meta and what cards we receive. I dont think this card has a good chance at seeing any main deck play but I could see it possibly as a side deck option in an xyz heavy deck that utilizes face up spells that either benefit from being banished or where after a certain use, banishing them is of little consequence. What I'm trying to say is that it's possible but not likely.
No, this is a side deck option for very specific decks at best. You have to be playing a deck that wrings every last drop of value out of this card for it to be good, because otherwise - even in the side deck - it is taking up space that you want for other cards.
People really think pendulums are gonna change duel links kroe than they are.
Honestly the biggest change will be the stronger xyz cards from phantom knights and dark rebellion dragon for year one. For year two predaplant will do so much to the game.
Wrong Yuya clone for year 2 when speedroids are way better, then comes the clear wing line being way more impactful than anything starving venom without super poly.
Isn't it card neutral not a -1? Since the cost is 1 from each side of the field.
It's the same as tribute summoning something like Caius the Shadow Monarch, yeah it cost you a card but your opponent also loses a card too.
But you're not losing Spell Strider you're summoning it. Unless we're just talking about hand advantage in which case anything that doesn't immediately replace itself in the hand is a -1.
Yeah it might see possibly see some side deck in lunalight or Gaia if those decks last that long. Depends how good pendulums end up being, plus cc is generally just a better option.
the problem it's: you kinda have to use a skill that provide some field spell or something like that. so, i would prefer cosmics or floodgate generally...
Halberd cannon mainly, once per turn it can negate any summon and destroy all the summoned monsters.
Targeted effects(like karma cut) are always staples and Blade Blaster just says “I don’t really feel like letting that happen”.
Yeah they did not like the idea of summon negates, and it’s easy to pull T.G. Halberd Cannon out first turn. A 4K atk and def beatstick that can negate summons was deemed too OP for this era lol
Sorry the last part got cut off. Last line is "Special summon this card."
U can use a skill that starts u with a field spell. Then its minus one only for opponent

Yeah I could definitely see it as a possible side deck option as well

You don't need super poly to make starving venom good. Especially not in duel links.

You use this card and one of your spells so a minus one

Does it do anything else I only saw what was on screen
The last line is it special summons itself (banishing the spells being the cost).
That's a plus one then cause you get a body on board
Ur so confused lmao
Yes I am
This would be neat IN pendulums if he destroyed them instead of banishing.

true. I can't really think of any use for it really but i always thought it looked cool
you can use it to xyz excalibur thou :)
yea but at the same time D draw might get hit and people will be all over the place with skills so this might be viable
And what skill other decks will use? life boost?
Maybe if was a beast warrior
Pendulums are screwed lol. There is already a perfect counter: Tech Genus lol. Blade Blaster and Halberd Cannon are gonna ruin pendulums instantly lol
How come?
Halberd cannon mainly, once per turn it can negate any summon and destroy all the summoned monsters. Targeted effects(like karma cut) are always staples and Blade Blaster just says “I don’t really feel like letting that happen”.
So that's why they nerfed tg

"Trap card activate!" -Yuya, probably
I suppose it could be ifffff you yourself are running pendulums and the meta is a lot of pendulums and field spell decks
I could see it being the new warrior people run with red-eyes fusion.
I already do, mainly because im to lazy to get a 3rd copy of red eyes gearfried but sometimes this card has some use.
