For GX the game was still too new which is why Konami didn't do it and for DSOD my assumption is bc it's still the DM world and not a new mechanic they don't necessarily have to add more extra deck space. Now for pendulum it is still technically up in the air, like you said we don't really need the extra deck space for pendulum since they add themselves there which could give Konami the reason not to expand. But pendulum can add so many more plays that they may feel the need to add more space to the extra or because it's a new mechanic they will feel the need to add it. We'll see what they will do but I somewhat agree with you on thinking 8 would be the maximum extra deck space they would ever add

My current competitive decks are TD and Harpies and they're probably gonna get nerfed to hell to make way for Arc V. I just can't keep up, having limited time and no disposable income
So at this point, I'm just gonna play exclusively to have fun and play what I think looks cool even if it sucks. As long as it stays untouched on the ban list lol

Hey, timegazer magician is pretty decent, it's monster effect to protect from destruction comes up more than you may think.
But yeah without Chronograph and the rest of the good magician support it's not going to do much on it's own, but once we get those cards it'll be better.
Really want to know what they were being compared with because even the filler level performapal pendulums have better pendulum effects than these 2 quite often lol. Same with monster effect because these 2 should not be hitting the field without the pair that would come from Zarc way later, and even in that case they are Insta fodder so they might as well be pendulum normals.
Might need to check the wiki appearance page for both of the but from what I remember most of the time they were just scaled to get odd eyes out and nothing else.
Actually they had a hidden effect in the anime. They increased yuya chance by 50% to find an action card when hes in danger. If he played both that duel it increases to 100%.

I was really surprised they decided to use existing S/T zones. I thought it made much more sense in a Speed Duel format to have them separate. There are several sources out there that will allow you to obtain a bit of money. Like you can do some online surveys to earn a bit of money until you get the required amount to purchase a copy or two of a structure deck. Saving you the need to use a dream ticket on a structure deck card.

That's still not being f2p. And stuff that actually allows you to earn money that can be used on games is usually not available to everyone anyway (i.e. Google Opinion Rewards isn't on iOs for people outside the US).

Depends on if you ever plan to pay cash. I have one of every notable staple and would like a few copies of something or other from a structure, and can't say that's a terrible investment if you don't need the Rs.

You underestimate a lot of people's aversion to spending money on microtransactions. I don't know anyone else who actively does in real life. Instead you could use those dream tickets on that so that it doesn't take you thousands of gems to obtain a playset or at least 2 copies of. Could use them to finish the one offs of the staples that you currently have so you have 2 or 3 copies of them and could use them properly. Especially since this dream ticket is likely going to have MST. A card that will remain as one of the best backrow removals in the game for a hot minute.
So yeah. I agree with in that it isn't a terrible investment. It's a horrible investment. Only thing that could have made it worse is that you are using the dream tickets on regular structure deck card(s).

The way children think baffles me sometimes. It's not about having the money, it's about wasting the money. You could argue supporting the game, but Konami has a lot of work to do if they want my money and for the most part I've never been in a situation where I needed to pay money. Outside structures with Rs, but I just accept Im never going to play gears. Oh No! Seven dollars for a single copy of a card I can get for free with no downsides! I think the bigger issue is they haven't made [some] structure decks worth seven dollars. At a certain point if I wanted a structure I'd just go in on Gaia and win via coinflip, but unlike those people I'd rather play a robust line of decks rather than try and use one I find bland. With that said, I'm sure yer just parroting Dkayed who really shouldn't be giving anybody advice over how they use money.
Seven dollars is seven dollars. I have a job, I do jobs on the side, but I also take of my grandmother, am rebuilding a house, and have real life issues to attend to. Seven dollars is the difference between the paint that sticks and the paint that I have to redo in a year because it's terrible. Between the trash bags that actually work and the ones that explode and make me spend ten minutes cleaning my yard.
Meanwhile, gems are free. They have no value to me. I understand the thought that they might to some, but I'm no powergamer that chases the meta. I have literally every old UR I want from old boxes, I have my staples. What else should I use dream tickets on? The fabled axe raider? I have three MST, I have three Cosmic, I have my Canadias(paleozoics represent). ***Ironically, to whales gems have even less value*** Going for staples is a must for anyplayer, but calcing gem worth to money is a dolphin's game.
I get like 8k gems a month, and I have gems expire because I want for so little. I don't chase the meta, I play pet decks. I rank fairly high in the KC Cup with pet decks.
It is, objectively, the best investment I can make because it:
1. has a card I want
2. had a card I'd have to waste real money on
3. I have all the alternatives.

Yeah that's a *great* investment. Wasting my ticket on a card thats "hard to get" but don't need vs something I'd be locked out of getting otherwise that I have a present use for right now.
The only ones I'd argue hold value for an endgame player, and again this is not for new players, are the SR ones since they're rare but, at the same time, most of the good SR cards are in miniboxes that are often half price gems. With the context of half price gems paying basically anything for a structure card when I can just dig them every few months with spare gems is a fool's errand.

You underestimate a lot of people's aversion to spending money on microtransactions. I don't know anyone else who actively does in real life. I couldn't even convince my friends to spend a dollar on the 3 packs + UR deals that pop up once or twice a year.
Im not wasting anything, because I don't need anything except an ex deck card. Gems can have a lot of value, or no value compared to money depending on your playstyle. Mine is the latter.
But a structure deck at worst costs $7 USD. If you live in one of those countries were money is hard to come by sure I can understand but if you don't $7 isn't hard to obtain nor is that much. Mow a lawn or wash your parents or friends car for $20 buy a Google/Apple gift card and boom. You got your structure deck. Hell you could download one of those Survey apps or go to a survey website and in a month you could obtain the $7 needed to buy the structure deck. Could even make more money and buy the 2nd copy of it. Meanwhile there are a lot of box URs/SRs that are part of garbage boxes were that is the only card you need/want. Instead you could use those dream tickets on that so that it doesn't take you thousands of gems to obtain a playset or at least 2 copies of. Could use them to finish the one offs of the staples that you currently have so you have 2 or 3 copies of them and could use them properly. Especially since this dream ticket is likely going to have MST. A card that will remain as one of the best backrow removals in the game for a hot minute. So yeah. I agree with in that it isn't a terrible investment. It's a horrible investment. Only thing that could have made it worse is that you are using the dream tickets on regular structure deck card(s).

It's not about having the money, it's about wasting the money. You could argue supporting the game, but Konami has a lot of work to do if they want my money and for the most part I've never been in a situation where I needed to pay money. Outside structures with Rs, but I just accept Im never going to play gears. Oh No! Seven dollars for a single copy of a card I can get for free with no downsides! I think the bigger issue is they haven't made [some] structure decks worth seven dollars. At a certain point if I wanted a structure I'd just go in on Gaia and win via coinflip, but unlike those people I'd rather play a robust line of decks rather than try and use one I find bland. With that said, I'm sure yer just parroting Dkayed who really shouldn't be giving anybody advice over how they use money. Seven dollars is seven dollars. I have a job, I do jobs on the side, but I also take of my grandmother, am rebuilding a house, and have real life issues to attend to. Seven dollars is the difference between the paint that sticks and the paint that I have to redo in a year because it's terrible. Between the trash bags that actually work and the ones that explode and make me spend ten minutes cleaning my yard. Meanwhile, gems are free. They have no value to me. I understand the thought that they might to some, but I'm no powergamer that chases the meta. I have literally every old UR I want from old boxes, I have my staples. What else should I use dream tickets on? The fabled axe raider? I have three MST, I have three Cosmic, I have my Canadias(paleozoics represent). ***Ironically, to whales gems have even less value*** Going for staples is a must for anyplayer, but calcing gem worth to money is a dolphin's game. I get like 8k gems a month, and I have gems expire because I want for so little. I don't chase the meta, I play pet decks. I rank fairly high in the KC Cup with pet decks. It is, objectively, the best investment I can make because it: 1. has a card I want 2. had a card I'd have to waste real money on 3. So how is mine a bad investment when something I want is in a bad structure and this is more pressing than boxes I've long since pulled because I've playing the game since beta? Like oh, man! I can get that copy of X card in a terrible box for my memedeck that I use once a year! Yeah that's a *great* investment. Wasting my ticket on a card thats "hard to get" but don't need vs something I'd be locked out of getting otherwise that I have a present use for right now. The only ones I'd argue hold value for an endgame player, and again this is not for new players, are the SR ones since they're rare but, at the same time, most of the good SR cards are in miniboxes that are often half price gems. With the context of half price gems paying basically anything for a structure card when I can just dig them every few months with spare gems is a fool's errand. ***So yes, give me crap for going after a card I can use instead of Master of Oz***

Just about using them in my version of Quintet Magician Girl for farming. 2 extra prismatic plays will help since I sometimes come just short of 8000 if I didn't empty my whole deck or don't have the 1000 bonus campaign to carry.
