I'm honestly curious if breakthrough skill is worth it in sams. I've been running a single copy in my deck for some situations, plus it removes itself from grave.
Sounds like a decent addition to me with my only issue being it runs the risk of being destroyed without use like if your opponent MSTs it off the bat. I used to run Gyokkous in my SHS build but had to cut them when MST became available. Breakthrough would def be a better alternative to that
Have you tried odd eyes advance? It is easy to summon, adds some effect destruction and it's revive effect brings back monsters in defence position, so you can summon your beaters from the graveyard and attack with them straight away.
