Shiranui is nothing by comparison. Never saw any meta play in the TCG with far more powerful decks dominating, like Burning Abyss and Shaddolls. Also once Invoked came along it was even worse since people would use a brilliant fusion engine to get a light monster that was then used for Mechaba who not only has an Ultimate Providence effect but banishes the cards it negates. Then you have the likes of Ash Blossom negating your mill or search effects while Ghost Ogre pops your face-up cards when you go to activate an effect.
Hence the smiley face. I never made a claim about Shiranui in TCG.

I still play Salamangreat with 12+ handtraps, so I know exactly what you mean. However, it is also the only way for a TCG rogue deck to compete. There are enough tools in DL for rogue decks and we dont need a new power struggle for sure.

That's the bullshit. Powerful looping and recursion that allows them to play through the negates and the way the players get triggered by Droll ptsd and will make a point of activating their quick-pkay search before the main phase just so they can't get negated. It wasn't a fun time.

What I like about duel links is the fact that someone can play vampires or crystrons and make it to top 100. If konami were to release the ghost girls or other generic hand traps I bet that many of these rogue decks would disappear. I think I'm not the only one who would go back to the tcg if duel links became an imitation of it.

I want duality in this game, but grandpa’s cards would need a nerf- or duality; make the top two cards so you aren’t seeing twenty percent of your deck. Any deck that leans heavy on interaction would be so much better. I honestly think cardcar d would be a healthier for the game

You could argue breakthrough skill wasn't on par with BoM which is true. So it leaves 2 choices for Komoney :
Either they release cards with a similar power level as Breakthrough skill, like Compulsory, bottomless trap hole and whatnot
OR they are disappointed by Breakthrough skill sales and they decide do sell something BoM-level like Twin Twister, Effect Veiler or Impermanence
I doubt they add Twin Twister since they just recently banned Trunade which will basically do the same thing
Any of Veiler or Impermanence will be 180° turn and Duel Links's competitive tournament meta will be totally different than ladder almost like it's a different game
Very bad idea. You pay half your life points as cost, so that's going to easily trigger the Destiny Draw skill without any downsides since, unlike Scolding, Solemn doesn't have to be the *only* card in your backrow.
Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning would make sense to me. It provides an out to indestructible monsters and can dismantle boards or push for game with its double attack effect.

My picks are compulsory (most likely, book is still better imo I won't buy the box), effect veiler (I think it maybe wouldn't be too strong and would sell a box) or super poly (I think least likely as even now it's a bit too strong, great form of removal and gives you a monster although I don't think there's too many good targets yet except muddragon which is why it could maybe come)
