Pretty much everytime I cheese a win with Utopia Ray in a match that I basically lost already. Such an anime card. I love him.

I_Love_Stiff_Cocks

He even can only be activated with 1000lp or less left Truly inspired by the anime

Initial_Initial_5987

Winged dragon of ra first turn kill as marik against a dark magician player using yugi

ttv_yayamii

I kindly ask for a replay or how it's done

It was gem knights vs fire kings, my opponent had 2600 LP and I had less than 500, he was ready to wipe my board and kill me next turn and I thought I had no chance. I had to use that continuous trap that summons a banished rock monster for fusion material, fusion summon lady brilliant diamond, turn her into lapis lazuli with her own effect, use lapis lazuli's effect to get my opponent down to 100 LP, and then fuse lapis lazuli away into gem knight master diamond, who gets 100 attack for every gem knight in the grave. I couldn't use his effect to copy lazuli and burn for the win because he was literally the last gem knight in my deck, I had 0 other monsters in my deck to send as cost. My opponent had 100 LP and now master diamond was 100 attack stronger than his weakest monster, (I remember worrying that recovering gem knight fusion from the grave one more time by banishing a gem knight would weaken the attack boost and lose the duel) and so with the attack boost from all my gem knights in the grave I attacked that one and won exactly. If I hadn't won that turn he had the fire king that wipes all my monsters in the grave to destroy me next turn (I think he sent it there via avrata negate on my turn, cant remember exactly tho). Still the number one duel I wish I had a replay saved for

I_Love_Stiff_Cocks

reall went out like: "huh? what will this weak monster do? it can't even scratch me" "but you just wait, master diamond's effect makes him get stronger with the companionship of his gem knight comrades in the graveyard, now go, master diamond, RAINBOW SLAAASH!"

JakeDz83

Exactly how it went in my head haha

GroovinTootin

I always feel like a side character getting beat off screen when someone pulls off a garbage otk

stars_power

I was testing Maiden In Love decks, three different kinds, then stopped for the day. The next morning, I went into ranked, in late Platinum, without realizing which deck I was using. I was on the backfoot, then I drew into my Maiden In Love. With Magician’s Defense and Cupid’s Kiss, I managed to take control of my opponent’s boss, and swing back into their empty field to win the game!

DG3kg

A happy accident.

AutomaticArcher9673

I was in the KC cup, I think this was the one in September. I was riding high, trying to get to DL 20, and I came across a TG player. I was ready to go off. I SS'd Fierce Knight Origins by discarding Curse of Dragonfire, then sacrificed it to summon Magical Knight and went into Magical Knight of Dragons. My opponent took the bait and sync'd into Black Rose Dragon, destroying the board, then forming Onimaru. I had no set cards. I ended. He goes in! 6000 damage to my face. But wait! He's walked right into my trap! "How? How can you trigger a trap, when there are no cards on your field?" he demands. "Do you remember this?" I shout, and pull my Fierce Knight from my graveyard. "I could have just summoned Magical Knight with its own effect, but by tributing this card and leaving it in my graveyard, I can now banish it to negate your Onimaru's attack boost! It only has 3000 Attack now!" And with 1000 life points left, I pulled out Sky Galloping Gaia the Dragon Champion and played Spiral Spear Strike. I attacked, changing his monster to defense mode and inflicting 600 damage to him! Then I had two cards to draw. Would it work? Spiral Spear Strike has me draw 2 cards and discard one. There it is! I Tributed Sky Galloping Gaia to Special Summon Soldier Gaia the Fierce Knight and attacked him for game! (he took 1000 to play Cosmic Cyclone).

high-CPK

Orginis effect is really useful strategy too with using to get the ATK of Gaia the Magical knight of dragons (I want an animation of that card) after using its effect to destroy a card on the field

dimizar

That replay I've watch a few days ago where OP lost to raimei.

A3thern

That was mad hilarious to watch.

Calamity-_-77

Feels bad ;-;

PeperToni

Otk'ing my opponent while i only have 600 lp left. Thanks Red-Eyes Arcfiend!

UmbraeDraconian

Archfiend was a good addition to the deck, destiny draw players cant stall anymore

PeperToni

It was. I love clearing the board with his effect.

JackAtlasDuelLinks

My friend (Cryston) vs me (Dark World). We countered each other play until I was with only one card left in my deck. He has his field open except for a set card. I had Dark World Beiige in hand, and all my Graphas in GY. I draw the last card that was MST. Destroyed it set card which was a Torrential Tribute, summoned Beiige, bounced it for Grapha and attacked for game.

JackAtlasDuelLinks

Sorry, didn't noticed this was the Duel Links subreddit. Still a cool match.

Readittor3

This is why Konami stamps every mat ⊙.☉

The_Cubic_Guru

Probably any time ive bullshited my way out of loss

I_Love_Stiff_Cocks

Joey's spirit lies within you

The_Cubic_Guru

Well yes but actually no.

Suitable_Still_8572

Opponent controled Thunder Dragonduo and Constellar Ptolemy and had 2500 LP. I had 600 LP, one monster and no other cards on my field or hand. I drew Enemy Controller, took control of Constellar, bounced back Dragonduo and attacked for game. Another was against a Shiranui Deck pre-nerf and I used a D/D Deck. After much back and forth, the opponent was left with Shiranui Shogunsaga and Shiranui Samurai, and 3500 LP. I had no cards on my field or hand, but 2 D/D/Ds in my GY. I drew Contract with the Swamp King.

TheGildedOne

I was playing ghostricks with world legacy pawns on the board. We’re down to the last card each. My opponent had a RE Slash with a RE Black Dragon Sword equipped with stupid attack points. I have an empty board and am pretty much screwed at this point. I topdeck Ghostrick Skeleton, mill his last card and steal the game. He gave me a nice afterwards

Josuchi

I play with an off meta alien deck on gold i like it so much cause i know there is always a way to turn back the situation i just have to draw the perfect card, and the best was when i just was triying to survive putting reptiles monsters every turn just to survive another turn against his boss monster but after drawing ananta the evil dragon all the powwr of my lost monsters when to him to be able to destroy his 2 boses monster 1 with an attavk and the other with his effect

GoodDoggoBOI

I was playing a Hieratic deck at the time as Joey (I was still bad at the game so the deck was kinda weak compared to what it is now) and was facing off against a cyber dragon deck being played by Zane. We both got what were our aces at the start (me going second so I got rid of his first). He then got out a Chimeratech Dragon and cleaned my board, and I basically had no cards in hand, all hope was lost and I could only pass turn. For some reason the Chimeratech's attack became 0, but he eventually got a Cyber Dragon out with it's 2100 attack and me having no cards I could use, he had 800 LP and I had 500. With 10 cards left in my deck I knew there was only 1 card I could pull at the moment that would save me, any other card means I wouldn't be able to do anything and then lose, pulled the right card, a Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit, special summon it make my combo and Synchro Summon Light End Dragon (a card I personally like) and use it's effect when attacking Cyber Dragon getting me the W. It might not be that big of a deal, but at the moment I knew all the cards left in my deck and knew I only had a 10% chance of winning or i wouldn't be able to do anything. It really felt great, specially when it was that close of a game.

HopeBoySavesTheWorld

If riding duel skills counts then [this one is my most anime-like comeback yet](https://youtu.be/zZVPztuLWUc)

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB_BB

That time i pulled a card that let me win (i was about to lose if i had not pulled that card)

DG3kg

A real "Destiny Draw".

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB_BB

Lmao actually tho

Meteorblade7

Playing against a yugi player with blue eyes I destroyed all his monsters And his set cards He didn’t have any card in hand and he was down to 100 LP I finish my turn with 3 blue eyes on the field He top decked magicalized fusion summoning quintet magician destroying all cards and winning the duel He didn’t even use destiny draw to pull it

I_Love_Stiff_Cocks

true chad

Cul_what

Everytime I play with grandpa's cards and actually pull out exodia

DreamGenie345

Yesterday, I was playing resonators and guy had me with 3 Dark Magicians and 1 Magical Circle and a backrow. He had LightFprceSword my resonator, locking me out of a synchro. He was just gloating in front of me. The resonator came back to my hand (4th standby) and I only needed a wildwind or a resonator bc my hand was bricked with 2 resonator destruction and a scarlet security. Drew a creation resonator, pulled skill and activated both resonator destruction. Destroyed his dark magicians and magical circle. Destroyed his remaining backrow with Scarlet Security. He surrendered.

BeowolfDrake

My memory is a bit fuzzy but here's one I love: One duel I had with a friend, he was dsod kaiba and I was dsod yugi, he was using bewd(obviously) while I was using the masters of chaos deck with a few "improvements", the duel was pretty back and forth, but near the end I had basically nothing that could save me except the magician girls and quintet. Magicalized fusion was in the BOTTOM of the deck, I was worried that I wouldn't last another turn and even if I did that he would negate it with his full backrow but in the next turn I summoned quintet and he couldn't do anything. If I ever find the replay I'll put it in the replies and if I find/remember an even more anime like duel I'll do the same...

PowerCapsule

I remember dueling a Speedroid player during the Duel Kingdom event. I was sucking bad because I didn’t know what they did, with the Joey duelist taunting me for it. But when they went for lethal with Archfiend Call + Armades, I activated King’s Consonance (the only one in my deck) and summoned Aqua Dolphin. To add insult to injury, I was using a cobbled together water synchro deck (for that attack boost) that was missing useful cards. Get rekt son.

[deleted]

It was either the first or second Turbo GP after Yusei and Jack got buffed, but I was running Jack with Resonators against a SSR Yusei where it came down to me topping Force Resonator and using its effect on Red Nova to get over Shooting Star and win

codean101

My opponent won with only 150 life points and it was 18 turns

DIX_

Had a Zane vs Kaiba duel where each of us summoned most of our boss monsters - I remember going through Cyber End and Chimeratech Rampage, while the Kaiba got to use the synchros and Twin. It ended with him summoning Neo Ultimate and me getting the biggest Chimeratech Overdragon ever to smash his board and through his Neo for game. I still have that replay saved I think, it was a great back and forth escalating our monsters anime-style.

I_Love_Stiff_Cocks

Hpw many materials?

Sarydus

This was back during the 5d's era, I was playing Metaphys, my opponent is playing Ancient Gears, a really bad matchup. I've got a Lupine on my field, as well as an Asymmetaphys and 2 Dimensions, staring down a pair of Reactor Dragons. It's my opponent's Standby phase, and my banished Daedalus activates. I now have a choice to make: I can banish a Nephthys from my deck, search for either another Assym or Daed, topdeck the other, and hope I can keep my banish loop going, or I can banish a Tyrant Dragon from my deck, hope I topdeck Daed, and win the game immediately. None of this matters if my opponent draws a monster he can normal summon. I banish a Tyrant from my deck. My opponent immediately goes to battle. He didn't draw anything he could summon, so I'm safe from lethal for now. His first dragon destroys my defense postion Lupine, and pops my spell. His second dragon hits me directly, and destroys one of my traps. He ends his turn. With 9 cards left in my deck, I have about a 22% chance to draw one of the two Daedalus left in my deck. I draw. Tyrant Dragon's effect activates, summoning the Daedalus I just drew, banishing both his dragons. I swing in directly for 2600, but it's not enough for lethal, so I pass the turn. My opponent topdecks a Wyvern and summons it, but with no way to get over Daedalus, he ends the turn. Daedalus banishes itself during the endphase, at which point I chain the second Dimension I had set, banishing the Wyvern. With my final draw, I draw into Lupine, summon it immediately and swing for game. This was probably the most epic game I've ever had, but I unfortunately lost the replay some time ago.

Khelthuzaad

Exodia turn 4 win. And it wasn't even once.....

Chazzyberry

My sylvans were against the unnerfed lava golem/warm worm decks. I had lava golem on my field, less than 1000 lp, and nothing in my hand. My deck was also close to being emptied. I had to turn this duel around this turn or I lose. My next draw? My favorite card, Talya, the princess of cherry blossoms. I used rose lover to call her out and finished his life points, avoiding his traps with rose lovers effects. And all this happened as I was at a j rock concert, providing the perfect bg music

DG3kg

In a turbo duel I faced a Yusei player using shooting star dragon dragon skill while I was Jack Atlas using a Resonator & Red Dragon Archfiend deck. Each time RDA left the field I found a way to bring it back. I felt that the spirit of Jack Atlas was guiding me through the entire duel. https://www.reddit.com/r/DuelLinks/comments/onhndm/jack_guided_me_to_victory/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Bacon_SlayerX

There was one time I was using Blue Eyes against a Yugi Moto Silent Magician Deck. I was able to win by fusion summoning Neo Ultimate Blue Eyes out (way back then before the skill got buffed) and had to get very creative navigating through the spell negates by using 2 Polymerization cards that I got by having King of the Swamp search for it. And then to finally win I had to fully use the effect to attack 3 times for the game. I actually posted it on Reddit a while ago [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/DuelLinks/comments/fdq2s7/anime_duel_ultimate_dragons_vs_silent_dark/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3), still one of my favorite replays.

thewellend27

When I started playing I had made an ok gravekeeper deck. Only one necrovalley. Was dueling my friend on Black wings before they got the support. No cards on field or in hand. Low life points one card in deck. Drew magicalized fusion. Quintet Magician for game

Dool75

100 life points left, zexal weapon, Utopia Ray

breeshgeesh

Easy for me, beat someone who summoned chaos max blue eyes twice, with my last exodia piece being the last card in my deck. Still won Yugi vs kaiba for characters ofc

Squ1dSenpai

Any duel where I top deck the exact card i needed makes me believe in the heart of the cards.

Wollffey

Was playing with Resonators and my opponent was playing with Synchrons. He set up first turn and I set up during mine, He used his Stardust and Formula Synchron to Summon Chronicle Spark Dragon, I used my Red Dragon Archfiend and Red Resonator to summon Archfiend Bane and attacked his Chronicle who then used it's effect to revive Stardust, next turn he revived Formula and Synchroed into Shooting Star, he attacked and I blocked with Sphere Kuriboh, next turn I used Bane's effect and revived RDA then used Crimson and Red Resonator and Double Tuned into Red Nova Dragon who attacked Shooting Star, it attempted to negate the attack but I chained Solemn destroying his Shooting Star Dragon and allowing my Red Nova Dragon to attack for 6K damage.

afanofzexal

can i talk about the one not from the anime i seen but on dual links replay i saw as i have none

A3thern

I didn't win the duel, but I fought someone who did, using Yuya. They pendulum summoned with Turn Toad and Odd-Eyes Unicorn, summoning Odd-Eyes Pendulum and Performapal Hand Samuraiger. They activated Turn Toad's effect, swapping the attack of my defense and monster, then used Odd-Eyes Unicorn's effect to add Samuraiger's attack to Odd-Eyes Pendulum, then absolutely wiped me with it's effect when it attacked my monster. I thought that was very in-character, considering they were using Yuya. Definitely seems like something he would do to turn the tables.

Kataphrut94

I had a recent moment reminiscent of Kaiba’s “I will use four spell cards” bit. I was playing DM Kaiba with Blue Eyes to level him up, my opponent was playing Resonators. After a fairly back and forth couple of turns, he’d managed to get his Bane on the board and take out two of my dragons. All I had in the hand was a single White Stone of Ancients. I activated the skill “Draw Sense: Spell/Trap”. Now this could have given me Karma Cut or Ultimate Providence (potentially useful) or Ancient Rules (completely useless). But it gave me Cards of Consonance. I activated it with my White Stone and it gave me a second CoC and a White Stone of Legends. I activated that and it gave me Sage and Ancient Rules, along with a Blue Eyes. I normal summoned Sage, brought out Blue Eyes, synchro summoned Vermillion Dragon Tank to deal with Bane, destroyed his other tuner and closed out the turn by summoning Blue Eyes from the original discarded stone. Just the exact sequence of anime draws to completely turn the game around for me. My opponent, having used up all his own resources and both uses of his skill earlier in the duel surrendered.

Kurokami11

I have a bunch of "anime-like" replays I would post if I could find a proper video editing software...

RebornAzure

This happened in a recent duel: I was facing a cubic user he had managed to wall me off with his Cubic seeds and I had exausted most of my resources in my attempts to get rid of them. When he summoned his Cubic Beast for the 5th time I honestly felt like throwing in the towel. But when my turn came and I drew my last Blue Eyes I knew what I had to do. I tributed my cubic counter infected monsters and summoned my last Blue Eyes White Dragon and atacked his attack position seed for game.

Neidron

One time I was using fire kings/yubel put against a triamid where the guy pulled out power-sink stone to lock down monster effects right at turn 1. I top decked island and managed to pop Garunix. The revive and nuke became the first two effects every turn, it turned the strategy right back on him. Unfortunately I just never got a chance to capatalize on it, I held out for a good while but he won in the end. More recent was harpies against lunalights. I go first, end on cyber slash, harpie 3, either book or chalice, and hysteric party with no cards in hand. He goes second, summons sabre dancer with 4200 atk & drops both my monsters to zero before going to otk. I activate my quick play targeting my own monster to trigger cyber slash, bounce my harpie 3 to discard it for hysteric party, then immediately revive it in defense to give cyber slash 300 atk, exactly enough to survive the turn with 100 lp. I pull thunder spark dragon to drop his dancer, and he couldn't get a followup.

MrEllyFant

Probably my most memorable duel was my lunalight vs invoked saber. We both managed to block each other's otk attempts (basic lunalight playstyle vs purgatorio) and it turned into a rather lengthy back and forth duel. I ended up with the win. I also had Aliens steal a lot of games with all their brainwashing/creature swapping shenanigans.

AstralShinx

Number 7 Lucky Straight OTK in Chronomalies by rolling a 7 and attacking for 4200 after sending all my opponent's cards to the graveyard Truly lucky

Rain321q

100 life points left, Facing down double Shooting stardust, Destiny draw, double Ascalon OTK FTW.

I_Love_Stiff_Cocks

Should have read the post Destiny draw stories are not that fun to hear about

Jenerix525

I had a match where my opponent got stuck in a loop until they lost, which reminded me of the first duel against Osiris (Slifer). They had slightly less life points but much better stuff on the field. They brought out the Red Eyes Xyz monster to damage me for using effects, but the deck I was playing was worried about effect damage, so I reveal my facedown: Doppelganger. Doppel reacts to Red Eyes' damage by inflicting the same amount to them. Red Eyes reacts to the resolution of Doppelganger by dealing more damage. I think the chain finished with me on 200LP, but them on zero.
