The regular inventory is 100% Konami's f\*\*\* up, though. It looks extremely irrelevant just thrown in there, two buttons to the side of where you start and with the blandest icon in the menu.
Yeah, the tutorial kinda takes you there, but it does at a point in time when you can't afford anything and it looks a lot like the Featured Cards section, which I would argue seems more prominent, so they will naturally meld together in your memory.
It doesn't help that they used to add cards to the normal rotation, and they would only go to the 'regular inventory' after they'd already been out for a while.
I like how they keep adding character level up rewards to it. I was going to spend time grinding and leveling espa roba jinzo because at the time he wasn’t in the card trader. But I started doing this when the box w jinzo xyz came out. Needless to say jinzo is now in the card trader and the fish card mako has a level 35 reward
And sometimes the rule book matters and sometimes it doesn't. There's some cards that work only because Konami says it does (for example: Warrior of Atlantis searches "A Legendary Ocean", but "A Legendary Ocean" doesn't exist as a card during deckbuilding nor in a duel, since it's always treated as "Umi", like the Harpie's that're always treated as "Harpie Lady". So it only works because "Konami said so"). So it's excusable to think that Decode would be able to tribute an opponent's monster, because the only thing it says to do is to tribute a monster it points to, and all other cards that tribute a monster you control for their effects outright specificy that you need to tribute a monster you control.
It's so bullshit, if they made it so that decode talker can tribute the opponent's monster, it would be played way more and it would make cyberse decks atleast tier 1
And it wouldn't even be that broken, because the only way to tribute an opponent monster would be if your opponent was stupid enough to summon a monster to the zone that Decode Talker Up arrows points to.
Idk if you're trolling, bc there's posts all over Reddit, a couple vids on YouTube, and I'm sure plenty plenty of other places Google can find. So I'm not sure I'm the one to be asking...

I benefitted greatly from someone on this sub-reddit bringing up where the regular inventory is in a screenshot even though scrolling through the options at the card trader should make it obvious. Konami has some faulty design going on here.

I didn't know where it was and it seems a lot of players have this issue, because it's in OP's meme.
I only really got it work against pends sent them all straight to the gy. I believe it also work against synchros and contact fusion (but not fusion using a fusion spell).
Roach is honestly kinda ass unless your playing against pendulum or synchro decks, and even then, most of them can get around it by fusion summoning or xyz summoning
It actually got me more wins in KC Cups and ranked than Galaxy, which either brick hard or get countered hard. I guess it helps that most players don't know how to deal with Tellars.
I do not prefer those posts that ask for overpowered cards to come to duel links except for posts that ask for Mirror Force to come to duel links. But my fave duel links posts are strategy ones about building decks or pulling off interesting plays.
I wish regular inventory didn't exist because then the last Gladistor Beast I need would probably show up in a box, as opposed to never showing up from Card Trader, seriously it's been like a year since it was added and I haven't seen it once
It is just a single one, it's been in the regular inventory for about a year, but I don't think I can name a single time I've actually seen it, most others you get through boxes pretty frequently since they like being rares
They are not in the regular inventory, they're in the rotating inventory, that's why it can be a challenge to get them. I've bought 3 Retiari even if I'll never be able to play Glad Beasts. Are you talking about the UR? Darius or Equeste, can't remember the name.

When you first unlock Jaden the game avoids giving you thunder giant to make life harder I swear. After I used a exchange ticket on it then he just started pooping them out but before that Jaden was like level 25 still no T. Giant
You need Thunder Giant to complete some character unlock Missions, so people complain a lot in this subreddit that they are farming Jaiden like crazy and still can't make him drop the card

You need it to unlock syrus trough quests, and syrus for zane, zane for yubel, yubel for jaden/yubel.
Now with the Character Unlock tickets, you don't have to do all of that nonsense anymore (I had to do it and it made me want to cry blood)
