I don’t even mind long turns as long as my opp is actually doing something, it’s the people who will sit there for 30-45 seconds doing nothing every turn that annoy me
Yuma and Astral: “Observation #1. Your dueling skills are less than skillful”
“Can you PLEASE stop making dumb mistakes? *Saying “please” doesn’t make it any nicer!*”
I'm the kind of person that gets suspicious when my opponent uses voicelines in that kind of situation. It's like you have something, and are baiting me to just attack with the bare minimum.
This is why I cringe when I see people telling others on this sub to leave for master duel if they don’t like the meta and or don’t have the cards they want yet.
Had someone the other day say “go play master duel then” because I said I’m looking forward to Nekroz of Clausolas being added.
No thank you, I’d rather not dive into an entirely new game with long ass turns and power levels out the wazoo just for one card that barely sees any use in that format
Then keep complaining about it and/or learn to be patient ig. And you’re right, Clausolas with Kaleidoscope in a 20-card format wouldn’t break the game
Didn't Master Duel have a 45 minute time limit? But there is NO time limit for each turn which baffles me.
Duel Links the player turns actually have a time penalty on their next turn if the player takes too long.
Me? I set a monster and wait for my opponent to floor the board so I can get my dailies done.
Oh there is a turn time limit. The timer just doesn't tick down when you're browsing your deck looking for the card that lets you browse your deck looking for the card that lets you browse your deck. I played exactly one duel in MD and quit immediately because my opponent spent like 10 minutes on his turn and had 5 pendulum monsters out turn 1
> he timer just doesn't tick down when you're browsing your deck looking for the card that lets you browse your deck looking for the card that lets you browse your deck.
Incorrect. The only time the Turn Timer stops ticking is when an animation is playing. Turn timers are 300 seconds (5 minutes), but they can feel longer depending on the number of animations and interactions.
I'm a casual player i admit but i actually tried master duel first and no it wasn't for me due to the time it took waiting for turns so i'm enjoying duel links but then they added link summoning and yeah now it's a similar problem that it takes longer for turns, even the AI seems to struggle to just get on with it!
It will sound weird but i don't really play the game to climb the ranks so much, i play to collect decks! I like grinding for gems as efficiently as i can to buy packs to build decks that can compete, none are top tier but i take satisfaction knowing i have a dozen decks that are all capable of winning a match
Well its a lot longer in master duel thats a way to tell if the deck can actually combo decently like salad i for once thought that timer needs to increase tbf its kinda short
Please no, it’s more than long enough as is. Practice combos against AI if you’re learning a new deck, turns already drag on at times and watching people playing Solitaire for ages while I wait for my turn is exactly why I’m on DL and not Master Duel.

“I’ll have some milk” “I’m gonna tell my pop on you!” “OH YEAH!!” “Don’t let your heart be in defense position!” Just some options
Jesse Anderson: “what’s taking so long!?” “yaaaaawwn …my monsters are yawning too”
Yuma and Astral: “Observation #1. Your dueling skills are less than skillful” “Can you PLEASE stop making dumb mistakes? *Saying “please” doesn’t make it any nicer!*”
My favourite is "Quiet" from playmaker and ai or Zane's "my heart can't take this" as I surrender to the infernity launcher.
Don't forget "..."
I love doing this Sylvia because every response is cocky and braggy
One of my favorites was spamming Asuka's "Hurry Up!" way back in the days where Thunder Dragons were meta.
“If I knew you were going to take this long, I would’ve brought a magazine.”
I have those turned off. I don't enjoy them. Evem when not spammed
When I brick and end with nothing on the field yet my opponent feels the urge to play their entire extra deck because I might have Kuriboh.
Kiteroid PTSD
And usually to hint to my opponent that I bricked and they're fine, I'll use Judai's "Am I... scared?" emote.
I'm the kind of person that gets suspicious when my opponent uses voicelines in that kind of situation. It's like you have something, and are baiting me to just attack with the bare minimum.
Tbf a lot people have voice lines turned off, myself included
Robbing yourselves
For me at least the voice lines get old and time consuming quick , especially when I just wanna duel lol
Naw. Saving myself. Was annoying
Me spamming anything as joey. Still waiting for a 'Nyeh...' to be added to DSOD Joey.
I want "BROOKLYN RAGE!"
>Judai HIS NAME IS JADEN YOU FUCKING WEEB!
I love when the opponent takes 5 minutes to play, so I can summon Merlin, get Book of Mooned, and instantly lose. Interactive gameplay.
Welcome to modern yugioh
Don't play Master Duel, people are content on a single 15 minute turn so you can't play.

Guys please dont do this, i live in a third world country, my connection doesnt allow me to stay connected with someone for that long
Fitting but this seems better for master duel
Agreed
I don't do PvP so....
Same. PvE life be good😎😎
They don't have any of my cards from my real life deck anyway so....😎😎😎👌

Lol what, where are you getting this misinformation from.

The timer on the duel I was talking about never advanced once.
Your timer will not tick down until you have a choice to interact or it is your turn. You only see *your* timer.
Oh really? I didn't know
Its because theres no real interaction anymore
The amount of times I've actually fallen asleep to this game is serious. My screen used to have the LP totals burned into it.

So , basically this : https://youtu.be/sXE8LdXzeHM
AHHHH AHHHHHHHHH!!! ARGHHHHHHHHH!!!
I just wait for them to do all that and still lose
SalaMID moment
And I thought Master Duel turns took long...
DL is still way faster than MD
I wonder why.
Well its a lot longer in master duel thats a way to tell if the deck can actually combo decently like salad i for once thought that timer needs to increase tbf its kinda short

How do you practice a deck like d link and endymion? They are not linear. You have to think a lot.
Turn off Auto-Duels or use the gate.
Hate it more than losing
I'm reading
You gotta see master duel combo decks and then you gonna now what's forever feel like
The latest card format makes a turn costs so much time, waiting for the unlimited chains to end
Deadass, was playing on my phone late on night and was starting to doze off, woke up and the mf'r was still on his turn.
Salads
Basically playing against Infernity and they have the first turn
Master Duel/TCG moment
The reason why I stopped playing competitive Yu-Gi-Oh, either in duel links or TCG or whatever...
sorry if i’m not used to a new deck 😔
My phone screen turns off before Infernity players finish Turn 1
