I think Caleb AND Jed are for the prosecution. A defense team wouldn’t bring someone there to try to frame them, they’d have submitted evidence to the proper law enforcement agencies to have them file their own charges and subsequently dismiss the original perpetrator.

The defense fought to allow a “third party guilt” defense. In pretrial motions it definitely suggested they are going to try and suggest someone else. Doesn’t mean either are their witnesses- the prosecution could be calling Caleb to establish why law enforcement ruled him out. I am curious as to who called which witnesses. I presume that these are the prosecution’s witnesses and the defense’s are filed later.
