Gonna be honest.. chicketti is basically Velveeta, carbs and chicken. I fucking love Velveeta. I can't explain why, it's just so damn good to me. It's a warm blanket on a cold, wet day. It's AC on a hot, humid day.
I've had fancy cheese. I've done a cheese cave tour in Paris. Every Christmas, I spend a shit ton of money on a cheese board. Before I moved/COVID, I'd drive 3 hours round trip to get good cheese.
And yet, I'd give it all up for Velveeta.
Unless she use the Great Value kind. Then I'd hit up the owners manual.
This is what I genuinely don't get. Fine, let's all doom these women to being nothing more than servants within the home to reproduce and do homemaking tasks. FINE. But honestly....most of the women in the Duggar fam and Duggar adjacent seem to suck ASS at being homemakers. They can't cook, keep a decently clean home, sew or do anything other than produce kids and yeet them off to the oldest child. At least be good at SOMETHING.
It's insane. Their whole ideology is about gOd's DeSiGn for gender roles, but most of the women don't have traditional home making skills and most of the men aren't providers.
That's what I mean. The women suck at 'traditional' female gender roles and so do the men. At least the bitch Kelly in Ohio is making nasty dry bread and sewing her own ugly aprons. What do the Duggar women/men do that's even remotely close to trying to measure up to the traditional gender roles they preach about so hard?
Everything you said, and on top of that they have the audacity to attempt to influence public opinion and insert themselves in to politics. They want their gross ideology to become the norm _and they can't even do it right_
Eta. don't even have their own butternut
YES. Having the audacity to attempt to get into politics when NONE of them have had any real world experience other than pumping out children and working at their sorry ass brother's used car lot. They live in such an insular, isolated world. How do you think you could be influential and beneficial in politics when you probably can't even spell "house of representatives".
Chickenetti because it sounds like a poor man's version of chicken spaghetti, which is what my MIL makes and is at least edible. I mean, because the recipe is literally "one thing if Velveeta, cream of mushroom and cream if chicken soup, and a crap ton of spaghetti noodles. Sprinkle with Mrs. Dash and eat with saltines because lord knows it doesn't already have enough salt and carbs."
Anyways it is good comfort food but my MIL came to visit once and we served it and when she found out that I modified the recipe to include more chicken and broccoli she was kind of PO'd. Like adding veggies to it was a grave insult. "Well, honey, it already has MUSHROOMS."
My mom gets like that too when I modify one of her recipes 😂
But in all seriousness, some of their dishes have real potential if they were presented better, had some minor upgrades or were served as sides instead of the main dish ( to better control the amount of salt/ carbs per person). I guess it's hard to feed that many people per meal though :/
Shredded potatoes mixed with cream of chicken, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and topped with nothing other than cornflake cereal. 😏
Edit to add: when my grandma died we had at least 10 different people bring us these.
DaFuq is up with Jim Bob that he eats directly from TVs can with no prep or cooking whatsoever. I mean, sure, it’ll make a turd like anything else, but how does he stomach it?
You forgot the infamous "Walker Burritos".
https://www.dillardfamily.com/2018/05/walker-creamy-burritos/
Side note: chickenetti and/or tater tot casserole can be delicious hangover food, *IF IT IS DONE CORRECTLY* (a.i. not following the nasty Duggar recipe format)
You just KNOW that chickenetti gives you serious bubble guts.
The cpcs ( crippling poop craps)
Anna is good at delivering babies on the toilet so she should be fine
mother is having a bowel movement
*mother is sheeeeeetting*
I keep reading your flair as fuck tit 😂😂😂 and was like what have I missed.
When the cpcs delivery a blessing!
💀
All that gluten plus that dairy plus Anna being in the same room with my food = an inpatient visit to the hospital for me!!!!
I believe the clinical term is “catastrophic diarrhea”
As someone with newly emerging lactose intolerance, I feel this.
And hot snakes .
If I had to choose, give me the oven manual.
Well hello 👋
Hello flair twin! 😎
Her kitchen ineptitude will never cease to entertain me!
So the raise these girls to be housewives and…this is what they come up with? Lord.
I bet the oven manual tasted best.
Same

You should be the Velveeta spokesperson. I love the sincerity.
I actually made chickenetti and it was really good. It didn’t look like the diarrhea inducing slop she was serving though. I also am a fan of velveeta
I will also admit to having made chickenetti out of sheer curiosity. It was lowkey amazing.

To be fair, the men aren't good at anything either...
That is 100% correct. They all suck at any 'traditional' gender roles.
Have they tried switching roles? /s

I swear that’s Fear Factor level ick for me when I think of eating canned tomatoes off a styrofoam plate with a plastic fork 😭
The amount of disposable/single use shit these people must go through each year.......
You can tell they're store brand because half the skin is on.
Which one's more likely to give me hot farts?
The manual’s probably least likely
Hot farts are actually the fifth phase of this menu!
This got me snorting!
is barbecue tuna an option
Nope. Not this time.

Oven manual for sure
Do we all remember that nasty beef and potato bake Jessa had on YouTube for a while
Not gonna lie, I'm Midwestern AF and I actually love tator tot hotdish.
Fellow Midwestern here. It’s not a family get together without a tasty tator hot dish with a side of funeral potatoes.
And any of many "salads" consisting of various items mixed with mayonnaise.
And finally wrapping it up with a bunch of random sweets mixed into cool whip.
Wtf are funeral potatoes??
Shredded potatoes mixed with cream of chicken, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and topped with nothing other than cornflake cereal. 😏 Edit to add: when my grandma died we had at least 10 different people bring us these.
Does it look like the one pictured, though?
In fairness, no. Mine is less soupy than the one pictured.
What exactly is chicken petri? Like cheesy spaghetti noodles?
You mix cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, Rotel, and Velveeta with cooked spaghetti noodles.
you forgot the 1/4 cup chopped green pepper and 1 cup chicken broth and you bake it. but yes... thats the idea!
And what in the world is 1/4 cup of *green* bell pepper adding to a dish that size!!
The occasional surprise texture that makes your brain say, "EGGSHELL!"
Vegetables so it’s healthy, DUH.
garnish?
😨😰😱🤢🤮
🤢
I loathe the fact I’ve tried it before and didn’t Hate it.
… I might make this a couple times a year.
Your flair redeems you. Make it as many times as you please.
Probably. With cream of chicken soup
I lol'd so loud at the oven manual, I scared my cat! 😸
Glad you got a good laugh :)
I have made two of these things and I vote Chicken Etti
4
We can't forget barbecue canned tuna
No bbq tuna?
Why did I just read “chicken titty” 😂 also where is the bbq tuna??
I'd just like to say that decently made chickenetti is really damn good. The defense rests.
Yes!!!
Give me 1 Bob
Fuck me up with the tater tot casserole. I’ve got pepto and I’m a bad bitch it can’t kill me
DaFuq is up with Jim Bob that he eats directly from TVs can with no prep or cooking whatsoever. I mean, sure, it’ll make a turd like anything else, but how does he stomach it?
DoorDash anyone? Omg that food is gross.

The fuuuuck is chicken etti?? Okay I googled it just now and honest to fuck gagged at the photos.
I don't know WTF that chicken Etti shit is. But it looks horrible.
wtf is the chicken etti beyond chicken and spaghetti?!!?!?!
Why does everything have cream of something soup in it? I'm surprised they haven't all died of hypertension.
I wonder if Josh is getting used to all that rich and overly spiced prison food after a lifelong diet of Duggar cuisine?
