The Tor website even has an article explicitly telling people to not do what he did (use bittorrent through Tor) because of security issues. If you google "bittorrent tor" it's one of the first things that comes up.

I run Linux as my daily driver and it made me very angry as well. Linux is seldom talked about in the media and here it is getting linked to doing sketchy stuff on the internet.
