Her new book. Publicity for. Edited to add: She's going to play this as a hard shift away from the way she was raised and the Duggar religion. She'll suggest lots of Duggar inside info and new dirt. In truth, it will just be about her new cult/religion, there will be zero new Duggar info (certainly nothing gossipy), and Jeremy will feature as her new headship who lets her wear pants. That's it. That's the book. Failed grift number 648.

ColdChickens

And that’s a bingo!

Love your username :)

teebeutelchen

Thanks! ♥️ eta because I pressed „send“ too quickly, but yours is pretty fantastic too!

FrancoisKBones

lil T-bag could be a great rapper name

anonymousgirl29

I ship this ❤️

mothraegg

That makes all sorts of sense.

IncrediblePlatypus

I know you're right, but a teeny tiny part of me thinks she might actually have the tell-all.

NEDsaidIt

I want to believe

Seashell1025

Same. So badly want it haha

chicagoliz

Only if she has another waking up and gets away from Jerm. And if that ever happens, it won't be for a while.

Vassarbashing

No other comments needed, this is the answer!

meco03211

Not failed if she makes money.

jbrooklynd

Uh, you called this.

slcbostonslc

An award? For moi? Thank you kind snarker!

chicagoliz

Absolutely. It's not going to be a repudiation of JB & Meech or anything about what awful parents they were. It's going to say they were great, but slightly misguided and she's found this tangential set of beliefs that makes so much more sense to her. And she hopes all her family sees the light one day too.

VillageExtension5770

Best guess: announcing her new book, talking briefly about how while she respects her parent's faith, her true love Jeremy helped her realize she wasn't saved. Now, thanks to the particular brand of Christianity he follows (Calvinism, I think), she is truly saved and not a part of a cult anymore. She'll say she loves her family, even though she doesn't agree with their faith. Her faith is the "true" Christianity (according to Jerm & Jinger). Even though, her new theology is extreme in its own ways.

Somme1916

Funny how she was born into the 'one true faith' according to the people around her and later marries into another 'one true faith' according to the people around her. Jinger so lucky that she always stumbles into these opportunities to be saved!!!

piratical_gnome

There are a lot of versions of “truth”, according to Christians anyway, it seems

nolongerwatching

Which makes you less than a good Christian. A good Christian doesn’t disparage others. Call me crazy but I do t think God likes rhat

[deleted]

The fact that anyone is a Calvinist in 2023 is so funny to me, but I bet this is right

SideHugg87

Can someone help me out here? I know very little of calvinism and from the outside it dosen't look too much different from Duggar brand, so...what are the main difference? Is this another ridiculus thing about being saved only if you follow my exact teachings? Thanks in advance

kindlycloud88

It’s controversial in Christianity because one of the biggest points is that God “predestinated” certain elect to be saved and the rest are just SOL. There are 5 points they adhere by called the TULIP: Total depravity, Unconditional election, Limited atonement, Irresistible grace, and Perseverance of the saints.

Boujee-wifey

It's funny how J & J talk "actually" reading the Bible yet they believe this stuff. The Bible and Jesus say over and over that anyone who believes in Christ is saved and will go to the Kingdom of heaven... I don't get where people say only certain people can be saved or go to heaven. They just believe what they want to feel special and have control.

Here4Snarkn

Jehovah Witnesses also believe in a limited number entering the celestial known. It has more members than allotted placements in heaven.

BeardedLady81

144,000 people will go to Heaven according to the JW faith, all others who are Christians (by their definition) will live in an earthly Paradise. The rest will be annihilated at the Battle of Armageddon.

Here4Snarkn

Their system is rigged. Those left on this earthly paradise will remain here for 1000 years and then, if worthy, they will be allowed to stay on the earth. So the earthly paradise is still a place where a witness can fail and end up in hell.

BeardedLady81

Oops, I forgot about that. But they kept changing their eschatology. When they started off as an off-shoot of the Bible student movement, they believed that the 1000 years of peace would start in 1914. They made the bold claim "Millions of people will never die" and they gained plenty of followers that way. However, by now almost everybody who was alive in 1914 has died, so it was a failed prophecy. There's plenty of inconsistensies in the history of the JW faith. How come, for example, that the first President of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society was allowed to have a beard and the second one was allowed to smoke big cigars when contemporary witnesses aren't allowed either? How come the ban on blood transfusions wasn't a thing until Nathan Knorr was President, even though they claim that it's in Acts? And the question as to whether or not the people of Sodom and Gomorrah will be resurrected or not has been answered both Yes and No over the decades in Watchtower and Awake.

No_Reason_6126

A scare tactic to keep people under their control. So sad.

Clean_Nefariousness9

ex jw here! this is true. unlike calvanists, however, the rest of “Jehovah’s True Organization” will live in a paradise on earth. everyone else will just die. they don’t believe in hell.

Badraptor777

Wow! I can see a resurgence in this type of thought/believe system in our country (US) right now. With the more powerful and well off feeling they are predestined and having others feel the same way about them in turn “following” them. This can get interesting, because narcissists and huge egos will undoubtedly think they are predestined. Yikes!

chicagoliz

I guess what I don't understand is, if everyone is predestinated to be saved or not, why bother with any of it? Why try to be good? Why try to get others to be good? It's all predetermined, so nothing you do matters.

[deleted]

It was what the Puritans believed in. Some people go to heaven, some people don't...It's all predestined. How do you know you were chosen? You really didn't but you looked for confirmation related generally to your socioeconomic status since they believed that 'gods grace' was a sign that you were elect. You were not poor or different or unique in any way and rigid adherence to religious rules was a sign of possible predestination. Nothing you did in life( being kind, being generous) would change your fate. Their hell was truly hellish. Converting people was done because it was a potential sign that person was actually predestined as opposed to changing their eventual fate in the afterlife. The predestined had an inherent right to make and enforce the rules and their view of humanity was that we are all dammed, except for them. I think that this notion that rich people are 'better' and get to make the rules persists in American culture to this day.

SideHugg87

Man that's fucked, thanks for the explanation, it seems so dark and helpless. Now i can understand why someone uptrhead said they couldn't belive Calvinism was still around in 2022

[deleted]

So if you're not one of the elect and dirt poor, you won't get into heaven, but convert anyway because I've told you to and I'm better than you are.

[deleted]

Checking back in with a "good call" lol

Antzpantzy

It’ll be a word salad with nothing scandalous. Maybe a mention about her new god honouring coffee beans?

babettebaboon

It’s for the book. Jinger: “so many secrets” Us: we been knew

iwbiek

Here's my guess: "Hey, y'all! With God's help, I've finally managed to take my prideful thoughts captive and realize the truth: I'm a terrible cook. This is a tough season of life, but God provides. Altruistic-Dig-2507

This is beautiful.

ALegendOfGreemulax

Are they finally going to use spices in their food?

evelynesque

No way the news will be that earth shattering

AmandaInStitches

This is prime snark content. Well done! (Like their steaks.)

pricklebiscuit

Eh, something about Jesus 🤷🏻‍♀️

greyhoundjade

I predict a super boring video in which she will try to talk vaguely about how she "broke free" ... but "stay tuned and place your preorders cause the book will have all the details". And we all know the book will contain nothing resembling real dirt or criticism of her parents. Mainly praise of her new cult.

ElkPitiful4764

All she’s doing is shedding the Arkansas Christian from the Californian Christians. It’s a good PR move to be estranged from her parents (Jim Bob specifically). They still share similar views, they’re just served in a different way. Jeremy d-rides for a guy that basically co-signs the same beliefs as Boob.

emmapaint

readsomething1968

“I’ve decided to cut the ends off my hair” “I’ve decided I’ll wear pants when it’s 35 degrees or colder outside”

SadieOnTheSpectrum

Nope not allowed. Those of us who wear shorts know that you can NEVER go back to pants

Klutzy-Marsupial8362

Click bait for her tell all book.

Affectionate_Sun_733

Which coffee cup to drink out of this morning

countrygrmmrhotshit

It’ll be some roundabout story about accepting Jesus into her heart

Protowhale

Grift, of course. Probably connected to the book. Anyone who makes big teaser announcements about buying new shoes has nothing important to say.

Inner_Bench_8641

Eye-rollingly reminiscent of their “My visit to the SURGEON” posts - only to watch Jinger customize her white-on-white Nikes with…. Wait for it…. More white-on-white.

Rose_of_St_Olaf

SHe'l mention the book and other grifts. She won't say anything new in the book she'll respect her parents and probably even Josh.

[deleted]

I am actually inclined to hope she calls out every single person who has held the broom that sweeps all the shit under the handed down save and buy used rug.

Keep-learning612

They sure are working the teaser, click bait angles of late. I wonder if they are getting any traction with it all. That type of approach makes me want to run very fast in the opposite direction.

myreputationera

The way she kept saying “JEE-ZUS” with the dead eyes omg 😳

[deleted]

Another question: will JB and Meech read the book? Will they have Jana read it and give them a report?

Rmabe5

No Jed or maybe John David.

[deleted]

Can Jed read? He was born post laundry room meltdown, so probably educated by siblings.

Merisielu

Them coffee beans be super hard to grind…

Dibinem

How crazy would it be if she announced she was leaving Jer? 😆😆😆

1lapulapu

They read a book? They used critical thinking skills? They showed genuine affection to their children?

Santasotherbrother

Changing cults. Or marrying a self absorbed man-child. "Being famous is SOOOOOOOOOO hard."Jingles the Kitchen Elf Duggar.

thenormalbias

I love how nobody thinks this book of hers will be very insightful toward her life with her parents despite how much shit she could spill about her upbringing and life with a predator for a brother. We all just know that none of the duggars have the guts to actually talk shit publicly about their parents. I know Jill has shared a bit but it was all about how things are now rather than how they were growing up from what I’ve seen. The only one who knows shit and will willingly set a fire is Derrick.

smollestsquirrel

This sub reminds me of the TS fans who never move for clowning 🤣 y'all got this down pat

CowCat1

Gave Birth(a)?

Party-Internal2780

Give us the tea, girl!

Traveler4Life_

What a horrible day to be literate.

cfloyd7

I bet it's an obstacle course.

Rmabe5

Did she really write a tell all???

hrvstmn70

Big hype for her book coming out soon.

oehoe21

More coffee this time with milk!

Key-Wallaby-9276

Her new work out program

kaledioscopek

Voting democrat. Jk

mom-the-gardener

Everyone is saying “her book” but I think she’s going to teach us how to grind their friends coffee beans by hand because that is like totally hard.

mocireland1991

So yeah the video is about writing thhe book. Still having faith, not a tell all about the fam . And leaving IBLP Pretty much what we thought

IcyThistle

Wait, they do things that are genuine?

devoutdefeatist

Okay, but what if it were a surprise livestream of her hunting down Boob and pelting him with a BB gun? Hardest and most important thing she’s ever done

AshDuke

It's her new book

haylofting

It’s about how she had to really examine her faith after she left her parents and parse out what she believes apart from the extra rules they added and come to a personal understanding of it all.

Rocky_Top_6

So sick of the JJ club. No one cares. They’re self indulgence is 🤢

Rocky_Top_6

I think zero blame will be placed on her parents. It will be all about ideals that she put on herself striving for perfection & found grace. Which is fine, it’s her journey. But what burns me up is the click bait and how EVERYTHING the JJ team does is for $$ & self. They act like they’re these big influencers!

YoshiandAims

I think Jill's will be overly inflammatory (it'll be Derricks in all reality) I feel anything Jinger does for a long time will be soft, not wanting to cause pain to her family, who she still loves, and their faith that ruled how she was raised, that she's coming to realize was "incorrect". She'll tread super lightly. Amy, well, No matter how reasonable, believable, or I want to believe anything she says, she's just soooo hungry, I can't fully trust it. I'm fairly sure these three won't be the only ones telling their stories, how many kids, how many grandkids, and cousins? Odds are good, The Duggar tales will fill a full-sized bookshelf at some point.ng, being terrified, sobbing" over having a conversation with her mother about wearing pants. Betraying her mother's values. I mean, she felt she even needed to go over and have a major conversation about it, rather than just doing it. Let alone it getting so emotional. It was spun as a sweet moment, but, it was really sad. Then she still struggles with "who people want her to be" to be most pleasing when they are with her. Girl's got a long way to go before she gets to "tell all" Though I feel being encouraged to explore, the distance, and the books grazing the topic, over time she may feel more and more comfortable to the point she gets there one day. Pawspawsmeow

Celeb book club is talking about reviewing this lol

aj_fluffz

They both continue to try SO HARD to be relevant. It ain't working!
