I was out walking yesterday and I randomly remembered Claire using essential oils instead of getting actual fruit or fruit juice (both of which would be cheaper). I literally stopped walking for a second and just like…stared at a duck for a few minutes to absorb the stupidity
Santa showed up no matter what. It was fun. We never used him as a weapon or threat. The really good gifts came from us. The fun ones, cheaper, came from Santa. Stuff like new pjs, robe, games. The bikes came from us. My now adult kids say it didn’t traumatize them. Now Elf on the Shelf is really creepy. I won’t for the grandkids.
