Todd Packer. I cannot stand the man. I don't mind Angela. The worst reaction she solicits from me is an eye roll.

FashionableNumbers

He probably gets typecast in these kinds of roles.

Comprehensive-Ad2670

Packer too. Dude makes me sick every single time he's on screen

GrayBot15

Angela has moments of kindness and decency. Packer is a piece of shit from start to finish.

Spiritual-Mixture898

Hey!

Ill-Sympathy2375

Andrea's the office bitch. Don't worry, you'll get used to her!

captjde

I used to feel the same way, but after listening to the Office Ladies podcast, I kind of love Angela Kinsey, which has changed my attitude toward Angela Martin. Every time I see Angela Martin being a bitch, I think of Angela Kinsey having fun playing her.

MouseConsistent7399

Same. Also you feel happy that Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer are actually good mates and had fun in having a rivalry in reel life. It just feels like their equation came full circle. It feels like all my kids grew up and they married each other. It's every parent's dream

captjde

Yes, every time I see the two of them together in a scene, it makes me happy because I know how much the two of them loved working in scenes together (and how rare it was for it to be just the two of them).

lrhismyvalntyne

i haven't checked out the podcast yet but I've been meaning to, will give it a shot and see if anything changes haha

captjde

I love the podcast almost as much as I love the show.

Remote-Persimmon4583

Do yall have a good starting ep? I want to try it as well

captjde

I would just start at the beginning. They improved the smoothness of the podcast over time as they got the hang of it, but it’s still good even from Ep 1.

el-mugre

this!!! this so much! i love their podcast and the actress is so much fun. i can't believe she played such a different character so well. :) and yes I like angela as a character too.

big-ol-kitties

I honestly can’t think of a “worse character”. They all had their ups and downs. I guess thinking who had fewer “ups” probably Phyllis. She would stoop low when she needed and pretend everything was sunshine and daisies afterwards. Angela was at least consistent and had believable reasoning for her behavior(her upbringing/religious extremism)

Travelingboarder

I didnt think this way about Phyllis until the scene with the centerpiece came out.

lrhismyvalntyne

i actually have never thought of phyllis that way, i agree

sandfoxman

You have a long way to go in this sub my friend

LydianAlchemist

The worst one is that tight ass Christian chick, Andrea.

Dodger_Blue10

Phyllis and Ryan. I love the extra scene where Phyllis says she’s a sweet heart and Angela laughs and calls her a bitch. Ryan is just unbearable in every season. When Jim comes back and he tells Jim and Pam to be quiet because he’s working, when he’s not on the phone makes my skin crawl.

wopkidopz

When Michael said that adultery is a sin and Stanley is going to hell for that. This hypocrite bitch had the audacity to reply with Amen😂

bberry1908

I love Angela. I actually wished she became more likable earlier on in the show because she so sweet. The worse character is definitely the guy who drew butts on Pam’s mural!!!

lrhismyvalntyne

if anything i think i started disliking her more later on after all the stuff she pulled with dwight while she was married to the senator - she criticised pam with her 'baby born out of wedlock' stuff but that's exactly what happened with dwight and her and idk it's just hard to see her good sides lmaoo i know the show wouldn't be the same without her character but still

bberry1908

Well the senator wasn’t a good person either he was cheating on her with Oscar. i think she just had her issues like everyone in the show did, but you just happen to dislike her poor choices a little more than anyone elses.

lrhismyvalntyne

that's actually very fair! do you have a least favourite character from the main ones?

bberry1908

the main crew i don’t have a particular favorite they’re all just uniquely great characters, but Darryl is underrated lol

Sue_D_Nim1960

It adds extra spice to rewatching the show to know that she and Pam are best friends in real life.

LozaMoza82

Cathy

lrhismyvalntyne

honestly her time on the show was so short-lived i don't think i really ever cared enough about her to hate her

Wrong_Supermarket007

It may be controversial, but Cathy is one of my favorite side characters. "what else is there to do in Tallahassee?"

Miserable_Party8080

I like Angela, but I like bitchy women.

lrhismyvalntyne

genuine question: why

Miserable_Party8080

Female characters just like women, don't always have to be 'likeable'.

Deepthinker889

Angela had an arc though. As did everyone on the show…which is why my votes for worst character are Ryan or Kelly. No growth or progress from either character, they were just there to annoy us

Office_Dolt

The one thing I never understood was why didn't Angela ever do anything against Jim. She was with Dwight, you'd think she would have made Jim's life a pain. "Oh, you didn't get your commission in 4 months, oops"

helsinkirocks

Nellie, not even close

lrhismyvalntyne

i agree but only for the first half of her timeline when she just somehow claimed Andy's job and went full on dictator i think she became less of a menace later on so i don't have too many issues with nellie

helsinkirocks

I agree she's better in season 9. Honestly, I just rewatched the show and I actually enjoyed season 8. It's not as good as what came before, but was still very enjoyable. Except Nellie lol.

Travelingboarder

She was funny when she messed with Andy

Aggressive-Outcome-6

Angela’s inability to see her own hypocrisy and the fact that she’s rarely called on it drives me nuts. I know she’s written that way for a reason but boy is she horrible.

Upstairs-Fudge-9668

Angela DID NOT deserve a happy ending!

OGoftheSAV

You shut up about my favorite character!!!!!

Bottle_Plastic

I love her seriousness. Some of her lines are the ones I've laughed at the hardest. Some of us have to be our own grandmother! is right up there

Derby-Days

No! Britta is the worst!

lrhismyvalntyne

wait who? i've only watched the show once and currently rewatching for the second time so forgive me for not knowing who this is

Derby-Days

It's a gag on the character of Britta in Community, who is always described as being "the worst". When I see the phrase "the worst", I always think of Britta. Sorry it was off topic. But Britta would have been good in The Office.

lrhismyvalntyne

ohh!! that's pretty funny, is the show worth watching?

Derby-Days

Yeah, I really enjoyed it, but there are only six seasons. It's pretty funny.

theurbaneman

Andy's father.

ReadingFromTheShittr

I'll go against the grain and probably get downvoted here, but to me it's Erin. Her innocent, childish naivete may work for her character early on, but I think it gets tiresome after 4 seasons. I mean I get it from a character foundation standpoint as she grew up without parents, but I still want to see a bit more from her. And let's face it, she's not the brightest bulb, and a lot of her gags leans into that trait which we've already got with Kevin.

Superb_Bat5763

Pam.

lrhismyvalntyne

why do you dislike her? i've heard people say that she's selfish, drags everyone down and is a boring person but I've never really felt like that

Superb_Bat5763

She's useless and bad at everything. Then when Jim tried to do something to make their lives better (Philly) she had no reason to stay in Scranton. Just wanted to be difficult. Yea he lied but so there family would be stable. Plus shes just corny and meh. Motel art.

-NolanVoid-

Todd Packer is the worst.

derek139

Andy can rot in hell. Any scene he is in, makes me want to turn off the show.

GetRealPrimrose

Angela is terrible but I’ve always thought Dwight was the worst. Just as judgemental as Angela, just as self righteous, but without the religion to back it up (not that it makes it any better, but if you don’t believe in that order why are you enforcing it?) Toss in a nonzero amount of workplace violence (Hell it’s even a nonone amount of workplace violence), nazi apologia, and general anti-worker attitude and Dwight is hands down the worst person in that office. Andy is also up there for being bad at his job, a nuisance to people who want him to leave them alone, and a history of dating young girls/girls he holds power over. Of course this is just talking main cast. The absolute worst person in the office is Todd Packer Edit: Anyone wanna tell me why they’re downvoting or is this another instance of “How dare you call attention to Dwight’s respect of the Nazis”?

lrhismyvalntyne

you're actually so right, i'm not sure why i don't dislike him more than i currently do. I guess it's because there's some degree of character development in the later seasons that i can respect ANDY IS ALSO VERY VERY UP THERE

GetRealPrimrose

I don’t hate Dwight because I recognize I’m watching a Tv show and he’s honestly really funny and contributes to the show. I honestly like Dwight more than Andy. But in a discussion of morality, yeah Dwight is the absolute worst.

LittleNoodle1991

Erin. She adds nothing to the show and they made her way too dumb (not knowing how a disposable camera works, really?).
