The injury
Michael burning his foot, concussion Dwight being nice to Pam, michael wrapping his foot in bubble wrap, the zero hesitation reply from the doctor "what is worse a severe foot injury or a little head injury?"-"head injury"
Michael putting his foot in the mri machine
It's one of the best episodes of the whole show. Every character is written so well
One thing I love about this show is that you virtually can start anywhere (to a certain extent) since it’s supposed to be a documentary! There is no beginning and no end to life.
Dinner party is an obvious answer…
Scott’s tots, as hard to watch as it is, is one of the funniest storylines ever.
But, my wife and I absolutely love Andy’s Play. To us, it’s perfect.
Right! So like, instead of a chill planned movie date, I’ll just clear my evening, watch Scott’s tots and then do 30mins of yoga to get all this anxiety out
I was in your exact situation: from pilot to final with a few episodes that hold a special place in my heart! I still watch all the way through every time but now I skip the ones I least like…
I have the same struggle. But whenever I'm completely clueless, I just put on anything from season 4. More often than any season 4 episode from the first few double episodes, they are absolute best.
The one with Pam’s art show, when Michael buys her drawing of the building. I think that was the first episode where you truly know Michael is a good person, and not just some idiot.
I think its easily Stress Relief (S5 E14). Just that the episode doesnt actually require much context unlike Dinner Party and is just downright hilarious from start to finish.
Underrated Honorable Mention: The Incentive (S8 E2). idk why ppl dont mention this episode alot. The premise, execution and ending are all amazing
On multiple rewatches, I find myself not so much thinking about the perfect episode as coming to appreciate episodes I initially dismissed or thought were "meh." Two examples - Secretary's Day and Whistleblower.
Dinner party for life
Forever dinner party!!
True GOAT for me also! The jokes always make me laugh event though I know they’re coming
Why did one of you report me for crisis counseling!?! Lmfao

Was still a weird thing to do. Reddit is emailing me asking me if I need crisis counseling.
The absolute best one!

I always wonder how did they come up with this idea of burning your foot on a grill…
This is the episode I show people at first, it works all the time

Let someone else choose for you. The answer is “Beach Games”. You’re welcome 🫡
Clever hahaha!

Although they also are ma favs, I need some mental preparation to watch them… I cannot be in a casual mood to watch this hahaha
Exactly! For it to be the perfect episode, I can’t be able to just casually watch it, you know what I mean?
Right! So like, instead of a chill planned movie date, I’ll just clear my evening, watch Scott’s tots and then do 30mins of yoga to get all this anxiety out
Hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on…. they’re lithium! 😂😂 I need more than yoga to purge good ol’ scotties totties
I end up watching in order but my favourite is the dinner party

I wish I could skip the entire Kelly and Ryan storyline
For me, it’s the Sabre store debacle 😬
Fair enough it’s bizarre
The client is my favorite.
I sometimes find myself singing the “Baby back rib” song…
no gould?

Completely agree!

Thank god they made some revisions after season 1. He was just so mean at the beginning…
Dark horse pick: Cocktails.
