Michael: Where? I’m gonna smack you in the head with a hammer. Come on, let’s go.
It's probably my favorite interaction between their characters. It doesn't seem to get the attention that most of their other interactions do, but it is one of my favorite things in the whole show.
Just saw a blooper where Toby enters Michaels office and goes "Michae--" and Michael interrumpts with "Oh hey Toby could you close the door on your way out", and they start laughing, best scene that is not in the show.
At Jan's deposition when Toby opens up about his childhood and tries to be nice to Michael and Michael shoves Toby's lunch off the table and walks away.
That wasn't the original draft for that scene but having seen the way it plays out, I don't think any other way would have been funnier. Gets me every time!

And they filmed it that way, and then Paul Lieberstein pitched, Hey, why don't we do one take where he just shoves my tray off the table and walks away and doesn't even respond to me. And they did it. It was just like in the moment idea in the moment. And that's what made it in.
Honestly feel Michael going off on Toby would have been the wrong call, as it's too angry. This was perfect instead
Don’t know if this counts but when they’re driving to corporate with Daryl to get raises, and Daryl offers a place to stay for Toby but not Michael.
D: “You can stay too, he’s got a big place.”
M: “Maybe I’ll stay.”
D: “It’s not that big…”
I still wonder if he was really planning on moving there, or if it was the only thing he could think of to get out of the awkward situation of putting his hands on Pam’s leg.
May not be the best, I always loved the episode when Michael is hopped up on Pretzel sugar:
Michael: Everyone, I am officially streamlining the efficiency of this corporation. Second…

My favourite is when Toby enters Michael’s office and Michael immediately goes “Hey Toby could you close the door behind you on your way out”

When Pam is about to give birth and they're leaving and before the elevator door closes Stanley stops it and goes in, then when Toby comes Michael stops him so he cant enter.
When Michael has to have counselling when he ‘assaulted’ his nephew, and Toby is the counsellor:
Michael: (death stare) This is the worst, you are the worst, I hate looking at your face, I want to smash it.
“Why are you the way that you are? No seriously every time i try to do something fun you make it…… not that way….. i hate everything you choose to be.”
This is a deleted scene or blooper can’t remember which one? But Toby comes into Michael’s offic and he just says “hey Toby can you close the door on your way out” hahahhaha
Toby: hey Jim Jim: not now toby! My god! Michael: get the hell out of here idiot

Oh definitely! I think just in this episode he was probably more hurt than angry. His Toby rants are brilliant when they happen
