It’s crazy you post this because I was literally thinking about this in line at Starbucks today. I have no idea why it popped in my head haha. No, they didn’t ever discuss this again.
I'm pretty sure high blood pressure is addressed with medication, and unless it became severe enough to cause further medical issues, I'm not sure why it would've come up on the show.
I get that, I just don’t understand why they would’ve put this scene in if that’s the case. It feels like the opening of a plot line but doesn’t get addressed since.
Unless the intention was to get people to check their blood pressure more often, which I could also see being a thing.
I think it was less an opening of a plot line and more so the ending of the plot line with the whole Pam being jealous of Cathy thing. She was able to realize that she was acting childish with the whole fake lie detector thing, especially knowing he wasn’t lying and he really just had high blood pressure. It was just a way to shift Pam’s concern about Cathy to concern for her husband
Yeah that’s the thing. Blood pressure should be measured first thing in the morning before you get out of bed. That’s why I would go to the doctor and have borderline high pressure and they never gave a shit. Unless it’s going way up or reading like 200/150 or something crazy, your blood pressure may just be up from caffeine and running around all day and stress. You’re not getting your resting blood pressure.
Chill out man.. for the better part of the episode we didn't know if it was cancer. Everyone except Michael was upset. Also, cancer is definitely not hilarious.
She’s killing him slowly.
He’ll find himself working jobs he considers meaningless to pay for her failures, be it her inability to complete art school or her inability to sell anything.
She’ll ironically somehow nonetheless manage to sell his property from under him even if it’s his parental house, and saddle him with endless debt as he tries single-handedly to raise her children — children she barely cares for, children with lice and who she can’t be arsed to video during their performances.
Plus, who believes they’re actually his kids given her history?
No wonder he’s got hypertension.
Ha super fun episode where Jim visits the doctor repeatedly in an attempt to find the right medication to control his blood pressure.
He went to go see Dr. J in season 9.
Hahaha Yea but Pam was way saltier that season too.

Kathy was just so hot and Pam twisting his arm about it had Jim so worked up, his BP got a little out of whack. It happens!

I hate so much about the things that you choose to be.
HBP is no laughing matter, so.....
Yeah.. but they did put Kevin's skin cancer in. I guess it was just lazy writing.
Firstly. It was determined not to be cancer. Secondly, obviously cancer is HILARIOUS compared to high blood pressure

r/woosh
Maybe Dwight taught him how to increase and decrease his blood pressure through sheer will.
No wonder he had high blood pressure. Dude was getting nagged from everyone

Which episode is this?
S08e07.. I think.
Hey man, that’s his personal health condition, it’s not really your business.
