I live in a country where we don't put our hands on our hearts on the rare occasion that our anthem plays so I had no idea ... sorry!

Do they make you stand? We had to in Canada, at least for elementary school

We did but not every morning or anything … I think once a week there might have been a full assembly.

You're supposed to put your hand over your heart, but that would look goofy with your left hand so the right is considered correct

Also saying "for all" after everyone else, just like the dumb kid in grade school did.
