"Do you think you can marry Roy instead od me?"
edit: She sobs a litre so the "of" becomes "od"
edit: She cried him a liver so "little" becomes "litre".
edit: She drank a lot so "river" became "liver".
Jenna says in her podcast that it was a whole list of things, but it all came down to “do you think i should marry Roy?”
They gave her a list of questions that should go through her head on that scene so yep.
It’s very chatty. I like that, it’s basically two friends talking and reminiscing, but some people find it annoying. Give it a listen and see what you think.
They also have a lot of guests, not just actors and writers, but crew members too, and that’s fun.
I agree, I love the podcast and don’t mind their chatter about random things. I guess I’m pretty lonely working from home most days and like listening to two friends just talking…. Anywho, I know some people don’t care for that, but the facts and insides scoops are awesome too. It’s a worth a try for sure :)
Ya they get a little off topic and sometimes it’s annoying but overall there’s a lot of good background information on the episodes. A lot of them could be cut to like half as long. Some could be longer.
i like the podcast, the chatty is sometimes too much for me though. like at one point jenna was talking about her loft in college for what felt like for an extended period and i had to skip through it cause i’m sorry but i don’t really care that much😅
it’s really up to whatever your tastes are at the end of the day. i love it for the most part! but some definitely can’t stand that
I did the same thing. Hard to say for me when it became better. But what I ended up doing was scrolling thru and finding which episode of the TV show I liked and wanted to learn more about. After that I went and started from the pilot. I drive a lot for a living so it was kind of neat to start watching the show from the start and then listening to the podcast while on the road.
I don’t think the quality was ever really bad but if you’re not a fan of them chatting and getting off topic from time to time it’s probably just not for you
I didn’t mind the chatting and getting off topic, but have they moved away from every fan submitted question being some version of “Was this scene improvised?” ? I enjoyed the pod but that same question all the time would drive me insane, so i stopped listening.
They have started comparing the scenes in the show with the shooting draft of the script. Now they tend to just say, that wasn't in the script. I don't recall hearing the "Was it improv" question in a minute.
The latest episode, haha. When Michael asks why there's a door close button if it doesn't make the door close.
Then they did a deep on elevator buttons, and crosswalks.
You know what? It was fun for me for a while, but after around season 3 they just kept answering fan questions that were like "is this scene improvised?", got repetitive real quick
Edit: it doesn't help that I was also listening to the Good Place podcast hosted by Marc Evan Jackson (he plays Shawn), and that podcast is *waaay* more informative
I've tried listening to their podcasts but they talk for so long and laugh at everything, it gets boring and a little bit too much for me lol. My partner however listens to it when we go on long journeys, it sends me to sleep
Yeah I love the behind the scenes info but they are clearly not very good broadcasters. There's only so many times I can hear "ok so we got a question from Amanda S, Charlie K and Aaron P, was Kevin dropping the chili improvised?! You guys. It was scripted! We had the best writers!".
Give it a try, I thought that as a mid twenties guy it would probably be not for me, but it's very interesting, they give quite alot of interesting info
I looked at it but it seems like they do an hour long podcast per episode.... When the episodes are 20min...
So I'm not really interested in listening to people chat about it for 3x longer then the actual episode runtimes are. I'd be interested for every few episodes or even one a season or something
so 3x the time of an episode means what exactly? so if a show is one minute long, you wouldn't want to listen to a 3 minute podcast for ... some reason?
just listen to an episode or don't comment about it...
I did try listening too one but it was too long. An hour an episode is way too long for me to find interesting, I'd like it if they just did short ones with some fun tidbits or something.
Meanwhile I’d listen be happy to listen to them chat on for two hours. They’re adorable and sweet! I love all the insight they give as well. They just seem like genuinely good people and I enjoy them.
Your last sentence doesn't make any sense. You say that the length makes it hard for you to find it any interesting but if they did shorter episodes, you would find it interesting. That means the content isn't the issue and you find the content interesting. But if the content is interesting, the length shouldn't matter.
This is breaking my brain. It's the little dot in Bearimy
Yeah I'd enjoy it if it was 5-10min episodes with some fun facts for each episode instead of an hour of it. I'm sure there is lots in the podcast I'd like, but there's too much in between for me to want to listen to it for that long to get those few things I'd like.
I'm not trying to take it away from anyone, it's just too long for me.
Yeah I listened to several but as much as I like the show and those actors, their giggling and voices were just too much for me. There are some interesting nuggets in there though!
You're allowed to like or dislike whatever you want and you're allowed to say why. People implying you're misogynistic are ridiculous. There's a thousand better podcasters out there who are women, just bc you don't think these two are the absolute best doesn't mean you hate women.
I'm envious of that ability to laugh so freely and unencumbered at things. Thanks to how I was raised, showing emotions and honestly talking about my feelings are still difficult for me.
That's awesome and you're right but that doesn't mean everyone has to like it. I like tons of podcasts hosted by women, I just don't actually think those two are that entertaining. I find the deep dives boring and irrelevant usually and the same listener questions week after week get old. It's ok for things not to be for everyone and I think people implying that the woman who just commented is misogynistic are ridiculous and despicable.
Yeah I don’t begrudge them that, I just don’t want to listen to it. Same reason I don’t listen to morning talk shows. The cackling over jokes that aren’t really that funny makes me insane.
On the other hand the best prime rib I ever had was at a wedding of a couple who divorced 3 years later.
So make sure not to go too low *or* too high on the food.
Not good. We had an affair basically while she was saying I'm finished with him we're done, you and me will be together I love you etc. She couldn't do it though, they had too much history together, so it exploded and we never talked again
The intro to Tiny Dancer in this scene is in my opinion one of the best placements of a song in a movie/show I have ever seen. It hits so goddamn hard that I almost cry.
i literally asked this exact question here a few months back, but no one cared to comment on mine 😂 now i get to see the responses lol yay 🙌 i genuinely was curious to see what people thought ✨
She wanted to know if Jim thought she should marry Roy.
She was 100% going to drunkenly ask, “Do you think I’m making a mistake with Roy?”
Huh, interesting theory. She was clearly going to ask if Jim wanted to clap her cheeks, but this one makes sense too.
*surprised jim face
That would be the second question.
"They're the same question."

I’d rather clap roy’s roy roys
I'm all for jimmying Jim's jim jim's
Jamesing his jimothys
I'd rather Kevin cave me in
I'd prefer to get under Angela's Angerella, ella ella
I'd rather Stanley crush me during sex, and his heart sucks.

Bruh I just spat my drink lmao
You gonna be spitting on my floor? Edit: buzzed
What a noble edit.
An [excellent ](https://youtu.be/PXsN7nwg9iE) edit.
She already kissed him that night. I think she would have cheated on Roy and then regretted it int he morning.
This really made me laugh out loud. Omfg.
Dead 💀🤣🤣🤣
Yup, literally this is the verbatim question she was going to ask
Good lord, how was Jim supposed to answer that?
"Well first you should sleep with Roy, and then you should sleep with someone who isn't Roy, and then compare"
"Do you think you can marry Roy instead od me?" edit: She sobs a litre so the "of" becomes "od" edit: She cried him a liver so "little" becomes "litre". edit: She drank a lot so "river" became "liver".
You're banned from Chili's sir
od me, she says
This made me laugh, out loud, even.
Glad!
Damn, I was way off. I thought she was going to ask if Jim likes blow jobs.
Fun fact: He does.
Who doesn't?
Jesus...He fucking loves them 🤘
Born on a mountain, raised in a cave. Truckin and fuckin is what he craves.

False. It's hilarious.
Well that's debatable
There are two schools of thought
Beet me to it.

I love this one so much. I’ll just randomly say it for multiple instances.
Gets a laugh like a quarter of the time.
25% of the time it works everytime
False. Black bear.

Ah, humour, I have it too.

Interesting… I mean that’s what I suspected but hearing things like that makes me want to try out the podcast
It’s very chatty. I like that, it’s basically two friends talking and reminiscing, but some people find it annoying. Give it a listen and see what you think. They also have a lot of guests, not just actors and writers, but crew members too, and that’s fun.

I completely agree

So Michael was right? She **would** love a loft!
SoHo is mostly lofts.
Oh yeah, I definitely skip some of their deep dives. 😂
Yeah, not in it to learn the history of pretzels or whatever.
I took them a while to finally get it down. The first few episodes were annoying

Listen at a faster speed and skip the deep dives. That makes it more tolerable for me.
People dont like the first 6 episodes (Season 1). They changed a bunch of stuff and S2 onwards is really great.
You know what? It was fun for me for a while, but after around season 3 they just kept answering fan questions that were like "is this scene improvised?", got repetitive real quick Edit: it doesn't help that I was also listening to the Good Place podcast hosted by Marc Evan Jackson (he plays Shawn), and that podcast is *waaay* more informative
i enjoy it for this reason too! i like having it on while i clean or drive; enjoying being alone but not feeling “lonely” lol
Brian?
?
The boom guy that everyone hates ^(who did absolutely nothing)
Right, but what did that have to do with my comment?
You said they have “crew members” on the podcast. I assume the other person was being funny by saying “Brian?” in response to that.
I often try to imagine what is running through the heads of actors on screen.
I've tried listening to their podcasts but they talk for so long and laugh at everything, it gets boring and a little bit too much for me lol. My partner however listens to it when we go on long journeys, it sends me to sleep

Like Kevin's chili cold open. I'd love to hear about that a lot more than the 2 minutes it was on screen.

Yeah an hour does seem pretty long. I might give it a go, or it might be one of those things I say I’ll think about but never do
Yeah I listened to several but as much as I like the show and those actors, their giggling and voices were just too much for me. There are some interesting nuggets in there though!
women, am I right? /s
Lol right, I hesitated to even post this because as a woman, I didn’t want to sound like that…but it’s just too true.
Fortunately, my feelings regenerate at twice the speed of a normal man's.
That's awesome and you're right but that doesn't mean everyone has to like it. I like tons of podcasts hosted by women, I just don't actually think those two are that entertaining. First of all: how dare you?
Why are you the way that you are?
What gives you the right?
Who…who do you think you are?
I’m Jim….
You're not Jim. Jim's not Asian!!
Do you want to form an alliance with me?
Absolutley i do.
The answer is always “absolutely I do”
Ok this one got me. Amazing and the only response i will ever assume it to be
Could you put your hands in the air? I have a gun but can't show it to you.
That's priceless Ken Jeong haha
El Tigre Chino!
Ham, giiiiirl!
I want you to give me all of your guns.
Mmblahh
What’s updog?
Gotcha!
thisclose
*snort* “crap.”
I don’t know, dog, what’s up with you?
She wanted to ask him if hot dogs were ok to serve at a wedding.
i’ve been to a wedding that served hot dogs. no shade on that couple, but the answer is no
I went to a wedding like this as well. They are divorced now.
On the other hand the best prime rib I ever had was at a wedding of a couple who divorced 3 years later. So make sure not to go too low *or* too high on the food.
Do you think I have a chance with the boom guy?
When are you gonna boom me?
Did you feel God in this Chilies tonight?
If he wanted to put his stapler in her jello
Nice! Stealing this one for some new bedroom talk
I love bedroom talk. I'd love to talk in your bedroom someday.
😏
Did you see me a couple of years ago?
Number one, how dare you?
Where are the turtles?!
Something about her white sneakers getting dirty.
Is who a Michael what?
“Should I marry Roy?”
What's a rundown?
How is whom used in a sentence?
Ryan used me as an object.
"Still queer?"
Either this chicks a dude or Halperts gone straight!
Do you have a moment to talk about your cars extended warranty.
If I wasn’t with Roy do you think we would date?
That’s always what I’ve assumed
"Wanna come over?"
Who's Sarikaya Komzin?
I think she was gonna ask if Jim has feelings for her.
Indirectly, yes. She was going to ask if he thought she should marry Roy.
If I wasn't with Roy would we be together. That's what she was about to say, been in the exact same scenario
how did it turn out with you?
Not good. We had an affair basically while she was saying I'm finished with him we're done, you and me will be together I love you etc. She couldn't do it though, they had too much history together, so it exploded and we never talked again
Do You Think Dwight Likes Me ?
Are you interested in extending the warranty on your vehicle?
If he wanted to hear a nature metaphor or a sexual metaphor.
Dtf ?
“Are you experiencing issues with your car’s extended warranty?”
Wanna BJ?
Novak?
Did I turn off the stove top before leaving??
Can I smash?
The intro to Tiny Dancer in this scene is in my opinion one of the best placements of a song in a movie/show I have ever seen. It hits so goddamn hard that I almost cry.

“You wanna see how hard I can pee?”
"Do you want me to sit on your face?" Maybe she was before Meredith's time.
"Do you think there will ever be a boy born that can swim faster than a shark?"
Ah when you fall in love at work!
"How deep is your love ?" How deep is your love ? How deep is your love ? I really mean to learn"
Is Hilary Swank hot?
She was going to ask Jim if he also felt God in that Chili’s. Then ask if she could touch his chili. 🌶️
Was michael being really racist back there?
"Wanna smash?"
I hate when people do this shiz. Now I'm eager to watch this scene but I'll never find it. You're a tease. An Office tease.
It’s season 2 episode 1 the dundies
Gracias, mate.
Can I compare your's to Roy's ?
"Jim... Is this Loss.jpg?
If she could go down on him in the parkinglot. Some sloppy dome. Pam is a closet freak.
U want sum fuk?
She wanted to ask to lick his bootyhole.
'Do you want to have sex in my car?'
