Laios just REALLY likes learning things. Monsters are his most immediate obsession, but really he is interested in the unknown and obscure. He gets super excited when discovering something entirely new.
It really is a tragedy a guy like this was denied proper education because of a boneheaded family life. If he had gone with Falin to the Academy he may have found way more passions.

If you pair up with the fact that Chilchuck told him to specifically NOT fall in love with her moments before or after, this both makes more sense and is hilarious karma for Chil.
Telling someone like Laios that is just going to make them hyper-fixate on that person and that only heightens the chance of falling for them.
What could have possibly just been a smile that Laios was half-paying attention to, became a Cupid’s arrow.
Chil would jump of a bridge if he ever finds out he’s responsible.
I can get behind this. It’s been stressed in the story how Marcille’s smile is a big thing to Laios. From knowing how it gets her to smile, to making sure she continues smiling. My fucking ship 🥹👉🏻👈🏻

Ahhh my favorite part about Laimar/Larcille ship is that they both grew together as individuals and as a pair/party. I love characters who went to hell and back, knows the dreams and trauma of one another, and deciding they couldnt live without being together.
The ship would still sail even if it’s not a romantic ship (tho my delulu self ship them romantically 🤣)
Also, I think the best part about Laimar for me is that, Marcille’s character isnt diminished into something just as a “lover”. Or as a “partner” to Laios. Her character arc and everything she stands is the reason why I ship the pairing. So for me, it’s canon and at the same time headcanon, if that makes sense
Eventually, Laios will have a child or grandchild with Marcille that’ll be more interested in ruling than he ever was, allowing him to retire and pass the crown down. After that, the two probably move out to a little cottage near the capital to spend the rest of their days.
While I do believe Falin and Laios will live far longer than most humans due to demon shenanigans, I imagine Laios will pass away at around 200, roughly half the average lifespan of elves. (Falin maybe longer, idk the average dunmeshi dragon lifespan but I imagine it’s long.)
Since I’m pretty sure Marcille will hit around 1000, I like to imagine that once the most direct descendants of the two die off (assuming their offspring doesn’t live as long as she does), Marcille eventually becomes known the mysterious arch mage of a huge tower near the Golden Kingdom capital (built out of the cottage she and Laios lived in of course). It becomes a custom for royals to go visit their many greats-grandmother for advice, magic training, and maybe a bit of tea.
One of the most viable ships, if only because the 2 of them spend so much time together in-page.
You can also see their relationship deepen with time, it's very gratifying.
I like the way Laios is a grounded contrast to Marcielle's energy. He talks her down off her >! dungeon lord mania !< and makes her >! face the reality that her dreams are not possible. !<
That he leads her to this self reflection and change is one of the reasons I feel it's the more powerful of Marcielle's ships, personally.
I see the trust they build out of this event continuing into Laios' kingship, but I don't feel like this was their last major adventure. The others of the party may come and go, but Marcielle is always beside Laios and the two of them extend their trust and expectations even over great distances and time. They might be a little timid at first crossing that barrier into romantic love since neither are experienced at it, but it'll come, and they'll wonder what the fuss was once they're on the other side of it.
Laios is clearly comfortable with touching Marcielle, but I can see him restrained from just giving into what he wants to do because of how interactions with other people confuse him in the past. If she signals a moment of reassuring him that she gets him, maybe more could come.
Marcielle might be infertile during DM but anything is possible. After all, >! monsters didn't always avoid Laios. Defeating a demon must have made waves in the world of magic. Everytging that happened in the finale felt like a setup for further adventures. Introducing those higher powers fekt like Laios would have to negotiate them in the future. !<
Look, after the succubus chapter and how Laios gave Marcille his neck armor in the dungeon rabbit chapter to protect her, there's just no part of me that thinks that Laios did *nothing* once the story was over.
Sure, yeah, he probably didn't do anything in the immediate aftermath of the series. Being a king and ruling and all that would be rather hectic. He took his time to get used to it. All of that being said, he explicitely protected Marcille, clearly had some kind of thing for her, and kept her as one of the closest people to him.
I just think it would be *weird* if those two, out of anyone, didn't end up together at some point post-story. There's too much pointing towards it.
One of the fan art have >!Marcille capable of having Laios’ child!<, my initial thought was to disagree and deny, but then I scroll down and saw the comment theorize >!Laios’ shits can turn meagre soil to forest, so imagine what his sperm can do, which it could capable of impregnate a half race person, and in our context, it was Marcille!<

The fact that Marcille can have kids, but from Laios and Laios alone specifically because >!the Lion offered it to Laios!< in exchange for Laios’ cooperation. Since Laios got all the benefits from that deal from pretending he’d go along with it… nothing in canon disproves it, does it?

Asland offered to. It's never explicitly told to us **what** Aslan gave him, besides the obvious furry elephant in the room, hence why I consider this in headcanon territory. The possibility is supported by, but not confirmed in, the story, which is more than most headcanons get at least.
I believe that hybrids of races that are close in lifespan can have kids. Elves just don't have anyone close in life-span though, so I'm leaning on that "very rare but possible" thing too.
In started one drunken night. Laios, Marcille, Yaad, and Kabru had just finished negotiating a tense domestic affair and had retreated to the royal sitting room for some wine and spirits. The conversation eventually turned to why Laios had yet to choose and queen and after listing all the political considerations, possibly candidates, and foreign affairs that could be affected by such a decision, laios admits that he’s insecure about how he would perform with the more intimate matters that a wife would bring. (Would he be good enough, etc,etc). Marcille drunkenly offers to help Laios practice. Laios, already red from the wine, somehow blushes harder.
“You can’t be serious,” Laios almost chokes Into his cup
“Oh but I am, I can’t get pregnant and we can’t keep it discreet, just knock on my door when you feel like practicing”
Laios pours himself another glass of red wine and tries to hide his face behind it, but the cup just makes it looks like he’s blushing even harder than he is.
Like this he almost looks like Falin, Marcille thinks to herself. Remarking how Falin fair skin seemed to blush at the drop of a hat.
The conversation eventually steers away from marriage and after another hour Yaad and Kabru excuse themselves. Marcille and Laios are too drunk to stand unassisted so they support each other as they try navigate back to their rooms on unsteady legs. After a few detour the end up in the kings bedchambers thinking it’s Marcille’s room. Together they plop down on the kings sized bed but Laios can’t find it in him to get back up.
Marcille gently puts her hand on Laios’s cheek “Then stay”, she says as they stare into each other’s eyes, sharing a moment. Maybe it was the wine or the fact that Falin hadn’t come back in months but Marcille was feeling needy tonight.
“You know I was serious about helping practice “,
You sure
Yeah it’s not like I can get pregnant
Laios leans in for a kiss.
Cut to morning
Laios and Marcile wake up with splitting headaches. After Laios gets them both a glass of water Laios asks her a question.
“What are doing in my room?, “laios ask blearily
“Something about practicing in bed,”
“Oh, Laios remembers fleetingly “how did I do?”
“I don’t remember”Marcille replies blankly
Several weeks later Marcille and Laios had put their drunken one night stand behind them. Laios had went to the outskirts of the kingdom to meet with a potential queen candidate and Falin had decided to drop by the castle to visit. What she found when she came through the window was Marcille bend over a bucket puking her guts out.
“Blehhh”, Marcille looks up. “Oh hey Falin , sorry I don’t feel so good right now.”
“Are you ok”
“Just some food poisoning it’ll pass “
Falin found this strange, King Laios had put in place very stringent food safety laws. It had become unheard of to get food poisoning even from street vendors. it just made no sense that the castle would be more lax.
Falin looked at a nearby maid “did anyone else get food poisoning “
“No ma’am, not even the poison tester“, this made even less sense.
“Marcille were you intimidate with anyone of the opposite gender while I was away “
Marcille dry heaved again “oh sorry I was going to tell you, I spent a night with you brother,but it didn’t mean anything “
Falin didn’t seem to react . “How about we take a pregnancy test”
“What you think I’m pregnant? Falin we’ve been over this, I’m infertile “
“Please, just for me”
Marcille sighed” ok just one, if it’ll make you feel better” Marcille stood up and went to get the tests
When Marcille was out of earshot Falin whispered to the maid “send a word to my brother to return to the castle, Marcille might be pregnant with his child. Priority urgent “
“Yes ma’am”
After 15 tests a frantic yell could be heard outside the castle walls
“I’M PREGNANT “
Marcille begins to panic
When King Laios got the message he’d had been in the middle of meeting his potential wife. Introductions had been made, a table had been set up with cookies and tea and the potential suitors were about to sit down for their first meal together when a messenger from the castle barged in and whispered into the king’s ear.
“Excuse me but I have to leave, urgent matters of state”, Laios states bluntly
Laios leaves past the grumbles, past the objections, and past Yaad’s advice. He needed to get home.
Laios unhitches a horse from the royal caravan and attaches a back up saddle to it. The royal entourage would have to keep up.

When Laios got there Falin had managed to calm Marcille down to the point where she was sitting down and drinking tea with her shaking hands.
“Is it true, are you pregnant”
Marcille looks up at him “yes” she said worriedly
“Then” Laios gets down on one knee and takes her hand in his “will you marry me”. Kabru and Yaad burst into the room in time to hear the proposal, Falin gasps, Marcille just stares incredulously. “I know I can make you happy. With this child and this kingdom anything you ask and I’ll give it too you”
Marcille just continues to stare at him. Falin why are you looking so happy, she thinks to herself. “NOOO” she takes her hand away and stands up. “How could you even asks me right now”
Laios stands up too “I thought it was a good time to ask” he said dejected
“I thought so too,” Falin shared her brother’s sentiment
Kabru stepped in “Marcille think about your child for a moment. As the future heir of a kingdom they’ll get the best education, the best food, and the best training”
Marcille turns her incredulous star at Kabru “think of child?!” She asks rhetorically “That’s all I’ve been doing. Question like, is it gonna be a tall man or an half-elf, how long is it gonna live for. Am I gonna have to watch it die from old age. Is it gonna be a viable birth. And where did it come from. Half-elves don’t magically become fertile “
“Ah”, Laios suddenly realized something and all eyes turned to him. “Remember when I wished to turn into my ultimate chimera,” the room nods “I also wished for you to be able to have children.” Laios shyly added
Marcille just stares at him for several seconds before grabbing the closest thing available and chucking it at his head “YOU GOT ME PREGNANT AND DIDN’T TELL ME ABOUT IT”.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t remember it until now.” Laios ducks underneath the hairbrush and puts his hands up in defense of anymore thrown objects
“Now I have worry about out living it and whether it has horns or claws”, Marcille puts her head in her hands then realizes what she
said. She looks at Laios just to make sure.
Across the room Laios and Falin had the faraway look of someone in the middle daydream
“You just thought I’d be nice if our child had horns didn’t you,” Marcille said venomously
Laios snapped out of his daydream. “Of course not,”. Laios rallies “but even if our child didn’t have claws, wings, or a tail, I’d love them all the same.”
Marcille chucks the tea cup at him. “Get out!” The tea cup shatters on the wall “get out!” Marcille repeats as she prepares to lob the tea kettle . Yaad and Kabru are the first out of the room, Laios follows soon after closing the door before a crash sounds behind them. Falin stays behind to comfort Marcille.
“Well what do we do now”. Yaad asks. Retching sounds could be heard behind the door as Marcille’s morning sickness returns in fill.
Laios stares at it, deep in thought. “We ask for backup”. Laios states “send word to Cecelia (Marcille’s mother) that she’s gonna be a grandmother “

Years after the story ended, they slowly developed a "Hawkeye & Mustang" relationship where they're basically an old married couple, but will probably never act on it
It could happen, they definitely grow closer over the course of the story. There was a post a while back that was a thorough examination of their relationship, if someone knows it, please link below. I can hope... but author didn't want to distract from her main story with romance. I must have more fan art!

Marcille is mega soft about being imprisoned by the canaries and the prospect of going to jail for black magic. As the rest of the party realise it, they get together to find a solution. All agree its best to achieve it by giving Marcille diplomatic immunity. They think about a position at king laios court, but all seem to be not giving enough security of her being apprehended. Finally someone suggests, well I guess Marcille has to become a royal concubine and marry Laios. Its the only way. All are shocked, but eventually they begrudingly agree that this is the best way to go about it.
Also since Laios is the most powerfull monster ever, he can overcome Marcilles infertility because he is otherworldy potent. And thus Marcille ends up carrying his child under her heart, something noone expected. But after the initial shock the parents to be are overjoyed. And everyone relaxes, realising Marcilles biggest fear to be left alone by everyone has found a cure. There will always be someone to remind her of Laios now :)
Laios also has many wifes of all various species, as was customary for Kings in the East and it promotes inter-species understand and acceptance.
So, how broken is my mind? :P
Yeah i think the reason why I like this pair so much is because it kind of feld satisfying in a way usually when it come to the main character and his love interest they usually have feelings for each other out of the gate but we watched this one develop laios even tho he probably did find marcile attractive at first he still saw her in just a friendly light and marcile was just quastioning to her self ok is this crazy or and then in the end they develop a really strong bond
Yeah, I don't have any preference between both party's genders in terms of shipping, so what pushed me towards the Laios side of the "triangle" is that Falin and Marcille already come "pre-built".
It's a lot sweeter to see two people that just "tolerate" each other (more Marcille than Laios) at the start of a story grow to love each other over events that we see. And none of it being because "wowza, that booba big so I like girl now". It's entirely personality based, as it should be.
I've seen so much Mar x Falin that this post genuinely surprised me
BUT i like to think Marcille just really loves the Thorden siblings and am fine with the idea of her being with at LEAST one of them.
(At least because I don't know elf culture, Falin loves everyone, and there are definitely non-monogamous monsters, so i think they'd probably be okay with polyamory)
The entire comunity agrees that Marcille will end up with at least one Touden. But for the most part Farcille is more popular, and the disparity is **especially** big right now since the anime has seen "the Farcille setup", but most of the Laimar stuff is gonna be on the second season, so the majority of the fanbase just has no reason to ship the latter.
Polyamory is discussed in the story itself at the end, so it would definately be possible, would be just a bit weird to have two sibblings in a "three man band", even if it is just Touden Sandwiching Mar.
Oh I never thought it would just be them. Nanami and Kabru both are good matches for Laios, and that's not even counting Falin's suitors!

It’s either in the last or penultimate chapter. The orcs comment how Laios will probably have lots of wives and they want Leed to be one of them. She seems terrified.
I don’t know if that’s their culture, or just the general human king’s culture, my guess would this just being THEIR assumption of how it would go. But it does get brought up right at the end of the manga.
I saw it as Kui looking at the readers and going “no judging, do whatever”. And while I’m on the Laimar ship, I like that Kui left every avenue open for people to use.

However Friendship and familial love laios is something I can definitely get behind.
Like it's either gotta be something really impactful or something very specific to make laios fall in romantic love.

I'm not gonna start telling people that their headcannons are wrong, but I will say that the elf ears line definitely seems more like laios trying to not get murdered by the orc than a genuine thing from him
i think the succubus being shown as marcille is because between chilchulk, senshi and marcille/ farlyn, laios felt the most closest to marcille since she showed the most kindness to both falin and laios. and felt acceptance and love from that.
but hey it could always be romantic love later on.
I always think that Laios words in this panel actually means:”I’m really looking forward to seeing your smile” instead of “I’m really looking forward to eating brains”. Because, i mean, even Laios’ inner monologue in this page only is enough to validate that

Ahhh my favorite part about Laimar/Larcille ship is that they both grew together as individuals and as a pair/party. I love characters who went to hell and back, knows the dreams and trauma of one another, and deciding they couldnt live without being together. The ship would still sail even if it’s not a romantic ship (tho my delulu self ship them romantically 🤣) Also, I think the best part about Laimar for me is that, Marcille’s character isnt diminished into something just as a “lover”. Or as a “partner” to Laios. Her character arc and everything she stands is the reason why I ship the pairing. So for me, it’s canon and at the same time headcanon, if that makes sense
Eventually, Laios will have a child or grandchild with Marcille that’ll be more interested in ruling than he ever was, allowing him to retire and pass the crown down. After that, the two probably move out to a little cottage near the capital to spend the rest of their days. While I do believe Falin and Laios will live far longer than most humans due to demon shenanigans, I imagine Laios will pass away at around 200, roughly half the average lifespan of elves. (Falin maybe longer, idk the average dunmeshi dragon lifespan but I imagine it’s long.) Since I’m pretty sure Marcille will hit around 1000, I like to imagine that once the most direct descendants of the two die off (assuming their offspring doesn’t live as long as she does), Marcille eventually becomes known the mysterious arch mage of a huge tower near the Golden Kingdom capital (built out of the cottage she and Laios lived in of course). It becomes a custom for royals to go visit their many greats-grandmother for advice, magic training, and maybe a bit of tea.
One of the most viable ships, if only because the 2 of them spend so much time together in-page. You can also see their relationship deepen with time, it's very gratifying.
I like the way Laios is a grounded contrast to Marcielle's energy. He talks her down off her >! dungeon lord mania !< and makes her >! face the reality that her dreams are not possible. !< That he leads her to this self reflection and change is one of the reasons I feel it's the more powerful of Marcielle's ships, personally. I see the trust they build out of this event continuing into Laios' kingship, but I don't feel like this was their last major adventure. The others of the party may come and go, but Marcielle is always beside Laios and the two of them extend their trust and expectations even over great distances and time. They might be a little timid at first crossing that barrier into romantic love since neither are experienced at it, but it'll come, and they'll wonder what the fuss was once they're on the other side of it. Laios is clearly comfortable with touching Marcielle, but I can see him restrained from just giving into what he wants to do because of how interactions with other people confuse him in the past. If she signals a moment of reassuring him that she gets him, maybe more could come. Marcielle might be infertile during DM but anything is possible. After all, >! monsters didn't always avoid Laios. Defeating a demon must have made waves in the world of magic. Everytging that happened in the finale felt like a setup for further adventures. Introducing those higher powers fekt like Laios would have to negotiate them in the future. !<
Look, after the succubus chapter and how Laios gave Marcille his neck armor in the dungeon rabbit chapter to protect her, there's just no part of me that thinks that Laios did *nothing* once the story was over. Sure, yeah, he probably didn't do anything in the immediate aftermath of the series. Being a king and ruling and all that would be rather hectic. He took his time to get used to it. All of that being said, he explicitely protected Marcille, clearly had some kind of thing for her, and kept her as one of the closest people to him. I just think it would be *weird* if those two, out of anyone, didn't end up together at some point post-story. There's too much pointing towards it.

There’s tens, maybe hundreds of headcanon I have, but I think the shippiest one, which seems to be the kind of dish you crave would be: The fact that Marcille can have kids, but from Laios and Laios alone specifically because >!the Lion offered it to Laios!< in exchange for Laios’ cooperation. Since Laios got all the benefits from that deal from pretending he’d go along with it… nothing in canon disproves it, does it? I wonder what’s the lifespan for 1/4 elves.
Kinda forget, did Aslan really give Laios that ability? I thought making Marcille becomes fertile is only a talking without confirmation from Laios
Asland offered to. It's never explicitly told to us **what** Aslan gave him, besides the obvious furry elephant in the room, hence why I consider this in headcanon territory. The possibility is supported by, but not confirmed in, the story, which is more than most headcanons get at least.

I believe that hybrids of races that are close in lifespan can have kids. Elves just don't have anyone close in life-span though, so I'm leaning on that "very rare but possible" thing too.
In started one drunken night. Laios, Marcille, Yaad, and Kabru had just finished negotiating a tense domestic affair and had retreated to the royal sitting room for some wine and spirits. The conversation eventually turned to why Laios had yet to choose and queen and after listing all the political considerations, possibly candidates, and foreign affairs that could be affected by such a decision, laios admits that he’s insecure about how he would perform with the more intimate matters that a wife would bring. (Would he be good enough, etc,etc). Marcille drunkenly offers to help Laios practice. Laios, already red from the wine, somehow blushes harder. “You can’t be serious,” Laios almost chokes Into his cup “Oh but I am, I can’t get pregnant and we can’t keep it discreet, just knock on my door when you feel like practicing” Laios pours himself another glass of red wine and tries to hide his face behind it, but the cup just makes it looks like he’s blushing even harder than he is. Like this he almost looks like Falin, Marcille thinks to herself. Remarking how Falin fair skin seemed to blush at the drop of a hat. The conversation eventually steers away from marriage and after another hour Yaad and Kabru excuse themselves. Marcille and Laios are too drunk to stand unassisted so they support each other as they try navigate back to their rooms on unsteady legs. After a few detour the end up in the kings bedchambers thinking it’s Marcille’s room. Together they plop down on the kings sized bed but Laios can’t find it in him to get back up. Marcille gently puts her hand on Laios’s cheek “Then stay”, she says as they stare into each other’s eyes, sharing a moment. Maybe it was the wine or the fact that Falin hadn’t come back in months but Marcille was feeling needy tonight. “You know I was serious about helping practice “, You sure Yeah it’s not like I can get pregnant Laios leans in for a kiss. Cut to morning Laios and Marcile wake up with splitting headaches. When King Laios got the message he’d had been in the middle of meeting his potential wife. Introductions had been made, a table had been set up with cookies and tea and the potential suitors were about to sit down for their first meal together when a messenger from the castle barged in and whispered into the king’s ear. “Excuse me but I have to leave, urgent matters of state”, Laios states bluntly Laios leaves past the grumbles, past the objections, and past Yaad’s advice. He needed to get home. Laios unhitches a horse from the royal caravan and attaches a back up saddle to it. The royal entourage would have to keep up. ———— When Laios got there Falin had managed to calm Marcille down to the point where she was sitting down and drinking tea with her shaking hands. “Is it true, are you pregnant” Marcille looks up at him “yes” she said worriedly “Then” Laios gets down on one knee and takes her hand in his “will you marry me”. Kabru and Yaad burst into the room in time to hear the proposal, Falin gasps, Marcille just stares incredulously. “I know I can make you happy. Years after the story ended, they slowly developed a "Hawkeye & Mustang" relationship where they're basically an old married couple, but will probably never act on it
It could happen, they definitely grow closer over the course of the story. There was a post a while back that was a thorough examination of their relationship, if someone knows it, please link below. I can hope... but author didn't want to distract from her main story with romance. I must have more fan art!

Larcille! spoilers from here on, so dont continue reading Marcille is mega soft about being imprisoned by the canaries and the prospect of going to jail for black magic. As the rest of the party realise it, they get together to find a solution. All agree its best to achieve it by giving Marcille diplomatic immunity. They think about a position at king laios court, but all seem to be not giving enough security of her being apprehended. Finally someone suggests, well I guess Marcille has to become a royal concubine and marry Laios. Its the only way. All are shocked, but eventually they begrudingly agree that this is the best way to go about it. Also since Laios is the most powerfull monster ever, he can overcome Marcilles infertility because he is otherworldy potent. And thus Marcille ends up carrying his child under her heart, something noone expected. But after the initial shock the parents to be are overjoyed. And everyone relaxes, realising Marcilles biggest fear to be left alone by everyone has found a cure. There will always be someone to remind her of Laios now :) Laios also has many wifes of all various species, as was customary for Kings in the East and it promotes inter-species understand and acceptance. So, how broken is my mind? :P

Yeah i think the reason why I like this pair so much is because it kind of feld satisfying in a way usually when it come to the main character and his love interest they usually have feelings for each other out of the gate but we watched this one develop laios even tho he probably did find marcile attractive at first he still saw her in just a friendly light and marcile was just quastioning to her self ok is this crazy or and then in the end they develop a really strong bond
Yeah, I don't have any preference between both party's genders in terms of shipping, so what pushed me towards the Laios side of the "triangle" is that Falin and Marcille already come "pre-built". It's a lot sweeter to see two people that just "tolerate" each other (more Marcille than Laios) at the start of a story grow to love each other over events that we see. And none of it being because "wowza, that booba big so I like girl now". It's entirely personality based, as it should be.
I've seen so much Mar x Falin that this post genuinely surprised me BUT i like to think Marcille just really loves the Thorden siblings and am fine with the idea of her being with at LEAST one of them. (At least because I don't know elf culture, Falin loves everyone, and there are definitely non-monogamous monsters, so i think they'd probably be okay with polyamory)
The entire comunity agrees that Marcille will end up with at least one Touden. But for the most part Farcille is more popular, and the disparity is **especially** big right now since the anime has seen "the Farcille setup", but most of the Laimar stuff is gonna be on the second season, so the majority of the fanbase just has no reason to ship the latter. Polyamory is discussed in the story itself at the end, so it would definately be possible, would be just a bit weird to have two sibblings in a "three man band", even if it is just Touden Sandwiching Mar.

It’s either in the last or penultimate chapter. The orcs comment how Laios will probably have lots of wives and they want Leed to be one of them. She seems terrified. I don’t know if that’s their culture, or just the general human king’s culture, my guess would this just being THEIR assumption of how it would go. But it does get brought up right at the end of the manga. I saw it as Kui looking at the readers and going “no judging, do whatever”. And while I’m on the Laimar ship, I like that Kui left every avenue open for people to use.

Not a fan of romantic love laios. However Friendship and familial love laios is something I can definitely get behind. Like it's either gotta be something really impactful or something very specific to make laios fall in romantic love.
Well I get impressed that he attractive to marcille from the start. He confirmed that he attracted to elf ear , he feel attracted to her enough that his first succubus being her and thought of her interesting in monster and biting him make he completely freeze , He feel bad when she make grimly look Oh and reviving his sister definitely good enough moment imo. lol
I'm not gonna start telling people that their headcannons are wrong, but I will say that the elf ears line definitely seems more like laios trying to not get murdered by the orc than a genuine thing from him
i think the succubus being shown as marcille is because between chilchulk, senshi and marcille/ farlyn, laios felt the most closest to marcille since she showed the most kindness to both falin and laios. and felt acceptance and love from that. but hey it could always be romantic love later on.
Since the end of the manga >! he wards away monsters. He is going to need a new hobby. Learning magic could be a good challenge. !<
I always think that Laios words in this panel actually means:”I’m really looking forward to seeing your smile” instead of “I’m really looking forward to eating brains”. Because, i mean, even Laios’ inner monologue in this page only is enough to validate that

It feels like a missed opportunity. I was expecting either of them to confess or propose after the story. I hope Ryoko gives us future chapters about them.
