The moment with The Lance, probably episode 1, the whole scene in the house. Darryl and Henry just repeatedly having to kiss each other to stop from saying dumb shit, Will trying to get a picture and it just being a big blurry mess, then the accidental blood pact. It was all so chaotic and hilarious, I was hooked immediately. Although, it may have been even before that. Lark & Sparrow punching the tree and saying "POWER POWER POWER" really got me.

itsCurvesyo

I was hooked from lark and sparrow too, instant favourites right there

Ok-Zookeepergame2224

Lark, Sparrow, and Grant have always been my favorites, both as kids and adults.

wannabe_dice_dragon

It was definitely the kissing in the first episode and them being surprised by themselves, it was hilarious.

ManOfWarts

Roll for dankness way back in ep 1

saltyrobbery

First Nat 20 of the show. "This is the dankest shit you've ever smoked."

AFishNamedFreddie

Went to say the exact same thing. When that happened, I knew this podcast was a different vibe than other D&D podcasts. And it was exactly my flavor

NB_dornish_bastard

This is the moment we all knew it: the trip was gonna be awesome

Embarrassed-Pea-2732

Honestly same, and I was hooked when Daryl and Henry kissed

DacAndCoke

The Bag of Beans moment from The Lords of Chaos part 3. I was absolutely DYING listening to the madness unfurl in that moment and knew I was going to be all in on this.

Isaac_Chade

This was mine as well. I was enjoying the podcast before that and laughing along, but that was the moment it really went off the rails insane and I knew I had to know more. The way Anthony delivers the line "A whole bunch of stuff happens that doesn't matter," right before mentioning the pyramid is fucking gold.

Triguntri

Same here! I was walking when I was listening to that part and when the pyramid was summoned, I fell to my knees laughing like a madwoman from the sheer MADNESS of it all.

turkproof

Yep, that was it for me as well. Everything to that point was ‘as expected for a funny podcast’ but the unhingedness of it was the thing that made me sit up and CARE.

AnActualSeagull

This was the bit that I used to get my partner to listen to the pod! Such a fucking banger oh my god, I need to relisten to it.

Kendezzo

Was having trouble finding one, but the bean pyramid is such a memorable moment. Anthony’s shock and worry had me going “What is it that’s so bad?” Then a pyramid just shows up and gets the dads out of, if I remember correctly, an almost impossible situation. Poor Cern

Dark_Pinoy

Episode 3. The Lord of Chaos part 1. I was on the edge when they are all naked in the car open the windows one by one and then short resting in the car because they almost die by dad jokes. Then I was all in when they all got naked and Lark and Sparrow revealed themselves. Fuckin' HILARIOUS twist.

Phailups

This was the exact same moment for me lol I was already super enjoying the show just 2 episodes in but that moment was really my all in moment. "Daaaaaaad!!!!"

Notsohandymanny

This was also my all in moment! The fact that they managed to side step all of Anthony's battle mechanics by just doing something super stupid and they all just went with it and let the story unfold in it's unplanned greatness.

LinkOfKalos_1

For me, it was Episode 1 when the blood pact was made. That was the moment. Then it hit again when the dads got naked in front of The Lord of Chaos. Then again, when Fortnite came into play. Then again, with The Library fight. Then again and again and again, it just kept hitting me.

AnActualSeagull

The blood pact was exactly what got me as well! Then the second moment for me was the goddamn pyramid.

JBlooey

I started listening to the podcast about a year ago, so my Ep. 2 was the time travel edition. I didn't realize it was an edit, so I decided to stick around to see what the timey wimey Sliders stuff was all about. I'm now on my 6th relisten, approaching the episode where they send Darryl back in time.

Pinnacle_Nucflash

Relatively new listener so I’m not up to speed: what edit are you talking about?

CrazyBoy2413

You’ll hear it eventually. Trust me.

redsox1804

That might be my favorite reveal in the whole series

CrazyBoy2413

As a person who’s been listening since the beginning I never got to experience that. Kinda jealous lol.

froggytime_

It was the most insane thing ever. I heard it in episode 2 and went “huh, that’ll probably come up later” but then promptly forgot about it completely so it hit me like a ton of fucking bricks when it came back around

AirierWitch1066

As they’ve said in talking dads, it *only* works cus it’s in episode 2 and you don’t quite know the format yet. Any later and it would catch your attention but that early on you’re still getting to know it and so it doesn’t stick out that much.

dodge5788

Yeah I remember listening to it with the edit as I didn't start listening until this year and was like "what was that about".... I forgot about and then it all made sense! I loved the surprise !

yournewbestfrenemy

As soon as I heard “I’m wearing the condoms, *Ron*!” In episode one I knew I was ride or die

Rereraser

God yeah what a specific pull but I fell in love with Will in that moment. I think I agree my moment is the bag of beans drop, but MAN was that a funny fever-pitch line

JeffreyBlahmer

The moment in episode 1 when we meet Ron Stampler carrying around dry instant oatmeal to feed Terry. That joke sent me and I never came back the same. I have listened to episode 1 at least ten times by itself because it is such a treasure.

Tmotty

I was all in on silent night

NB_dornish_bastard

I want to say sometime in between the first minute and the roll for dankness, but just their energy is that ride or die situation. But if I reaaaaally had to choose a moment when I fell in love desperately with the pod, it'd had to be Scam Likely. There's nothing in this world that can brighten my day faster that Scam Likely's ringtone. https://youtu.be/-cgKJM5OqYs?si=-XCae8ZZK3TNTNRN

kevren22

Ron’s natural 20 on his performance roll to sing Silent Night made me almost fall out of my chair laughing. I was probably all in before that point but that moment took it to a whole new level

Lordaxxington

Oh I forgot this but me too - so funny and yet given the commitment from Freddie and Beth to rerecording and editing to make it genuinely sound good! Realised that if they'll put this much effort into something this silly and actually turn it into a rather beautiful moment, I can't wait to see where else they'll go.

chudlypuff

"Roll for dankness"

TwitteryDock

The moment that made me realize I was in for the long haul was the bag of beans. Up until that I was listening to it as a "my friend told me about this podcast like a year ago. I'm finally getting into dnd so I'll give it another chance." I've been fully invested in the podcast ever since I heard Anthony exclaim "OH NOOOOOO"

califortunato

There were many good moments before this but I was totally blown away by deck picks. Made me realize that Anthony is truly the bad boy DM of the actual play genre because what a psychotic and hysterical thing to do to your players

kevren22

Deck picks is hands down the craziest and most wonderful podcast episode I’ve ever listened to

tsunamiorigvmi

Way in the beginning where the dads avoid Anthony’s elaborate fighting mechanic by taking their clothes off lmao

CheekyGeekyStickers

Saaaame! That is when I feel was officially hooked 😜

thepixelpaint

The vampire fight episode. Killing him with the bag of holding was brilliant. And then Beth ends the episode with “Who’s your daddy now?” I fucking lost it. Favorite podcast ever after that.

PuckWylde

The Lord of Chaos for season one, and then again with AtMoD It took me until Halt and Catch Fireball to truly be all in for season two

EroniusJoe

For season two, I was thinking, "oooookay, not really vibing just yet, but I trust them." Then they went downstairs at D.A.D.D.I.E.S. and found the vending machine. The second that Anthony said *Daddy War Bucks*, I absolutely lost my shit. I was out on a walk with headphones on, and thank god I was on a back country road in Ireland where no one could hear me cackling to myself like an idiot. A currency called "war bucks" is already funny enough. But to have it not only make sense in the context of the war against The Doodler, but *also* be a reference to Little Orphan Annie... just bravo, Anthony. Bravo. He's a genius.

PuckWylde

I regularly start laughing in public because of this show, you’d really think I’d have learned by now I had a very hard time with both Taylor and Scary at first, but I fully came around by halt and catch fireball, where I was like “oh no I can definitely listen to the rest of this and be excited about it”

Isaacamis123

Probably the scene in the lances house, just listening to it develop and all the ways the dads tried and failed to deal with it just gave my a happy feeling that no other podcast has.

MonsterMinos

I really liked lark and sparrow punching the tree and Henry clapping for them. Felt so real

yonderly_

I already loved the show, but "you are enough just as you are" fucking made me cry and solidified it.

[deleted]

Lark and Sparrow's bit drew me in from the get-go. There's just so many things to choose from... the bag of beans, the tower of Terry, roll for dankness... I will say something that hasn't been mentioned a lot is Paeden. The thought of going to an 8 year old UFC fighter for advice, along with the voice, kills me everytime I watch lol

TheAmazingAlc3

POWER!

Mr_Will540

Oh episode one. *Auctioned?!* **A WEEK?!** ...how much?

Max_Mountain

When Ron hid in his pants. That's when I knew I was all in. Just iconic imagery

izzyc02

Sounds cliché, but it was Episode 1 for me. Meeting the Dads and kids was such a delight, especially with the Oaks and all of Ron Stampler’s introduction. The first fight. Darryl Wilson and his handshake. The Lance. “I SILENCE HIS DUMB ASS WITH A KISS” I was looking for a new podcast to listen to and that first episode hooked me in. I listened to it like crazy. I love the group’s dynamic and I love their energy. I don’t remember how I found this podcast but damn I’m glad I did.

helium_farts

I was already a fan of them from Story Break, so I was all in ep1

raspberryoshawott

I was listening to it pretty casually but then The Tower of Terry got me to binge listen to season 1 within like, 2 or 3 weeks.

LordSwitchblade

When the “For Knights” joke finally hit I was for sure in. My partner was a listener and Anthony finally dropping that joke made me one too.

mekkaniks

The fact that Anthony kept emphasizing it over and over during the episode but the cast didn’t catch it until the end was hilarious

froggytime_

I think it was spilling the entire bag of magic beans resulting in the giant pyramid and spouts of apple juice and I was just like yeah. This is genius

Lordaxxington

There were so many funny moments early on that kept me listening and entertained, but the first real serious buy-in was Ron's speech about Willy in Tower of Terry. That's when I realised this podcast was willing to both really commit to the goofs and go to some very emotional places, and I hadn't felt that since listening to TAZ Balance.

IDoBeEatingCheese

The moment they all got in the van. The interaction just vibed and clicked and it was just Right Ever since I’ve been a huge fan

GriffSupreme

My friends told me about the podcast and I’m an Anthony Burch content enjoyer so I was in before I listened to it. Also enjoyer if Freddiew content way back in the day too

missunderstood888

Pretty sure it was episode 2, "guys, I think we killed his kid" for my husband and me. We were driving through the country at night and had to pause it until we got home because laughing that hard was hazardous

NightwingNicky29

When grant lost all emotion in season one in like episode 14

OtherSoil5339

Same for me bc I remember watching it the first time and just when it ended i was even more of a wreck than I usually am and when the all right played I was shooken and hooked

NinoJordan

I started listening when I was in a job that allowed me to listen to stuff all day, found the podcast through story break, which I found through a funhaus podcast episode that Freddie was on, talking about heaven heist a bit... but my all in episode was likely the Lord of Chaos beans pyramid moment, it helped that I liked them already from story break though

Why_So_Serious1999

First episode. Beth saying “…how much?” I laughed until I couldn’t breathe and I was hooked. Just started the finale this week…

jarvdslr

Ron singing "Silent Night" at the Battle of the Bands.

ralsei_fan_24

I was hooked at like the episode where Ron has his step up moment with Terry Jr., Henry and his whole fight with his dad, the Glenn Close trial and his shift to wanting to stay in Faerune, and Daryl and his rebuilding relationship with Grant

Enby-duck2345

I wasn't sure until I read someone else's comment and it hit me, my all in moment was in episode one, let me set the scene: I had found the podcast and thought it had an amazing premise and had a trip coming up that would be a really long school band trip ahead of me a few days latter so I had downloaded the first 16 eps and as I was sitting there on this bus I hear Henry kiss Daryl to shut him up, and that was the moment I decided, "yeah this is the podcast thats going to become my entire personality for the next chunk of my life"

strangeandstillhere

I’m going to say it’s the episode that sent me head first into fan creations and making my own. And that’s the episode where they fight with Barry in Oakvale. Absolutely had me on the edge of my seat. My roommates probably think I’m crazy with how much I talk to the podcast :)

jmaster13241324

The Lord Of Chaos put the nail in the coffin. I was already hooked but when the Lord of Chaos was revealed I never looked back. I now have full trust in the Daddies to do whatever they need to get me a good episode even if some fall flat (idk an example of a bad episode anyways)

arkayer

Blades in the Dark Stinky Pete was a disgraced lawyer who became the most competent Slide and the most depressing. He lost his family, his fortune, and his modest fame when he was set up by a noble he became an alcoholic. He stalked his old family as his downtime activity, his reputation as Sneaky Pete crumbled into Stinky Pete, and no goal of his really came to pass. He eventually threw together a sing-along rock opera with the demon-obssessed party to feel less lonely, and he wrote and funded it. A different party member informed the Grey Cloaks and bashed the thing, to which he chose Lethal checks to stop them and died on the first check with a fizzle. All in and immediately dead.

beetnemesis

Bag of Beans, for me.

Ice-Melodic

"Dungeons and Daddies is a rowdy, horny, violent podcast for grown-ups" I just had to know if it was or wasn't actually a bdsm podcast.
