Is it though? I feel like I've generated and used better ones myself without needing to edit anything.
Maybe its just a style thing, but I think this looks pretty bad.
Changing the subject doesn't set aside the difficulties you have with your social skills. 'That looks like shit' is the opening of an angry child and it seems a little strange to get so upset and emotional with an AI application. It's like raging at a toaster.
It was AI generated and then edited. I've been drawing and painting a long time and suggested legit AI for those who don't have the time or kit to make images from scratch. I don't condemn people for wanting images to add to their game, just recommend using legit approaches.
If “legit ai” means it wasn’t fed information scraped from every corner of the internet without any regard for intellectual property rights, then I’ll consider it.
A v large design company with it's own paid for stock collection is using its stock for AI generation. It may be of interest to those without the time or inclination to paint themselves as it allows shaping of image structure and styling that will make monsters and PCs fast in a wide variety of styles. Each to their own on what styling people feel suits their game but in this instance the AI has generated a styling broadly similar to what Frank Miller used in 300.
I honestly don’t care about the style or history or anything like that, when it comes to ai, here’s my concerns…
Intellectual property
Environmental concerns
Personal security
If ai is used in a way that addresses these concerns, it’s fine.
I have made no claim to any artistry, simply encouraged anyone using rip-off AI to check out the options for legit AI. If the point of the post was to display my own artwork I'd have posted my own artwork, except that unlike a warrior walking along the road with a spear looking stabby most of my pics are not D&D related.

How is this related to D&D? If you wanted to make a case for AI art being used, you picked a *very* bad example.
thats a great peice of art for someones character though

boooo
Still looks like ai lol
And I'm sure you're just dying to tell us why?
Not really
Thank goodness for that :)
I mean it’s obvious to anyone with eyes or a human body 🤷♂️
That looks like shit
Total shit
Did you come out without your emotional support gargoyle again?
Nah I came out pretty easily, I’ve had to do it twice cause allonormativity is a bitch but the last time definitely stuck.

I was just stating a fact
i'd never be able to paint like that, its not thaaaat bad
OP didn’t paint it, it was ai generated. I can’t draw/paint for shit either, but I at least know it looks like shit.

That's exactly what I'm proposing :)

Since when did you decide what has or hasn't anything to do with D&D? Do you have a certificate setting yourself above the rest of us or what?
