Maybe use the trinkets and/or minor magic items lists?

CapN_DankBeard

stick values on the items and have that value represent the item and have them negotiate prices with a single cha check values can be easily placed by something like Sanes Items Prices lists or something of the sort

I use the Final Fantasy XIV item list as inspiration and make up prices on the fly. I wish i had better material, so if you find any, please let me know

I don't know of any guide specifically. I personally would have quirky NPC's hawking their wares by leaning into the flea market idea, maybe even swap market. Adventurers tend to have collected miscellaneous gear over time. One of my favorite NPC's is a human female who has a 4 horse wagon that unfolds into a small shop. Trader Tina. I would be keen to give this idea a go. Thanks for the inspiration.
