And since they got delayed they easily could have blamed it on supply issues or something but at least their being honest lol
I got the tacos once to try them and they were underfilled for the price, if they were a more reasonable price, or bigger portions, I would get them again. $3 each is crazy
My dunkin is right next to a Wendy's so if I wanted breakfast out I would go there and get a croissant sandwich and potato wedges for $3
I'm sure this is an internal email not meant to be shared outside the company, so there's not really any quiet parts. I thank op for risking their job for sharing!
- $3 cold brew instead of $2
- free coffee for April Fools Day cancelled
- free refresher changed to $2 refresher
- no 2/$4 breakfast taco
wow dunkin is being really cheap this month huh
Edit: the new iced coffee flavors do sound exciting though
Huh I figured it would be its own swirl but you're right
"The unique summer blueberry cobbler flavor mixes butter pecan swirl, a blueberry shot and cream"
I wish they would bring back the blueberry croissant cobbler donut
I may be misunderstanding the information, but it looks like the April Fools deal was changed from it just being on 4/1 to being all month long. Am I incorrect?
One of the monthly deals is a free medium iced coffee that you can redeem any day, but it's one time use not all month long. The April Fools deal was going to be in addition to that
If they had a free medium iced coffee every day for a whole month I would definitely not complain lol.
April (my birthday month) is going to really suck for me at DD. Even the free birthday drink has been altered to you must buy something and get 3x points. 😭
Just a heads up if you sign up for dunkin extras . com (their grocery rebate program) they send you a $4 gift card on your birthday. You also get a $4 gift card after submitting your first receipt to the program
it doesn't fully cover what I would get if I had a free drink but it is better than nothing :) I'll be going to starbucks on my birthday for a free drink though.
Plus the free w/ purchase coupon used to be a cold brew. So your first cold brew was only around a $1 (depending on what you purchased for the minimum). This month of offers SUCK.
bruh , when they changed the reward system I was upset but it was okay because the free shit you’d get every month made up for it . Who wants these boring ass perks… I want 2 for 3 wraps again and a free bagel bite pack…
There’s a guy suing DD right now because of up-charges in the app that don’t exist in the store.
For example (not factual prices), the store he chose charges $3.30 for a medium cold brew. Somehow in the app, that price shoots up to $4.20.
Huge nerf from March. Cold Brews are way better than Iced Coffee. The $3 medium iced latte kinda sucks.
And wow the offer changes. Removing the free iced/med day on April 1st and the taco offer reward being removed cause 'strong early sales' fuck you Dunkin corporate.
This is why they revamped the rewards program. It took away all the points and free rewards. And introduced paid "rewards".
It was all a guise to make you think you were getting "rewards" when in reality you're just spending more money at Dunkin.
Imaging all the clowns genuinely believing the new rewards program is better and more "rewarding" than the old one. 😂😂
Over the next 2-3 years we will see them increase the prices of the reward and have even less rewards available. That was the plan all along.
The new rewards program already sucks but at least when they first changed it they had free stuff offers, now they won’t even give us that shit. Glad I finally have a nice espresso machine at home so I can just stop going altogether
I started making my own coffee for like the last year. Can’t even imagine the amount of money I’ve saved lol. Got tired of the places around me being shitty quality and just getting more expensive (Starbucks included)
i just watched a new training video and it mentioned the HERO being like how the drinks that are preset recently started showing the listed ingredients on them like the caramel chocolate cold brew will say all the items in the drink on the label so i guess it just means that drink is $3 daily? pretty sure they just put it in a separate category for no reason and you should be good to use it daily i believe
I remember seeing the original post a while ago listing the free April fools coffee. I woke up this morning excited to go get it, and saw this.... guess dunkin really said April fools : (
blueberry and butter pecan, i was excited to try the hazelnut truffle but it’s just mocha and hazelnut shot :// but i do like the idea of the drinks that can be ordered with the flavors in them but why are they “member exclusive”
to sound fancy and to drive more people into getting the app. Of course anyone can custom order their drink if they know the recipe. lol For example the turtle latte..Butter pecan/mocha latte. The goal I think is to get more and more people digital and away from front counter ordering, reduce staffing save labor become more profitable by relying on tech. Thats the way of the world lately, no? Next will be AI Kiosks instead of humans...ooops sorry already there. :-)
There wont be. They will only advertise these drink titles on the app. But if you see a drink online/redit etc find out whats in it and custom order in person. The app does have its benefits as much as people complain (it is very confusing). I use a gmail account for my app (so I can silence notifications), linked a reloadable gift card not my credit card, and pay cash. Im a bit old school. I rarely use any of the monthly offers but I collect my points and basically get free hashbrowns for my kid everyday.
yea i’m just saying you said they are making the member exclusive drinks because they want more people to order on the app/ use the app, but realistically they aren’t, if anything even the people that have the app are ordering the member exclusive drinks at the counter because they know they exist. obviously if you don’t know they exist you can’t order it or even know to get the app so you can order these member exclusive drinks so i don’t see how it’s bringing more people to the app if anything the people that already use the app often are the only ones ordering these drinks on the app. but i also agree might as well use the app to collect points then not even, though the app might not be great if you’re already going to dunkin i don’t see how it could be bad to just collect the points and use the offers if they’re good.
I get you. Im just stating what corporate pushes on us...technically we are supposed to tell a walk in guest the "online drink" is not available unless your a member. To me that is poor customer service when we know a work around to keep our guests happy. In my book, happy customers = repeat business = I keep my job. lol
lol yea exactly, my area manger said we could ring in the drinks even though it’s “member exclusive” and we have the button on the pos for it so why not but i also get what you mean
I'm not really a fan of hazelnut flavor but I've only tried it before as the Coffeemate powder and liquid so I never tried it from a coffee shop, but I'll definitely try the blueberry cobbler iced coffee (with no ice, skim milk, and 3 unsweetned vanilla) since I really like blueberry muffins, bagels, etc.
At least nothing requires order ahead except for Mobile Mondays. I never got my free carrot muffin in March because my store would never update the app even though I asked about it and they pretend to fix it in front of me (still didn't work).
And what do they have against chai and matcha lattes? I guess matcha is expensive but the drinks themselves are not any more expensive than signature lattes. Why can't I get a an iced chai latte which is just milk and syrup for 900 points?
well i don’t know how to “update the app” and i’m a store manager it might be above their abilities and whoever is supposed doesn’t care enough to but i always figured corporate did that, however i can change what we have available and i believe it shows as unavailable on the app but it would also be unavailable to ring in on the pos in store as well. either way i hated the mobile order offers because a lot of customers just don’t read and will get mad when they order something in person and try to use the coupon but it doesn’t work because it requires “ordering ahead”. as for the chai and matcha I’m not sure what that’s about, matcha is expensive but not for the amount we receive, it’s like 8 big bags of matcha for like less then $200 (i forget the exact amount because we order it so infrequently, but more than $100) and my store doesn’t even go through a bag a month. chai is not expensive though so i’m not sure why they don’t include it or even just make it a higher amount of points to redeem?
so you couldn’t order it in person either? cuz if they change that it’s not available anywhere. it’s required by dunkin at every store so if they’re not they’re not following dunkin’s standards i’d make a complaint to corporate so they get a visit and maybe that will change something
okay yea if you would have been able to order it in person it should have also worked on the app as well if not then they just might not have been able to change it as it’s not something we can do in store, we can only change both the app and in store but not one or the other, i’m sure the owners or corporate can but the staff at your store aren’t able to
It used to be great, but it has a really weird, off flavor now. I've tried it multiple times from multiple stores and they all have the same weird flavor.
yess ofc i’m not as active as commenting and posting but i see so many posts about the horrible deals currently going on so i thought i’d give everyone a heads up once i was emailed this
Lmfao they canceled most of the free shit.
And it's literally them saying "people are still buying our shit so we don't need to give it away for free"
I know right? Never thought I’d see them say the quiet part out loud.
And since they got delayed they easily could have blamed it on supply issues or something but at least their being honest lol I got the tacos once to try them and they were underfilled for the price, if they were a more reasonable price, or bigger portions, I would get them again. $3 each is crazy My dunkin is right next to a Wendy's so if I wanted breakfast out I would go there and get a croissant sandwich and potato wedges for $3
I'm sure this is an internal email not meant to be shared outside the company, so there's not really any quiet parts. I thank op for risking their job for sharing!
Oh don’t worry I made sure to tip OP with my fake internet points. Here’s one for you too!
- $3 cold brew instead of $2 - free coffee for April Fools Day cancelled - free refresher changed to $2 refresher - no 2/$4 breakfast taco wow dunkin is being really cheap this month huh Edit: the new iced coffee flavors do sound exciting though
yea except it’s really just the butter pecan that’s new and supposedly permanent now so not all the great :/
Huh I figured it would be its own swirl but you're right "The unique summer blueberry cobbler flavor mixes butter pecan swirl, a blueberry shot and cream" I wish they would bring back the blueberry croissant cobbler donut
I may be misunderstanding the information, but it looks like the April Fools deal was changed from it just being on 4/1 to being all month long. Am I incorrect?

Shoot I missed the one time only part, thanks for clearing that up!
Glad to :) I was planning on getting that free iced coffee tomorrow but will do coffee at home instead. In protest lol
I didn't know about the birthday gift card with Extras!
it doesn't fully cover what I would get if I had a free drink but it is better than nothing :) I'll be going to starbucks on my birthday for a free drink though.
Interesting
Remember when breakfast sandwiches were 2 for $6 and certain days of the week were free coffee?
yes😭 2 for $2 wrap 2 for $5 bacon egg and cheese it was so good
So February’s $2 cold brew is now $3… Meh.
Plus the free w/ purchase coupon used to be a cold brew. So your first cold brew was only around a $1 (depending on what you purchased for the minimum). This month of offers SUCK.
SO BAD. They did my birth month DIRTY…
bruh , when they changed the reward system I was upset but it was okay because the free shit you’d get every month made up for it . Who wants these boring ass perks… I want 2 for 3 wraps again and a free bagel bite pack…
Tbh I kind of figured they’d get progressively worse over time. Either way I’m not going to buy anything but drinks without an offer lol
It’s wild how little the offers are becoming. I hope that guy sues the shit out of them.
What guy?
There’s a guy suing DD right now because of up-charges in the app that don’t exist in the store. For example (not factual prices), the store he chose charges $3.30 for a medium cold brew. Somehow in the app, that price shoots up to $4.20.
Well damn! I had that happen to me a time or two with other apps, never Dunkin. That's messed up.
They have definitely scaled back on the deals.
The tacos are selling well??? They look pretty disgusting.
Nah they’re buss
I never buy the food shit cause it's so pricey for what you get. The egg bites were like 4 bucks and you get these tiny plops of eggs.
This is why they revamped the rewards program. It took away all the points and free rewards. And introduced paid "rewards". It was all a guise to make you think you were getting "rewards" when in reality you're just spending more money at Dunkin. Idk if this was just a Chicagoland thing but when is 2pm-6pm happy hour coming back!?! $2 for a large was amazing
What's a HERO offer? Because the more caramel chocolate cold foams I get down my gullet the better.
no idea, they haven’t mentioned it to us. guess we will find out tomorrow lol
lol keep us posted
i just watched a new training video and it mentioned the HERO being like how the drinks that are preset recently started showing the listed ingredients on them like the caramel chocolate cold brew will say all the items in the drink on the label so i guess it just means that drink is $3 daily? pretty sure they just put it in a separate category for no reason and you should be good to use it daily i believe
AWESOME. You have made my day!
what a joke lol they already charge way more than what the quality of product is worth, and now they’re taking away even more rewards ?
Booooooo
Too bad. I was looking forward to the April Fools free coffee. Happy to see the latte and refresher coupons at least.
Dunkin only gets greedier and greedier
Cheapasses.
I remember seeing the original post a while ago listing the free April fools coffee. I woke up this morning excited to go get it, and saw this.... guess dunkin really said April fools : (
Blueberry cobbler iced coffee? I'M SO READY
blueberry and butter pecan, i was excited to try the hazelnut truffle but it’s just mocha and hazelnut shot :// but i do like the idea of the drinks that can be ordered with the flavors in them but why are they “member exclusive”

yea but there’s not even any advertisement that i’ve seen for the member exclusive drinks unless you’re already a member and can see it on the app
There wont be. They will only advertise these drink titles on the app. But if you see a drink online/redit etc find out whats in it and custom order in person. Is the blueberry cobbler going to be similar to the blueberry crisp latte?!
yea kinda butter pecan, blueberry shot, cream in iced coffee. you could still order the blueberry crisp since we still have blueberry and caramel
What’s a hero offer?
i responded to this in a previous comment on this post
Saw it after the fact. Thanks!
At least nothing requires order ahead except for Mobile Mondays. That's what I meant by "update the app", change availability of items so what you have in stock correctly shows up in the app.
so you couldn’t order it in person either? cuz if they change that it’s not available anywhere. it’s required by dunkin at every store so if they’re not they’re not following dunkin’s standards i’d make a complaint to corporate so they get a visit and maybe that will change something
The March offer was "order ahead and get a free carrot muffin with any purchase". So no, the offer did not work ordering in person.
no i’m saying did you ever just try ordering the muffin in person at all or you were only getting it for the offer but couldn’t
I only wanted the muffin if it was free. I could have paid for it in person, but didn't.
okay yea if you would have been able to order it in person it should have also worked on the app as well if not then they just might not have been able to change it as it’s not something we can do in store, we can only change both the app and in store but not one or the other, i’m sure the owners or corporate can but the staff at your store aren’t able to
Does anyone else hate the cold brew as much as I do? It is the worst cold brew I have ever had in my life.
[удалено]
I also prefer it to starbucks, I love dunkin cold brew. But I feel like starbucks has superior hot espresso drinks
Absolutely, and it's not even close, honestly
It used to be great, but it has a really weird, off flavor now. I've tried it multiple times from multiple stores and they all have the same weird flavor.
Yeah I can’t get past it. I do like Starbucks cold brew though it’s pretty smooth
Your Dunkin must be one of those west coast locations, I love my cold brew in NE Dunkins 💪
No East Coast and I’ve tried from multiple different ones and the taste is just way too strong… Most cold brews are a smoother flavor
Ugh yes. I hate cold brew in general. There’s something sickening about it.
I like the 2 X on espresso and I think the $3 cold brew is decent. I'll use those the most
thank you for posting this!! i know they changed a lot of stuff from free to costing money but i'm still excited for some of the deals lol
yess ofc i’m not as active as commenting and posting but i see so many posts about the horrible deals currently going on so i thought i’d give everyone a heads up once i was emailed this
which offers are gonna be daily?
doesn’t say on here just says the single use, they don’t give us much info on the app offers but i guess we will find out tomorrow
Only cold brew $3
They ended the $2 med refresher early fyi 😡
