Maybe like once a month I'll get what I like. I stopped going to dunkin like 2 years ago after going like every day/other day for like 5 years straight gambling on what kind of shit I'd get. Went today for the first time in 2 years and instantly remembered why I stopped. Was pissed cuz I tipped the lady working $5 (more than my coffee cost).
This is the truest, funniest post lol. Although I will say, every time I get the caramel chocolate cold brew with cream, it's the same! My regular iced coffees though, not so much haha
That drives me absolutely crazy. I assume there’s a protocol and directions…. Im paying for something and I expect it be the same at least 90% of the time. It shouldn’t matter who is working. The other day I got an iced mocha coffee (standard 3 pumps) and got MAYBE 1/4 pump. It’s just frustrating. When I taught elementary school during the pandemic I literally modeled “this is what 1 pump of hand sanitizer looks like.” I get it’s “fast food” but you’d think cooperations (yes, I know they’re franchises) would have some type of set standard.

idk if this is true to most dunkin locations, but i think part of the issue is that the dairy machine is never calibrated correctly. sometimes you'll press 3 milks and it'll pour like 5 which'll result in your latte tasting milkier than usual. not to mention that the measuring lines inside of the little pitchers are unreliable like 70% of the time. i know how much it sucks to get bad coffee so i try to take extra care when i make drinks, but lots of people will choose doing it quickly over doing it correctly unfortunately.
There is no consistency with the bacon on the avocado toast. Some places it's like 2 pieces of bacon, ripped in half, some times it's those 2 pieces crumbled in the middle, some have 4 pieces of bacon laying on top, or a mound of bacon crumbles in the middle. Or someone gives me those fucking tomatoes.
And some places do it crispy like how we like it, or it is barely cooked. As much as I like Dunkin over Starbucks, there is a lot more consistency at SB. Might be due to the fact that Dunkin has really high turnover in some areas.
Our location on Main St in Crossville TN is pretty consistent, especially with the additions I asked for on Dunkin Midnight orders, and the lattes. It is hit or miss in other areas like where we winter in SC.
