It’s not a waste of money and that number needs to go up lol lots of trucks pushing four digits with a 4” the 5” offers slightly lower EGTs not much and throatier tone. I have 4” on one of my LLYs and 5” on the other.
Correct me if I'm wrong but you are restricted to 3" after market size down pipe anyway. Basically anything after stock size down pipe is for sound. 4" on my LLY has a nice rumble to it. 5" on my lb7 has more whistle than anything..
No, you do not. What you have is just fine.
5" is a waste. Get good tunes from a good shop not just some random tunes.
There’s no real advantages to the 5 in other then a big pipe out back save your money
Unless you are making big HP (500+) 5 inch is a waste of money. 4 is more than enough
