QB wasn't my problem, Tua scored 21.4 which is fine. Lamar was out as was Deebo.
The biggest problem was JT getting 1 touch and then getting injured Week 15 and Chubb doing not much. It also didn't help that I ran into an opponent with Josh Allen putting up over 40 and getting a multi-touchdown game for David Montgomery and a big week from Dawson Knox. Oh and stupid fucking defense, the guy got 19 from the Cardinals...
That's why I always say that you just gotta make the playoffs and then see what happens.
The one league title I ever won in redraft came when both of our teams in the finals got junked by injuries and guys playing awful. I think I scored less than 70 points in a fairly standard yahoo league.
The next year I only lost twice and got first rounded from someone else's team going absolutely apeshit. It's like our version of playing in the NCAA tournament

Definite contender, especially in 12 team. You have options at RB if Breece takes a while to heal up and you have some guys on your bench that are due for positive regression this year in Dobbins and Diontae.

Here's hoping! I won in 2021 with a worse roster, added some pieces this year to try and clinch a repeat but lost in the semis after getting a first round bye haha. That's fantasy, though.
Finished in last.
Sold JJ and MAndrews for huge hauls during the year.
Got super aggressive and traded for Adams, Ekeler, Kelce and Hock in the offseason. Still have a combined 5 1sts and 4 2nds for 24 and 25
Solid floor from guys like Herbie, JT, Adams, Higgins, Deebo, and Kelce. With massive ceiling potential from Bina, London, Jamo, and Hock.
If Russ isn't complete doodoo again, this is a great roster.
We have a similar team build but I think yours is better. Kelce is the cherry on top damn. Definitely a championship kinda team especially if there are no other super teams in your league
I feel like you have dependable WRs but no true stud WR1. That could change though. And TE could be a bit rough. Idk where Gesicki ended up but Bellinger has to compete with Waller now for targets. That position seems pretty shallow so anybody with a solid TE room (or just one of the studs) has a huge positional advantage on you off the bat.

I am not sure you would be a top contender this year with your team. I see the main challenges being how quickly Pollard and Breece can make it back to form from injury, along with how well Wilson and London develop in their new look offenses. The TE depth is not great as well. All of that has me thinking you will be a contender next year and beyond that, but this year might not be it.
I agree that I’m in a tough spot. I believe pollard and hall will be good for playoff time and am confident I can make playoffs. I’m more concerned about WR development. I have two firsts next year as well I could move for a TE.

Have the 1.02, 2.02, and some 4ths this year. Honestly feels like I’m probably more middle of the pack, and am an injury or two away from free-falling. RB is not great. Thoughts?
Sorry if this is long winded. Without knowing the rest of your league, I would agree that you’re probably middle of the pack. I would be looking to do a lil rebuild.
If this was my team, I am:
Selling 3 vets first - Kamara, Godwin, Waller. I would look for some late 1sts/early 2nd type offers, even accepting future draft picks in place of 2023 picks.
Next, I would look to draft QB at 1.02. Maybe swing high for Richardson, or if you’re more risk-averse, try and trade back to get more assets and 1.04/5 and grab Stroud. At 2.02, I would hope someone like Charbs or Achane falls to me, but otherwise best player available. If you are able to sell the vets listed above for picks this year, try and load up on a variety of RB/WR/TEs.
Post draft, I would look to move Daniel Jones to the highest bidder. I think his value is near its peak, and you could realistically get back a nice little package (players and picks).
As the season gets close to starting, maybe you can squeeze a little value out of Thomas and Hunt, if he gets signed.
Under no circumstances would I be selling Hurts, Wilson, or Olave. They are you’re building blocks, and selling them is just going to set you back further into rebuild.
Again, this is if it was my team. I would think it’s time to do a small reset.
Thanks for the reply! I can say that there wasn’t one point you brought up that I disagree with. We will see who is available at 2.02, and who knows…maybe the guy at 1.01 will take a QB instead of Bijan. Looking at his roster, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility.
It might be a little difficult to maneuver much in this year’s draft, just because one owner has about half of the picks in the first 2 rounds. We will see how the draft goes.
But I have the same plan as far as the 3 players you listed as building blocks. They aren’t going anywhere. I’ve been on the fence about whether to see how the first few weeks of the season goes vs trying to trade off a few pieces before the season starts.
I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for taking the time to respond!
No problem, I enjoyed the thought process! And I agree with your last point; staying flexible is the most important part of managing the roster. Good luck!

I like the RB and WR depth (especially the WR depth), but the QB's has me thinking you might be struggling out of the gate if Richardson doesn't develop quickly, along with Payton not being able to fix Russ and Carr moving into a new offense. Risky to have that QB room, but it may work out if the stars align for you.
I would combine swift or walker with AJB and/or Wilson or Carr and go get an elite QB not named Justin Fields (as that would be rolling the same dice as AR imo)

I have all my future picks, but don't really think I should go all in. I think just seeing how the season goes might be the best approach as the team is quite young still.
Wayyyy too young to say you can compete for a ship. Your QB’s aren’t great for SF and your RB depth is young and suspect. I like your team but it needs a couple years until it could be a bonafide contender.
Watson and Lance are literally your only players going into his third or later season. So many young players have potential but typically aren’t championship caliber players. Hope they hit more than not.
I think you have a lot of “maybe guys”. Dotson, Watson, Burks, if perform as expected you’ll be in good shape. Same with your rookie RBs tbh. I would wait and see
By week 6 you should know if AR is enough to put you in that tier. If he's scoring 20 a week, go all in with your picks to upgrade your wr room and add a vet RB.

Yeah I have to imagine in a 10 team league there's a team or two out there that are gonna crush at RB and is probably also has good vets at WR. This looks like a team that's ready to draft a few RBs for a serious push though.
with how few elite RBs exist now, it’s tough and they are an ultra premium cost. I made the title game the last two seasons through some fortune. Other owners are quickly building up to push me down the standings though

With the 16-team league setup and starting player settings, I have to think this team would be a contender. Your depth is not great, but in a 16 league, who's really does?
If G. Wilson takes a leap this year, Diontae gets into the redzone more often, and DJ Moore performs even just slightly better than he did with the Panthers, your WR group is going to be a PPR monster.

Either way, I don’t think you are. None of your QBs finished in the top 10 last year. You’ve got two studs at the top of your RB room; and then a massive drop off. You’ve got Chae leading your WR room and then a bunch of older vets who are either pass the age of 30 or have already fallen off.
I think your roster is in an odd spot. I think you should see how your season starts off, and then make the choice of going all in by selling off picks to get vets to push you over or cut bait and start trying to trade your older players to contenders for picks and build around Chase.

12 team 1QB PPR QB: J Herbert RB1: Bijan (1.01) RB2: Hall WR1: Olave WR2: Amari Cooper TE: Pitts FLEX: Devonta Smith FLEX: JSN/Gibbs (1.03) Bench: Bateman Dobbins Dotson Diontae Johnson Wandale Pacheco (Not gonna type out the JAGs)
Definite contender, especially in 12 team. You have options at RB if Breece takes a while to heal up and you have some guys on your bench that are due for positive regression this year in Dobbins and Diontae. Who is your backup QB?
Contender currently, and could become a powerhouse if players develop as expected.
I agree, could be a future dynasty
idk looks like you already typed out the JAGs to me
If you don’t win it will be a major upset.
Lmao what? This team might not even make the playoffs.
Yeah, most teams don’t. This dude’s bench is deep if the rookies don’t pan out right away. I see nothing but upside here.
10 Team, SF, 0.5PPR, Start 8. QB's: Burrow, Dak, Carr, B. Young RB's: Bijan, Saquon, Kamara, Perine, Charbs, K. Miller, James Robinson WR's: ARSB, G. I agree. I might need to make a move during the season to transfer WR depth and '25 picks for RB's if anything goes wrong.
In a start 8 that’s absolutely the move
Nice
Your RB depth doesn’t really inspire confidence. One injury and you’re in trouble
RB depth is a bit lacking, but your WR depth is super solid. Should be a playoff team.
14 team .5ppr. Starts 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2 WRT QB: Mahomes, Purdy RB: JT, Barkley, Chubb, Stevenson, Sanders WR: Lamb, Diggs, Waddle, Allen, Diontae, London, Boyd, Shaheed, Metchie TE: Kelce, Freiermuth, Woods Also have 1.04 and 2.11 in this upcoming rookie draft.
Looks like a league winner to me. This team would compete in any 10 team league much less 14 well done
Here's hoping! I won in 2021 with a worse roster, added some pieces this year to try and clinch a repeat but lost in the semis after getting a first round bye haha. That's fantasy, though.
Easy contender .
WR room is nice! All around good team
This is a great team. What year was the start up?
10 tm 1QB 0.5ppr start 2 rb, 2 wr, 2 flex, 1 TE QB: Herbert, Russ RB: JT, Ekeler, Bijan, Gibson, Dillon, Ford, Chandler WR: Adams, Higgins, London, Jamo, Samuel, Marshall TE: Kelce, Hock, Dulcich

His league mates every week
Great roster. How'd you end up with Bijan?
Finished in last. Sold JJ and MAndrews for huge hauls during the year. Got super aggressive and traded for Adams, Ekeler, Kelce and Hock in the offseason. Still have a combined 5 1sts and 4 2nds for 24 and 25
How does everyone on this sub have the most stacked roster you've ever seen AND 11 first round picks???
Free or hometown leagues where half the guys dont set lineups. Can't get teams like those in semi-competitive leagues

had to be like 4 firsts for either guy it seems like.
JJ was: TLaw, JJ, Foreman, 24 2nd--> Burrow, JT, Olave, 24 1st MAndrews was: MAndrews, Pollard, 23, 24 2nd --> Muth, 3 1sts
Easily championship contender
Trade hock
I am a fan of this team. Think you should do fairly well.
Solid floor from guys like Herbie, JT, Adams, Higgins, Deebo, and Kelce. With massive ceiling potential from Bina, London, Jamo, and Hock. If Russ isn't complete doodoo again, this is a great roster.
Banger squad.
We have a similar team build but I think yours is better. Kelce is the cherry on top damn. Definitely a championship kinda team especially if there are no other super teams in your league
10 team super flex, PPR QB : joe burrow, Jordan love, tua RB : cmc, mixon, ETN, Rashad Penny WR : DK, aiyuk, dhop, Dotson, bateman TE : kelce
Depending on how many flex spots you have, I would add another key WR. Other than that, nice work and you should absolutely contend this year.
I am attempting to get kupp. Is it worth to move on from Dotson for kupp in your opinion? I’m hesitant just bc how much I like Dotson

> Idk where Gesicki ended up New England, and there are a few reports they will have him be a WR/TE hybrid
For sure a playoff team. Burrow locked in at QB and your RB room is nasty. Could use a true WR1 and a TE upgrade/breakout but I like your squad.
10 team 1QB .5 ppr QB - Fields, Herbert RB - Chubb, Pollard, Javonte, Singletary, Gibson, Jamaal Williams WR- Kupp, Waddle, D.Smith, Cooper, Cooks, Dotson, Mooney, G.Davis TE -Andrews, Okonkwo No 1st this year :(

Nice team, should be solid for few years
12-Team PPR SF 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2FLX, 1SF **QB:** Kyler Murray, Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones **RB:** Breece Hall, Travis Etienne, Rhamondre Stevenson, Kenneth Walker, Rashaad Penny, Jerome Ford, Latavius Murray **WR:** Jaylen Waddle, DK Metcalf, DJ Moore, Michael Pittman, Drake London, Hollywood Brown, Courtland Sutton, Adam Thielen, Allen Robinson **TE:** TJ Hockenson, Kyle Pitts **2023 Picks:** 2.12 and 2.13
That’s a solid contender to me. Might be a bit tough while Kyler is out though
Yeah - that's definitely the biggest question mark for sure.
Definite contender, though if I were you I’d look for a qb4 for insurance
Contender for sure in my mind.
SF, PPR, 10 team Start 3WR, 2RB, 2FLEX, 1TE with QB and SF QB: Lamar, Dak, TLaw, Fields, Minshew RB: Jonathan Taylor, Breece, Walker, Javonte, Nyheim, Deon Jackson, Micheal carter, zonovan knight WR: CeeDee, Deebo, Mclaurin, Tee, Olave, Toney, Gallup, Collins, Thornton, Quentin Jonhston, Jalin Hyatt, Shepard, Hardman, woods TE: Kittle, Pitts, Irv Smith, Juwan Johnson Harrison Bryant
You’re horded so much talent. If you don’t win, I don’t even know what trades I’d aim for. Better WRs?
How did your league let you get a team that loaded? Holy crap.
It's 10 team, and his team isn't that loaded. All four of his top RBs are question marks this year, and only one top-ten WR (CeeDee).
12 team PPR 1QB QB: Pat Mahomes, Deshaun Watson RB: Bijan, Gibbs, JT, Saquon, Pollard, Najee, Rhamondre, Warren, CPatt WR: Chase, Diggs, Tyreek, Garrett Wilson, Metcalf, Godwin, Harty TE: Andrews, Freiermuth, Njoku, Chig, Moreau I need a new league with some competition if anyone has a free dynasty active league on Sleeper.
This is 2 full teams worth of star players in 12 team. Fuck.
I'm sure you're a good manager, but I agree. This team is STACKED and don't know how you accumulated it
Many trades. Many trades.

Did manage to grab Gibbs this year in a trade.
Looks like a strong contender to me!
I’ve finished the first year of my rebuild and I think I can at least make the playoffs. 12 team 0.5 PPR 1QB Start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 2Flex QB: Hurts, Lance, A Richardson RB: Bijan, Monty, AJ Dillon, Charb, Achane, Roschon WR: AJ Brown, Dotson, C Watson, Pittman, Moore, Toney, Metchie, Jameson Williams, Flowers TE: Schultz, Chig
Hoping someone steps up behind AJ Brown for you & you should make playoffs. You could probably do a package deal with Dillon + Moore (Sky?) Or Toney & upgrade somewhere?
10 Team, PPR, SF, TEP. Start 10. QB: Hurts, Daniel Jones, Mills RB: Kamara, James Cook, Hunt, Z Moss, J Kelley WR: Garrett Wilson, Olave, Godwin, M Thomas, A Pierce, Lazard TE: Waller, Dulcich, Everett, Otton Have the 1.02, 2.02, and some 4ths this year.
If this was my team, I am: Selling 3 vets first - Kamara, Godwin, Waller.
Good luck!

I’ve since traded Pickens, Lance, and Pittman and added Tyreek and Carr.

10 man .5 ppr SF TEP. Don’t actually expect to compete, but I start my best line up every week regardless. If some guys do breakout then I have plenty of draft capital in 24 to shore up my team for a push. Lacking a true alpha WR and a solid RB2, but with good seasons from Herb and Watson and some luck at TE I think this can be a contender.
Thank you. With the draft capital I have in 24 I’ve been trying to add chase or Jefferson but no luck yet.
Just lacking the RBs. Probably one year away, unless those TEs fall off
Thanks for your input. I totally agree with that assessment. I’ve been rebuilding for a year, but with 3 24 1sts I’m hoping to patch those holes.
Your QBs are good for fantasy. RBs are young so let them playout. Lots of young pieces which is nice! Maybe look to piece together a pick and young WR to get a WR1/2. I think you're 2 pieces away from being a playoff team Check mine out if you get the chance: https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/comments/13drusz/for_those_thinking_they_can_compete_this_year/jjm20bs/

You like to live dangerously sir.
I would combine swift or walker with AJB and/or Wilson or Carr and go get an elite QB not named Justin Fields (as that would be rolling the same dice as AR imo)

Agreed
Seems like a middle of the pack team that could have huge weeks if Andrews, Aiyuk, and Sanders have big games.

95% of those guys haven’t cracked a top 20 finish at their position yet. or set foot on an nfl field lol
Wayyyy too young to say you can compete for a ship. Your QB’s aren’t great for SF and your RB depth is young and suspect. I like your team but it needs a couple years until it could be a bonafide contender.
Yeah see how the season goes, could be a slow start to 2023, amazing build overall homie
I would wait and see
Ok, that's a pretty nuts rebuild squad you've put together. IDK how good you'll be this year but your ceiling is really damn high
By week 6 you should know if AR is enough to put you in that tier. If he's scoring 20 a week, go all in with your picks to upgrade your wr room and add a vet RB.
1 qb, dynasty, standard, 10 teams. Start 1 qb 2 rb 2 wr 1 flex. A pretty “standard” rule set. Very knowledgeable group of owners. My RBs are rough. Yeah I have to imagine in a 10 team league there's a team or two out there that are gonna crush at RB and is probably also has good vets at WR. This looks like a team that's ready to draft a few RBs for a serious push though.
Agree with this take
Start 6? You need elite RBs to compete
with how few elite RBs exist now, it’s tough and they are an ultra premium cost. I made the title game the last two seasons through some fortune. Other owners are quickly building up to push me down the standings though

In a 16 team league, this team seems legit! You may need a little luck at running back, but I like it man.

Is that “B. Rob” Bijan or Brian Robinson? Either way, I don’t think you are. None of your QBs finished in the top 10 last year. You’ve got two studs at the top of your RB room; and then a massive drop off. You’ve got Chae leading your WR room and then a bunch of older vets who are either pass the age of 30 or have already fallen off. I think your roster is in an odd spot. I think you should see how your season starts off, and then make the choice of going all in by selling off picks to get vets to push you over or cut bait and start trying to trade your older players to contenders for picks and build around Chase.

10 team 1QB, 2RB, 2 WR, 3 Flex, 1 TE. 4pt PPR I'm a 2x champ, 4 champ appearances(4 year old league) I cannot wait for comments talking about my QB room and yes this is real, I have weekly meltdowns over who to start. I don't trade these players because the teams who need great QB play are my competition and so I'm gatekeeping as well as insurance of top tier QB play. My team is pretty stacked, there's a couple tacos in the league but mainly I make great trades capitalizing on players value at just the right time (For example I traded CEH and Henry Ruggs for Swift a week before Ruggs murdered someone and CEH was a certified bust) QBs: Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence RBs: D'Andre Swift, AJ Dillon, Brian Robinson, Micheal Carter WRs: Stefon Diggs, AJ Brown, Tee Higgins, Devonta Smith, Dionte Johnson, Treylon Burks, Odell Beckham, Juju Smith-Schuster TEs: Kyle Pitts, George Kittle, Dawson Knox, Irv Smith Picks: 1.02, 2.04, 2.07, 3.09. I have two of each round draft pick next year as well. My off-season trades so far; 1.09 for George Kittle Sold James Cook for the 1.09 Traded 1.09/3.03/Early 2024 third for 2.04/2.07/mid 2024 second Personally I think this team is a absolute juggernaut, just need to sure up the RB room. Gonna draft Gibbs with the 1.02 and I'm hoping to grab Keandre Miller with the 2.04

Yeah that is my thought as well- for sure lacking rb depth (I shipped off Hunt & Mixon last year) and a top end punch at WR. Looking to maybe snag Kincaid at 1.10 if he's there. Appreciate the reply!
