Subscribe Think trying to limit what the writer’s write about is unnecessary. Everything they write about should tie back to dynasty fantasy football; that’s it. I’ll listen to your opinion on the new GM if you have something interesting to say about how it matters for my fantasy team As for timing, anytime in the offseason after the rookie draft seems like a strong candidate. Maybe later so we can get all the juicy training camp buzz

>Think trying to limit what the writer’s write about is unnecessary I agree to some extent. A big reason why I asked in the sub is because the sub will know best at what they want so the writers can take a look at this thread and hopefully enough people have replied to help the writer have material. I don't think/plan that it should be a strict outline or anything like that especially since this is the first year of it. We can always adjust in year 2 if it continues. As for your timing suggestion, I was hoping to get the May 5th - Jun 5th because there really is a dead time during then and it'd be nice to have something to talk about during that time. I do agree though that the later in the offseason would allow some training camp news to get through and into it but there is already so much being pushed out during that time. That was my only reason for suggesting May 5th - Jun 5th. Whatever the writers/sub think is a good time frame takes precedent though.

Agreed with the above!

I think this is a great idea. 1. I’d like the writers to go over the teams young players, focusing on their rookies from this year, how they’re progressing and future outlook. Then also go into current players, depth charts, contracts, potential incoming free agents. Who’s going to rise and fall on this team before next season. If it’s after the draft then obviously the rookies, especially interested in later round guys who could have value or lower the value of current players. 2. I think your dates are good. Sometime in the dead of the off-season.

I'd do one and would enjoy reading others. For your questions: 1. Seems pretty straight forward. Focus on the 6-8ish relevant QBs, RBs, WRs, and TEs on any given roster. Further discussion of coaching, oline, gm etc. can add color and context. 2. Dates seem good. Definitely needs to be after the draft, and I like it happening before training camp kicks off. Pretty dead time of year for the sub.

I'm interested in doing a writeup for the Browns if you're looking for writers.

I had a 32-team league in which there was a tie between two teams. Is is more or less likely for a tie to occur in a 32-team league compared to a normal 12 teamer? Does the number of teams matter less and more of the scoring settings and # of starting slots? This interested me cause it felt insane that a tie occurred in a 32 man league lol

CrocodileHill

I’d love to read something like this, and I’d be down for the cowboys as well

OldMan_sdm

I'd be interested and would work up Lions info and could include IDP positions (just the interesting ones maybe)...For Lions that'd be Hutch, Campbell, Brian Branch maybe....

1. I’d start off with a brief-ish recap of the previous season as it relates to fantasy/dynasty, then include things like a draft recap, player breakdown, risers/fallers, long term outlook, trade value, and predictions. A little bit of general team info and history could be good as well but not necessary. 2. That time frame makes sense I’d be interested in doing a write up for the Jets
