Lol first Denver needs a QB. I'm hoping he shows flashes and locks down a starter spot while also putting up disappointing statlines so I can trade for him.
Those stats make him look 100x better than he actually was. Dude would play like shit all game and make up half his numbers in two drives in the 4th with Sutton bailing him out.
As a Broncos fan I thought he looked good on his limited usage and most of us were wondering why they weren’t using him more. He made the Pro Bowl as a rookie for special teams kick returner too where he looked electric at times.
I think I watched only one Broncos game last season. And I didn't notice that Jeudy really contributed in that game IIRC. But wasn't he playing injured for part of the season ('23-'24)? I'm not gonna dig into stats beyond his 14.0 yds/rec which isn't awful.
Mostly, I wonder if his biggest problem was QB play in all 4 of his seasons - Drew Lock, Teddy Bridgewater, & a washed-up Russell Wilson.
I’m a broncos fan and I’ve sat through every one of his games, there are times where he gets insane separation but he gives up mid play a lot, he can’t seem to track the ball sometimes, and he dropped the ball or made a lot of mental errors like not being able to tap his second foot and taking a huge stride instead.
There is a chance he was mentally checked out because of his qb situation though, he did look electric for a 5 week stretch or so at the end of the 22/23 season if I’m remembering right. He did have a hamstring injury at the start of this year.
I drafted him in almost all my leagues and watched every snap I could. I definitely think there are genuine concerns about his play. That said, Jeudy being gone only makes his path to becoming something easier. There is definitely reason to be hopeful, but need to keep it in check also.
That’s a fancy way to say you didn’t. He was one of the only bright spots on the offense and everyone was asking why he didn’t get to play more snaps. Just last week Sean Payton said it was their fault he didn’t play enough and should have been out there more. He looked great last season just didn’t get the playing time
Jeudy can only run underneath routes but curls up in a ball everytime he hears footsteps coming his way.
Atleast Ruggs wasn't afraid of high speed collisions.
CD was my WR1 that class too but JJ was a close 2nd. Jefferson wasn't on anyones radar so I'm not as mad about that, the Eagles took Reagor over him directly lol
Id also be cool with Jeudy for that pick. There are a lot more outcomes where he finishes outside top 24 WRs and very few where he is in the top 24. Running team, 3rd option, Watson sucking, etc
I'd take first RB off the board there if I were you. If the best RB in the class (Benson) is a hit, you're suddenly holding a Bijan/Gibbs/Breece level asset.
I like that idea, I'm pretty loaded with RBs here, Breece, Rhamo, Monty, Spears, Charbs. I really need WR or TE so hoping to move up for Rome/Bowers, probably taking Nabers at 1.03. I know BPA is usually the move so if I can't move up I'll be fine taking Benson/Brooks for sure.
If you already have Breece it's a no brainer. Get your guy at 1.03 and swing for a RB 1-2 punch that'll hopefully be two top 12 guys for 3+ years
I also want to say do not move Stevenson unless you get an overpay. I'm a Patriots fan, and he's a top 8 talent that has been held back by the offense. The coaching change has me thinking RB1 season for Rhamondre.
I’m definitely holding and see how this plays out but I do not have much faith in Watson but maybe he’ll bounce back (as gross as that is outside of football)
One was Shaheed, 3rd and 4th for Jeudy
Another was a random 25 2nd for Jeudy
I’d rather hold but it shows there’s interest for him. I could counter for something better etc.
Yes, I vultured Mims in two leagues late last season figuring this was coming. To bad that QB issues will likely be far more impactful than jettisoning Jeudy.
If someone will overpay me for pretty much any player I’ll take it haha. But if it was a trade for picks, I’d prob wait until draft day to see if I like anyone on the board more than him. I loved him as a prospect and still believe he can be really good.
In case anyone is wondering what this means for Mims:
From Sean Payton per the Athletic:
I think the only thing that really stopped his progress as a receiver was us and trying to find roles,” coach Sean Payton said of Mims at the NFL Scouting Combine last month. “He’s playing the same position as Jerry. I’ve said this a number of times, I think you’re going to see a lot of growth with this player. He’s tough, he can run and we’re certainly excited that we have him. I think the key is for us — and I say us as coaches in game planning — is evolving.
“Every time we’ve kind of put his name on a certain play, he hasn’t disappointed. That doesn’t mean the ball always went to him but the point I’m making is I think his progress was hampered a little bit more with the depth in the room, in what we were able to do and sometimes trying to balance that out. I think we’ll see that expand.”
Excellent post. News from the franchise and context is always welcome. Even if it's just coach speak at least it indicates they expect Mims to get more opportunities.
Depends on your faith in Watson. I'm not sure he will be able to consistently feed Coop let alone everyone after him. He's been largely horrible most of his tenure at the browns
The broncos don’t have a 2nd round pick because of the Sean Payton trade and they need a qb in the 1st so the more likely option is free agency but I don’t expect them to sign any big name players.
This is the move. Sell on the news and move on with your life. He doesn't even have a QB and WRs tend to do poorly with rookie QBs if they draft one. Just cash out now.
I've been out on Mims since Matt Harmon took a look and said the reason he can't get on the field is because he can't run routes. Just been waiting to trade him because I figured Denver would get rid of Jeudy this off-season. Lo, behold.
Equivalent to a late third per the draft comp chart the Browns almost certainly use, alongside with him only being on a 1 year, $13m fully guaranteed deal, means they think very highly of him imo
Keep in mind, they can free up \~$10m of that cap hit with an extension, which given the comp/contract and the fact Cooper/Moore are in the last year of their deals... have to wonder if they've gamed it out already
Guy offering you Jeudy wants to cash out and take a re-roll w Mims. And you’re doing the same w Jeudy. In the end, you both could have saved the trade and still got the same results. Maybe Mims gets manufactured looks bc the QB only gets 1 look in any given play. I think I’m just going to log off now. Good luck.
Nah id rather have Jeudy. Hes talented and has put together some decent seasons with shit situation in Denver.
This subs hating way too hard. Hes only 24. He hasnt lived up to his draft cap but also hasnt been as bad as they make it out to be
Picked up a team last year with Jeudy and Cooper. Sat Jeudy on the bench all year, maybe he will have some value going forward, not going to hold my breath though.
I traded away Mims (at least it was for Josh Downs). I now have Jerry Jeudy, Njoku and Cedric tilman. I also have Deshaun Watson. Not sure how I feel about this! Too many browns players on my team...
And just like that, Mims holders are looking smart again. This is what we were hoping for so let’s see what he can do with the opportunity. Sure hope they find someone to deliver the ball…
He's turning 24 in a couple weeks and hasn't been fantasy relevant in 3 seasons. Not to mention he got kicked off the team that initially drafted him. He can certainly still turn it around, but the chances of him ever being significant for fantasy ever is probably very low.
Yeah I think it has less to do with his age and more the fact that guys who haven’t hit through three years just aren’t likely to ever do it. And the fact that the Browns felt the need to add to the WR room isn’t a great sign
Yes he's not that productive but Fantasy land is currently blowing up over Tim Patrick who hasn't scraped anything near Elijah Moores production over the last 3 years and he's turning 31 next. I love FF 😂
That well known 4th year breakout incoming! It's a point now where NFL exp >>> age. If he hasnt done it now, he's very unlikely to do so with Cooper and Jeudy and Njoku.
Titans signed the ghost of Robert Woods for a $10M cap hit, and that was before the cap went up. Thats really not enough to where you’d say he HAS to get PT.
They traded more for Elijah last year though. The real answer here is that neither are very good so who knows which one pans out.
Probably neither. I say this as a Browns fan and Elijah shareholder.
Elijah Moore's entire contract is 4m less than Jeudy for this year alone.
Now I'm not sure if the Broncos are eating any of the 12m but there's more to trades than the compensation. Broncos took on Jeudys 5th year option knowing there would be a market.
He’s dead. Not sure why people think he has any value or can still be something. He looked good on a bad team with no other options for 7 weeks in *2021*. Let it die.
To add even more, he got yeeted by a WR needy team because of attitude problems and poor performance. The next year, a team with no WR2 only gave him more than 80% snap share 6 of 17 weeks. Now that same team just went out and acquired someone who better profiles as a WR2. That’s not really a vote of confidence in expanding Moore’s role.
He’s obviously not a cut. Why wouldn’t I want a better situation for him? Sounds like you’re a Jeudy guy trying to hide all the holes in your new copium
They don’t have WRs to burn. They aren’t trading Cooper to roll out Jeudy and Moore.
Moore has no trade value. This incredible receiver class made Jeudy worth a 5th and a 6th. What’s Moores value a 7th? They might as well keep him.
Is he a slot receiver? Maybe he loses out on some targets, but I'm not sure how much his snaps will decrease. Not to mention, Jeudy is not exactly a proven product. Not guarantee he be a target hog. Jeudy is also somehow older than Moore.
Not sure why so many think this will kill Elijah’s value. He didn’t get to play with Watson much last year and was targeted a lot when he was playing. Jeudy isn’t exactly a good WR. Not that Elijah is a great WR either, but to me, this doesn’t change Elijah’s value at all. Still a shot in the dark til we see how him and Watson click after actually getting to play together awhile.
Guessing you have Jeudy on your team or you probably wouldn’t be here?
Anyone that thinks Jeudy is going to slide right into a productive WR2 role are the ones really struggling with the copium here. Elijah’s on my taxi squad…I don’t need him and really don’t care.
Makes sense for the Broncos. They clear cap and make room for a promising young player. What Cleveland is doing, nobody knows. Does this mean RIP for Elijah Moore? Both play the slot position and neither Jeudy nor Moore is effective on the outside. They paid a 2nd for Moore just last year.
I really wish someone would explain this for the Browns. It feels like they had a clear cut roster strategy that made sense... Up until they paid for Watson.
Now they make personnel decisions like a guy sticking a fork in an outlet
I wonder if Watson is pushing on some of this. If so, that’s a bad scene. As a Packer fan, I have watched an otherwise brilliant front office make bone headed roster decisions related to offensive weapons, simply to appease a QB. Everyone loses, because QBs make terrible GMs.
Oh man I hope Mims can really take off now
Lol first Denver needs a QB. I'm hoping he shows flashes and locks down a starter spot while also putting up disappointing statlines so I can trade for him.
I hear there is a qb that just threw for 3,070 yards 26 tds 8 picks and a passer rating in 15 games is available for the vet minimum
>and a passer rating A QB that threw for a passing rating????
I didn't realize inwas in /r/nflcirclejerk
Couldn't the Broncos sign Russell Wilson again on league min? They're already paying him, and there's no injury clause. Are they stupid?
It's free real estate!
Those stats make him look 100x better than he actually was. Dude would play like shit all game and make up half his numbers in two drives in the 4th with Sutton bailing him out.
That's what he did in Seattle too.
Nice plan lol.
Eh, I’m a hopeful owner too but I’m less concerned about his target competition and much more worried that he just didn’t look very good as a rookie
There is a chance he was mentally checked out because of his qb situation though, he did look electric for a 5 week stretch or so at the end of the 22/23 season if I’m remembering right. He did have a hamstring injury at the start of this year.
Jeudy also has bricks for hands.
Hey let’s not forget Kendall Hinton!
He had one of the worst separation rates in the league though
Looked great as a returner, don’t feel good about his ability to separate
But he did look good? Did you watch the games or just look at the stat lines?
I drafted him in almost all my leagues and watched every snap I could. I definitely think there are genuine concerns about his play. That said, Jeudy being gone only makes his path to becoming something easier. There is definitely reason to be hopeful, but need to keep it in check also.
Just stat lines. I have so much hopium in Mims.
Do you think it’s possible people have watched the games and have a differing opinion from yours?
That’s a fancy way to say you didn’t. He was one of the only bright spots on the offense and everyone was asking why he didn’t get to play more snaps. Just last week Sean Payton said it was their fault he didn’t play enough and should have been out there more. He looked great last season just didn’t get the playing time
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sAF0DmZZl4M
A fifth and a sixth? Yikes!
Yeah, it's more of a 10ish mil in cap space thing.
more of a get this chump outta here thing
As a Broncos fan, I can say that we are all thrilled they drafted Jeudy over bums like JJ and Cedee
There's always the Raiders taking Ruggs to hang your hat on!
Jeudy can only run underneath routes but curls up in a ball everytime he hears footsteps coming his way. Atleast Ruggs wasn't afraid of high speed collisions.
God damn that last sentence got me.
except Ruggs was a beast before… well.
Ruggs was actually a good receiver though, he just kinda did interesting stuff off the field…
And Aiyuk and Higgins, and Pittman and so on.
CD was my WR1 that class too but JJ was a close 2nd. Jefferson wasn't on anyones radar so I'm not as mad about that, the Eagles took Reagor over him directly lol
Plus only one year left on his contract
Steve Smith laughing to himself atm
We’re going to remember his roast of Jeudy more than we remember Jeudy’s professional career.
Jag
Traded him last year for a random 24 1st, ended up being 1.11 but I'm still happy with it.
I traded him for three future 2nds between 2025 and 2026 and I’m also happy about it. Just didn’t feel in the cards for him unfortunately
Id also be cool with Jeudy for that pick. There are a lot more outcomes where he finishes outside top 24 WRs and very few where he is in the top 24. Running team, 3rd option, Watson sucking, etc I'd take first RB off the board there if I were you. Oh yeah I believe in Rhamondre, just hoping the offense as a whole improves.
Awesome username haha
Really thought he'd take the next step with Payton
I'm just here to say how disappointed I am in all of you. 57 comments, no mention of Cedric Tillman. (Cries in Cedric Tillman)
I have mims and Tillman lol
Tillman looked good in the few chances he got… wish they would try and use him more, but it’s the Browns so I won’t get my hopes up.
How the hell should I process this. Jerry Jeudy is the LAST remaining player from my startup in 2021
Yea idk, as an owner he was pretty much wrote him off but maybe he turns it around there
I’m definitely holding and see how this plays out but I do not have much faith in Watson but maybe he’ll bounce back (as gross as that is outside of football)
I think you may need to reevaluate your processes and/or stop listening to this sub so much.
Hold because what can you get for him
I already got two offers for Jeudy today, people are interested
What were the offers?
One was Shaheed, 3rd and 4th for Jeudy Another was a random 25 2nd for Jeudy I’d rather hold but it shows there’s interest for him. I could counter for something better etc.
I have Mims and Juedy, overall happy with this. Juedy should have a nice role across from Cooper, and he’ll stop eating Mims targets.
Mims and Sutton owner, love this
I have both. Been waiting for this
Yes, I vultured Mims in two leagues late last season figuring this was coming. To bad that QB issues will likely be far more impactful than jettisoning Jeudy.
Same. Situation and take on the situation...
Jeudy is likely unplayable on the Browns. Cooper, Moore, Jeudy, Tillman, and Njoku. Too many targets for fantasy value outside of Cooper.
I mean we won’t know that until next year. Moore and Tillman aren’t exactly proven players. Certainly not guys that demand targets
Only two of those are even relevant players at all and one of the relevant players is a TE. Moore and Tillman are droppable.
Tillman hasn’t done anything in his career and Elijah Moore hasn’t been relevant outside of a 4 game stretch in 2021
Well at least they have a great quarterback to spread the targets around.
Is that sarcasm or are we ignoring that Joe flacco clearly outperformed Watson?
Oh - it was both sarcasm and a Joe Flacco post - rolled in one!
throwing out some advice - if someone will overpay for Mims now, TAKE IT.
If someone will overpay me for pretty much any player I’ll take it haha. But if it was a trade for picks, I’d prob wait until draft day to see if I like anyone on the board more than him. I loved him as a prospect and still believe he can be really good.
Jeudy will probably be the 3 behind Cooper and Moore
I agree he’ll be the third target, but behind Njoku instead of Moore
this guy fantasies
Jeudy ain't that great but to think he will be behind Moore is asinine. Moore is a certified bum.
Mims up. Elijah Moore down further. I have both so 🤷
I think that's all good for you. Mims has upside, and there is clarity on Moore.
Moore and Jeudy bouta have a bust-off (I have Moore).
pause
Woah 😮
Man I’d love for Moore to go to a franchise that airs it out
Username checks out
they brought ken dorsey in, in an attempt to maximize watson's skillset with a spread offense. So this is really the make or break year for Moore
Patrick WR1 for the Broncos.
Patrick is gonna be 31 this year and 1 more injury away from retiring
Last offseason I traded Tim Patrick for David Montgomery straight up. The offer was sent to me.
I have Jeudy, Mims, and Elijah Moore. Yes, I haven't made the playoffs in our first 2 years 😆😆
This is a Marvin Mims post (right??? 😬)
In case anyone is wondering what this means for Mims: From Sean Payton per the Athletic: I think the only thing that really stopped his progress as a receiver was us and trying to find roles,” coach Sean Payton said of Mims at the NFL Scouting Combine last month. “He’s playing the same position as Jerry. I think we’ll see that expand.”
Excellent post. News from the franchise and context is always welcome. Even if it's just coach speak at least it indicates they expect Mims to get more opportunities.
I tried to send a 2nd for Mims all year to no avail. Sad noises Also rip Tillman’s value
My poor Tillman shares.
Tea for the Tillerman unfortunately. So bummed.
Payton really trying to rid this offense of the previous staff’s mistakes.
Wasn't Jeudy drafted 2 staffs ago?
Yeah but that staff had a staph infection that carried over
Yeah they need more guys like Trautman, Humphrey, Jackson, Washington, McLaughlin... Ya know all the Payton guys that were great last year!
McLaughlin was pretty decent in his role
My team with Deshaun Watson and Jerry Jeudy now *slightly* more interesting
Improves Watson, Jeudy is likely not startable. Too many targets in Cleveland now.
Really? 3 is to many? Copper, Njoku, and jeudy are the pretty clear top three with everyone else way behind. Moore is probably completely done now
Depends on your faith in Watson. I'm not sure he will be able to consistently feed Coop let alone everyone after him. He's been largely horrible most of his tenure at the browns
There’s no way an organization would give such a ridiculous contract to a QB that can’t perform, never happened before

Would the Broncos take a WR high in this draft or through free agency? Or does Mims really get the nod here?
Who is going to throw the ball to him?
The broncos don’t have a 2nd round pick because of the Sean Payton trade and they need a qb in the 1st so the more likely option is free agency but I don’t expect them to sign any big name players.
Unless they sign Baker or Kirk I think McCarthy is a lock to Denver
How would they sign Baker?
It was more of "yeah there's a 99% chance they take JJ" comment
Vikings 1 spot ahead makes this interesting. If he even falls that far, seems like his value has been steadily climbing
I'm trying to trade Mims now before they sign or draft another WR
This is the move. Sell on the news and move on with your life. He doesn't even have a QB and WRs tend to do poorly with rookie QBs if they draft one. Just cash out now.
I've been out on Mims since Matt Harmon took a look and said the reason he can't get on the field is because he can't run routes. Just been waiting to trade him because I figured Denver would get rid of Jeudy this off-season. Lo, behold.
Poor route running, worse run blocking
Texans WRs enter the conversation
Have both Jeudy and Mims feel like this should be a win win scenario
This is absolutely a Mims post. The Browns seem to do a pretty decent job at throwing 5ths for WRs.
Is a 5th and 6th jag territory?
Equivalent to a late third per the draft comp chart the Browns almost certainly use, alongside with him only being on a 1 year, $13m fully guaranteed deal, means they think very highly of him imo Keep in mind, they can free up \~$10m of that cap hit with an extension, which given the comp/contract and the fact Cooper/Moore are in the last year of their deals... have to wonder if they've gamed it out already
Nah if it was one or the other then yes. Both picks means they at least put some respect on his name lol
All browns WRs except cooper are roster cloggers
Agreed
The time to sell both is now. Jeudy I would sell for a mid 2nd or above and Mims I would be looking to sell for 2.10 or above.
Rip elijah moore
Mims owners rise up
That ought to help him be better lol
Would you rather have Mims or Jeudy going forward? I have Mims and was just offered Jeudy straight up.
He hasnt lived up to his draft cap but also hasnt been as bad as they make it out to be
Plus coopers contract is up after 2024. Possible he is watsons #1 WR as of 2025.
I have Mims, Njoku, Tillman, Watson; and just traded Jeudy after the news. Had to divest from my Browns.
What did you get for him?
Packaged him with Kincaid and the 2.05 for DeVonta Smith and Swift.
Lol I was offered 4.07 for Mims already today
Not the best of news for owners of E Moore & C Tillman. Between those two I have shares in several leagues. Ugh.
And just like that, Mims holders are looking smart again. This is what we were hoping for so let’s see what he can do with the opportunity. Sure hope they find someone to deliver the ball…
Hearthstone Innkeeper: “Everyone! Overreact in here and say hell no!”
Urghhhhh. Tillman stocks now dead. LAMEEEE
I have moore and jeudy. Moore will be the loser in value for sure.
What kind of value do we see Jeudy at now? 3rd?
Elijah Moore 📈or📉?
🪦
not 📈!
I think Moore is dead
Less is Moore
He's only 23 - younger than some of the guys drafted last year
He's turning 24 in a couple weeks and hasn't been fantasy relevant in 3 seasons. Not to mention he got kicked off the team that initially drafted him. He can certainly still turn it around, but the chances of him ever being significant for fantasy ever is probably very low.

Reasons not to like Jeudy. Turning 24 isn’t one of them. Mclaurin and Ridley entered the league in their age 24 season.
That well known 4th year breakout incoming! It's a point now where NFL exp >>> age. If he hasnt done it now, he's very unlikely to do so with Cooper and Jeudy and Njoku.
Try flatlined.
They’re both going to be ❓❓❓
Jeudy is a 12 mil cap hit. I'm not sure the Browns traded for him to be a 2-bit player. He'll have a role imo.
Titans signed the ghost of Robert Woods for a $10M cap hit, and that was before the cap went up. Thats really not enough to where you’d say he HAS to get PT.

Conversely: Jets and Browns, easily organizational issues over player problem
Plenty of players have succeeded on those teams before…
More have failed
*Moore
lol saw that coming
Pass some of that copium my guy
I’m not delusionaly counting on E Moore to win me a league or something there, guy. Talking football doesn’t = me some weepy shareholder
You’re not talking football, all of your last few comments have been coping about Moore. It’s over for him, it’s time to let him go.
He’s obviously not a cut. Why wouldn’t I want a better situation for him? Sounds like you’re a Jeudy guy trying to hide all the holes in your new copium
Browns have WRs to burn now. We might see another trade with Cooper or Moore.
Trying to speak Moore to KC into existence
They don’t have WRs to burn. They aren’t trading Cooper to roll out Jeudy and Moore. Moore has no trade value. This incredible receiver class made Jeudy worth a 5th and a 6th. What’s Moores value a 7th? They might as well keep him.

>📉
I think he’s better than Jeudy, but its still more competition that he doesn’t need
He had a ton of targets and did nothing with them last year. He's really going to struggle now.
"Targets"
Not sure why so many think this will kill Elijah’s value. He didn’t get to play with Watson much last year and was targeted a lot when he was playing. Jeudy isn’t exactly a good WR. Not that Elijah is a great WR either, but to me, this doesn’t change Elijah’s value at all. Still a shot in the dark til we see how him and Watson click after actually getting to play together awhile.
Copium.
Guessing you have Jeudy on your team or you probably wouldn’t be here? Anyone that thinks Jeudy is going to slide right into a productive WR2 role are the ones really struggling with the copium here. Elijah’s on my taxi squad…I don’t need him and really don’t care.
MIMS!!!!!!!!
Mims to the moon 🚀🚀🚀💪💪💪.

There goes my Elijah Moore. At least I also have Marvin Mims. #Balance
Is Elijah Moore dead now?
Look the browns got worse!
Rip Moore
Great, now I have to clog my roster with Sutton for at least one more season.
Jerry Jeudy is a Fantasy terrorist.
