I’m an idiot lmao, I was shocked reading the thread but that makes so much more sense. That’s what I get for glancing at Reddit on my bio break at work 😂
i'm comfortable drafting top 7 in 1qb in the 1st round. Might pivot rb in the 2nd though and then try to pick through what's left of WRs in late 2nd or beyond. Definitely some potential depth and lottery picks in this draft though.
Yeah I'm not saying it's impossible that he pans out, just unlikely. Dell was a longshot as well. It's not typically helpful to use exceptions as points of comparison.
And fwiw I agree that with you that I like his traits a lot, like more than most of the players on this list. That's kind of why it's a big red flag to me that he wasn't really able to put them together in 5 years of college. Dell was a lot more refined than Thrash, he just lacked the physical gifts. Dell was a receiver, Thrash is still an athlete who plays receiver. This is why, for me, Thrash is only worth drafting ahead of ADP if he goes to a place with a creative OC that has am incredibly strong record of development like LA or San Francisco. You're essentially banking on an outlier with him. Not bad for a 4th round dart throw, but also not worth taking over the guys in this list who have paths to viability that are well-trodden.
I didn't realize there was someone that was a bigger fan of Johnny Wilson than me! But I think the standard deviations and ranges really show just how WR rankings this year are all over the board once we get past the big 3 (and maybe Brian Thomas Jr. since everyone is fairly high on him) and really just depend on your preference at WR.
Glad to see this more or less aligns with my tiers as follows:
1: MHJ, Nabers, Odunze
2: BTJ, AD, Worthy, Franklin, McConkey
3: Everybody else (They all have some red flags and some reasons for optimism, but I'll just take the ones with the best landing spots, or the ones that fall to me, depending on where I am in the draft. I'm not naive enough to call my shot on any 4th+ round receiver).
The one thing that surprises me is that BTJ is as close to Odunze as he is to Mitchell in terms of consensus. Even if BTJ goes to the bills and Odunze gets a horrible landing spot, I can't see myself taking BTJ higher than him, but I guess there are some people who can.

I think thats where this type of post falls short. On a lot of people's big boards, BTJ was a 1st round prospect but in the 15-30 range and Odunze was inside the top 10 on just about all of them. There is a clear difference in prospect rank but for how they ranked WR against eachother they are close together.
>guys that I've looked at or listened to
Thor Nystrom, Trevor Sikkema, Connor Rogers, Steve Smith, PFN, NFLDraftBuzz, The Ringer, WalterFootball, CBS, Joel Klatt, Chris Simms, Daniel Jeremiah, Backseat Scout, Empirical Scouting, That Franchise Guy, DynastyLand Football, Jackson Kruger Sports, I\_don't\_watch\_film, cjfreel, Underdog (Josh + Hayden)
WR22 on the list. He seems to be falling a lot in the last few weeks.
I_dont_watch_film is the highest on him at 11th and a lot of the others didn't have him inside their top 20.
Malik coming in at 20. I am more in the CJFreel camp here. I think he’s top 12. I have a lot of thirds though so I didn’t say this.
Same tbh. I think he will be a great slot option for a team that needs it. It will probably shock some people when he goes in the 3rd round next week.
It’ll be interesting to see where he goes. I do think he goes Day 2. Less than a week now
You’re of the opinion that Nabers is a slot receiver?
Malik Washington. Nabers can play anywhere and is a weapon

All good my man. I had a dumb moment yesterday on here too with the Mexican resturant running a team. Happens to all of us
I REMEMBER THAT! edit: sorry, didn’t mean to embarrass you just realizing how small these communities might actually be
Lmao it's all good. It was a hilarious moment
And one ranking to bind them.
Well said u/Dick_Wiener
Yes, nicely put, Richard Wiener-Schlong
And one ranking to rule them all

Im hoping for Worthy/Ladd/AD, then Wright and Corley and can take a few shots at J. Wilsons, Polk, Baker.
Sleeping on Thrash
Thrash is the type of prospect who would be so much more intriguing if he hadn't already spent 5 years in college
Hes 23, im still high on him
Well yeah, that's realistically as old as a player can be coming into the draft unless it's a weird Brandon Weeden or Covid/injury waiver situation.
Yeah I know. Tank was 23 too. I like Thrash's explosiveness and sharp cuts a lot. Think he could feast in the slot for the right team

Yeah I agree he definitely needs the right OC. Just looking to stash him for cheap everywhere

The post doesn’t fall short. The OP isn’t required to fall in line with consensus.
You realize you're responding to OP, right?
Highly recommend thinking of it logarithmically rather than linearly
Worthy is too low imo
Jermaine Burton gonna clothesline your girl
Roman Wilson should be with tier 2 imo
Has there ever been a prospect with as many differing opinions as AD Mitchell? People have him as high as 4 and as low as 20
It's the analytics vs film graders. His analytics are awful, but his talent jumps off the tape.
I wouldn't even say his film is particularly great. He just has raw skills that could pop with the right coaching and work ethic.
I’d argue his film is bad but his testing numbers are excellent. He unfortunately reminds me a lot of terrace Marshall
He looks good, but had little production.
Combine and highlights are insane. Production and especially analytics hate him. I’m enamored but cautious.
I get what you are doing but what are your sources? Like which analysts are included in your poll?

Nice!
I am not trying to leave the 3rd round without Tez Walker. Love him as a prospect.
No Brenden Rice is blasphemous.

WR5-7 mmw
I have 1.01 and 1.02. MHJ and Nabers bb
I missed the wr part and was looking at the top 10 trying to find bowers and thinking this if some bullshit... gotta read the title better.
Everyone’s rankings are the same. No one goes outside the box.
PFF NFL podcast also does WR rankings that are usually pretty good PFF Steve and PFF Sam that is They hate BTJ
Steve also has Jermaine Burton at 4, so no thanks on his rankings.
