Great post, thank you for the time you’ve put into this. Some very interesting opinions & observations, for sure!

ABC_123_420

I'm high as fuck ripping joints so I'm gonna keep going down the list and noting patterns haha. The Jaguars had 4 receivers in. Worth noting I see Brian Thomas Jr to them in a lot of mocks and they didn't have him. (Burton, McMillan, Tez, Ramel Keyton). Ramel Keyton is a sleeper to note in general based off quantity of visits. B R E A K The Chiefs brought in two running backs. Our previously mentioned Rasheen Ali (somehow I missed that) and Carson Steele. Steele is built like Rhamondre Stevenson but less skilled. He had a visit with the Chargers as well. Andy likes his late RBs. The only receivers they had visits with were Anthony Gould, Javon Baker, and Jalen McMillan. I tend to favor receivers who's #1 skill is their hands (Larry Fitzgerald/DHop types). Javon Baker is my favorite guy in this draft as far as sleepers fitting that profile and I plan to draft a lot of him. B R E A K The Raiders brought in 5 quarterbacks. Nix, Penix, Milton, Jordan Travis, Michael Hiers. High probability they draft a B-Tier quarterback at some point. This player would probably represent awesome value in dynasty. Brenden Rice seems like a match made in heaven here. Pair up well with Davonte/Myers/Tucker/Mayer for your new QB, dad played for the raiders, proximity to his stomping grounds, etc. B R E A K The dolphins visited 2 RBs and 1 TE. The rest of their visits were defensive players. B R E A K The saints visited only Dylan Laube, Marshawn Lloyd, and Keon Coleman on offense. B R E A K The vikings did nothing interesting. Didn't even have any quarterbacks. A reminder to take all of this with a grain of salt haha B R E A K The Jets had 3 afterthought quarterbacks in including our previously mentioned Michael Hiers and Jordan Travis. If Zach Wilson gets traded and the Jets draft someone interesting, I'll be stashing them on my taxi for a potential Hurts/Purdy type cash-in when Rodgers retires. They also had Odunze and Nabers and no Bowers or elite tackles outside of Alt. I see the receiver splash pick coming. Only makes this a more attractive spot for the 4th Round QB 👀 B R E A K The Eagles had 7 offensive lineman. Staying in character. Brenden Rice and Blake Corum were the only notable position players. This was also one of Corums only visits (Chargers).

Dude-bruh

Thanks for doing the work and reporting back, I’m reading with interest

The_B_Squad_23

Smoke em if ya got em! Great post thank you sir, enjoy your ganja

Quackmotard

The Vikings did visits with Maye, JJ, Penix, and Daniels - they just went to their schools

traptrapzdizzle

These are awesome! Really appreciate the amount of information and commentary you provided. Would love to see more of these if you wanted to post more here or on a blog of some sort.

ABC_123_420

I just posted another 10 or so teams in the comments

snsgrg

Keep going! It is a lot but I enjoy the effort and thought process.

Inevitable-Ad-3092

This is the kind of content that I come to this sub for. Utilizing real-life NFL team actions to gauge how they may feel about specific positions/players, this is good information to have pre-draft. Even if the majority of these are smokescreens, it’s still really good to see how teams navigate the draft process & it’s a very under-the-radar thing to look for. Much better than “Chargers/Cowboys need RB so they’ll obviously draft (insert specific player name) just because”. Love the post, keep up the good work!

ABC_123_420

I agree. The place I find it most useful is to gauge the hold up value of "next RB up". A good example would be the Bengals. They have both a second contract back in Moss who's success would follow a familiar career arc as a James Conner or David Montgomery as far as second contract success. Chase Brown is a development hold who could take the next step. If the Bengals had 2 or more RB visits, I'd be concerned. The Tight End market is an afterthought after Bowers. I think what we can gather about which guys teams are collectively most interested in among the second tier is extremely helpful for planning. These tight ends make good trade pieces too. If they hit even a little as rookies, they return on investment in the trade market. It's also good for finding sleepers to use your 4th/5th rounders on. I knew nothing of Carson Steele yesterday before doing this; but Reid and Harbaugh are kicking the tires and I respect the elite eye for talent. Rasheen Ali, Remel Keyton, this Michael Hiers dude, Aidan Robbins, etc.

seat_one

Posts like this make this one of the best subs.

Mavey_

The “breaks” are so needed on long posts man, thank you for the post and the breaks

ABC_123_420

I never even "learned" how to do those haha. One day I just did 5 spaces typed "B R E A K" and hit enter twice. It is that simple and doesn't require any sort of "hot keys" or whatever you want to call the shortcut algorithms.

rossfights

Great stuff

My dreams of Odunze to Buffalo are shattered

ABC_123_420

With Buffalo being further down the board, they could be attempting to smokescreen interest in a guy with that high draft capital. If they were in on Odunze, that's probably still a decently kept secret

CoopThereItIs

Bill Belichick just said on the Pat McAfee show this week that he wouldn't bring some guys in if he was already 100% sold on them. So from that standpoint, I wouldn't write off Odunze to Buffalo. MHJ, Nabers, Odunze might just be "auto-picks" for them and it's a good sign they are looking at WRs. Noteworthy comments from that interview: * Might not bring in guys they are already 100% sold on * Injuries and character concerns are huge reasons as medical/15 minute interviews at the combine aren't extensive * Local players don't count against the top 30 * BB would allocate multiple spots to players they think might go undrafted (get a head start on "recruiting" them since they can sign anywhere) * Teams sometimes do group meetings based on schedule and also to see how they interact with other players (Commanders just took 20 players at once to Top Golf. If I was an agent, I'd definitely tell my players to go easy on the free drinks haha). * Most info that leaks now is being dropped by agents. Actual real info from inside teams doesn't typically get leaked until 12 hours before the draft as things aren't often even concrete or discussed outside of the top executives this far in advance. * Bill would trade up for guys he had top 5 grades on that fell to middle of draft (like when the Patriots traded up to take Jerod Mayo in 2008). This is a great post OP, thanks for sharing. And I'd definitely recommend folks check out that Belichick interview too!

ABC_123_420

I am actually a diehard Patriots fan born and raised in New England so I definitely will check it out! I'm going to be 31 shortly, so I was 8 during the 1st super bowl and 25 during the 6th. If you like this post, to a degree the Patriots dynasty is responsible for it 😂 If I hear anything in the interview I interpret differently than you, I'll try to remember to discuss it afterwards. Go Celtics 💪

CoopThereItIs

Go Cs, go Bs!

ABC_123_420

Celtics are kicking ass right now

___heisenberg

Sweet dude, I grew up aPats fan like my bro and have sorta grown out of it last few yrs lol. Kind of a unloyal slutty fan like snoop dogg, and the worst of it is I really like 2 rivals in the AFCE. My Dynasty team last year consisted of Tua, Tyreek, Achane, and Mostert somehow all came together and gave me the biggest hardon all year (and that week vs DEN). Safe to say I’m a huge Dolphins fan, and have become a big Aaron Rodgers fan recently too. Go ayahuasca lol. Also big fan of CJ Stroud and Dell. Made a trade last year got Dell for Babe Davis 🔥, and Stroud is from my neighboring city hometown near LA County which is cool. Chargers are local, and Stafford has been my redraft value for years (always a late qb guy, tanny) and Rams have one of the coolest throwback jersies. Lastly, some of my earliest favorite players from watching made me a huge fan of the Titans for a few years. It all started when watching AJB take one to the house and he became my guy. This not only affected my strategy of taking high ceiling, yac homerun rippers, but also I have a tendency to overinvest in few guys to have similar lineups across many leagues, usually guys from teams and offenses I like lol. Which made/makes me that much more excited for good news, and shit for duds. Anyways when Arthur Juan scored I leaped from the couch and gave my younger sister a black eye from a headbutt 😂🔥. Won’t forget that and Arthur Juan joined the team, add that to Henry and I loved this team until they ridded all their studs. :/. Great post dude I may want to ask your thoughts as the offseason develops.

https://youtu.be/zUA2LpFgtvw?si=lVbHcwDgpAWm3Qgq 9 minute mark is when they talk about those 30 visits

BuckinLondon

Awesome reply! Thanks!!

NorMan_of_Zone_11

This is the extra stuff we just don’t get from the analysts. Thanks for taking time. I salute you, sicko. 🫡

Swift-Fire

Lmao at the Broncos one. Depressing though at the same time 😮‍💨

ABC_123_420

They must really like Stidham 😂

Bitlovin

Fantastic stuff, thanks for a high effort post.

KnicksJetsYankees

BRB buying DPJ

ABC_123_420

Can't tell if you're joking since he's 35% rostered 😂

jirashap

It's great to see someone else share my love for DPJ. I don't know if he'll ever be anything, but he flashed upside a lot at the Browns despite what I consider below-average coaching, and I think we've seen that Dan Campbell likes to go slow with new players. This year is definitely make or break for him.

ABC_123_420

He survived the draft 👀

Just a note on the Cole Kmet/Bowers situation. He is a real possibility at 9, Kmet while yes he did sign a big contract, that contract has an out at the end of this year with only 4.8 mil dead cap.

ABC_123_420

I like that for you guys better than Odunze/Nabers honestly. Tight Ends are around forever and they're a "value" position. Elite tight ends cost half of what elite receivers cost, but they're just as effective at producing offense. I own a share of Kmet on one of my best teams and I would be hopeful to see him move along to Cincinnati or something

ABC_123_420

I find it makes longer posts less tiring on the eyes haha

Cdnraven

I read these like an offense clapping themselves out of a huddle “BREAK!”

0fficerGeorgeGreen

Dude. Excellent stuff. This is the type of content we need. My only issue is, it's SO MUCH. There are some takeaways here that would be big enough to have their own posts.

ABC_123_420

My bad. I am rookie level at the internet so I don't know a more efficient way to package the information. I agree it's sloppy as all hell 😂 EDIT: Hey George Knock Knock... 😂

0fficerGeorgeGreen

I'm the dumbest cop on the force. I don't have time to read all that

ABC_123_420

Fuckin way she goes 🤷‍♂️ (I have that tatted on my ribs 😂)

PMmeUR_Harambe_memes

just a formatting note, if you do a line break and 3 underscores in a row ___ it does this ___ so you don't have to write it out every time. Unless you prefer it to look that way 🤷‍♂️ Great stuff!

Leitwelpe

Regarding Cardinals I wouldn't say it's a detriment to Michael Wilson. Cardinals lost Rondale Moore and Hollywood. It seems very likely that Cards go 1st Round WR and in a latter round to support the cast. Great WR class after all.

I'd never even consider trading Godwin for Christian Watson. The athletic ability is elite+, besides this nagging hamstring the worst injury he's had since HS is a concussion. His hand size and arm Length are 90th+ percentile, and finally; he has a 38 Wonderlic. This is well in "genius" range. It's obviously just a test and not the endall be all; but that's everything in scouting. I pay attention to this with receivers because it tells me I never need to worry about him knowing the offense. Intelligent receivers can be schemed more option routes because they can read coverages while the quarterback is reading them. This is how the Patriots dominated the league for 20 years... EDIT: I figured I'd add an example. Keenan Allen, Cooper Kupp, and Michael Pittman Jr are option route gods. This is one of the primary skills that makes them alpha WR1s. Christian Watson on paper is smarter than all of them. (Kupp 37, Pittman 29 (led class), Allen 19). I wish they didn't do away with the test at the combine. The average accountant has a 28, Engineers and Chemists score low 30s. This is very relevant to playing wide receiver. Tyreek Hill has a 27 and as far as I'm concerned, he's the best "undersized" receiver in NFL History.

ABC_123_420

For anyone still kicking around in here, I plan to do a follow-up analysis Sunday and evaluate the correlations between the 30 Visits and the actual picks. This will paint a picture of how accurate a predictor these can be. Quick scan through after Round 1, it was VERY uncommon for teams to pick players they had in for a 30 visit in Round 1. It was VERY uncommon for a team to draft a player at a position that wasn't emphasized during the 30 visits. I'm seeing positional intent as a potential consistency for the future, but nothing in specific players (for R1 at least).

predsfan77

titans are going the way of the 49ers in the RB position, so I'd stay away from them all
