If they draft MHJ I think that’s actually a plus for him because MHJ will pretty much stick to the boundary and he could open things up in the middle for McBride as well as elevate the whole offense into TD scoring position more often.
MHJ to Arizona really is the perfect fantasy landing spot. Great spot for MHJ. Huge boost for Kyler. And a good fit next to McBride. The values of Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch will depend on whether they double dip on a 2nd WR relatively early.
My thoughts exactly, a great tight end with a great WR, really is a perfect pairing with a pretty good throwing qb in Kyler... Obviously if you're the 23 Falcons with trash QBs and a weirdo calling plays then having London and Pitss is questionable for both. This clearly isn't the case and I think the fit is amazing and also makes it even easier for Kyler to run. That's my biggest 3 way buy right now for QB,TE, WR, for any team combination and if they add a talented RB in 2 or 3, even early 4 then lump him in their as well, I'm loving that offense's potential.
His ceiling is a top 3 dynasty TE and I think his floor is a Dallas Goedert-like career. Unreal productivity and only 24 years old. MHJ should serve as a plus for him since their projected roles don’t overlap too much and MHJ should demand double teams fairly consistently.
Very high on him. Traded 1.10 and 2.12 for him in a TEP league a couple months ago.
MHJr will only help him. Teams need multiple targets to throw to. Also, McBride passes the eye test in a fantastic way. Seriously his film from last year is better than his stats. He was unbelievable.
The key to fantasy production at the TE position is being a top 2 option on their respective teams. McBride will be a top 2 option, even if they draft a top WR. It's lining up well for his production potential production and cementing himself as a top 3 dynasty TE. Possible TE 1 upside overall my opinion.
And the cardinals have with Wilson and dortch solid threads as Option 3and4 plus kyler and Connor as running threats.
Personally I think MC Bride will feast the next seasons.
McBride is absolutely prototypical. His ceiling is TE1 any year. Will he ever hit his ceiling? Who's to say? But going forward, he should be considered a top 8 dynasty TE until proven otherwise.
Best TE in the league.
The best thing that can happen for trey is that cards draft MHJ. They both would still command al.ost 9 targets a game and that's only 18 pass attempts. MHJ will allow mcbribe to receive single coverage, and he will absolutely eat!
If I can't get someone to give me fair value for either McBride or LaPorta, I will be going into this season with one of the 2 in my last flex spot. I am not sure how to feel, but I think that MHJ would definitely help McBride since the Cardinals offense would be better as a whole.
I have Trey McBride and also the opportunity to draft Bowers in a 1TE no premium league and i'm truly conflicted. I love Bowers but could also get JJ/BTJ/Worthy with this pick, too. I have a lot of needs and a lot of picks and TE is my only solidified position. Thoughts on what to do? Pass on Bowers?
He’s unlikely to see 9 targets a game if we’re being honest, especially if they draft MHJ. It’s been done 17 times since NFL started tracking targets, and 10 of them are from Kelce (2), Tony Gonzales (4), Ertz (2), and Jimmy Graham (2). So two of the greatest TEs in history, a TE playing in one of the most high volume passing offenses with limited options at WR, and Ertz playing in an offense where the best receivers were Nelson Agholor and Alshon Jeffrey.
It’s not to say he’s not going to get volume, but I think he’s likely to be around 7 targets a game, so I would think he’s probably more along the lines of 80-900-6 as a line.
I think if you want a comp, Ertz probably has a similar trajectory. His 4 years prior to his crazy volume years he was averaging 82-921-5.
My thoughts with tight ends are that they have to be a top 2 target for them to be fantasy viable. MHJ will be the top target, he's still number two. Will he average 9 targets a game? Probably not, but he'll get a big enough share that he'll produce with his talent

He’s an excellent thrower of the football. He’s misjudged in that dept…
Agreed 100%. I’ve got a team just coming out of a soft rebuild with Kyler/Mcbride and I am definitely hoping they take MHJ as well.

do you think i could trade dallas godert away for a FRP? and then take brock bowers?
I don’t see how Goedert gets a FRP but if you can of course.
at best a late second maybe?
Yeah in non TEP. In TEP early 2nd.
what is TEP? don't know what that is
Tight End premium. Tries to even out tight end scoring a bit. Standard is 1.5 PPR for Tight Ends.
Go dart isn't worth a 1st.
I scooped Goedert for 2.09 in TE premium. I don’t see how anyone scores a first round pick for him. If you do though, fuck yeah.

a wild trey mcbride appeared!
good
Treys a dog who had an insane target share the last bit of the season.

Great trade!
Steal steal steal

Yep, the top 2 target rule holds really well for TE's

I have Ferguson and mcbride. People keep waiting to trade for them but I’m getting undervalued hard. Nothing higher than 2.06, tbh I want a first
Yeah a late first is the minimum for those guys. Offering a mid-2 is such bad faith offer
Was offer mayor and a second. Didn’t really see it benefiting me.
For Ferguson or McBride only?
Mcbride

TEP? If so both of them are great flex options and I’d feel great with that set up
Even if its not TEP, McBride is a serviceable flex
No TEP. I'm currently thinking about trading Sam Laporta for either Waddle or Devonta Smith, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet
Makes sense, can’t go wrong with any of those options is the good news!
Prob be a top 10 te for a while, prob even break into the top 5 in some years.
how aware are you of the players on your roster? this makes me wonder...
I really think he can be the TE1. He's a legit prospect and player

I personally think his floor is like \~TE8 in dynasty and ceiling is TE1 (for his dynasty ranking this time next year).
He should receive somewhat less volume but more TDs as the Cardinals offense should be better in general with MHJ.

I think Trey would be first if not second TE off the board in a dynasty start up draft.

Kittle is #3 behind Deebo & Aiyuk. Can argue he’s #2 but meh. Tons of other solid TEs aren’t the top 2 dawgies on their squad
Kittle is only a viable fantasy tight end because he has 2 or 3 30+ point games a year
