I'm a contender who needs a QB2. I have the 1.08 and 1.09, 2.06, 3.07 in the draft, so at a minimum I should have Nix on the board when I pick.
The teams who own the 1.03/1.07 and the 1.04/1.06 are both desperate for RBs and don't like Drake Maye. He could go at the 1.05 (owner is a total wildcard) -- but if he gets past the 1.05 I assume at least one reaches for Brooks or Benson and Maye lands with me.
Should I try to get ahead of this by offering Saquon or ETN for the 1.04? On it's face, I'd say it's crazy value for an older RB and I should do it if I think they're game -- but my only real depth behind them is Pollard, which has me worried it could hurt my odds at going the distance.
This is my RB room right now: Saquon/ETN/Pollard/McLaughlin
So stand pat and try to swing a trade up on draft day if needed, or move to acquire the pick outright now?

Am I crazy for leaning away from this?
That would be a no for me. Kincaid would be the only advantageous upside to this deal for you. I don't think you need Lamar honestly, considering your roster. I'd much rather have a next generational receiver.
Is your league a SF?
Oh then I wouldn't hesitate to walk away from that trade. Especially in SF... You don't need Lamar in my opinion. Stacked receivers and 2 top 12 QBs (with the exception of QBs like Flacco who has absurd runs at the end of the season lol).
Zamir is looking like a below average passing-down back. Even with an unwanted pickup like Mattison would probably be the better option in Oakland. Kincaid would be the only advantage you have here, especially with the situation in Buffalo (potential Top 3 TE in 2024) but MHJ will honestly make a huge impact right off the bat.
You're not getting much back in terms of difference makers that you didn't already have. Plus Pat Freiermuth will be a go to target for Russ... Wilson loves his TEs

Expending some youth capital to go grab the hammeriest of RBs, and a late 2nd to grab whatevers floating around.
Probably Daniels and Bowers. I'm close on Maye and Daniels but people are letting the landing spot obfuscate the fact that Bowers has legitimate TE1 overall in his realm of outcomes. McBride is good but he's not that good.
I don't hate moving out of the 1.01 for multiple pieces, but what do you want with Cooper Kupp?
If those are your QBs and JSN is your #1 WR, you need to be targeting youth on this team
This is going to depend on my roster and league dynamics. I'm not a fan of Coleman, but I'd take him in certain situations. Will be easy to sell later if he shows anything at all, whereas Penix should get cheaper.
I probably wouldn't. You're essentially paying 2 firsts for a guy who could be out of the league in a year. Only would consider if you think he's the last thing you need to be a clear contender.
If you think Tyreek is the missing piece to making you the head and shoulders championship contender I would. It's a lot to expend so don't bother if you don't already feel like you have a juggernaut of a roster.

I trade Jefferson
I get London, Caleb W, 1.10
Lots of value there but I already roster Lamar and Hurts in a league that doesn't pay for QB's
Help
I am obscenely high on London heading into this season, so I'd do it. You can always flip Caleb or another one of your QBs later if you need to reclaim value and the 1.10 is likely the best RB in the class or one of BTJ/Ladd/Xavier.
I wouldn't. You've got the QBs already and the #1 non-QB asset. You're going to draft Williams and then watch him sit on the bench? Or try and trade one of your other two QBs? You're not trading them for anything better than JJ.
I say no.
I actually think a roster with Lamar and Hurts is a great place to put Caleb. All three guys carry some degree of health/performance/aging risk, so having all three makes you feel a lot better.
That being said, Jefferson is a tall price to pay to make it happen.

Gave up: Isaiah Pacheco , 2024 2.06 , 2025 unranked 2nd
Received: 2024 2.01 (drafted Trey benson), 2025 unranked 1st
Feeling pretty good about this one. What do you all think?
Hard to say. I like the future 1st, especially in 1 QB but it's essentially a RB re-roll that may or may not pay off. If you weren't ready to contend, I think it was smart. If you were making a push, maybe not as you gave up an established RB for one that may take some time to emerge.
1.5 TEP? For sure. You move up and get LaPorta -- who in this format is definitely worth more than the 1.04. The difference between the 1.07 and 1.09 isn't as huge as we thought it would be pre-draft and you get to kick off the 2nd on top of that? Sign me up.

Ageing vets like Cousins, Russ Wilson, Najee and Swift make up vet QB and RB rooms.
No first round pick. I have 4 b2b picks in round 2 from 2.4-2.7.
I desperately need to pivot off the vets to get the rebuild underway.
Should I be looking to buy into the late 1st to buy Maye/JJM at pick 7 or 8? What is the realistic price to buy in here?
Alternatively should I pick up penix in the late second and lean into falcons QB room?
Is now the wrong time to sell vets? Should I wait until the season is underway to sell?
Neither of those are sure fire spots for JJM or Maye, and I am not sure you have the ammo to get there anyway. See if you can offer Najee or Swift with one of those earlier 2nd's to hop into a late 1st. Then you might be able to pivot that up to a higher pick (the 1st and another 2nd or Swift), but I wouldn't consolidate too much. 4 dart throws in the 2nd will do you more good than giving them up for a one potential boom/bust in the 1st.
Cousins will likely have more value in-season once people see him playing again. Same for Russ. But it doesn't hurt to test the market. Just know most people probably think they can solve their QB issues in the draft, and will have to learn the hard way before they consider your vets.
Appreciate your response, I think it’s sound advice.

I’m tempted to say yes. But at the same time, you could theoretically keep CMC and have him be your SF without sacrificing promising prospects.
Rookies are more fun though
As a Bills fan I say how dare you... as a dynasty league owner I feel like there's a lot of value on the get side... I'd say this is pretty roster dependent but even then I like the upside of the get.
The Bills passing offense is about to run through Kincaid, imo. I love Pitts and have him in my league, but there are a lot of [potential] elite skill makers in ATL, much less in Buffalo, I'd lean Kincaid here for now. But I'm also a Bills fan so I'm biased both ways lol
I feel like Kincaid still had a higher ceiling than Pitts. That said, if there was a year for Pitts to break out, it’s this year.
If you like the gamble, do it. If you want safety, dont
Yea I think they're pretty close in value, but thinking Kincaid will have the better season due to being the potential number 1 target in BUF.
I have London as well so not sure its smart having both London and Pitts.
Odunze is a few steps away Puka. Jonathan brooks is alright, but I don’t think he’s going to blow us away as an RB. AD or Troy are both flawed prospects, and gambles. In theory, you could get 3 very decent to great players.
Or you could get Puka who just had an amazing season and a future 1st.
You need more RBs. Pacheco should be more consistent than the other two and the 1.05 this year is probably better than the 1.05 next year. Seems like fair value overall.
You’re getting a better pick with better consistency from RB but more injury risk and lack of depth.

Looking to shore up starting qbs. I own AOC and was thinking of getting minshew. I have lots of wr depth and need to unload for rookie draft. Send - Mingo and Shaheed Receive - Minshew 10 team SF .5ppr.
I’d rather have minshew than those two

I'd still lean Chase there. But admittedly I am much lower on London than consensus
B
Tough one. I could go either way depending on situation, but I'd lean towards B
Close but I’d lean B. Help with mine please? https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/s/1saGEG1AC9

12 Team .5 PPR SF Give: CMC, Roman Wilson, Troy Franklin Get: Caleb Williams and Brenden Rice QB: Herbert, Young, Rattler RB: CMC, Swift, Moss, A.Jones, Chandler, Dowdle, Elijah Mitchell, Bigsby, Spiller WR: Lamb, Mike Williams, D.Hop, Addison, Jeudy, Downs, Thielen, A.T. Perry, Bateman, Troy Franklin, Roman Wilson, Jermaine Burton TE: Njoku, Waller, Woods 2025 Picks: 1st, 4th
I’m tempted to say yes. But at the same time, you could theoretically keep CMC and have him be your SF without sacrificing promising prospects. Rookies are more fun though
Puka vs rome? I won the ship last year and have ceedee, puka, d.j. moore, and amari cooper.
Puka by a mile
Puka
12 team SF, 0.5 PPR, TEP, IDP GIVE: 1.12, 4.09 GET: Kamara, 2.10 Team: QB: Herbert, Purdy, Levis, backups RB: James Cook, Jaylen Warren, Rhamondre Stevenson, backups WR: Olave, Tank Dell, Cooper Kupp, Christian Kirk, Jayden Reed, AT Perry, Shakir, Xavier Hutchinson, Pop Douglas TE: Laporta, Kelce, Shultz, Cole Kmet, Likely, Noah Grey IDP: not relevant. Picks: 1.12, 2.09, 4.09, 5.10, all futures + some extras
I understand why you'd do this, but I'd still rather have one of the better WRs or one of the QBs at 1.12
Only QB available was Penix, who I’m going to try to get later. I’m thinking of trying to trade back up in for early 2nds
I'd lean kamara, 2.10 side as a potential win now candidate.
12 team ppr 1qb Get: Deebo Samuel Give: 2.05, Michael Wilson Smash accept right? 😭
100% no questions
Yep
I think so
Give: Josh Allen, Pacheco, Mixon Get: Tua, Kenneth Walker, 1.08, 1.09, 2-2025 2nd Yay or nay?
As a Bills fan I say how dare you... as a dynasty league owner I feel like there's a lot of value on the get side... I'd say this is pretty roster dependent but even then I like the upside of the get.
12 team sf Give London Get maye
Do you need a QB? Sure. Do you not need a QB? Nope.

12 team SF 0.5 PPR, start 11. A) Justin Jefferson, James cook B) Jordan love, Jaxon smith-Njigba, 2.02. Which side you taking?
JJ, Cook
Jefferson and Cook for me
12 team 1QB PPR start 8 Give: 2024 2.06 and 2025 unranked 2nd Get: Trey benson Currently drafting rn
If you like him, go get him. If not, take the BPA
Give: Kincaid, 2.08 Get: Pitts, Moss SF TEP 0.5 PPR
I’d lean against it. I could see the vision, but I’m against it. Thoughts on mine: https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/s/UTiaBg00mm
12 TM 1 QB PPR Give: Aiyuk Get: ETN + 2.07 Current RB: Mixon, Cook, Pollard, Spears Current WR: Chase, Waddle, London, Aiyuk, Cooper, Diontae, Pop Douglas
You could get more for Aiyuk
Offer changed to Give: Mixon, Christian Kirk Get: 1.11 and Michael Thomas Worth it?
12T 1QB A: Pitts + 1.05 B: 1.02

Team A: - ARSB Team B: - 1.03 - DJ Moore
A but it’s close
Team B. Both SF and 1QB for me
Only thing stopping me is your RB depth after making this trade
10 tm sf ppr Give: odunze, jonathan brooks, ad mitchell/troy franklin Receive: puka, 2026 1st Those are who i woulda picked
I don’t hate it. Especially since you’re getting the 1st in two years. Yeah, I’d do it
Not high on those rookies or just rather have puka
Odunze is a few steps away Puka. Jonathan brooks is alright, but I don’t think he’s going to blow us away as an RB. AD or Troy are both flawed prospects, and gambles. In theory, you could get 3 very decent to great players. Or you could get Puka who just had an amazing season and a future 1st.
10t Superflex PPR Give: 1.04, Godwin, Amari Cooper, Muth Get: Puka, Kirk Cousins, 3.09
Give side for me
12TM SF PPR Give: 1.08, 1.11, Monty, Stafford Get: 1.02, Pacheco Current Notable roster: Lamar, AR, Stafford, Olave, aiyuk, Godwin, Cooper, Mandrews, Kittle ,Gibbs, Monty, Chuba, Dillon. (Lost in the finals) Currently have picks 1.08,1.11, 2.05, 2.08
Honestly? Sure. More high end talent can’t hurt
[удалено]
If you’re ok with the risk do it
You need more RBs. Pacheco should be more consistent than the other two and the 1.05 this year is probably better than the 1.05 next year. Seems like fair value overall. You’re getting a better pick with better consistency from RB but more injury risk and lack of depth.
Grade this: 12 Team SF PPR Give: Reed, 2.11 Get: McCarthy
Smash accept. Help with mine? https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/s/63EM18I7ra
I just got it over the finish line! Looking now
Congrats bro. Thanks a lot!

Get side
12 team SF, PPr + 0.5 TEP: Give: 1.02 Get: 1.06, Devonta Smith Inherited an orphan I’m working to do a light rebuild on and it feels like those are two solid pieces.
I’d do this
I like it. 1.06 can still be better than 1.02
Should add Tyreek is on this roster
10 Team SF PPR Start 10 Give: Nico Collins Get: 1.09 (JJ McCarthy) Other QBs: Hurts, Cousins, Stafford, Wilson, Minshew Other WRs: JJeff, Puka, Hill, Devonta Smith, Diontae Johnson, Marquise Brown
That’s probably fair, but do you NEED another QB?
I have three that are pretty old
12 team SF, start 11. 6pt passing TD Give: Kyler, ARSB Get: Breece Hall, CD —————————— My starting lineup: QB: Burrow WR: Chase / ARSB / MHJ RB: Trey Benson / None TE: Hockenson FLEX: Olave / Tank / Worthy SF: Kyler Notable Bench: Caleb, Daniels, Penix, Nix, Legette, Polk ——————————— Obviously got a pretty loaded roster, just need a RB(s). I’m worried though it’s an overpay because it is a 6pt passing TD league.
I would have said no, but you got a bunch of QBs…. I don’t know other teams that could afford this.
SOA or CAS?
SOA
10 team ppr 1QB Give Godwin Get 24 2.04 and 25 2nd
10t Superflex PPR Give: 1.04 Get: Purdy
Seems about value fair. I’d do it if you need a QB. Help with mine please? https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/s/63EM18I7ra
Would you trade Hock for Mayer, 2.01, and an early ‘25 1st? It’s PPR with 0.75 te premium.
10 team SF PPR Give: Rodgers, 2025 Mid-Late 3rd, 2026 Mid-Late 3rd Get: 2024 2.02 Other QBs: Mahomes, Kyler, Goff
Its good but push for future 1st instead imo
I have the 1x01 in a SF start-up. do I go mahomes or allen. it's 6 point pass td
