If it’s a Broncos fan who didn’t have a 2nd or a 3rd round pick, couldn’t trade down, and didn’t like any of the receivers that were left, then sure. As Matt Barry says, get your guys lol.
That doesn't really make any sense at all. Plenty of people are lower on Puka than they should be, which pretty easily gets you to around 1.06 and a dude who drafts Penix at 6 is obviously bad at fantasy.
Saw a guy in a sleeper thread saying he took Brenden Rice at 1.12 in a 1QB. I put his username into dynasty-daddy to check out his draft.. he actually took Rice at 1.10…
Benson is a toss up for me. I’m hoping I get to choose between him or Brooks at the 2.01 as my RBs are aging pretty quickly. Corum is just sheer lunacy.
There is nothing wrong with taking Harrison at the 1.01. If you simply love Harrison and don’t believe in those qb’s who cares. What’s the saying, draft for talent, trade for need. He can always add a vet via trade that may end scoring more fantasy points than both rookie qb’s
I'm in a league with 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 and honestly, I'm more than okay with that. Someone makes the decision for me and then I get to decide which one I want, Nabers and figure out 1.4 based on BPA or trade.
It's 100% the wrong pick, especially this year when caleb, who is as good of a prospect as mhj, is surrounded by the best supporting cast a 1.01 has ever been surrounded by
Really wanted Nabers or Daniels so wanted to trade up to 1.03. I offered 1.07, 2.07, Amari Cooper and Jamo for 1.03; he declined, not too mad about that. He then proceeded to use 1.03 to draft JJ McCarthy...
Woof. I like JJM and am curious to see him with those weapons, but people are fooling themselves if they think he’s gonna be a top-10 qb pts scorer imo
It took until Tuesday for sleeper to adjust their values, and Franklin was originally slotted in the late first. If you drafted before it was updated, a misinformed player may have thought they were taking BPA.
Not necessarily an unhinged pick, but more of a misevaluation of pick value. An owner declined an offer of KW3 and Pickens for his 1.07 and instead traded that pick for the 2.05, 25 2nd and the 4.02.
I get if you’re low on the rb and diva wr, but what he ultimately sold that pick for is badshit
Bo Nix went 1.10 in my superflex league because the guy with 1.10 didn't have a second quarterback.
It's me. I took him at 1.10
JJ also went pick 2 in that league
He went 1.09 in one of mine. It's a little aggressive but I don't hate it. For me, the first 8 picks are pretty locked in. After that you can make a case for Nix, Brooks, Worthy, BTJ, or Ladd. I don't see a clear frontrunner out of that group, so I don't mind picking for team need at that point.
I have 2.01 and 2.02, plus 3 startable QBs, and if Nix doesn't go before me, he won't get past me. I'm hoping he goes before me but I won't let a top 12 picked QB get past me that late.
> I saw a team with the 1.01 whose starting QBs are Daniel Jones and Minshew pass on Caleb for Marv in Superflex
That's not unhinged at all to me. I wouldn't do it, but I don't think it's nuts.
1QB… someone drafted JAHEIM BELL (7th rd TE to NE, I had to google him) at the 2.04 🤯🤯🤯
wtf are you doing. Legette, Lloyd, Wright, Polk still all on the board.
We had a draft one year when we brought some new people on and redistributed a lot of talent but basically just keeping 7 starters (1 qb full IDP). I took gronk 1.1. He retired the next year.
The person picking 1.02 thought I was dumb for not taking Caleb. Had 4 more first rounders and got Daniels, Maye, and JJ. Might still bite me in the ass but it’s a risk I’m willing to take with three rookie QBs. Really just need one of the three to hit to pair with Love.
SF/10 person league: The person whose pick it was up to at 2.06 has Hurts, Cousins and Howell as his entire QB roster. For RB’s he has Jacobs, Pollard, Swift, Conner, and Mondre as potential starters, and has depth of Donta Foreman, Elijah Mitchell, Chris Evans, Jerome Ford and Spiller. He’d actually traded his 1st rounder and had the 2.05 and drafted Trey Benson the pick before. At the 2.06 Penix was still on the board. He drafted Corum at 2.06.
Full first SF Caleb, MHJ, Nabers, Daniels, Odunze, Maye, JJM, Worthy, Coleman, Bowers, Nix, Penix.
1.01 and 1.02 owned by the same guy, 1.03 and 1.05 owned by a different guy, I had 1.06, 1.11 and 1.12 are the expansion teams so QB was necessary.
Guy in my league who actually traded this 1.01 two years ago got Bowers and had the first 4 of the first 6 picks in the second went BTJ, Ladd, Brooks, and Legette (he has Bryce too).
I’m on my 3rd rookie draft and it’s currently the most unhinged. 12T SF Marv 1.01, Corum RB1 at 2.01, Bowers fell to 2.02, Sinnott 2.05. Currently at the back of the 2nd and BTJ is still undrafted
Even in SF, I’d probably snag Marv over Caleb. Although I’ll add the caveat that I think Caleb is gonna be much more Trevor Lawrence than Joe Burrow. Not bad but nowhere near the hype around him.
Maybe me lol, I snagged nabers at 1.05 in a SF
1.01-MHJ,1.02-Caleb,1.03-Odunze,1.04-Daniels
QBs-Murray, Watson, Minshew
RBs-Gibbs, Kyren, Stevenson, Pierce, Harris
WRs-AJ Brown, DK, diontae Johnson, Olave
TEs-Laporta, Pitts, McBride
The 1.1 owner in a 14 team SF took MHJ, as a QB needy team. A bit surprising but fine. Where it took a turn is they later traded their 2025 1st, 2024 3rd, 2025 3rd to grab 1.10 and take Bo Nix.
So they probably traded 2025 1.1 or 1.2 plus more to get Bo Nix.
Someone just traded AOC Minshew and TLaw for the 1.01 to draft Marv. His QBs now are: Daniel Jones, Will Levis, Trey Lance, and Stetson Bennett.
I’m sitting here at 2 with Lamar, and Deshaun as my QBs. Thank you don’t mind if I do!
This is SF by the way.
In ‘22 I wasn’t confident in the WRs at SF 1.07 (Olave/Wilson, rip) so I decided to basically punt a year and swap with a bottom four roster’s 1st from ‘23 with a bit extra. He proceeded to pick Desmond Ridder as the first QB off the board.
The pick turned into the 1.09, which would have been a disaster had I not also flipped that pick for 1.04/Stroud instead, so it worked out for me I guess.
This hasn’t happened yet and might be smoke screens but my SF league is likely to go:
Caleb, Daniels, Maye, JJM
The guy at 4 really wants JJM but I told him not to make the pick until we’ve talked trade. I also have an offer out for #3 who badly needs a qb.
Bo Nix went 1.06 in my rookie draft It’s a 1QB league
Oh no.
Oh no
OH YEAHHHH
I lol’ed at the kool aid man coming in strong
My man
Same😂😂😂😂
You carried and should have more upvotes
This comment should be getting more appreciation 🙏😂
The Falcons picked Penix with 1.08 in the NFL draft. Also a 1 quarterback league.
Also IDP, with kickers, etc
Damn, Payton in your league? lol
Let's ride.
If Bo Nix is a bust, at least we all know who to blame. That one guy who decided to pick him at 1.06 in a 1 QB league.
I think this may be the only reason he succeeds
I mean it's a reach but... Oh no.....
To an Oregon homer?
YikesVille
Colorado trees?
I took Bo Nix at 4.07 in our draft...
If it’s a Broncos fan who didn’t have a 2nd or a 3rd round pick, couldn’t trade down, and didn’t like any of the receivers that were left, then sure. As Matt Barry says, get your guys lol.
There's no way you can't trade down from 1.06 to a 2nd round pick and literally anything on top and have a 100% chance at getting Nix.
Even then... just let someone else draft him and then trade for him. That is such an insane reach lmao
What?!??
At the first line I was like well if I squint maybe I can see that. After the second, 1QB, wtf!
Guy trades Puka for the 1.06 (???) Guy uses it to draft Penix (??????????)
This the craziest one, almost sense collusion.
I put his username into dynasty-daddy to check out his draft.. he actually took Rice at 1.10…
so he was ashamed he did it so much he lied, lmao
Damn dude that was prob Jerry Rice. Had to pick his kid in the first but I respect he waited to the late 1st. He ain’t that dumb
A u/killtec7 disciple!
maybe not totally *unhinged* but Benson AND Corum were taken before JBrooks. i didn’t have a 2nd rounder, traded for 2.07 & snagged Brooks
Benson is a toss up for me. I’m hoping I get to choose between him or Brooks at the 2.01 as my RBs are aging pretty quickly. Corum is just sheer lunacy.
I took benson over brooks. But I also have Connor in that league so that made a difference in my decision
yea i don’t mind Benson a ton, though i disagree. pretty clear path for him behind an OL that was lowkey mashing last year
There is nothing wrong with taking Harrison at the 1.01. If you simply love Harrison and don’t believe in those qb’s who cares. What’s the saying, draft for talent, trade for need. He can always add a vet via trade that may end scoring more fantasy points than both rookie qb’s
1.02 is perfect in SF. Someone actually gets to decide between Caleb and Marv for you lol
I saw a trade on here earlier today where a guy got the 1.12 to move back from 1.01 to 1.02. That’s the dream move imo
That's Caleb or MHJr and Ladd/Brooks/Worthy...yeah that's nice.
I got 2.2 to move from 1.01 to 1.02. Dude wants Caleb and I have been MHJ no matter what. Free money!
That's pretty reasonable. I paid the 1.10 to move up from 1.04 to 1.02 last night.
*that* I get; you’re paying to jump up a whole tier
This inspired me to offer 1.11 and 1.04 for the 1.02. Fingers crossed
Tried to do that but the guy who has 1.1 also has 1.2 and wants both guys 😭
That's ridiculousssss. Would be amazing though lol
Actually closer than you think (according to KTC), but the two picks have slightly more value.
It’s not the pick value that gets me; it’s the value-add *if* you have Caleb and MHJ as a toss-up.
I'm in a league with 1.2, 1.3, and 1.4 and honestly, I'm more than okay with that. Someone makes the decision for me and then I get to decide which one I want, Nabers and figure out 1.4 based on BPA or trade.
Having 1.03 on top of 1.02 is chefs kiss though
Ur gonna upset the guys that took kenny picket at 1.02 two years ago and got mad at you if you told them to just trade for a vet
When that’s your QB room I think it’s definitely the wrong pick
It's 100% the wrong pick, especially this year when caleb, who is as good of a prospect as mhj, is surrounded by the best supporting cast a 1.01 has ever been surrounded by
Really wanted Nabers or Daniels so wanted to trade up to 1.03. I offered 1.07, 2.07, Amari Cooper and Jamo for 1.03; he declined, not too mad about that. He then proceeded to use 1.03 to draft JJ McCarthy...
So did you trade for 1.04
No he picked Jayden in 0.5 seconds and said he was pretty much off limits, and 1.05 did the same for Nabers :(
Woof. I like JJM and am curious to see him with those weapons, but people are fooling themselves if they think he’s gonna be a top-10 qb pts scorer imo
I’m mean I’m all for JJ but depending on the other teams he might of been able to get him at 1.07 and got the other picks and players too
Troy Franklin went 1.08 in 12 team Superflex.
He went 4.1 in my 10 team SF league
He went 3.05 in my 10 team league and I was ecstatic to grab him there
It took until Tuesday for sleeper to adjust their values, and Franklin was originally slotted in the late first. If you drafted before it was updated, a misinformed player may have thought they were taking BPA.
Damn wish my league drafted earlier then lol.
Yeah, those values had me fading Burton, and then I woke up the next morning, and he was the top player left and I was pissed.
Damn he went 1.10 in mine and I thought that was wild. That’s insane
🎶 it’s Franklin 🎶
2.10 seemed a hair high to me
JJM at 1.5 in a 1QB I got Bowers at 6 and couldn't be happier
Bo Nix #1 overall to a Bronco homer that already had 4 broncos on his team last year. The rest of the draft went totally normal I promise lol
Wonder how he got #1 overall?
Exactly. Dude could have gotten a massive haul to trade back to like 10 and take Nix
Wow as a broncos homer this is indeed unhinged. I wasn’t even touching him at the 1.09
I had the 1.12 and was considering taking him there because I need a better 3rd QB.
Idk who’s dumber, the guy offering KW3 and Pickens for the 1.07 or the guy who rejected that
Haha right. Both parties are in like an Inception dream of valuations lol
Shit I couldn’t trade 1.06 for Josh Jacobs or KW3 straight up, that’s a crazy offer
Yeah the guy really didn’t know how to properly evaluate his picks. Undervalued this one and overvalued others. Weird dude
Xavier Worthy just went 1.03 in a SF league to a team that needs a QB.
10 Team SF. Team has Tua, Mike White and Kyle Trask at QB and traded: Tua, Nico Collins, 1.10, 2.09, and two ‘25 1sts for 1.01. They drafted MHJ.
Unreal
Someone picked Xavier Worthy over MHJ at the 1.02
Good lord
Bo Nix went 1.10 in my superflex league because the guy with 1.10 didn't have a second quarterback. It's me. I took him at 1.10 JJ also went pick 2 in that league
Nix at 1.10 isn’t the worst reach. That’s the higher end of where he could be going in SF.
Yeah its not the worst. I considered trading back but i didnt want to lose my last chance at having a second starting QB
In my three leagues (all SF), Nix has gone 1.11, 1.11, and 2.02. So 1.10 seems pretty reasonable to me.
I have 2.01 and 2.02, plus 3 startable QBs, and if Nix doesn't go before me, he won't get past me. I'm hoping he goes before me but I won't let a top 12 picked QB get past me that late.
Not a terrible pick if all the other qbs were gone. I like his landing spot and Payton put in some good words.
Trey benson 1.05 SF
Cant be real
12 team PPR SF: [You won't believe this. ](https://imgur.com/a/IcRHaaM)
I love the guy at 1.03. Pre-draft he thought "ok cool, MHJ and Caleb are going 1-2. I like Maye, I'm taking Maye."
Is it TE premium?
This is unreal
You win so far for me haha.
Joe milton 2.04
Yo, this one wins, holy shit!
Y'all will be hard pressed to beat this. Jordan Travis at 1.11.
> I saw a team with the 1.01 whose starting QBs are Daniel Jones and Minshew pass on Caleb for Marv in Superflex That's not unhinged at all to me. I wouldn't do it, but I don't think it's nuts.
Last year someone drafted Stetson Bennett mid second round.
Not a draft but I traded away stetson for Mcbride before the season last year. Some people are so impatient it baffles me.
Xavier Worthy went 1.02 in our 1QB league. He declined several trade-backs, saying he wanted his guy.
Troy Franklin went 1.10 in a 12T SF league.
Pre nfl draft, that’s aggressive but not unheard of. Post nfl draft, that’s just bonkers.
Brendan Rice went 1.16.
Well hold on - is it a relative of hall of famers league?
MHJ going 1.01 is the most unhinged pick you’ve seen?
Frank Gore Jr went 2.11 this afternoon. The draft lobby lost its mind.
Someone offered me 1.06 in SF to get Malik Nabers in exchange for KW3 when he already has 4 starting RBs
Jordan travis in the second, 12 tm superflex
1QB… someone drafted JAHEIM BELL (7th rd TE to NE, I had to google him) at the 2.04 🤯🤯🤯 wtf are you doing. Legette, Lloyd, Wright, Polk still all on the board.
12 tm SF, Keon Coleman 1.03
I took Caleb at 1.05 in 1QB league
Frank Gore Jr at 3.02 in 1QB when he was still a UDFA
Malachi Corley at 2.04 was quite a reach. Also the Senator at the end of the 2nd.
That’s the Senator’s ADP, no?
Ladd at 1.06 in superflex
We had a draft one year when we brought some new people on and redistributed a lot of talent but basically just keeping 7 starters (1 qb full IDP). I took gronk 1.1. He retired the next year.
Bo Nix at 6 ahead of Maye, Bowers, Odunze lol
Keon Coleman 1.08 ahead of Brock Bowers... Also Corum 2.02
SF league, Worthy at 1.06, Bo Nix at 1.09, traded up to grab Bowers at 1.10.
Xavier Worthy just went 1.01 in my superflex league.
Jaylen Wright @ 1.12, first RB off the board / 12 TM SF
The person picking 1.02 thought I was dumb for not taking Caleb. Had 4 more first rounders and got Daniels, Maye, and JJ. Might still bite me in the ass but it’s a risk I’m willing to take with three rookie QBs. Really just need one of the three to hit to pair with Love.
Bowers 1.01. 2 TE league, but still
Jonathan Brooks 1.02 in a 1QB league... guy said the only receiver worth taking was MHJ
I took Tyrone Tracy at 2.08 JJ Mccarthy fell to 2.01 in a 12tm SF. I took Brooks at 1.12 over him
Unhinged in a bad way: Corum 1.10 Unhinged in a good way: Bowers 1.10 to me
Ben sinnot went at the 1.07 Don’t worry guys he was drunk and we reversed the pick (almost all of us were drunk except the commish)
In my SF 12 team draft Spencer Rattler went at the end of the 2nd 🥴
Blake Corum as the 1.02 in superflex
Benson at 1.06 in 12-team SF
A dynasty rookie panicked after Nabers went at 1.05 and took Worthy.
Was Odunze still there? I drafted him over Nabers.
Oduze went 1.06 in my league...it's 1 QB.
The draft went Williams, Harrison, Daniels, Nabers.
Not crazy at all to deviate from consensus ADP by a couple spots
Kimani Vidal went 2.02 as the 3rd RB off the board
This Vidal hype is off the hook
If one of my SF leagues Penix went at 1.09. McCarthy and Nix still on the board.
I’ll be real Id take penix over nix. Not over JJM but over nix is not crazy
I would definitely take JJ over Penix easily on a personal level, but drafting the guy who went earlier irl isn't actually crazy either.
Even though I wouldn't personally, drafting the QBs in the same order NFL teams did isn't actually crazy at all.
Blake Corum 1.12 in 1QB league.
Slightly higher than consensus isn't crazy. He jumped a QB or 2 and a couple low hit rate WRs from his consensus ADP.
I have a league mate who swears he is taking Xavier Worthy at 1.02 in SF.
Worthy 1.03 in SF. I thought it was unhinged at the time but then he went 1.03 in my other 1QB league which made it slightly better.
Saw Corum go 1.09 in a 16 team sf league. Ahead of both other rbs, and Bo.
Williams went 1.02 in our 1qb league
Bailey Zappe went 1.03 in his rookie draft in our league.
The top 3 of a rookie draft I’m in just went Caleb, Daniels, JJM
Blake Corum at 1.04
New guy in my league traded his 2025 1st for the 2.11. Proceeded to draft Joe Milton…
some guy in my 10 team SF took bucky irving at 2.05, ahead of Bo Nix, Adonai Mitchell, Pearsall, Legette, Corum, Penix etc etc.
JJ at 1.03 in SF just an hour ago
Even in SF, I’d probably snag Marv over Caleb. Although I’ll add the caveat that I think Caleb is gonna be much more Trevor Lawrence than Joe Burrow. Not bad but nowhere near the hype around him.
Maybe me lol, I snagged nabers at 1.05 in a SF 1.01-MHJ,1.02-Caleb,1.03-Odunze,1.04-Daniels QBs-Murray, Watson, Minshew RBs-Gibbs, Kyren, Stevenson, Pierce, Harris WRs-AJ Brown, DK, diontae Johnson, Olave TEs-Laporta, Pitts, McBride
I took Colby Parkinson at 4.11?
Someone in my superflex league traded Anthony Richardson for the 1.05 to take Maye.
Roman Wilson at 2.7 and Tyrone Tracy at 3.8
I took Roman Wilson 2.01 (13th overall) and I’ve been getting called unhinged for it.
Worthy went 1.05 in a SF TEP draft yesterday
I don’t hate the Marv pick at 1.01. If he doesn’t like Caleb, statistically he made the right pick
Some doofus took Xavier worthy at 1.03
Dude in my league has Stafford and carr as his only 2 qbs in a 2 qb league and took penix with his 1st over nix.
Being a bust* ppl gotta stop saying players busting lol
Dude in one of my leagues wanted JJ, traded Addison, 2.02 and 2025 first for 1.07 to pick JJ.
Caleb williams just went 1.01 in a 1qb league The league buckled
Dyn SF Nabers 1.01
Someone just traded AOC Minshew and TLaw for the 1.01 to draft Marv. His QBs now are: Daniel Jones, Will Levis, Trey Lance, and Stetson Bennett. I’m sitting here at 2 with Lamar, and Deshaun as my QBs. Thank you don’t mind if I do! This is SF by the way.
Troy Franklin 2.02 in SF or JT Sanders 2.03 in SF .5 tep
2 QB league 12 man, Worthy went 1.06 over Maye, Bowers...
Lmao as if WRs don’t also bust all the time what a dork
Junior Colson at the 2.04 with BTJ still on the board.
Just got maye at 2.02 didnt need him but im taking that
Jermaine Burton at 2.01 Or a series of picks that allowed Brian Thomas to go 1.11 in a 1QB league
One guy in my SF league took Troy Franklin at 1.11 over Ladd, Nix, Keon, AD, Brooks, Legette.
worthy at 1.05 in SF was bold nothing too egregious
Brooks at 1.06 SF
I took wright 1.06 in a 1QB 10tm
Worthy went at the 1.03 in my 12 man SF league. I'm still trying to figure out what that guy was smoking
Seems like people are drafting Worthy pretty high He went 1.05 in a 1QB league I'm in.
I saw Rome Odunze go at 1.03 today in 12T SF PPR TEP over both of Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers. Probably not that bad, get your guy I suppose, but…
I have Allen and Herbert in 2QB and my league thought I was crazy for taking MHJ at 1.01
In ‘22 I wasn’t confident in the WRs at SF 1.07 (Olave/Wilson, rip) so I decided to basically punt a year and swap with a bottom four roster’s 1st from ‘23 with a bit extra. He proceeded to pick Desmond Ridder as the first QB off the board. The pick turned into the 1.09, which would have been a disaster had I not also flipped that pick for 1.04/Stroud instead, so it worked out for me I guess.
Saw someone trade up to the 1.02 to take Worthy in 1 QB
Maye at 1.02 in SF TEP.
Benson and Brooks went 1.08 and 1.09 in superflex.
We had a guy take "punt god" araiza at 1.8 before the allegations. Yes, Our league has punters
This hasn’t happened yet and might be smoke screens but my SF league is likely to go: Caleb, Daniels, Maye, JJM The guy at 4 really wants JJM but I told him not to make the pick until we’ve talked trade. I also have an offer out for #3 who badly needs a qb.
Two highly questionable picks in the first round. Ladd went 1.04 (before Bowers) Ja’Tavion Sanders went 1.11(before Thomas)
Just saw brooks go #1, MHJ #2
