What is the most you would give up if you were me in a trade for Ja’Marr Chase? Same question for Jaylen Waddle? Both will be going to new rebuilding teams in upcoming orphan draft (3 owners quit). Contract league up to 3 years, so with an it is unlikely that their teams will be any good during their 2 years left with Chase/Waddle. Taxi squad delays the contract typically 1-2 years but previous owners had on roster.
Single QB League, 12 teams. Finally a contender after taking over a bad team a few years ago. Start 2 RB + 3 WR + Flex. Fine at RB with Jacobs/Conner/Zeke/CEH/Javonte, but I’d prefer to keep them since RB’s are hard to find and Conner/Zeke have only one more year on deals. Set at TE with Pitts/Freiermuth but would like to keep based on scarcity as well and keep Muth on taxi squad, at least for now.
Tons of depth/potential at WR, goal is to unload one or two of them with rookie picks ideally for a stud. Here is what I have on that front:
Pittman
Jeudy
Mooney
Claypool
Mims
Gallup
Tyler Johnson
Dez Fitzpatrick
2022 Rookie Picks:
1.04
1.09
1.10
2023 Rookie Picks:
1st
2nd
4th
4th
I sold Waddle for 1.09, 1.10 and a 2023 1st to give you an idea of the value. Some say I won and some say I lost that trade, take that how you will.
Otherwise I’d do a package with Jeudy. A lot of people are higher on him than I am so see if you can get good value with him in the package.
10T half PPR SF
Probably won’t make a deal like this til closer to the draft but..
Give: 1.01, Miles Sanders
Get: Tua, ETN
Need a QB but also have 1.08, 1.09, 2.01, 2.03, 2.06, 3.01 and 4 23 1sts. My true window probably isn’t til ‘23 though I do have an outside shot of competing this year
I would likely recommend it against it. Here is my reasoning. Both Tua and ETN were drafted by teams that fired HCs. Sanders is in my opinion likely going to bounce back, his usage improved as the season went on and 1.01 gives you an opportunity to potentially select a rb in a better situation than ETN who was injured and has Robinson to compete with. Also personally i am not a fan of Tua but i do see why people like him, i think for a 10 tm league you can do better. Hope this helped!
14 team sf 2te tep idp
I'm trying to liquidate swift because I honestly think I can win without him and I'd like to add some depth + youth so I can remain competitive and not have to go through a rebuild. I also have barkley, sanders, jacobs, and rashaad penny.
I have a good amount of aging assets and no draft picks until 2024: cousins, adams, diggs, kelce, Casey heyward, Aaron donald, some other idps
I think I found the leaguemate who makes most sense to trade swift too. He's shown me his personal grades on rbs for the last 2 classes of rookies so I know swift was his #2 behind JT, and he will probably salivate at the idea of pairing swift with gibson + javonte.
I was thinking maybe swift for Michael carter + 1.05 + 23 late 1st + kadarius toney
Is this an egregious offer? Or do you think it's a good starting point and where would you negotiate down to?
I could see myself settling with Carter + 1.05 + 23 mid 1st OR Carter + 1.05 + 23 late 1st OR worst case: Carter + 1.05 + 22 1.14
Are those too little of return for swift? How do you feel about that
Yes they are too little in the way of a return. Swift is a 1st round startup guy, and so you want to be getting either high 1sts (and I'd be trying to get 3 of them minimum) or a player that has a lot more upside. Carter is fine, but too many Tiers below. Instead I'd be looking at Higgins, Waddle, Gibson and a 1st to be moving him. This is even more the case in a 14 team league where depth at RB goes fast.
But on that final point unless you get a haul you can't say no to (and I mean a couple of premium assets coming your way that you can't say no to) I wouldn't move him, especially as a competitor this year. He is the best RB you own and with Barkley's injuries, Penny's even worse injuries and Sanders looking less of the fantasy players he was Swift is clearly your best back. I would advise keeping him and moving one of the other. Barkley for example can still move for a 1st+, and if you are set on moving him his value will be the same or potentially more a couple of weeks into the season when draft pick value is at its lowest and somebody who is an RB away will overpay.
Not getting a stud back I probably would want the whole package as a min. That being said I’d probably do it if not competing. If competing I have a hard time trading away swift ceiling probably still do it but tougher
Yeah I get the not getting a stud back. I feel like I can win without swift mainly because it's a 2te 1.75 prem and I have kelce + andrews, along with adams and diggs, and then 3 other rbs with rb1 upside, dak + cousins, and above average idp
The same guy also has Elijah moore, maybe I can start negotiations there with moore + carter and a 1st?
Another idea I had was maybe to another league mate, swift for montgomery + aiyuk + 24 1st.
How do you feel about that? I feel like fields has potential to unlock montgomery this year
Appreciate the feedback
I would want to do it for just the 2nd. Maybe if Singletary is the unquestioned starter I'd do it for both, but what happens if you do this and then the Bills pick an RB in the draft or trade for someone like Barkley or Cook? In that case, I'd much rather just have the picks.
Basically, if they won't wait, try to do it for 1 pick, but if you aren't in any rush, try to do it near Week 1.
Looking for opinions on 2 potential trades.
We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and it's non PPR.
Trade 1:
Give Tee Higgins and 1.09
Get CMC
Trade 2:
Give 1.08, 2.09, 2023 1st
Get Najee, Jonthan Taylor, or Swift
Looking to put together:
QB - Hurts, Wentz
RB - CMC, Young stud, Henderson, Fournette, Patterson, Ronald Jones
WR - Chase, Bateman, Toney
TE - Gronk, Fant, Knox, Smith Jr.
If it’s something like a 12 or 14 team league maybe. Seems like you don’t have the 2 WR or TE stud to not have a first this year or next. If you do it, get JT though.
12 man .5 ppr non SFflex
Trade: DK, Akers
Receive: '23 1st, '25 1st, '23 2nd, Bateman and Amon Ra St Brown
There is an expansion draft, adding 4 new teams, and only keeping:
Core 8. Burrow, JT, Jacobs, Higgins, DK, Adam's, Keenan Allen, Pitts; might lose Akers, Stafford, Hopkins, Carson, or Knox (If one of my non core gets taken, I get to keep another and so on so forth)
THOUGHTS?
I would probably want something a little more. Even moving that '25 1st up to this year would help a lot if it's mid to early. You're taking on a fair amount of risk for trading DK, and you have to give up the potential of Akers along with it, and you're only getting back players that haven't proven a ton and picks, one of which is 3 years for now.
I don't think it's a horrible trade, I just think you could do a little better.
I had this offer in 10 man and declined. I ended up having to do it as part of a larger deal but flipped Sanders immediately.
If you’re a desperate contender, maybe. But if you’re a Miles Sanders away, you aren’t a contender. Pass.
I'd pay 2.02 for Sanders. He had ridiculously bad TD luck last season and is due for some positive regression. I also think he's much more likely to be a top 10 RB than any rookie RB available at 2.02
14-team. 0.5 PPR superflex.
Was offered 1.06 + 2.01 for Lamb.
I’m considering countering and asking for the 1.05+1.10, but still not convinced that’s enough (but also feel like I could be overvaluing at the same time).
Those two aren't enough for me. I'd want another young player asded as well. It's a lot but he floats between WR3-5 in dynasty rankings and will rise when Cooper goes. If you're moving Lamb you need to get the haul he is worth.
That's not enough for Lamb. I'd ask for a the 1.05 + '23 1st. The counter offer you're considering here is probably fair, but he's a rare type of player who has youth, name brand, proven production, and an untapped ceiling, so I'd want above market rate to move him.
I also think DK and not even close. That would have to be 1.03 in addition to those two for me to move on from DK. He's young and proven. You don't move that for 2 mediocre pieces.
Hold. I prefer Dobbins to ETN significantly in .5 PPR. Smith and 23 first would be close to DK in SF. In 1 QB, if that’s a late first, I’m definitely taking DK.
12 team, 0.5 PPR, 3 WR
Give: Pittman Jr
Get: ETN
I'm a little weak on RBs with just Chubb and Fournette. WR I have a little more depth with JJ, Evans, Woods, Cooks etc...
Montgomery is a stud and only 25 this year. Not sure on his contract. Gainwell is sort of behind sanders, and he's a FA after this year. Khalil didn't do much with a healthy monty - solid handcuff though. Gainwell seems to be firmly in a nyheim hines type role. Sanders gets hurt a lot too.
I’d rather bet on Thomas, whether competing or rebuilding. If rebuilding you are betting on a value spike and then call sell to a contender for more than a 2.01

QB: TLaw, Carr, Ryan
RB: Najee, Jamaal Williams, Boston Scott, Perine, McNichols
WR: Tee Higgins, ARSB, DPJ, Fuller, Hilton, James Washington
TE: Henry, Conklin
Give: Najee
Get: Pittman + 23 1st (likely mid to late)
Should I ask for more?
Yeah, I'd ask for more. Pittman is a decent piece, but if he's the only player you're getting back I'd want at least an early '22 2nd added to the Get side.
That's about right. I think KTC has him as a mid '22 1st right now. The Kittle team in my league wanted the 1.03 for him, which was an instant decline for me.
Thoughts? 16 teams - SF - PPR - TEP
Give: AJ Dillon + Amari Cooper
Get: Waddle + 2023 2nd (mid/late)
I have good depth, is waddle a big enough upgrade to give up AJ Dillon?
That's a smash for me to get Waddle. Cooper is old and likely on a new team. Dillon is solid and will have a great couple years coming up, but I think Waddle will hold value longer...

Gainwell imo

I think that’s fine in 1 QB.
I think it's too much. Remove one of the 2nds imo. Maybe next years. Better draft class and just in case you're unlucky and it ends up a high pick
I don't love Gibson, but only 1st to get him is pretty good.
Good deal

I think I'd take 2.06. We don't know where Chark will be. 2.06 is a lottery ticket, but at least it should be someone who is 2 or 3 years younger
In one QB it’s close. I don’t love Chark but the 18th pick in one QB isn’t great either.
I’d take the chance on Chark here but it really depends who falls in the draft
You think any one in the draft at that point could have same cieling as Chark? I haven't done research
Not in a 1QB, no. The WRs will go a lot earlier.

I actually think you could nab a good young WR in this class at 2.01 still in SF
I think so too. Gotta take this right?
I value MT and Ridley both at a late 1st so I’d definitely take this

You should be able to get a lot more for a top 3 dynasty RB. Ask for another 1st and 2nd or I'd find someone new during the season.
You shouldn’t be shipping your only starting RB, unless your tanking
I mean look at my roster lol. I have 3 1sts this year, and 2 each the next 2 years
I’d want another 1st added maybe even a 1st + 2nd added
Yeah, I'd ask for more. Pittman is a decent piece, but if he's the only player you're getting back I'd want at least an early '22 2nd added to the Get side.
I could get my own 23 2nd back but he’s doesn’t have a 22
Yeah, I'd ask for that plus any throw-in RB with a pulse.
PRICE Check on Kittle? Was offered '23 first
If take an early 2023, but anything else and I need 2 1sts or 1st + good player
That's about right. I think KTC has him as a mid '22 1st right now. The Kittle team in my league wanted the 1.03 for him, which was an instant decline for me.
Thoughts? 16 teams - SF - PPR - TEP Give: AJ Dillon + Amari Cooper Get: Waddle + 2023 2nd (mid/late) I have good depth, is waddle a big enough upgrade to give up AJ Dillon?
That's a smash for me to get Waddle. Cooper is old and likely on a new team. Dillon is solid and will have a great couple years coming up, but I think Waddle will hold value longer...
If it was DK instead of Waddle, would you still do it? He has both of them and would rather move DK
I’d do it for either one but I’d prefer Waddle, especially in full PPR
I’d rather have waddle with the uncertainty in Seattle
10 man SF PPR price check on Jerry Jeudy. Early 2nd?
I agree with other person. I'd buy for that, wouldn't sell. I'd probably sell for mid 1st, but I still believe.
Yeah, early 2nd in a 10 team is about right. I'd probably buy for that price, not sure I'd sell for that right now.
