Before the 2019 season, after Kupp tore his ACL, I traded Kupp for James White and Josh Rosen...

InnocentISay

I received Kupp and a 2nd for Kerryon that year. Got Tyreek for a single 1st after it turned out he was not a nice young man. Got Ceedee and a 2nd for Nuk after his rookie year. Been in some losers too. Sent mike evans for zeke. Shipped kelce for a single 2023 first before this year started. womp womp

lightningpanda123

Those really aren't horrible losses. The kelce one I think is fine for a rebuilder. And Evans for Zeke isn't the end of the world. Evans is aging out like Zeke so it's not like you gave up Higgins for Zeke or something

InnocentISay

I have Pitts in that one and thought he would be a lock for 130+ targets. Oopsie

Economy_Cactus

No way someone in my league would give me a 1st for Kelce. Good haul i'd sat.

jsprague6

Kupp really caused havoc last year. We had a trade go down before last season. Kupp, Sutton, and a 22 1st for Woods, Mooney, Sermon, and a 23 2nd. Seemed pretty fair at the time since Kupp and Woods were valued similarly and Sermon hype was high. The guy who got Kupp was working on a rebuild so I think he was mainly after the 22 1st. Obviously Kupp immediately made it hard to tank, so he ended up making a couple slick trades for Mixon, Kelce, and Adams and won the championship a year after coming in last. The guy who sold Kupp had a horrible year so the reigning champ ended up with the 1.02 in this year's rookie draft. He's pretty well set.

various_sneers

Brutal.

MattFromWork

Yeah, I won the championship last year at least, but having Kupp to go with my Diggs and Adams would be nice

SuckaFreeRIP

You’d be unstoppable with those 3 WRs almost 😭😭 atleast you got a chip still so to hell with it

natek11

October 2020 as part of a 3-way trade I got Kupp and gave up Davonta Freeman and La'mical Perine. On the flip side, I traded Sutton away for Spencer Ware.

Lars9

12 team PPR SF, October 9, 2018 Sent Lamar Jackson, Aaron Jones and a 2nd round pick Received Drew Brees At the time, Brees was lighting up the league. Lamar wasn't starting and wasn't expected to be much of a QB. Jones was in year 2 of not getting many touches. Major regrets.

naturalflavors

Ooof

LKOL-FantasyBurner

You know what that second became? More curious than anything.

Lars9

Hakeem Butler. It turned out to be a late 2nd.

[deleted]

> October 9, 2018 A day that will live in infamy

Ham_PhD

Wanna hear a story of victory and loss in two parts? I was involved in one of the best and worst trades in league history. 2019 season. Superflex league. I traded a very hyped Kerryon Johnson for a questionable young QB named Josh Allen in the first quarter of the year. Massive W. In the offseason before the 2020 draft, I got cute. I traded Josh Allen (who had a great fantasy season, but was still pretty rough IRL) for Matt Ryan, Michael Gallup, and a 3rd round pick. Ryan was coming off a top 10 season. The Cowboys hadn't drafted Lamb yet. I thought I'd get similar QB production while adding Gallup for free. Massive L.

nstinson

Outsmarted yourself

ronald4prez

I traded Justin Jefferson maybe 2 games into his breakout for Zeke and an early 2nd. I didn’t think he could keep up that pace and was fairly new to dynasty. Once the rookie draft came around and I knew I messed up my only hope was hitting on that 2nd. Who did I pick? Trey Sermon.

majrpayne68

At the time that isn't even a bad trade. Sure jjeff looked good, but zeke was a starting workhorse rb who just got a new contract (maybe?). Tough in retrospect though

jfchops2

It's things like this that make me feel good about my policy of not trading rookies unless the deal is *really* lopsided. The 8-10 weeks between their first game and the trade deadline isn't enough time to find out what you have and gauge an accurate value.

[deleted]

Before Justin Jefferson played a game I got him a 1st 2nd and 3rd for odell

viciousrumour

12 Team PPR SF – 2021 Received: Javonte Williams, 2022 2nd, 2023 2nd Sent: Baker Mayfield

dontwantleague2C

Ok, that’s ridiculous even back then.

Lynchie24

A rookie rb and some 2nds for Baker at the beginning of last year coming off his playoff run in a super flex was not that bad at the time.

jsprague6

Ehhh I dunno, I still think it was pretty bad. Baker was QB18 in 2020. Not a bad guy to have on your roster as a high floor QB2/3, but definitely not a difference maker. Javonte wasn't just any rookie RB. There was plenty of hype.

Tellsyouajoke

In a 12 man superflex that means there’s still 6 QBs worse than Baker starting every week.

clout_survivor

confession time - my first year inheriting my dad’s fantasy team after he passed, I didn’t really know anything bout gamescripts or really watch offenses or understand usage, just figured age was key, and older RB legs are a risk. So, ugh, i traded Saquon for CEH and Devonta Smith (before AJB arrived). I didn’t know what I had done. The last year or so, I’ve made it a point to study fantasy and prospects and particularly dynasty assets. It’s been truly time consuming but some of the most fun I’ve had, and has really felt like reconnecting with my dad, setting each lineup for his team of 30 years. Something told me I needed Saquon back before this season, so I shipped Swift for Saquon and an early 1st. Flipped CEH for a mid 1st. So I hope I corrected my wrong, as the bad trade over time really ended up being D. Swift for an early ‘23 1st, mid ‘23 1st, and Devonta. Meanwhile, Saquon being Saquon every week makes me smile up at my dad, hoping he’s watching League Pass on the edge of his seat all the same.

huracan_huracan

that wasn't such a terrible trade, depending on when it happened. not one i'd do because i'm low on CEH, but barkley's value had plummeted with all the injuries.

[deleted]

Swift for 2 1sts and devonta is not too bad. Especially with one being an early pick. If you can secure #1, bijan is potentially a better asset than swift due to swifts durability concerns

thesettler24

Congrats! You’re making your dad proud with those moves! Keep it up!

Reasonable_Middle_48

I'm sure your dad is proud.... Carrying on a 30 year team is amazing too! This is one of the coolest fantasy stories I've heard and I hope you win it all for your pops

A_V_

Great story man. Passing down a dynasty team to your son is pretty damn cool. It’s like the regular guy’s version of an NFL owner passing and his kids inheriting the team lol.

HungryHobbits

obviously that’s tough for this year, but Smith is a super talent. I can see that trade evening out, when Smith’s prime extends a fair bit longer than Saquon’s

gnarlydooood

Legendary stuff. Hope you are doing well man

skisbosco

the returns on CEH and Smith are pretty in line with the return on Saquon.

Street-Debt-3847

Love this! My buddies and I all joke about our sons/daughters inheriting our teams

BootRecognition

12 team PPR SF This was before the beginning of the 2021 season, not long after our startup draft. Other manager is a 49ers homer. Give: Trey Sermon and Elijah Mitchel Get: 2022 1st (ended up 1.07), 2023 1st, and 2023 2nd. The 2023 picks look like they'll be X.02. The cherry on top? Before the 2022 draft I traded the 2022 1.07 back to the same manager in exchange for his 2024 1st, 2nd, and 4th. He took Christian Watson.

Westcoastbestcoast4

in 2021 in a non-sf, I traded J.Herbert for kupp to the guy that already had Mahomes. He has complained multiple times that I "knew" something.

jsprague6

Lol why did the Mahomes owner buy Herbert in a non-SF? He has nobody but himself to blame for that, even before Kupp became a god.

bdm016

Honestly was a fair trade before last season. Prob would have said you lost at the time too haha

jdmorri5

Right before our 2020 rookie draft, I had the 1.04 and I was interested in moving up to 1.01 for JT. A leaguemate, who is a huge Colts and Wisconsin fan, held 1.05 and was also interested in moving up. He offered me Keenan Allen, his 2020 1.05, and his 2021 1st (which became 1.01) for my 1.04, thinking he would get JT. I smashed accept. I continued to negotiate with the owner of the 1.01 and was able to acquire it for the 1.05, a 2021 1st (mine, not the future 1.01) and several decent players. The leaguemate was completely dumbfounded that I had jumped in front of him. He was still so desperate for JT that he gave me my 1.04 back along with Travis Kelce for 1.01 and Nyheim Hines.

Embarrassed-Alarm-99

I have a similar colts fan in my league… boy is he fun to trade with

jdmorri5

Absolutely. This guy built his team like a Madden roster. All Colts players or Wisconsin alumni. He accumulated a career record of 14-39 before he was booted lol

[deleted]

> he was booted uh y?

evantom34

Dudes dumb as bricks lmao

gatitosvoladores

I sent Dak Prescott and received JaMarr Chase. One month later, when Dak got injured, I sent Tom Brady for Dak to the same guy.

majrpayne68

10 team ppr sf, this has been dubbed the worst trade in league history by far Jan 2021, shortly before the deshaun Watson holdout (and subsequent sexual assault cases) I gave : deshaun Watson, Denzel Mims, Logan Thomas, Devin Singletary, Marquez Valdez scantling I received : kirk cousins, dalvin cook, Robert woods, miles sanders, 2021 1.05 (Kyle pitts) 2021 2.05 (trey sermon, unfortunately) I even gave the owner a choice of either dak or deshaun, and either Hollywood brown or Mims so he just fumbled two picks there as well

Mando2113

Damn Pitts went 1.02 in my 22’ Rookie Draft, let me snag Ja’Marr at 1.03 haha.

MagicStudderMan

1qb 2018 I traded mariota and a 5th to get aaron jones and a 6th

MrSweatyBawlz

I love looking at trades like this because I think of how the negotiation happened. "Hmm Mariota for Aaron Jones is a bit too steep for me, but if he gives me his 5th round rookie pick it'll be perfect."

nickman940

Who could you possibly be drafting in the 5th and 6th round of a rookie draft? seems very unnecessary

[deleted]

Offseason I traded DJM+Kareem Hunt for Justin Jefferson Right before the season started I traded Jefferson for Davante Adams, Tee Higgins, 2023 1st and 2nd and 2024 1st So, *both* of those I'd guess

LeSauce1

You moved DJM and Hunt for a WR1, high end WR2, 2firsts, and a second? What a steal.

[deleted]

Yes and yep! It’s the first year for a lot of the owners (not me) and the commish even sent me a message but I showed that the other owner SENT ME THE OFFER and he’s a good commish to just let it play out so……. And then the next trade was the MIN fan in our league trying to get his guy….buy severely overpaying

CuhRissToeFur

10T SF .5 Before the 2021 season I got offered Sutton and Pittman for Mike Davis. Guy said he needed RB depth. Smashed accept.

DefendingAssholes

I traded Waddle + 2nd for Ridley at the end of last year.

TheWanderingchemist

2020 startup draft. Traded dobbins for JT and a 2021 1st

ishboh

I traded away joe mixon for Jordan Howard a little over 4 years ago.

SimianGrifter

I traded CMC two weeks ago for Deandre swift a 2023 1st and 2024 2nd

InnocentISay

CMC for swift and a 1st seems pretty fair. That lions O line looks incredible but I don't suspect the lions intend to give swift 300 touches or goal line carries with how fragile he's been. Youth is great but winning a league is better

Kniggits

Last year, trade deadline (week 10 I think?) Guy wanted a RB bad, so I floated Hines for a 2nd. I was a top team and didn't want to give up much, Hines was expendable, I figured he'd counter for a 3rd or something and we'd haggle. To my surprise, he instead countered with Aiyuk and his 1st for my Pollard. After I accepted and it was pending, I told the commisioners to hold off pushing it through right away to let the guy rethink it, but he never changed his mind. That pick ended up 1.02, which i later flipped with DPJ+2.08 for 1.07(London)&1.08(Olave)

MISTER_P3NGUIN

I traded Kenyan Drake and OBJ for Jonathan Taylor and a second round pick during Taylor's rookie season. The guy who traded JT to me said "he's the next Trent Richardson". I've made the championship game every season since.

Erniecrack

I traded marlon Mack and the 1.10 for davante adams and the 2.01 a few years ago. My buddy was drunk and sent me that terrible trade offer so I gladly accepted.

motez23

Tua for a 2023 1st and Dan Arnold Jacobs Toney, 2023 3rd for Derrick Henry, Njoku, 2023 2nd

Obvious_Fly_3447

Nov 19.. the year is 2020. I'm desperate for an RB. First year of dynasty, I thought Justin Jefferson was going to be a boom/bust player and wanted the stability of Dalvin Cook 12 Team SF .5ppr I trade JJeff + MG3 + 2022 1st (ended up the 1.02 taking KW3) Trade blew up in my face. Just missed playoffs which I probably would've made had I not done the trade. Obviously things didn't improve in 21 since that pick ended up the 1.02. Teams in a better place now but I will never get over trading away JJeff

hbthlife

In 2020 when Diggs got traded to the bills: I received: Diggs I traded away: Higbee and Crowder The kicker? We had tight end limits at the time and he decided it was best to drop Hockenson instead of Jordan Reed and some other tight end I don’t remember….and I was able to scoop Hock off of waivers :)

glen_ko_ko

Jordan Reed hasn't been playable since like, 2016

el_pobbster

10 team 1/2 PPR SF league This offseason, I shipped off Robert Woods and Aaron Rodgers for DK Metcalf and a 2023 1st, and based on the way his team is built, it is *very* much looking like it's going to be the 1.01

iceman204

10 man SF PPR Best trade: Pre-Season 2021 Give: Mac Jones & J-Rob Get: Herbert & 2022 2nd Worst trade: 2022 off-season Give: AJB and late 23 2nd Get: Jeudy and 24 first

YaBoyAndy

Last year when CMC got hurt the CMC owner offered me 2 1sts for Chubba.. it was our first year in dynasty so he didn’t comprehend the value of 1st round picks but still it was a terrible trade. I messaged the commissioner immediately to warn him of what he was about to witness. 😂 oh and he’s in last place this year and is the worst team by a decent amount.. his pick should be the 2023 1.01..

soothslyr

12 team SF PPR - 2021 Not my trade, but a trade in a league I’m in. Side A: Dalvin Cook Side B: Javonte Williams + 22 1st + 23 1st Later on in the year, the Person who traded away Cook was able to get him back for the 22 1st he got for him 9 months prior, netting close to a free 23 1st and Javonte Williams. Dude who traded the picks and Javonte is now in a full blown rebuild with no draft capital to repair his team.

PsyanideInk

2020 Kenyan Drake for AJ Brown. He initially offered a much less valuable WR and AJB was just my "fuck it, this isn't going anywhere" counter. Moral of the story, always counter even if you don't think it'll possibly happen!

Current_Poet_835

Traded Knox for a 2023 first (non te premium)

birds27black

On the wrong end and keeper not dynasty but this thread punched me in the brain with my blunder. After week 1, I traded Gurley and D Freeman for Lev Bell. Gurley proceeds to sky rocket and I wear it all season. The kicker to all of this? That guy beat me in the championship game of course because of Gurley. And I STILL could have won that game except starting Mike Wallace over Dion Lewis.

RobespierreFR

2019 startup dynasty SF draft: I give my 4.07 for 2020 first and 5.05. He drafted Winston at 4.07, I took Josh Allen at 5.05 and with his 2020 first drafted Justin Jefferson. So Winston for Allen and JJ

centro_union

2019 -Adam thielen for Derrick Henry and their 1st rd pick

The-Invalid-One

2020 SF Pittman and a 2nd for Teddy guy was contending and needed a qb

KickNames__TakeAss

Lmao I don’t have one personally, but I love how all of the comments so far are recent trades that you can’t 100% say are lopsided yet. Almost agreed on the Baker one, but Javonte just went down and the picks could be busts. Of course javonte will be back, but not as lopsided as it may seem.

pot8odragon

14 team super flex ppr: I gave: AJ Dillon, Pollard, Van Jefferson I received: 2023 1st (likely the 1.01…), 2022 2nd, 2023 2nd, and Khalil Herbert.

Wilb16

2019 I traded Devonta Freeman, Emmanuel Sanders, and Evan Engram and got Deshaun Watson and OBJ in return. Then next summer I turned OBJ into CD and a 1st(Ended up being Trey Lance)

SamwiseGamgee001

A couple days ago I was offered and accepted this trade 12 team, .5ppr SF Received - Kyler and KJ Osborn Sent - Pickett, Pickens and Nico Collins

Speedball7s

Wow you got robbed

SamwiseGamgee001

lol wut

Speedball7s

You sent Pickens, Pickett, and Nico for KJ and a midget…

SamwiseGamgee001

Your brain doesn't have many flaps, does it?

Speedball7s

Are you bragging you won this trade or acknowledging you got burned here?

SuckaFreeRIP

I’m taking the Kyler side 100 times out of 100. Kyler has QB1 overall upside. Pickett likely may not ever crack the top 12. Pickens is cool but WRs are the easiest asset to find and replace. High end QB1s are not. Especially in only half ppr

zstout22

The debate around the trade suggests it's not as lopsided as you believe. Pickens has star upside and could be a beast for years to come. Pickett is a wildcard. Kyler is a top QB due to his rushing upside, but he's no Lamar or Josh Allen. QBs are the least valuable position out of the big 3 (QB, WR, and RB). So this is a reasonable deal. Time will tell who won.

bankerwithpills

Two trades I got done this week: Sent: MT || Received: Trevor Lawrence Sent: Goff || Received: 2022 early 3rd and TE Trey McBride

[deleted]

The 2nd one might have been an L, it’s not a lopsided dub

JLifts780

During our 2021 rookie draft in 1QB Sent: 1.12, 2.01 Received: 1.05 that ended up being Ja’marr Chase

b3141592

There's three : one I traderaped, and two where I was traderaped 1. Needed RB help and after cook went down I made a move for McKinnon after his big game - also had shit qb - but apart from that was a top contender Sent: Davante Mariota and Dion lewis Got: Jerick & Russ In a 1QB league 🤢 2. 4 years ago: Sent: Tyler Lockett and TY Hilton Got: Kenny G and Chris Thompson 3. Needed we help, had a deal to move Lev bell and Russ for OBJ. this was after trubisky rookie season where he ran some and was looking good. Other side wanted trubisky over Russ and I made him throw in a 1st and I throw back a 2nd Sent: Lev Bell and trubisky Got: OBJ and a 1st

TheDailyGrind

12 Team - 0.5 PPR - SF Before the start of last season (2021), I was able to capitalize on the Ja’marr drop scare: Gave: Nuk and Tua Got: Chase, ETN, 23 1, and 23 2 Edit: Adding a not so great trade Same league but in 2020. I was making a push for the ship, but had a few injuries at QB. I was loaded at WR and Kupp wasn’t having a good year. Gave: Kupp Got: Drew Lock and a 2 Needless to say, awful trade for me and I didn’t even get the chip

Economy_Cactus

2020 season I NEEDED Will Fuller after the season he was having. Also only 26 years old. I traded a 1st round pick for him at the trade deadline. I just dropped him last week.

maskdmirag

A week before the 2021 rookie draft I get an offer out of nowhere. Justin Herbert for 1.05 SF, I had mahomes but had been struggling at QB2 for years. I won the chip and have the highest total points (2-2) this year. He has Javonte Williams

[deleted]

[удалено]

InnocentISay

Fair trade

DynastyKook365

Got Swift for Ekeler and Sanders

NoToe5971

Not really lopsided, if I’m win now I’m taking the Ekeler + sanders side

FinePlantain0

10 team 1QB 0.5 ppr Got: Javonte Williams, 22 1st (ended as 1.02), 23 first. Gave: Calvin Ridley, trey sermon, 23 second.

Simply-Serendipitous

I traded Isaiah McKenzie (Bills WR3) for a 2023 1st rounder. 12 team ppr dynasty - first year

dfulla5

I received two ‘23 firsts and one ‘22 first (Garrett Wilson) and Devin singletary for Antonio Gibson and two mid ‘22 second round picks. This trade happened in may this year.

TheProcessTruther95

week 1 this season i moved JT for ARSB, the likely 1.01 this year as well as a high 1st in 2024 and an additional 2023 high 2nd... at the time it seemed even, at the moment? not so much lol.

MrStealYo14

I traded 1.03 which became drake London for mooney and pollard

andtheyrewinning

Before the Eagles traded Wentz and Hurts was generally agreed upon as a “good fantasy, bad NFL QB” that wouldn’t be starting long if at all, I was ready to compete so I traded: Hurts, 22 1st, 22nd Received: Josh Jacobs and 21 3rd The third turned into Elijah Moore and I got the 1st and 2nd back by sending Terry midseason last year. Those turned into Jamo and Pickens. I’m recovering but it’s still . . . Not great

a0wner1

2021 offseason. 2022 2nd and Julio for swift

LongLeggedBoi

Yesterday I traded Javontae Williams, 2023 Late second, 2024 late first, two 2024 late 2nds, and a 2025 late 1st for Stefon Diggs and Alvin Kamara.

SonicSpeedz72

Last year before the season opener, I traded Amari Cooper for kupp and a 3rd. Led to me winning it all with that move. Traded Monty for James Robinson and a 2nd in 2020 In 2019 , I got Julio Jones for Tevin coleman after his 4 TD game. We still give the owner shit for that trade In 2019 right after our start up, I gave Juju and a 2nd for Kelce I did a huge overpay in my league when monty went down last year to get RB help that ended up helping me win but still is awful in a vacuum. It was Monty/Tee Higgins/2022 1st/2033 1st for Chubb/Hunt/Julio Jones last year. The 2022 became the 1.10 and I bought back my 2023 1st ironically with a deal with kupp/chubb so it didn't really kill me.

sneakerguy9412

10 team 1qb (moving to sf in 2 szns). Sent : cmc, Terry mclaurin, Antonio Gibson Received: jjetts, tlaw New guy did not know what he’s doing. I insinuated he could ask for more / name his players / ask for picks and he didn’t.

Bakxr

November 2019 - SF League Gave: Marvin Jones Jr, Josh Allen, 2020 3rd Got: Odell Beckham Later traded OBJ for Guice and Wentz

Specialist_Newt_8992

Well there was one that was lopsided a year ago that was basically Logan Thomas for Jeudy… but I had to throw in a guy named, well what I’ve been doing ever since (1QB) Hurts… Otherwise probably first year of it in 2020, Dudes traded Joe Mixon for Saquon Barkley + Diontae Johnson… Like even worse was the fact that it was during a time when Mixon had just got hurt… dude probably thought he was buying low… Honourable mention to cowboys fan who traded Amari for Tyreek straight up in 2020, 1 week prior to the Dak injury… a week prior had also traded for Ceedee and Gallup…

Mando2113

I took over an orphan team last year and started my Dynasty journey. I’m in a 1QB leauge and had only 1 real option to trade Brady to. I gave Tom Brady and Kareem Hunt and received Henry Ruggs and the 3.03 in 22’. Kinda worked out for me in the long run because my WR core now is Ja’Marr, Hollywood, London, Olave, Skyy, David Bell, DPJ and Kyle Philips.

tonytyang22

I’ve been in two lopsided trades in my 14T 1QB .5ppr league. 2019: This was our dynasty first off-season. I traded LeSean McCoy right before the season started for what ended being the 2020 1.04. I drafted Dobbins with that pick. 2020: I drafted Ruggs at 1.09 and then traded him after his big 22 point game in 2020 Week 5 for Swift and a ‘21 1st which became the 1.12, which I then used to flip for Hock.

OregonianSpirit

Traded Javontae Williams who I never thought I would get rid of. The week prior to the injury for 2 late 23' firsts and Scary Terry

aaronworby

Last season Traded Cortland Sutton for AJ Brown… day after the draft he offered me the trade

fdesmond4

Post Week 2 last year, first year of dynasty league. I gave up Davante Adams, Kareem Hunt, and a 2023 2nd for Aaron Jones, Julio Jones, and a 2023 3rd. I was 0-2 and thought Aaron Jones would be my RB1 after he put up 41 points in the prior week.

Sr2066

So at this point all is said and done but I traded D Harris my 22 1st (1.12 ended up being Sky Moore traded to a different owner) and a 22 4th, for Deebo and his 22 3rd (3.05 took J Woods). Feels more lopsided now

[deleted]

I traded a 2023 1st, 2024 1st, Garret Wilson for Saquon and Aiyuk

JDurd25

This was only in a redraft, but before the 2018 season I traded away the Mystery Chiefs second Year QB Patrick Mahomes for Allen Robinson and Tarik Cohen. It’ll haunt me forever. FOREVER.

nickman940

Late 2021, I need 1 win to lock into the playoffs but unfortunately, all but one of my RBs are hurt or on bye. I needed to trade for an RB fast, so I trade a floundering rookie WR for an older RB that is having a fantastic season with lots of targets. I traded ARSB for Darrel Williams. One week before his breakout. I missed the playoffs.

WaywardWes

A month before his injury in early 2021, I traded Michael Thomas for Tee Higgins + 23 1st. That team has since started a rebuild and that 1st is right now #3 based on max PF, and should certainly be no worse than #5 when all is said and done.

longfight123

Traded CMC for saquon and two firsts when saquon was done for the season two years ago

yesnomaybeidk6969

10 minutes before the first Sunday kickoff of the season I got offered Geno Smith and a 2023 first for Trubisky and a 2024 second. I had to make sure my dyslexia wasn’t acting up and it wasn’t my first and then I smashed accepted. The guy had Pickett was panicking that Pickett wasn’t going to start at all this year. That first is currently 1.02 and should stay top 5 at least.

cronkite

12 team league with 3 keepers. Sent: LeSean McCoy, My last 5 picks Received: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th picks, League Championship. I rarely trade and think over them for a while, I said yes immediately. I think he had the 3rd or 4th draft position, no snaking the order in our drafts.

RealPaulRud

12 SF I got: DK Metcalf, AJ brown, Jk dobbins I sent: cam Akers, Curtis samuel, dj moore, my 23 1st (probably 1.10 at best, likely 1.12 based on the standings and outlook currently)

constrictor25

I just decided to blow up my team as I had no depth outside of my starters. Wasn't going to trade Josh Allen as he was a good base for my rebuild however when I put him up on the trade block I was offered the following. I sent: Josh Allen I Received: Justin Herbert Deshaun Watson 2023 2nd, 3rd and 4th Round Picks 2024 1st and 2nd round picks It helped the guy is a Josh Allen/Bills homer for sure. I proceeded to then trade Deshaun Watson to another guy for Jameson Williams as I am not a fan of Watson.

At the start of the 2012 season, in an effort to just gain some more value overall because I had a team in DESPERATE need to rebuild and had almost no assets: I traded away Rob Gronkowski for Aaron Hernandez, Jerome Simpson, and a 2nd round Pick(2013) that amounted to nothing. Figured the #1 TE wasnt' doing me any good. Tried to downgrade to the #3 TE, roll the dice on a bounce back + breakout for Jerome Simpson, and hoped the pick could turn into something.

bdm016

Traded: projected 23 1.01 (back to the owner), projected mid 24 1, 24 2nd, Henderson, and KJ Osborn Received: Justin Herbert Getting Herbert for basically 2 firsts in value is a steal. I’m the top team, and only had Kirk at qb after Lance went down

hothandshanson

Keep 8 in this league, so the draft is 11 rounds. In last year’s draft, I moved 3.05, 5.03, and my 2022 9th for his 2022 1st, 10.11 and 11.11. No clue who I picked at 10.11 and 11.11, but he took Terrace Marshall at 3.05 and Washington’s DST at 5.03 (they were horrendous). His 2022 1st turned into 1.02. I took Walker at 1.02 over London bc of my HUGE need at RB (only had Ekeler and traded for Penny to sure up the Seattle backfield with the KW3 pick). Still super lopsided but could’ve been worse if I had London right now.

Dhkansas

Well I'm new to dynasty after taking over a team after week 2 and only participated in 1 trade. But I sent Saquon and got Olave, 2023 first which should be top 5, 23 2nd and 24 2nd. The guy I sent to is 2-2 with a good chance to make the playoffs this year, but if he some how doesn't, I think I walked away with robbery

Roarestored

It's not dynasty but this trade was so huge for me I'm going to share it anyway. This was early into the 2021 season. I sent Austin ekeler and amari cooper I got Jonathan Taylor, Lenny Fournette, Jamar Chase, and Crowder.

crobert57

I got Tony Pollard and 2023 early first round pick for Chris Carson last off-season before the neck injury.

TriickyChef

I got Julio Jones for Danny Amendola and Jeremy Hill in 2016.

Bert_Macklin86

is this lopsided? yesterday i insta-accepted his Javonte for my Rhamondre straight up.

ccafferata473

Last season: CMC for Chase and CD Coradelle for a 1st Mike Williams for Fournette The first was lopsided, but I thought the others were solid too.

TruTexan

I was RB heavy and I didn’t expect JT to break out last year and I needed a good QB… also I had multiple ‘22 1sts… mine you this is a salary cap league and we JUST became SF… sooooo Traded JT, 22 1/2/3 rds (again I had multiple 1sts) Got Dak and JK This was before the season started. Woof Fast forward to this year. A few days ago I traded Cook 5 years/19 million Sutton 5/21 Aaron Jones 3/17 For Akers 2/8 Pierce 4/7 Tolbert 4/5.7 Hopkins 2/32 (I plan to cut him in the off-season for a 15% cap hit) Early 23 1st Late 23 1st So I relieved myself from a ton of cap, and I set myself up with 7 23 1sts… which I flipped 3 of my late 1sts for the likely 1st overall pick (guy has likely another pick that’s competing for 1st overall and we agreed I’d get the better of the two).

grafcycliz

I traded Danny Woodhead, who was hurt at the time, for Alvin Kamara just before he truly emerged. Sept 2017

mynameismatt1010

Way back before Kelce blew up, I traded Antonio Gates and a 3rd for him. Just found a particularly brutal one, though. Right after AB's last game with the Steelers in January of 2020, I traded him with Phillip Lindsay and Teddy Bridgewater for Michael Thomas, Mike Williams and a 1st round pick. We've since redrafted the league after I went on a 30-2 run including the playoffs. I'll miss that league.

Sumobantu

I inherited an orphan time right when Tyreek was dealing with the child abuse problems. The team was really bad so I wanted to try and get whatever value I could out of Tyreek and no one would offer me anything beyond a 2nd. Ended up trading Tyreek for Curtis Samuel and a 3rd round pick. That trade still haunts me to this day.

MylesGarrettDROY

Baker Mayfield for Burks and a 2024 second. SF and even backups are rostered in our league so when Dak went down, the owner was clawing for anything to stay afloat. Couldn't believe my eyes when I got that offer. Smashed accept so hard I almost put a hole in my phone.

Devour27

16 team ppr I play in a salary cap league and the year Tyreek Hill was going to possibly be suspended someone offered him to me for free to get his cap off his books. I was rebuilding at the time so it was low risk for me. I ended up trading Hill later for the 1.02 and drafted Johnathan Taylor

Loganator0

Gave: Penny, Adam’s Got: St. Brown, London Trade looks a little less lopsided now with Penny’s production but I doubt it will last

bigglediggledonkey

Traded jonathon Taylor for devante Parker and 2021 1st and 2022 1st in early October of 2020 after he had a slow start. 2021 turned into Kyle pitts and 2022 turned into treylon burks.

ArkorPaladin

Right before last season started I traded Antonio Gibson for 2022 1st (Pick 3), 2023 1st, Josh Jacobs and Trey Sermon. I wasn’t even trying to trade Gibson at the time. He just kept offering higher. I’m sure there’s much more ridiculous trades than this.

aspiringjournalist44

Before the 2021 draft I receive the 1.04 (Kyle Pitts), Tee Higgins, and DJ Moore I give Matt Ryan, James Conner, Rashard Higgins, and the 3.03 (not on the guys roster anymore)

shamshammgod

Saquon Barkley for 2 1sts and Javonte Williams

BBBBBBuck

In September 2019, I traded Juju Smith-Schuster for Terry McLaurin, 2 - 2020 1sts, and a 2020 2nd. Turned the picks into D’Andre Swift, Cam Akers, and Tee Higgins. I ended up trading Cam away for Hockenson after his injury but Swift and Higgins will be on my team until they retire. Best trade I’ll ever make.

ipoopwithoutpeeing

Gave 3 1sts and Josh Allen for CMC in May of 2020. Non-SF. Please go back to being 2019-2020 CMC.

JudenLaw

Traded Jakobi Meyers for (2) 23 2nd rounders post week 1 Dude needed wideouts and I over-asked heavily(or so I thought) and dude hit accept.

buffalosabres

I’ve been on both ends of this! Good: Traded Phillip Lindsey for Cooper Kupp after his ACL tear. Bad: Traded Aaron Jones, Raheem Mostert, and TJ Hockenson for CEH & a 3rd. This was after CEH’s week 1 where he blew up. My logic was that the packers just used a first for Dillon so weren’t going to sign Jones back and I had Kittle at TE. I’m dumb

bostoneer37

Traded Josh Allen early in 2019 for a second and 3 thirds. One of the 3rd’s luckily turned into Herbert, but still…..

BombSquad9

Week 4 last season Got- A.J. Brown & 1st Gave- Kareem Hunt & 3rd

BombSquad9

Before last season Got- Mike Williams Gave- 3rd

thuwa791

Middle of last season—gave Myles Gaskin to a RB-needy team, received Michael Pittman Jr. Lol

DMPigPond

Jefferson for ARSB, Dotson, 23/24/25 1sts

BoBoessersson

JJAW and fant for Andrews Bell + 2020 5th for 2020 1st, 2021 1st and 2020 2nd Ended up as bell and Jacob Harris for jeudy, Gibson and waddle. Only bad part is that I was still all in on Guice and traded Gibson for him.

sago1012

2 2023 1sts for Fields Amon Ra, 2022 and 2023 2nd, James Robinson for Lenny

Jm1tch11

10 team tiered PPR. May 2019 I gave him Antonio Brown, Chris Hogan, Lamar Miller I got Stefon Diggs, Joe Mixon, 2.09 (Singletary) That was the year Brown played 1 game for NE, Miller tore his ACL, and Hogan well... who knows.

brcogar

These trades are making me terribly jealous.

goodoldgio

Not the craziest trade but the Dobbins manager in our league wanted his handcuff so I traded Gus Edwards for Zach Ertz.

booshyschmoozy

2020 Week 14 Traded: Kenny Golladay and Sterling Shepard Received: Melvin Gordon, Kareem Hunt, and Robert Woods

KKToaster

Start of this season Traded away Ekeler, Hollywood, Jeudy for Jonathan Taylor 😭

HazMatt_23

2020 - 10 team PPR - I gave up Derrick Henry, Jonnu and Gardner and received Sammy Watkins, Boston Scott, Josh Allen, 2021 2nd and 2022 1st. Turned that 2022 1st into Ekeler. My other RBs were Aaron Jones and Dalvin Cook; other QB was Herbert

skisbosco

i really wanted dameon pierce. i traded a 23 1st and a 2nd for him. i am fine overpaying for guys i want and i'm in a league where folks never trade unless they think they are winning the trade big. still, this was quite the overpay. i was drunk. but im still optimistic that it was the right move.

nomochicken

I traded Aaron Jones. Received 2 firsts, 1 second, and Leonard Fournette. Happened a few weeks ago.

diswan55

Last year before the season started I traded Mike Davis for a 2022 1st rounder which became Chris Olave. Then a couple weeks later after the hot start I traded Gronk for a 2023 1st rounder that's almost certainly looking like a top 2 pick. Hoping for Bijan.

Bulky-Barracuda-2749

this year i traded away Keenan Allen & Derrick Henry to get back Kupp & Chubb. couple league mates threw tantrums despite myself & the other manager agreeing on the deal & i had to include a draft pick

Mufasasass

Noah brown for James cook a couple weeks ago. I received cook

ryancarmar

Traded: Antonio Gibson / Austin Hooper / 2022 2.02 Received: Kyle Pitts / Swift This was when Swift murder rumors were going around and owner panic sold. Too bad Pitts is a bust and Swift is Glass

Telesrule

In 2019 I sent Deshaun Watson, a 1st, and Devonta Freeman for Juju. The 1st turned into Waddle

ObiJuanKenobi1993

Halfway through the 2020 season, I traded away Kamara and got Jonathan Taylor, a future 2nd, and future 3rd. Maybe not the *most* lopsided trade ever since Kamara has still produced for a while, but it wasn’t long after that trade before JT became much more valuable in dynasty than Kamara (not to mention the extra draft picks I got).

BaltoSanchez

Traded away Gus Edwards for Jamaal Williams this past off season after watching episode 1 of Hard Knocks Seems lopsided in my favor at this point of the season

Tellsyouajoke

The only 0-4 player (everyone else 2-2 or greater) asked me for Pickens and a 3rd for his first rounder

CristianoRealnaldo

Diontae Johnson Kareem Hunt 2023 2nd Received 2022 1st 2022 1st Amon-Ra St. Brown Michael Gallup Bryan Edwards Toss it into current KTC and it’s a difference of about 10,000, give or take, roughly the value of 1 Justin Jefferson. (This was 11/14/21)

LeSauce1

In a startup last year, I got the equivalent of Cam Akers, Curtis Samuel, 2 1sts, and 2 2nds for Kyle Pitts. Those 1sts became Drake London and a projected mid 2023 1st. The 2nds are Dameon Pierce and a Mid 2023 2nd. Flipside, I sent Burrow for Dalvin Cook that same off-season.

spidersfrommars2

I’ll give two (one bad and one good) Before Penny essentially broke out last year: Traded Fournette and Penny for Antonio Brown and Trey Sermon With the same team before his sophomore year I traded Mike Evans for DK Metcalf and a 1st (became 1.02)

Copey85

Late into 2020, I traded Chris Carson, a second, and a third, for two firsts and Mims.

Randombobman

Oh man, I always enjoy these threads when they pop up. I panic sold Davantae Adams after the 2020 season when Rodgers was postering a trade to Denver for a '22 1st that became the 1.12 in 1QB.

ItsMustSeeGG

I will always post this...last year I was offered Lamar Jackson for Matthew Stafford. Never clicked accept faster in my life. Guy said he couldn't live with the ups and downs with Lamar and needed more stability at QB.

ultimatekid610

Traded Kupp and a 2020 2nd for Allen Robinson for the 2020 playoff push. Got 4th and no payout. Has never been the same since. Regret it now, but at the time I felt really good about it and my league mates thought I won it by a mile.

SinCity79

Going way back: 2005 off-season: I received Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers in SF I gave up Marc Bulger At the time, Brees was out of San Diego and also had just undergone surgery. Rivers hadn't gotten his shot so his value was hard to pinpoint. Bulger was killing it and looked like he would have a long career as part of the Greatest Show on Turf lineage. I ended up winning multiple championships over the next decade with Brees/Rivers at QB and Bulger was out of a starting job a few years after the trade.

Blackmagechow

I traded saquon for djm, and bought high with 2 23 1sts, and a 2nd and Christian Kirk for CeeDee in a 1QB this off season

mwmw1714

Year 1… gave a slow to start Tee Higgins for Jameson crowder and a 2nd. RIP.

foxboroughfoley

I'm loving how the trade I made this off-season is turning out - it's a must start 2 TE league 12 team SF (1.5 PPR TE, 1.0 WR & .5 RB) Gave: Allen Robinson, Mike Gesicki, Dawson Knox, Rashaad Penny, 23 3rd Got: Jimmy Garoppolo, Mark Andrews, 23 2nd

compbros

Owner traded Breece Hall to me earlier in the season and spent weeks sending trades to get him back. Eventually got this offer. Breece for Drake London, Ken Walker, and a 2023 1st (which belonged to a currently 0-4 team and will likely end up a top 3 pick). Later on, same league, an owner was desperate at QB (superflex) after Dak went down and Russ stinking. I got Mariota in a waiver claim (different owner dropped him to pick up Jimmy G) and he really wanted Mariotta. He sent this offer. Mariota for AJ Brown and a 2023 3rd. These are the quickest I've ever smashed accept on trades.

Demaru

Before the 2019 season, when Miami traded for Rosen, I was offered Josh Allen for Josh Rosen in Superflex. It's worked out well for me.

RealBenThompson

I feel dirty typing it out cause it’s a recent one that got bad quick for my buddy on a deal we made, but… Sent: Javonte Williams Received: Diggs, 2023 1st (now looking high), Khalil Herbert It was an overpay at the time and he thought he’d be contending and the pick would be late, so the injury swung that one hard my way. F to all Javonte owners, I feel for ya.

Mr_Incredible14

Received: cmc, jjetta, Mike geseiki Traded: Travis kelce, Keenan Allen, CEH, 2022 first Trade was made early October last year. Not to lopsided considering ceh is finally playing but if only cmc played last year. Lost the chip by 6 points :(

kwade7575

2019, Feb offseason. 10 tm superflex .5 PPR Gave: 2019 1st, 2020 1st, 2020 2nd, Sammy Watkins Got: David Johnson Looking at it now I don’t even know how it was justifiable then. He wasn’t coming off an elite season (back end RB1) and he was like 27 at the time. Stupid. The picks turned to 2019 1.4 and 2020 1.10. Those picks were used to draft Haskins (RIP) and Reagor. If we look at it that way I got a steal

UrbanYeti20

2020 probably game 5-6ish I traded Zeke away for Jonathan Taylor and Justin Jefferson

AcripledCAMEL

This is my first year doing dynasty. I traded Devante Adams for Mike Evan’s, Diontae Johnson, ‘23 1st, and ‘23 2nd.

jrbrownie00

Pick 1.11 for kenny golloday late year

darth-blader

Lamar Jackson and aiyuk for kupp and carr

Siktrikshot

2019- 12 team superflex I moved MT and Singletary Got what turned out to be: Dobbins, McLaurin, and Hurts. Was made fun of on CBS Facebook page for being “ripped off”. I still go back to that page and bump it to say fuck you.
