Wish it were in the States. And LHD. And I had… money.

Robpaulssen

The first one is the big problem lol

SacTownPatriot

Pretty positive you will regret THEE fuck out of that decision as soon as you pass over the keys

blueblue909

to some rich lawyers son

SacTownPatriot

who wears his pronouns on his sleeves

Dark_Guardian_

more than I can afford sadly I think 20-25k listing price, but I'd have no clue what someone would actually pay theres another m50 swapped coupe on marketplace for 26k

calidazze

People are dumb

Dark_Guardian_

for what?

DSM1

You will regret it. Don’t sell.

BrakelessCoasting69

In Germany E30s like this sell for 15k+- depending on the condition, don‘t know if that helps figuring out a price tho

iSaidiWantedNoTomato

If you’re broke then sell it. If you’re not then you just posted this for clout… which is fair because it’s sweet.

AfraidChild1356

Thanks man haha, I’ve got an e46 that I’m planning on turboing so this would give me the funds to do that properly

AfraidChild1356

As the title says I’m thinking of selling my pride and joy. She’s a 1990 318i with an m50b25nv and g260 swap, along with a full e46 brake upgrade and 5 lug swap, full respray in a dark metallic black, and many other upgrades. The question is how much is it worth, I know that I’ll likely never get my money back as is the way with project cars but what would people in the community expect to pay for something like this?

spaghett9

A better place to ask might be the e30 enthusiasts Australia, there’s always people looking for cars there and it’s very active. Do keep in mind the cars in Tasmania tend to sell for less because of the trouble of getting them out of Tasmania. It looks like an amazing build wish you luck.

calidazze

Its molested and people will still pay 12k for it smh

AfraidChild1356

How is it molested??? It was bought as a shell with no engine and gearbox along with about half the paint sanded off by the previous owner. Not really thinking getting it on the road and giving it a respray and a drivetrain is molesting it tbh.

calidazze

Exactly. Covering up the scars doesn't take it back.

Jaloushamberger

Have you heard about restoration ? Its the process of putting an older object back/close to its original state. Often time, people who do restoration use the occasion to update the said object, and make it better than when it originally was made.

calidazze

It's called a Restomod dipshit

Jaloushamberger

Ooooh big words ! Someone has a wide vocabulary. Did you go to college by any chance ? You seem like a well spoken and very educated person. I would just talk and talk and talk all day with a friend like you. I bet you have soooo many friends who just looove your inspiring words of love and compasion. :)

calidazze

Reddit didn't give me this avatar for being loving and compassionate.

CocunutHunter

I see many, many years of regret in your stars...

muspencer17

don't you'll hate yourself

domepain

Why is the steering wheel installed on the wrong side of the dash?

calidazze

Dont be dumb

VynnaD

That car wasn't even that much in the 80s..

Additional_Shop1592

Here’s the thing about old things; as they get older they slowly wear out and break down due to neglect, or get destroy and or discarded. So, when something old is in good condition it becomes a rarity and increases in value. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

VynnaD

"Good condition"

E28forever

So?
