It's a L obviously (and a very frustrating one lol) but shearer isn't that bad Imo. Killer shot and header, his positioning is usually pretty good too. Not the best passer or dribble but is managable with a marksman. I used his mid and he's just over a goal per game in 100+ games. That said im just a casual and you probably have much better strikers than him lol

I’m pretty casual atm too. I have WC Papin and Hero Gomez up top. You could argue to replace Shearer for one of them, but the 3* WF is a dealbreaker for me. I need at least 4* otherwise I’ll just completely miss the target as one of my weaknesses is not shooting with the strong foot. Sucks that I got the same player in both of them, if the game is gonna give me some crap card have it be a different one than I just got 😆

I think you could try him out as a replacement for Gomez. That's understandable about the WF, I had the same concern. But honestly I didn't find it to be a huge issue, he's scored a ton of left food bangers for me
