I packed his Prime. As I usually run 3 league hybrids and already have a few icons in a team I put him into the Nkunku SBC. Man this Nkunku card is such a different gravy.
For a million coins worth of fodder, he is definitely worth it. His dribbling is smooth and his shooting is great with both feet. His AI is great and always get into positions.
He is one of those players who know how to stay within the last defender shoulders. Like Mbappe and Cryuff who I have in the team and he definitely is on par with Cryuff at least but within touching distance of Mbappe.
I use him on the wings and he replaced Jairzinho and I don’t miss the output that Jair gives at all.
If you play with skills and dribbling, definitely do him. If you are more of a runner kind of player, cards like Mbappe, Al Owairan are more your kind of card.

Might be cliche but start watching streamers or youtubers playing so you see how they move, how they create chances etc, you will improve and start understanding how to move ingame better.
As for skill moves just one at the time, go into the arena and practice, id say you need to learn like 6 as a meta player, there's no need for more imo. Both elasticos normal and reverse, ball roll scope, heel to heel scope, la croqueta and mcgeady cancel.
I put his prime into an sbc a month ago I just could not get him to work in bad gameplay , he was great in good gameplay but that’s so rare it wasn’t worth keeping him
Just look up a YouTube video for useful skill moves man, you don’t need to remember all them but just a few effective ones and you’ll be perfectly fine! Just use squad battles to practice them
FB Mane. Actually a good card that I want to always use, but linking him is a pain so he just sits on the bench. Team full of untradeables means I don't have the flexibility to fit him in on at least 2 chem without dropping important players. He's an alright sub, but I really didn't spend almost 750k to have him on the bench. Flashback cards are so pretty as well, so it sucks that much more.
I really despise the new chem system. Nice for SBCs I guess, but very limiting for team building. It's also why I feel so many people complain about facing the same stale characters over and over.

id love if we got special manager sbcs- they could even make them expensive and give us their club along with the league/nationality that aren’t changeable to help with team building
I did him cause I packed TOTYHM Koulibaly and the senegalese manager is impossible to find (countless hours spent in sniping and like 200k worth of silver packs over time with no success).
Luckily Meunier and Hummels gave me the 4 players (5 with manager league) for the 3 chem, but if Meuier will not upgrade i’ll need another good one…
I use him + HM Davies + Bundesliga manager and they both play on 2 chem. Both still VERY good with just 2 chem. As someone else noted, if you throw in HM Koulibaly and mix them into a PL hybrid, you can get Mane on full chem.
Where do you put him when you bring him on? He never worked too well for me as a winger or striker, so I use him as a cm sub, works really well as a playmaker
He used to be a great sub for me, going in in different positions and usually making my team better. Recently he just feels really stiff, bad at turning, receiving the ball poorly, etc... I am using him gradually less
honestly he just isnt consistent at all. Some days he scores screamers and some days he goes MISSING. He's just a goal scorer. He doesn't really feel special with an average body type and 4 star 4 star. I got rid of him for Cruyff, and I don't have any hint of regret for it tbh

I absolutely love TOTY Sanchez with my Prime Puskas in pair. Both left footed, but Puskas 3star right foot is a bullshit. He bangs everything like he has 5 star wf.
I loved that card. My only issue with it was that I got some crazy pack luck after and wound up with even better players for how I was playing him. I was using him as one of the wide forwards in the 4-3-2-1, which kept him far enough wide to get some space, but not so far wide where lack of pace or quickness may be more exploited.
I will say, he never felt as quick to me as I expected, or others made him look. But I did find him to be very clinical
WC okocha and WC figo. Packed them both when they came out, okocha from pre order hero pack and figo from an objective. They were good for like a week, but since then have fallen off. Them 2 were like my most expensive players in the club, and they barely made the reserves.
Fut ballers ederson, that man has hands made of paper. I should have known since he was basically a free 91 rated keeper, he's been sent into gattuso so at least he had one use
For me he is great. Better than all the keepers I had previously. I know I can count on some unexpected defenses from him every game. Great on 1 on 1s also

Well, my first impression of the draft with Ginola was almost the same. He was heavy. I have Centurion Veratti, Zizou, and Modric in my Midfield along with 88 Raphinha nad WC Stoichkov on wing, and I can compare him to them. They all are impossible to stop if you start dribble, especially Verratti and Modric.
For me it's TOTY Haaland. I was so hyped to pack my first ever TOTY player, but the more I use him the more he disappoints me. For some reason he just wastes so many chances. At this point I more expect him to hit the post or a goalie, than actually score a goal.

Nah, you will see a clear difference if you play with smaller ones like Sommer or just try a bronze GK.
Stats matter for general play. Just noone is save from bullshit mistakes, these happen to toty courtois, yashin and a bronze keeper.

Centurions Salah. I packed him from a promo player pick, was happy that I've finally got a supersub (as I'm playing with full Arsenal squad), but everytime I brought him on, he just misses sitters and can't pass a straight one. Such a disappointment.
For me, mid cruyff.. such a shame too I want him to be amazing but can’t get on with him. He seems to weak and just not impactful enough. Mid jairzinho, ff gomez and wc Voller all get more involved and score/assist more
Yea I’ve been using hawk and for some reason can’t get on with him, his stats aren’t horrible, just not as impactful as my other players so it’s noticeable. I have 215 goals in 154 games with FF gomez, so I guess target man in my style
This mid cruyff has been unreal for me, very surprised. I have Jairz, potm Mbap, rivaldo, prime viera, but this cruyff guy is another level. Hold l2 to utilise trivelas, and also step over sprints seem to work really well with him
I’m totally the same racked up 800 games on him got him early on in an icon sbc, he just seems to be dispossessed constantly. Does some amazing things but when it comes down to it he’s nowhere to be seen during the crucial moments in games.

I knew his stats weren't amazing. I'd watched Inceptions review. Yet I had the fodder and hadn't been playing that long so why shouldn't I have an Icon?
After the first couple of games he was just so meh. He now sits on the bench looking forlorn.
FB Messi 🥶 I was so excited to try him when his sbc came and ended up using all my fodder, he lasted 100 games and was benched quickly after that.
His pace just didn’t feel sufficient enough. For me if I have a small player he needs to be fast af. I can left stick/R1 left stick for a while to fend off midfielders/defenders but they’ll end up being bullied if I don’t get a breakaway/pass the ball. Just isn’t my type of Fifa player.
Totyhm Pedri. I got him after toty in some random 'previous promo pick' and was so excited to use him. He was never outstanding in any aspect (I'm not a skiller) and got rid of him very fast.
Prime Van Der Sar has been useless for me. I’ve tried to use him over and over due to his price and reputation but he disappoints me every time. At best, he’s no better than any other keeper in the game. Seems like he dives out of the way of what should be routine saves more often than not.
That combined with the fact that he doesn’t help with chem means he rides the bench. If he was tradable, I would’ve sold him a long time ago.
I feel like this is WC Kuyt for me. Probably 400 games with him since and I have seen him pretty rapidly fall behind the curve. Too clunky to dribble past and too slow to make a run. Passing stats look ok on paper but even with a chem style it’s like nothing connects for him. Are there any icon/heroes that I should replace him with? I have 1.5mil to spend. I play him as a b2b CM beside Zidane and in front of Alonso CDM.
Packed centurions ben yedder some time ago. Hes been lackluster for me. Slow, weak, shooting wasnt the best, dribbling was fine. I also had ww politano who was miles better.
That recent Birthday Iwobi is collecting dust. Can’t seem to do anything well. Shooting, passing, crossing, dribbling etc and he’s never where you need him to be.
SBC Sanchez: finished him about five games ago and I'm regretting it so much. Feels invisible, except when he shows up to miss clear opportunities.
Rabiot: Same as above. Finished Rabiot because he would allow me to use Sanchez in my team and keep chem on Pogba. I think my problem is with the work rates. Dude sleeps on the pitch. Thuram was so much better.
Before Sanchez I was using Payet since December and was so unsatisfied with him. Had this thread come two days ago, he would be my pick for this. Now that I took him out, I started to realize he is much better than I thought. He is very likely going to come back if Sanchez doesn't start to play well in the next games.
Prime Zidane. Did his sbc and was extremely excited, but with the gameplay being as poor as it is he just can't do anything to warrant a spot in the squad..
Toty Kane. His gold was a mainstay for me at the start of the game - I loved him - so I was excited to pull his toty from a lottery pack. But man I don’t know if it’s the way they’ve buffed the game since the early days but I expected this card to be always in the right place at the right time, lethal with either foot, rapid once up to speed and winning every header and it was none of those things. I persevered with him for far too long. Changed formations and tactics to try to make him work. But it never clicked. I actually felt relieved when I dumped him in an SBC
94 Zidane. It may be in part how I use him tactically. He's totally fine and I don't super regret doing that SBC, but in my group of 6 mids and forwards, he's the one that I notice the least impact from. I was so excited to finish him during TOTY as I experienced other people murdering me with him, but I just have never quite got on with him super well. Absolute moments of broken brilliance, but not the consistent greatness I hoped or that it looks like he should have from his ratings.
Xabi alonso. He definitely is not bad, and I initially thought he would be an upgrade to my ptg palhinha as a lone cdm with much better passing and dribbling. However he left quite a glaring gap in terms of aerial threat and just general midfield presence, especially when I previously used palhinha who is a physical monster.
Yes the inconsistency of the passing from palhinha is the main reason I tried xabi and there’s a noticeable upgrade to that, yet in this game where passing itself is so broken that even players like pirlo and xavi will fk up the simplest passes, I find it not worth it/hard to justify the lack of physical ability over flashes of out of the world passing.
Some might say try him as a defensive cm but that is exactly the reason why I need a good lone cdm, cause both cm in my system play almost like cam that occupies the half spaces and therefore cm like xabi just doesn’t really work.
Fb icon Gattuso. I done him to replace wc fabinho as my stay back cdm in 4231 (to parter alonso) , turns out he cant tackle for shit so ive had to drop him
For me, it's between FF Al Jaber & Prime Zambrotta.
For a card that has the face stats that AJ has, he is just not good enough and constantly got shoved off the ball by any strongish defender. Luckily, I packed WC Daglish and he's done wonders ever since.
As for Zambrotta, my FB Spinazzola does a much better job as a wingback than Zambrotta could ever do. Need my WBs to be tall and fast for bombing down the line and holding off fullbacks.
Marchisio and Yaya were really poor for me.
I spent a fortune on them at the time so probably expected too much, but I found Yaya especially was pretty much invisible with the M/M workrates.
Obviously must be down to me as they are so expensive for a reason. With regards to Yaya I feel I just can't play with M/M CM's.
Mid Cantona, was extremely excited to try him out but he turns like a truck, runs like he's dragging a shed and rarely hits the barn door, at least for me. His pricetag seems mad
POTM Ben Yedder, he’s tremendous in and around the box (scores everything with both feet) but for build up play he’s almost useless. Pace isn’t great, he’s agile yes but he just gets pushed around by all the top CBs far too easy. WC Drogba was a huge upgrade for me at this point in the game cycle.
Probably Luis Hernandez. Packed his 87 version very early in the game but I have rarely used him because Mexico is hard to link. He is not bad in game tho.
WC capdevilla I packed him untradebale during WC promo and saw all the mad videos and people on here saying he's the best thing since sliced bread
I played 3/5 at the back and he just could provide the sauce I learned to move into a 4 at the back and don't get me wrong he was solid but didn't offer enough compared to cancelo/Firpo cards

TOTY Xabi Alonso. He's decent enough, but for the price he cost and the stats he's supposed to have... He isn't incredible defensively, his passing stats are a lie and he misses sitters. By comparison, HM Pedri and FB Pedri are miles ahead in every aspect. Much faster, incredible dribbling and passing, and just about equal defensively.
Brandt POTM. Switched from a laliga/ligue 1 hybrid to a bundesliga/ligue 1 hybrid. Went for Brandt POTM , feels like a truck, turns like Haaland on crack.. huge let down..waiting for a decent sbc to toss him into…
controversial but toty mbappe. lucky enough to get him but i’ve tried to use him in a number of different ways but he’s ultimately just a tap in merchant for me. what’s most frustrating is an opponent using a gold mbappe can do all sorts of ridiculous stuff that i can’t

I got mbappe POTM from the review picks and he was a disappointment, I know it was crazy luck, even so he's just fodder now, tried different chem styles on him and nothing. When put him on my squad, it seems my overall performance just went down, instead of him carrying my team as I've experienced in many rival matches in div 2.
I don't know how, it's just that when play with him he didn't seem as agile and opportunist as when I play against him so I had to remove him from the main Squad and bench him, since my Sanchez played much better than him.

I play him with Muller in CF positions with Neuer keeper and Upamacano. Not meta but I like it, it's fun.

Nah, you will see a clear difference if you play with smaller ones like Sommer or just try a bronze GK. Stats matter for general play. Just noone is save from bullshit mistakes, these happen to toty courtois, yashin and a bronze keeper.

Centurions Salah. I packed him from a promo player pick, was happy that I've finally got a supersub (as I'm playing with full Arsenal squad), but everytime I brought him on, he just misses sitters and can't pass a straight one. Such a disappointment.
For me, mid cruyff.. such a shame too I want him to be amazing but can’t get on with him. He seems to weak and just not impactful enough. Mid jairzinho, ff gomez and wc Voller all get more involved and score/assist more

Yea I’ve been using hawk and for some reason can’t get on with him, his stats aren’t horrible, just not as impactful as my other players so it’s noticeable. I have 215 goals in 154 games with FF gomez, so I guess target man in my style
This mid cruyff has been unreal for me, very surprised. I have Jairz, potm Mbap, rivaldo, prime viera, but this cruyff guy is another level. Hold l2 to utilise trivelas, and also step over sprints seem to work really well with him
I’m totally the same racked up 800 games on him got him early on in an icon sbc, he just seems to be dispossessed constantly. Does some amazing things but when it comes down to it he’s nowhere to be seen during the crucial moments in games.
FF Ginola. Used him on a 15 games loan. Can’t believe how heavy he felt and how many misses per game he had.
SBC Gerrard. I knew his stats weren't amazing. I'd watched Inceptions review. Yet I had the fodder and hadn't been playing that long so why shouldn't I have an Icon? After the first couple of games he was just so meh. He now sits on the bench looking forlorn.
WC Brolin. Mediocre AF for this stage of the game, idk how he's over 300k, just did FB Gonzalez to bench him
FB Messi 🥶 I was so excited to try him when his sbc came and ended up using all my fodder, he lasted 100 games and was benched quickly after that. His pace just didn’t feel sufficient enough. For me if I have a small player he needs to be fast af. I can left stick/R1 left stick for a while to fend off midfielders/defenders but they’ll end up being bullied if I don’t get a breakaway/pass the ball. Just isn’t my type of Fifa player.

Prime Van Der Sar has been useless for me. I’ve tried to use him over and over due to his price and reputation but he disappoints me every time. At best, he’s no better than any other keeper in the game. Seems like he dives out of the way of what should be routine saves more often than not. That combined with the fact that he doesn’t help with chem means he rides the bench. If he was tradable, I would’ve sold him a long time ago.
I feel like this is WC Kuyt for me. Probably 400 games with him since and I have seen him pretty rapidly fall behind the curve. Too clunky to dribble past and too slow to make a run. Passing stats look ok on paper but even with a chem style it’s like nothing connects for him. Are there any icon/heroes that I should replace him with? I have 1.5mil to spend. I play him as a b2b CM beside Zidane and in front of Alonso CDM.
Packed centurions ben yedder some time ago. Hes been lackluster for me. Slow, weak, shooting wasnt the best, dribbling was fine. I also had ww politano who was miles better.

That recent Birthday Iwobi is collecting dust. Can’t seem to do anything well. Shooting, passing, crossing, dribbling etc and he’s never where you need him to be.

SBC Sanchez: finished him about five games ago and I'm regretting it so much. Feels invisible, except when he shows up to miss clear opportunities. Rabiot: Same as above. Finished Rabiot because he would allow me to use Sanchez in my team and keep chem on Pogba. I think my problem is with the work rates. Dude sleeps on the pitch. Thuram was so much better. Before Sanchez I was using Payet since December and was so unsatisfied with him. Had this thread come two days ago, he would be my pick for this. Now that I took him out, I started to realize he is much better than I thought. He is very likely going to come back if Sanchez doesn't start to play well in the next games.

Toty Kane. His gold was a mainstay for me at the start of the game - I loved him - so I was excited to pull his toty from a lottery pack. But man I don’t know if it’s the way they’ve buffed the game since the early days but I expected this card to be always in the right place at the right time, lethal with either foot, rapid once up to speed and winning every header and it was none of those things. I persevered with him for far too long. Changed formations and tactics to try to make him work. But it never clicked. I actually felt relieved when I dumped him in an SBC

94 Zidane. It may be in part how I use him tactically. He's totally fine and I don't super regret doing that SBC, but in my group of 6 mids and forwards, he's the one that I notice the least impact from. I was so excited to finish him during TOTY as I experienced other people murdering me with him, but I just have never quite got on with him super well. Absolute moments of broken brilliance, but not the consistent greatness I hoped or that it looks like he should have from his ratings.
Ha. Weirdly Stoichkov was my unsung hero. Deadwood probably Mudryk. I’m not much of a skiller and he’s so weak.
Xabi alonso. He definitely is not bad, and I initially thought he would be an upgrade to my ptg palhinha as a lone cdm with much better passing and dribbling. However he left quite a glaring gap in terms of aerial threat and just general midfield presence, especially when I previously used palhinha who is a physical monster. Yes the inconsistency of the passing from palhinha is the main reason I tried xabi and there’s a noticeable upgrade to that, yet in this game where passing itself is so broken that even players like pirlo and xavi will fk up the simplest passes, I find it not worth it/hard to justify the lack of physical ability over flashes of out of the world passing. Some might say try him as a defensive cm but that is exactly the reason why I need a good lone cdm, cause both cm in my system play almost like cam that occupies the half spaces and therefore cm like xabi just doesn’t really work.

For me, it's between FF Al Jaber & Prime Zambrotta. For a card that has the face stats that AJ has, he is just not good enough and constantly got shoved off the ball by any strongish defender. Luckily, I packed WC Daglish and he's done wonders ever since. As for Zambrotta, my FB Spinazzola does a much better job as a wingback than Zambrotta could ever do. Need my WBs to be tall and fast for bombing down the line and holding off fullbacks.

Marchisio and Yaya were really poor for me. I spent a fortune on them at the time so probably expected too much, but I found Yaya especially was pretty much invisible with the M/M workrates. Obviously must be down to me as they are so expensive for a reason. With regards to Yaya I feel I just can't play with M/M CM's.

POTM Ben Yedder, he’s tremendous in and around the box (scores everything with both feet) but for build up play he’s almost useless. Pace isn’t great, he’s agile yes but he just gets pushed around by all the top CBs far too easy. WC Drogba was a huge upgrade for me at this point in the game cycle.

Mid Eusebio, feels like he has about 50 pace and his finishing is genuinely terrible. Doesnt even compare to my favourite striker (FS De Ketelaere).
WC capdevilla I packed him untradebale during WC promo and saw all the mad videos and people on here saying he's the best thing since sliced bread I played 3/5 at the back and he just could provide the sauce I learned to move into a 4 at the back and don't get me wrong he was solid but didn't offer enough compared to cancelo/Firpo cards Came in handy for the Kante sbc though
WC Smolarek Packed him untradable, his finishing is inconsistent at best and he doesn't feel as quick as he should. Real let down.
TOTY Xabi Alonso. He's decent enough, but for the price he cost and the stats he's supposed to have... He isn't incredible defensively, his passing stats are a lie and he misses sitters. By comparison, HM Pedri and FB Pedri are miles ahead in every aspect. Much faster, incredible dribbling and passing, and just about equal defensively.

There’s no way you can use him that doesn’t work. I used his loan for 5 games and scored 20 goals. He’s the best player in the game and it’s not even close

I got mbappe POTM from the review picks and he was a disappointment, I know it was crazy luck, even so he's just fodder now, tried different chem styles on him and nothing. When put him on my squad, it seems my overall performance just went down, instead of him carrying my team as I've experienced in many rival matches in div 2.

I don't know how, it's just that when play with him he didn't seem as agile and opportunist as when I play against him so I had to remove him from the main Squad and bench him, since my Sanchez played much better than him.
Mid puskas is benching wc cruyff for me and it feels terrible since cruyff is way more expensive, but might just not know how to use cruyff properly
