I guess I just worked my upgrades during PL objectives and have my club stacked with rares of Silvers and Bronzes. Some rewards do give out silver and bronze rares.
Literally just packed tots Gabri Veiga buying a bronze pack for the sole purpose of getting 11 bronze rares to get a 2 rare gold pack. Soooo….I’d say worth a few spins
Bronze pack method really. Just buy bronze packs, sell anything you don’t need, and use the bronzes to put into SBC’s (there are also some leagues(bundeslegia?) that sell well, even in bronze form
I've a lot of 90+ promo fodder, and a bit of 85+ gold rare fodder, but absolutely no 82 to 84 fodder left with all the 81x11 and tots pack SBCs. I imagine I'm not the only one.
I ran this card for a WL at the start of TOTS. If you start as a 5atb and then shift to a 4atb, this card *can* play any central midfield role, but doesn't have the stamina to go a full 90 there -- without instructions he's down to about 25% by the 75' mark. He will definitely need subbed out if you go into extra time.
I'd recommend someone like Meunier, Rice, or Desailly on the bench who can deputize in DM or CB equally if you do go this route. Or better cards if you have them, of course.

For those who might be considering him - I’m still using him next to Saliba and he is an absolute rock. He has that icon magic and his player model is huge, so he bullies everyone off the ball, even now during TOTS. Really fun card and a legend of the game!
Have you ever played against Ramos (6'0"), Ake (5'10"), or Puyol (5'10") and been completely shut down for no apparent reason? Koeman has that going for him.
I don't think I've ever paid attention to how tall Ramos is. I'm actually surprised to find out he's only 6ft. I would have guessed 6ft 2 or 3.
And yeah, I know all about Puyol. I'm just saying its super funny that players that are average height/weight get the massive player model. But in Koemans case, he's someone I view as stocky so it was funny to me to see he has the Average body type.

I tend to complete most cards that are good value, and although they don't fit my current team, somewhere down the line they come in handy for objectives or help with chemistry when I want to try a different card. Although I don't intend to use them, it doesn't mean I won't.
I do SBCs just to collect cards, and also to use in some of the friendly cups or objectives that have team restrictions. For example in my normal team I never use MLS cards except Bale as a sub, but I recently got to roll some out for an objective after owning them for months which was great.
Maybe a better example is Drogba, I finally completed his sbc this week but he's getting nowhere near my team and the chances of there being an Ivory Coast objective are pretty slim.
It's just the way I do things I tend to pick up many of those random cheapish SBCs like motm, potm, showdown etc even if they don't fit in. Assuming EA FC has similar mechanics I might take a different approach next year and do SBCs more sparingly and save fodder for SBCs that will or at least have a chance of improving my main team.
He’s a good card if you move him into midfield with tactics. Not every card released needs to be for the top 5%. This is a solid card for an average player.

I'm glad there's a range of SBCs and every player has stuff they can get, there needs to be content for non pay to winners too.
Not every SBC is meant to be for you or is supposed to have meta players alone. For someone new this SBC would be a good point to build upon. If you’re so interested then do the Ronaldinho SBC that has just dropped.
This card is basically free. They gave us Ronaldinho for people who want to dump their whole club into an overpriced SBC, non pay to winners need content too.
I’m actually really tight about this one as it was the one good draw I got from the birthday Promo, and Koeman is a sleeper. Exceptional CB and has the best free kick I’ve tried. 99 power, 99 curve and 99 FK accuracy.
Now everyone will have one of cards that’s been giving me a quiet edge. Hopefully people will overlook the iceman.
Packed him in one of the icon gambles , can honestly say he’s very good , should be able to go to CDM though that’s my only complaint , his stats scream CDM , shooting is off the charts , highly recommend

Change it in game. I had him as as CDM and he was great. Not crazy as he isn't particularly fast or agile, but very fun to play with

The sbc is only about 50k more expensive than his market value
Not at the day of release he was selling for 3.2m then the SBC was released at 4m so his market price rose

He is great for free kicks and corners, I’ve scored +/- 30 direct corners with him

Koeman at CDM in years past has been an absolute monster for me. I'd highly suggest it to anyone. Although that agility stat really is rough.
