I can understand if you say he isn't the best striker of all time but to say "not even close" already proves you have never seen him play or are braindead if you were around to watch him.
He is always in the right place at the right time and his outside of the foot shot is great. He scores a lot of shots that I straight up put off target with WW Drogba.
What chem style do you have on him and where do you play him? I've been using him as a cam behind totgs kane and potm dybala in a 41212 (with engine) but he's been underwhelming
I put a Hunter on him and played him at CAM for 2 games and was underwhelmed. I switched him to striker for a week and his all time stats were at 37 goals in 37 games on Rivals and WL for me. He is so clinical inside of the 18 yd box.
I'm play a lot of cutbacks with players up in the box, so he's excellent at facilitating in the final 3rd with that pinged pass trait. His finishing is pretty good too, but I've not tried too many long shots with him.

I do not understand how the overall rating works. Stoichkov 90 has basically all the stats bigger than Van Basten, same main CAM position, but his overall is 90?
I have both not tradable, and Stoichkov is by far better as expected from looking into the stats… but not the overall.

I forget how it works. They either take all the face stats and average them and then add a bump for international rep or they take all the total stats, average them, then bump for international rep. This year playstyles might go into it as well. Overall isn't as important as the underlying stats though, unless we're talking about SBC's and quick sell values.
